Wow, you really did a nice job with Flavia’s face, armor and sword to achieve what you were going for! smile.gif
King Coin
My turn to say yucky helmet. It looks like it’s too big for her. She looks brilliant.

I think my favorite screen of this bunch is the one of her standing at the fence and resting her hands on the side.

The little gladius looks nice and sharp. I bet Aravi would enjoy that sword, though her tastes have shifted toward the longer variety since leaving Cyrodiil.
SubRosa
Grits: That is Faendal in that pic. I do not think I did anything to his hair. I cannot remember exactly what his vanilla hair looked like though. I tweaked a lot of his stats so that he would be a better follower (every follower needs Light Foot!).

Stormcloaks, Gauls, Germans, Britons, they are all barbarians, and they all die the same...

Acadian: Flavia is one of my few black-haired characters. I was looking for an Italian look with her. Which I suppose is also an Imperial look... biggrin.gif She is a challenge to play, as she is a no-magic character. So no healing spells. Reith was easier to do as a no-magic character, since she is an archer, and keeps at a distance. Plus she has that horse to move around quicker. Flavia is a close in slugger, so she takes a licking. She must have put on a hundred pounds from eating Apple Cabbage Stew in the last few days! It was only today that she used her first potion, and only out of desperation because all of her food was gone. She decided that healing potions were ok (and that they actually worked, she just assumed they were a bunch of hooey) and bought some from an alchemist.

King Coin: I like the helm because it is authentic, down to the horizontal bar across the forehead. That was added during Trajan's campaigns in Dacia. The Dacians used a two-handed sword called the Falx, and their favorite move was a downward chop at the head. They were so strong they were splitting the Roman's heads in two, even with their helmets. So the Romans added that bar, and it was just enough to keep their noggin's in one piece.

The one at the fence was my favorite pic too. It is a nice reflective moment, underscored by the fact that there is an elf standing right next to our real life Roman.

The gladius was really overpowered in the mod I am using. It was set to do 20-something damage. So I modded it back down to the same stats as a steel sword.

On the way to Soltude

Flavia stopped at the Dragon Bridge inn for the night

Two warriors

Flavia was forced to adopt an usavory weapon at Robber's Gorge. Now she is thinking that she should hire some Syrian archers or Balearic slingers as auxiliaries to deal with these bandit archers.

But as ever, it was the gladius that spoke last
King Coin
I like the lighting in the first pic. Veiled in shadow.

rollinglaugh.gif Two warriors: They do NOT look like they get along. I see that clenched fist!

What does Flavia think of Khajiit and Argonians? How about magicka?
Grits
Vanilla Faendal has white hair in that ponytail style with the shaven sides.

I like the Dragon Bridge Inn picture best. Flavia has an excellent nose. smile.gif

Acadian
Oh, Grits is right! The scene inside the inn is a fabulous shot of Flavia. You really did a great job with her face, capturing the perfect blend of physical but somewhat aristocratic that conjures images of her heritage.
SubRosa
King Coin: I didn't even notice the clenched fist! And that was before Flavia asked Rikke about her thoughts on the Empire's ban of Talos worship... biggrin.gif

The interesting thing about playing Flavia is that it made me realize just how human-centric the beginning of the game is. The only non-humans you see during the entire tutorial at Helgen is Elenwen and her two bodyguards, and they are off in the distance so all you can really make out is their golden armor and yellow skin. From then on out Helgen is all round-ears though. So Flavia just took the 3 elves as being a trick of the light.

It was not until she got to Riverwood and met Faendal that it started to sink in that she was not in Kansas anymore. It was in Embershard Mine that she saw her first Khajiit. Her reaction was WTF! Then she killed him, and her second reaction was WTF!

As a general's daughter, Flavia grew up surrounded by people claiming to be magicians, astrologers, alchemists, etc... After all, back then no one dared put their pants on in the morning without first having their astrologer kill a goat to study its entrails to see what the portents were. Flavia is a good, somber, unimaginative Roman though, so she never put any stock into that silliness. So she put down potions and scrolls as nothing different. It was not until a bandit flamed her that she started to have second thoughts.

Now she knows that magic is real in this strange place, which she puts down to being Ultima Thule. But it is not for her. She's a fine, upstanding Roman after all. Good steel is all she will ever need. All that sorcery business is just effete and cowardly, the kind of thing you would expect from a Greek.

Grits: I have not seen the vanilla Faendal in so long I cannot remember what he looked like! So he had that wood elf ponytail? That always looks like something only a teenager should wear. It looks too young. That is probably why I changed it.

I gave her a bumpy nose. I do not think I have ever used that one before. I thought it would look more Italian.

Acadian: I tried to make her Roman looking. I also widened her jaw, to give it a more lantern, classic hero kind of look.

Oh I hoped that Flavia would hook up with Marcurio! He must look pretty normal to her, and his magic use could stretch her ideas about what’s possible. He might get to taste her blade, though. He’s mouthy. tongue.gif

Talen-Jei, how funny. He does have magnificent feathers, and that orange throat must mean sexy.

The Drink is packed! That’s my favorite, it shows taverns the way they should be! happy.gif
Acadian
I much prefer Flavia’s old hat (sans horns); that helmed shot is, however, very much a beautiful study of her face. happy.gif
So the hottest man in Skyrim is a true Lounge Lizard? tongue.gif
Uh oh, taunting a giant? ohmy.gif
I see Flavia’s gladius is not in danger of gathering any rust. wink.gif
SubRosa
Grits: As a Roman, Flavia is a firm believer in fighting fire with fire. She could see that she needed to have a hired spell on her side, to deal with all these Greekling mages roaming around. Mecrutio was indeed an easy one to pick up, as at least his ears are round, and he has a Roman look to him. Come to think of it though, are there any other pure mage mercenaries you can hire? I know there is Areana, but you have to do the Azura's Star quest to get her as a follower. You cannot just hire her like a regular merc.

Apparently Talen-Jei is irrestable. I guess once you've had scales, you never go back! Or maybe it is after having a few of those special drinks he makes, anything looks good? wink.gif

Those extra people in the tavern were added by me as trainers. One thing that always disappointed me about Skyrim was how few trainers there are compared to Oblivion. So I added more to all the major cities. I put most of them in the inns, to make them look more lively. As you said, most of them seem too empty.

Acadian: I like Flavia's regular helmet better too. So she gave that other one to General Tullius. I guess Talen-Jei is a true Leisure Suit Larry. I don't think the giant was impressed by Flavia's extra... stature.

It is always exciting to have Mecrutio as a follower

King Coin
Hadvar was it? I don’t remember his name very well. I don’t think I’m going to play the civil war anytime soon. None of my characters so far care about it.

The hottest man is an Argonian? I like the character, and he's got a nice voice, but really?

Flavia’s dress is Aravi approved.

Dead Man’s drink has an Argonian and a Khajiit? Aravi’s going to have to make her way to that town again.

############

It’s always exciting: She looks totally BA in that screen!

Lol @ the elk. Should have ran! I’m surprised you have to siege Whiterun, I was under the impression the Jarl favored the Empire.
Acadian
Flavia looks very much at home fighting in this new and frozen land. goodjob.gif

I love the pose as she ponders the map and her progress toward rebuilding the Roman Empire.
Grits
I love the first one! Shock energy and a draugr in mid-resurrection? Good times.

Aw, the poor elk. And also LOL. My favorite is the last one. smile.gif
SubRosa
King Coin: Hadvar it is. Aravi went through Helgen with him. Most of my characters go with Ralof, since he was the one who was not going to kill them a few minutes before. But since I was planning on going the Imp route with Flavia, he was the natural choice.

Dead Man’s Drink does not normally have an Argonian or Khajiit. They are some of the trainers I added to the inn. So do not get your hopes up.

When you play the Imperial side, you defend Whiterun from a Stormcloak attack. It plays out similar to the SC side, but is over a lot quicker, and stays outside the gates the entire time. It is a lot more fun from the SC side, since you get to fight all the way up into Dragonsreach.

Acadian: Flavia is getting used to Ultima Thule. Fighting a war makes it much easier. Thanks to her father, conquest is something she knows all about!

Grits: Mecrutio has a way of blasting someone with lightning just as Flavia gets the killing blow in. Then they go flying across the room. Once she shield bashed someone, and he timed his blast so well, that it looked like she shield-bashed the guy to the other end of the fort!

I still have no idea how that elk got itself killed, and ended up on that tower. It certainly wasn't there to begin with!

Flavia has gone undercover to intercept some Stormcloak documents and replace them with a forgery. Looks like her disguise as a simple mercenary is working.

Flavia is pretty sure this guy is a liar...

After borrowing a few horses from Fort Dunstand, Flavia and Mecrutio met this fellow on the way back to Solitude.

This is a little favor that Flavia did for the Jarl of Falkreath

Now she has a new homestead near the city.

There is still a lot of work to do.
Acadian
Almost didn’t recognize Flavia without her Roman duds. More decapitation! I really laughed over the last one; fixer upper with optional walls and roof. biggrin.gif
Grits
Nice to see Flavia settling in to Skyrim. I love the one with the two of them riding!
King Coin
Oh wow, that iron helmet is really ugly! It looks alright on a big ol’ Nord, but not on a fine lady like Flavia. I’ll take the Roman helmet over that any day.

Big guy’s blocking the road. I remember a Khajiit caravan ran into one of them once. I had to reload because they were getting a really close look at the moons thanks to Skyrim’s physics glitches. laugh.gif

She popped that bandit’s head right off! ohmy.gif

Aravi’s going to have to start Hearthfire soon here. You did get my hopes up with the Khajiit and Argonian. Aravi’s already aimed to go past that little village. I suppose she can respond to the offer she got by the local Jarl there to get some land.
SubRosa
Acadian: Those last two are from Hearthfire. Instead of buying a full built house, you just get the plot of land, and have to do all the construction yourself. It is a lot of work!

Grits: Flavia is indeed getting used to things in Ultima Thule. She even has three new swords now that she might switch to sometime. Two were gifts from Tullius - both enchanted elven swords. She used one as part of her disguise. One was just a lucky find in a dungeon - and ebony sword.

King Coin: The iron helmet is ugly. It is probably my least favorite of them all. The front of it just looks weird. They actually had no troubles with the giant. Most of the time my characters can walk right past them without them becoming hostile. Usually it is only when they are in their camps that they get mad.

Night battle at Fort Amol

Note the trajectory of the arrow. Apparently they know that knees are especially vulnerable in this game. tongue.gif
Acadian
That is neat that you can build a house like that!

More bloody, head-severing conquesting for our Roman! I really like the expression on her face in ‘First Skyrim, then Tamriel’. Looks like she has plans for the Flavian Empire.
King Coin
Lol! I love the ‘undercover’ screen shot! The map table is very cool. I think if I make a house mod, I’ll put a wall map in it. Fort Amol is very pretty with the auroras.

General Tullius with a bow?

Watch out Tamriel, Flavia’s looking comfy on that throne. biggrin.gif Wonder what Tullius thinks?

Finally, Fires of war. A great shot of her and damage wrought.
SubRosa
Acadian: Building a house in Hearthfire is a lot of work! I almost feel as if I am really doing it myself. It is nothing like buying a house in Oblivion and just paying for the upgrades. That is a good thing though, it really makes me feel like I am getting my money's worth. Instead of just plunking down some cash and having your house presto, saving up the money to buy materials gives you a goal while you are building. You can even some of the stuff dungeoning or exploring, like the iron or stone.

The Flavian Empire indeed! Unbeknownst to Flavia, her father founded a line of Flavian Emperor's back on Earth. If only the game would have the option, my Flavia would be doing the same in Tamriel...

King Coin: The maps are very cool. Besides the simple version you can stick on a table or wall, you can also put one up between two supports, like Farengar has in Dragonsreach.

I was surprised at the bow as well. Tullius used that for the entire Battle of Windhelm. I think he only drew his sword when he and Rikke were fighting Ulfric at the very end.

Flavia has pretty much gone to the end of her story with the capture of Windhelm. So I moved on to something completely different.

Now there is an eye-opener

Hot! Hot! Hot!

Meet Amaterasu, priestess of the Nine Divines

Amaterasu gives thanks to Kyne, for calming the savage beasts

She also gives thanks to Arkay, for providing her the arsenal to smite the undead

More smitage

Amaterasu prays the spirits of these unfortunates will now know peace

Grits
Is Amaterasu a Bosmer? She's so pretty! She looks a lot like my wood elf sized friend Jackie. smile.gif

There is a lot of smiting duty available in Skyrim. Is Amaterasu going to pursue a particular questline? Skyrim Jerric is presently apologizing to a few of the Divines. It would be fun to map out the Aedric shrines and make up a pilgrimage. That would be a lot of walking!
Acadian
Yikes! How did dragons get through the SubRosa anti-dragon firewall and into your game!?! ohmy.gif

Amaterasu’s a looker with nice elven eyes – is she an elf or are using a human and going for eyes like her Japanese namesake? Like Grits says, she looks rather Bosmeri but I can’t see her ears and I’m not that familiar with the visual differences between the races in Skyrim.

I’m guessing she’s a pure mage perhaps using magic that relates to the Nine?
King Coin
Dawnguard has the perfect spell for Amarterasu! Sunfire belongs to restoration school and only harms the undead. You can shoot it at anything else and it will be unharmed.

HOT!- Great screen of Alduin.

Amaterasu is gorgeous! I love the screens of her on the mountains. Beautiful. smile.gif She might be interesting to make into a strict no killing character. Calm spells, paralysis, that sort of thing. Undead would be open to destruction I would think though. Grits has a wonderful idea of finding all the Shrines.
SubRosa
Grits: Amaterasu is an Altmer, my favorite race in Skyrim. I am using a new face texture mod with her (and was with Flavia). This one adds more detail to the skin when you zoom in close.

That idea of visiting all of the wilderness shrines has been in my head, though I don't have a map showing them all. At least not in the same map. The UESP Skyrim map lets you zoom in to see them, or do searches on each Divine's shrines. But I have not seen anything that puts them all together in one, easy to view map. Not like there was for doing the KOTN pilgrimage quest in Oblivion. She has visited two Talos shrines already, and made the long walk up to High Hrothgar. I also plan to try to do all the Divine-related quests in the game. Right now she is doing the Mara one out of Riften, which I have never done before. I can see her doing the Dawnstar quest with Erandur, the Dibella quest in Markarth, the book fetch quest for the priest in Falkreath, etc...

Acadian: That one dragon is part of the tutorial. He is the one who rescues you from certain death at the hands of the Empire. Though of course that was not his intent, just a fortunate side effect... The only way to avoid him is by using an alternate start mod. I like doing the tutorial though, and I do not mind dragons in the game. I just do not want to have to kill them all the time.

King Coin: Way ahead of you. I used the Turn Undead spells as a template to create a series of fire-like spells that only harm undead. Holy Flames, Holy Bolt, and Arkay's Wrath (a holy fireball). They mix the effects of the Turning and fire spells, and work really well with her RP. I am thinking of seeing what else I can do, like possibly making a spell version of those Bane of the Undead Scrolls. I also have an idea for one that combines a light spell with an area effect undead-only damage spell, and call it something like Arkay's Brilliance.

Amaterasu is not a pacifist though! She is a priestess of all Nine of the Divines, including Talos. That very quickly led to bodies marking her passage. She is actually rather similar to Renee's character's Dyan Phor A'Cauz and Lord Haaf-Mersey, noble types who smite evildoers for truth, justice, and the Tamrielian way. wink.gif Amaterasu just uses more magic than them.

Acadian
Ah, Arimer Altmer it is then. I do like the elven look to her eyes very much. Just need to get her out of that hood a little more often so we can see her pretty face! Her fashion sense does seem to trend toward the brown bag look just a bit. wink.gif Oh, well, I’m sure ‘tis fitting for a Priestess of the Nine to go light on the bling.

What a beautiful temple of Mara! Mara’s gift is love. She hates only those who hate and will not tolerate only those who are intolerant. My fave of the Nine for sure. happy.gif
King Coin
Wow, those mountain screens are awesome! Makes me want to take a trip to see the top of some real mountains. The aurora’s are so beautiful in the third one. You get that color more than I do. The road is littered with bodies! ohmy.gif Our priestess’ doing?

I love the sound of your spells. That sounds like fun actually, creating some new spells for the game.
Grits
Neat. There’s also Kyne’s Sacred Trials. I love your new spells! I just tried Turn Undead for the first time. It looks so pretty.

The sunset in the mountains is my favorite. Beautiful! smile.gif
SubRosa
Acadian: You will not see Amaterasu in much bling. She is but a humble pilgrim smiting evildoers in the name of the Nine. Unfortunately her robes look better with the hood. I like how the cloth gathers over the shoulder and drapes down her back. I just wish there was an option to move it back from her head, but keep the cloth around her shoulders.

King Coin: I use a mod called No Tint that removes the desaturization of color from the game, so that might be why my auroras seem brighter.

One good thing I do have to say about Skyrim modding is that creating new spells is easier than in Oblivion. There are tons of new magic effects, and you are not limited in creating new ones. Just find an existing effect that is close to what you want, and tinker with it.

Grits: Kyne's Sacred Trials is one I am leaving out. That quest makes no sense to me. You are supposed to honor Kyne by killing her sacred animal spirits? That is like Jesus' Sacred Trials being to kill the ghosts of the Apostles... It ought to be something like going around and killing all the hunters in Skyrim instead. Then you would be protecting Kyne's animals.

The animals of Skyrim owe their allegiance to Amaterasu

I do not envy the orc in the first screen. laugh.gif

That Dibella quest was fun. Aravi did it as well.

I like the road pictures. The merc must like her job. Who’s the big guy always maintaining a respectful distance?

Who has the pet Skeever? biggrin.gif
Acadian
I see what you mean about the hood and how much it adds to the robe with its attractive scarfing and caping. Yes, too bad you can’t have a version with the hood drawn back onto her shoulders.

A nice tour of life on the road for the traveling Priestess. Happy helmet – laugh.gif

It was neat to see Amaratsu communing with a sprig – I love them!
Grits
How funny, a smiling helmet! It looks like young Erik is finally getting to see the world. What a gathering by the bridge! Is that Amaterasu’s tame skeever? How does she get along with her fellow crusaders for the Eight or Nine, the Vigilants of Stendarr? She doesn’t look too thrilled with them in the picture.

I love the one with the spriggan. I’ve always wondered if spriggans would battle porcupines and beavers that go after their sacred trees.
SubRosa
King Coin: The big buy behind Amaterasu is Erik the Slayer. Ama hired him on to help her take on the hagraven at Orphan Rock. That skeever is a wild one. Ama Kyne's Peaced him to make him non-aggro, and while she and Erik and Maurice were standing beside it, the 'Cloaks came along. I found a mod that lets you play as a Draugr, and I am thinking of creating a skeever companion for her.

Acadian: One thing I like about Skyrim is that its roads are a lot more lively than those of Oblivion. In Ob, the wilderness is pretty much devoid of anything except monsters. In Skyrim, you find more travelers of one stripe or another sharing the road with you.

Grits: Ama is not thrilled with the Vigilants. Their manners are atrocious! The need to learn a thing or two about decorum.

I have never seen any beavers or porcies in the ES games. Or woodpeckers. So I guess the Spriggans did not like them! biggrin.gif

Screens: Pretty how that tree catches the light. Aww, helping a ghost. That’s a good shot of the scarf/hood thing on that guy – the same one that Amaratsu wears. Who knew that gurls dig guys in dresses with hoods? At least he and Amy go to the same clothier - Fashion Boutique of the Eight perhaps? Whoa, she’s going to catch a snowball in the face! The sprigs are. . . interesting; they sort of remind me of Oblvion glass armor. tongue.gif

Vid: Amaratsu’s style is unique. She seems to charge ahead full of high powered spells with nary a thought to her own defense (except killing the baddies quickly). Best defense is a good offence, I gather. Oh, there she goes – she did wisely back away from the dude with horns on his hat to avoid getting hit and use her range advantage. Ugh – puzzles. That would have sent us for either the exit or the wiki straight away – hate ‘em. But Amaratsu figured them out very cleverly. I couldn’t follow what was up with the big dude at the end who seemed indestructible – then got killed. Fun to watch though!
Grits
I loved seeing the sapling in Whiterun as it is supposed to look. My games have the bug where the old tree doesn’t go away.

I found myself scanning the sky over Amaterasu’s shoulder in the picture where she is talking to Fenrig. Between the dragons, the wolves, the giants, and the mammoths it seems there’s always a little excitement there. Gjukar really did pick a bad place to camp! tongue.gif

Babe magnet, LOL. That’s a great picture.

Wow, thank you for the excellent look at Arkay’s Wrath! What a neat spell! I love the blue smoke when the undead go back to dead. Plus it looks so pretty in Amaterasu’s golden hand. How liberating to have a character who doesn’t loot. My favorite moment was carefully moving the draugr leg to get at the Blisterwort. smile.gif

Oh that deathlord’s sword looked cool! Glowing runes!! I was rolling when Ama stood up and un-spelled when those puzzle pillars kept moving.

Did she find the amulet and staff?
King Coin
When I did the quest for the tree, Aravi opted to restore the tree. Knowing what happens now, I think the sapling option is a better one.

Who’s the ghost? I don’t think I’ve seen him before. Looks like those plains west of Whiterun too.

laugh.gif @ the ‘babe magnet.’ I remember everyone complaining about his voice when I showed that quest.

I really like the way the spriggans look in Skyrim, and how they sometimes just step out of trees. smile.gif

Does the ward actually help against physical attacks? Aravi’s always cut through them pretty easily with her bow or swords. Maybe her opponents are sufficiently weak that even after the reduction they pack plenty of punch.

I love your custom spells. I have an idea, make one with the little magelight spell that you can stick to undead and it burns them and anything near them for however long the orb sticks around. I might have to do that myself as well.

Idiot Tolfdir, stomping around and setting off the traps that Amaterasu avoided. I was a little surprised she wasn’t interested in the book.
SubRosa
Acadian: I think they got their clothes from Divines Elegance. wink.gif Amaterasu's playstyle is sort of like Renee's style with Dyan P'hor A'cauz. She does not sneak around. Instead she just boldly strides in with the power of the Nine Divines at her back, and smites evildoers. The puzzles in this game are not that bad. If you just look around enough, you will always find the clues you need to figure them out.

Grits: That tree is bugged in everyone's game, including mine. I had to use the console to disable and remove the old tree, and then enable the new one. Amaterasu does loot, but not in tombs. That would be disrespectful. She does pick plants for ingredients though. Indoors is the only place she will do that. My characters never pick plants outdoors, because it makes the world look less pretty. I wish there was a mod that would keep the plants looking in their original state after you harvest ingredients from them.

She did find the Gauldr amulet, but did not take it. Amaterasu only wears Nine Divines medallions.

King Coin: I have only done Danica's way once, just to see what happens, and I did not like how it turned out for everyone in Sanctuary afterward. The ghost is part of the Mara questline you get from the priestess in Riften. You have to reunite him with his dead girlfriend. The wards do help against physical attacks, although it never seems to block it all. I think it works the same as armor of the same value. So some damage always gets through. Amaterasu is my first character to really use them a great deal, and I am kind of iffy about them. The sticky Holy Light spell is a neat idea. I might try to make that one.

I did a little experimenting with a mod that lets you play as a draugr

The end result was Hela

She is very tomb-sheik

And likes to relax in the cool mountain air.

I am not really sold on the draugr mod though. It has a lot of bugs, which probably really cannot be fixed. The first person view has weird lighting issues, and you often see parts blurring around the top or sides, which I think are your character's teeth. The glowing eye effect is in the right spot for a male draugr, but is too high for the female version. So it looks like she has glowing dots in her eyebrows. I tried to offset that by using the console to add the regular draugr glowing eyes (which is in all my pics), but that also puts a black field around the character. If you wear a helmet it never appears, instead your hair vanishes and you look bald. Finally, even though you can equip any armor, you always look like you are wearing the Ancient Nord armor, even if you are wearing nothing at all. I had been thinking that Hela might wear a suit of armor or robes that completely covers her, with a full face helmet, and go into town in disguise that way. But it won't work. I think there are some other undead-type character mods out there that I might try instead. Whenever the Nexus starts working again.
Acadian
Old news: Shopping at 'Divines Elegance'! I love it!!!

Hela: Finally, you make a blue-eyed blonde and she’s dead? Eeep! Scary eyes indeed. I see she’s got some weaponry with glow in the dark blue markings to match those eyes. wink.gif
King Coin
That's certainly something I haven't thought of, playing as a Draugr. I think I prefer the characters that haven't died once already. Too bad the mod isn't working as well as you thought it would though.
SubRosa
Acadian: Blonds do have more fun! Even from beyond the grave.

King Coin: I came upon the playable draugr mod by chance, and it got me thinking about it. I figured it would be a great opportunity to play a revenge-driven character, come back from the dead to get even with who or whatever killed them. But the mod has too many issues, so I am not going to continue her.

Instead I got the idea to try something slightly different. I went looking for some Snow Elf mods, and found a pre-Dawnguard one that adds 4 new elf races, including the Snow Elves. They were kind of blue-skinned, so I Photoshopped the skin to be white. I changed the name and their powers and the end result was my undead avenger.

I am still undecided on a name. I am probably going to still use Hela, but I am hemming and hawing over some other ones:
Hrafngrennir - "Raven Feeder" The Kenning term for an unburied corpse
Krakeit - "crows" A slang term used for the valkyrja, who were sometimes said to wear cloaks of crows feathers.

I like her much better than the Draugr anyways. I love the glowing tattoo things.

This new character looks like her flesh is in ever so much better condition. I dunno on some of the potential names. . . Krakeit sounds too much like Crackhead; isn’t that one of Renee’s characters? wink.gif

King Coin: She is slightly better looking. I loved the tattoo things on the body too. Check out the mod it comes from.

Acadian: The new character is fresher. biggrin.gif I am sure Falanu Hlaalu would approve.

With some help from Grits, I have decided to name her Revansch

There are wolves about...

Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

After playing her for several hours, Revansch revealed to me that she was a dual-wielder, and insisted upon using these ancient Nord swords (which do go perfectly with her new outfit)
Acadian
You have a neat concept going with Revansch and I like the name, cleverly inspired by the appropriate word ‘revanent’. I imagine the climate of Skyrim, with its preservative temperatures, is very comfortable for this cool girl. Love the cape, and black is definitely her color. goodjob.gif

Love her look, of an undead woman anyways. I see you are using the tracks mod and the birds mod. How are they? I thought the birds one might be too much if they have any AI. Her armor and swords are perfect for her.
SubRosa
Acadian: It took me a while to figure out what Revansch was going to wear. Then it all came together at once. It is good to have a character wearing the Nightingale armor again, it is probably my favorite vanilla outfit in the game.

King Coin: I have not any performance issues with either mod. Tracks just uses decals, the same as blood, so the number of them and duration is dependent upon your game settings. If the vanilla decals are not slowing you down, these will not either. I am actually using two bird mods. Birds of Skyrim which adds all sorts of birds that walk around on the ground, and Birds and Flocks which puts more birds and bats in the sky. As far as I can tell, neither of them use an AI. They are the same as the salmon or hawks in the game. I like them both, as they add more atmosphere.

Revansch found a little lost dog (who helped her kill some vampires)

Bigger than the moon!

Dead girl-talk

Revansch is the reason you should not go out on the moors at night

Dinner is served

Good to know on the mods, I’ve downloaded them and will try them.

I hope the pooch lasts a while. They are fragile.

That’s a neat shot of the moons and the ribbon of light between them. Oh and the giant I guess. I wonder what a female giant looks like; they must be invisible or something.

Brilliant screen shot of Revansch in the marsh. My favorite shot of her yet.
Grits
Wow, Revansch looks awesome while still definitely looking dead. Her outfit and swords look great! I love the Moors picture the most. You got a very Crow feeling in that one!
Acadian
Amazing shot of the giant! Loved ‘Dead girl-talk’. Oh, and the red glow in her hands in ‘Dinner is served’ is neat as can be! goodjob.gif
