I’m so glad that Sigrun is working well and gets on well with Persephone. Aww, what beautiful shots of her adopting little Sophie and taking her home.

Wow, night over Winterhold and Persephone are a couple of spectacular shots!

Rest well, old friend - those shots are always poignant for Persephone I'm sure. It is wonderful to know that even the necroslaying deadgirl is surrounding herself with some family of sorts in Sigrun and Sophie. happy.gif
haute ecole rider
I love seeing Sophie in Windhelm. I always buy all her flowers. Alise keeps adopting her in every play through.

Persephone goes domestic! I loved the pic of her baking. It strikes me, given her backstory (especially the more detailed one you gave us not long ago), that this is particularly poignant, almost as if Persephone is trying to reclaim her mortality, as it would make her human once more . . .

And of course, the night shots and combat shots are always stunning.
Lopov
It seems Persephone likes Sofie. She still has some feelings after all.

She has a lovely and spacious house in Winterhold. Is there some quest to get it or no requirements?

Landscapes shots are beautiful but those when Persephone is paying respects to fallen ones, are my favorite. They're unique to Persephone.
haute ecole rider
@Lopov: The Winterhold house is one of SubRosa's mods. I recall her working on it a couple of years ago. She really did a nice job on it, didn't she? Looks like it belongs there!
SubRosa
Acadian: Sofie is one of the orphans I have trouble resisting, living out in the cold streets of Windhelm. She almost always gets adopted by my characters.

Persephone will always have her dead friends to keep her company. One day she might be summoning Sofie...

haute ecole rider: My characters always buy all of Sofie's flowers too.

The baking pic is exactly as you described. By going through the motions of being alive, Persephone is trying to recapture what it means to live.

Lopov: There is something more than pain and hate lurking within Persephone's frozen heart. People like Sofie are Persephone's only chance to kindle those warmer feelings.

h.e.r. is right. I created the Winterhold house mod a while back, for when I took a stab at playing grown up Sofie and Lucia. This time around I made it Hearthfire compatible, which turned out to be a lot of work. But it works perfectly for Persephone.

Judging by his hands, the old friend died in peace. Or at least he prayed before dying.

Persephone is dancing a deadly waltz a.k.a. the march of the dead.

Looks like it's heads.

Her eyes are in the "Chop" mood in the Chop shot.

Some great pics for the Where am I? thread, I don't recognize some of the locations, at least not instantly.
SubRosa
Lpoov: I believe the Chop pic was from Hob's Fall Cave, which is filled with necromancers. Nothing puts Persephone in more of a chopping mood than them!

When Persephone is not disarming people, she is getting ahead...

Her eyes are just right in the "Lights in the darkness" - not too glowy, but they show.
Acadian
It is poignant when you think about it. Persephone may very well watch Sofie turn from child to woman to gray to bones to dust. . . . kvright.gif

Dancing in the dark looks like she’s applying her absorb health spell to the crotch of her foe. . . interesting implications. tongue.gif

Since your first shots of wards in use, I’ve always thought they were very neat – photogenic.

I chuckled over the Blame George Bush the College for everything that goes wrong in Winterhold comment. laugh.gif

Oh, I love the Vaermina quest. Especially that you can side with either Vaermina or the Priest of Mara. happy.gif

haute ecole rider: You guess that you don't see too many vampires, zombies, or wraiths with ponytails! laugh.gif It is one of the things that makes her unique. She is a one of the kind undead, so the ponytail helps visibly set her apart.

Persephone got those scars when she was 15, and died when she was 29 (and her body was frozen in time). So her scars ought to look 14 years old, which should definitely make them old and faded. But there is nothing I can do about it. Bethesda made the scars, not me.

Acadian: Skyrim was the first game Persephone starred in. So I suppose it only natural that she fits best there.

I like how her ponytail has worked out. I had to work for hours adding hairstyles to my Deadwalker mod in order to find one that was right.

mALX: The white wolf pic is named after the cover of Tales of the White Wolf. When Persephone walked through those two stone columns, it made me think of the book cover, and how similar it looked.

Persephone gets the lay of the land

On the cover of the Tales of the White Wolf vs Persephone's version, I think hers is much more appealing if I was wanting to buy a book!!!

http://imgur.com/lVFMkw1

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/ima...04,203,200_.jpg

"Getting the lay of the land" - I don't know how you keep from falling off the edge in that shot, I got height sick just looking at the screen, laugh.gif

"Night Moves" is heading to being my favorite of the set, but I'll have to see the rest to decide, lol.

I absolutely LOVE seeing that Milky Way night sky, that is Awesome!!!!

"Red Handed" = Very cool shot, especially how you caught the spell before it left her hand! The contrast of the red color against Skyrim's monochrome backdrop is nice too; but every time I see the non-color and realize that is the vanilla - makes me want to send a scathing letter to the developers, lol. But even with that background (or maybe because of it) = Persephone in Skyrim is the most powerful version of her, she has a completely different atmosphere in Skyrim than anywhere else.

LOVE her pony-tail !!!!!

Azura's Coast lack of color is a shame, what a gorgeous shot that could have been - but on the other hand, what you have done to/with it, the contrast of the red in the sky and the light of Persephone's hair and shadow of her sword in the moonlight on it = spectacular shot!

I did love the Sea of Ghosts in Skyrim. Maxical spent quite a bit of time up there looking for some hidden out of the way treasures (there was one just north of a fort in the NW corner, but that was about it other than a main quest cave that I couldn't enter at the east end. (and I even swam down to the sea floor looking, lol).

"Last Sight" is another favorite, just for Persephone's expression! Awesome facial in this shot; but hard to beat "Night Moves," it is still my favorite!

Great Update!!!

haute ecole rider: Who can pass up an "Arrow to the Knee" joke? I think it is one of the things pop culture latched on to most about Skyrim.

Sigrun is working out really well. She fits right in with Persephone, just like Darryl Ulfar.

Lopov: I am afraid to say where that first pic is, because I am hoping to use it in the Where Am I? topic some day.

Unfortunately Sigrun has the nasty Bethesda companion habit of targeting Persephone's back! laugh.gif But when she does hit the bad guys, it hurts.

I love the landscapes in Bethesda games. Even one as old as Morrowind could produce breath taking imagery.

Acadian: It always feels a little odd playing Persephone without Darryl Ulfar making an appearance. But Sigrun has worked into things really well. She feels just as naturally to have back there with her bow as Ulfie does with his shouting.

Red-Handed is indeed Persephone showing off her Deadwalker Absorb Health spell. Two fists of red death! (That sounds like a kung fu movie title! laugh.gif )

Ooh, I want that animation!!!! That is Awesome !!!!!

Nice interior!!!

Ooh, you get to see an Aurora at your home? That is Awesome!!!

And I think I found my favorite of the set, "Night over Persephone!!!!"

What is causing the red armpits in this next shot? I noticed some red in the last shot, but this is really pronounced here like it is a missing texture (like the neon purple or pink in Oblivion)

Azura's Mountains is spectacular!!!!

Awesome update !!!!

Whenever I see these screens of Persephone beside bones "Hello" or "Goodbye" (Old Friend) - it always makes me wonder if she wonders why she is still walking Nirn while they are at rest. It explains why she finds herself drawn to like-creatures of walking death (like Sigrun, Darryl, her other brother Darryl, Larry, etc).

Sunset is spectacular!

Sunset II is another one of those that just makes me feel irritatated that Bethesda gave us such a bland background for our play; kind of a "what were they thinking?" - but that said, those shots always make Persephone pop in the screen, and in this case both her and Sigrun stand out rather than fade into the back drop - I attribute that to your own artistic ability to be able to get that out of what little Bethesda offered you to work with. Awesome shot! You have a talent for finding a way to bring that kodachrome to your advantage and using it to add atmosphere in your shots!

Where does that red come from in shots like "Dancing in the Dark" and "Dance Partner?"

"Helping the Mage Study wards" - Awesome shot !!!!

Urk, gaaaaah!

"Chop" is my favorite shot of the set; what a great expression on Persephone's face !!!!! Again with the odd red color, really not sure where that is coming from. Once again it makes me wonder if there is a mod cause for all the monochrome of your shots, maybe one you removed that altered something. I don't remember ever seeing that red anywhere but in the textures files from modders, and don't remember my Skyrim game being so monochrome as yours. I think something has def altered your game that may not even be an active mod anymore but wasn't cleanly removed. I'd have to get in my own game and go to these same spots and see if I see the same in my vanilla game to know, lol. Anyway, I love this shot, love her facial expression and the contrast in the shot.

All Awesome shots, great job !!!

BWAAHAA! Your titles have me laughing so hard that it was hard to concentrate on the content, especially the "Shaft" one!!! rollinglaugh.gif

I don't know this quest, but do remember something about nightmares in Dawnstar (or somewhere of similar name) and it having to do with one of the Daedric quests - I think I got the creeps and hurried Maxical out of there shortly after arriving in town.

When I saw the "Murder Mystery" - thought this was the Windhelm quest for the Player house, and never did that one either, lol.

I love the "Funeral Pyre" for the contrasting graphics; but it is another of those that the colorlessness of the game is too strongly felt.

"How are those nightmares?" is an outstanding view of Persephone's armor, LOVE that armor!

"Lights in the darkness" is my fave of the set though, what a spectacular shot that is!!!! That one of all of them feels like a moment has been captured on film. Awesome shot!

Awesome shots, all !!!

SubRosa
Lopov: Maybe the troll is the Jarl showing his true form!

I love Frostflow Lighthouse and its attendant horror story. It is one of the creepiest tales in Skyrim. The kind of thing I can imagine people retelling around campfires for decades.

ghastley: I do try to get pics of Persephone's face in just the right lighting to show off the glow of her eyes.

Acadian: That is the sad curse of immortality that Persephone lives under. I am sure she has played house countless times with other orphans, watched them grow up, grow old, and die. While she goes on unchanging.

mALX: I love walking up to the edges of cliffs in games. I would never do it IRL, but it is neat to look down, and see how far you can see.

That cooking pies animation is from using the bakery oven that comes with Hearthfire. I literally activated the oven, then hit TFC 1 and TM to get the free camera without the interface to take the picture.

The red armpits are caused by the absorb health effect that Malediction has. Whenever Persephone hits someone with it, the red absorb effect goes off, and bathes her in its glow.

The Dawnstar nightmare quest is the Vaermina quest, which I think of as a Mara quest, because you team up with a priest of Mara to get Vaermina's Staff. You can either help him destroy the staff (Mara ending), or kill him and take it for yourself (Vaermina ending).

Is that a huge mole rat in the last pic? Oh no, just a bear. I've been playing too much Fallout lately.
Acadian
As ever, Persephone’s unique absorb health ability is both fitting for her and colorfully photogenic.

Neat the way you positioned her for darkness and light.

M’aiq. . . too bad he’s essential. . . . evillol.gif

Ice falls is a good reminder how well-suited Skyrim’s climate is for Persephone.

Vigilants of Stendar. You know, I want to like them because of their paladinesque overtones. . . but they basically make liking them impossible with their buffoonozealotry. tongue.gif
SubRosa
Lopov: I worked hard to get the Darkness and Light pic. That one took a lot of work. I am glad it came out so well.

Picture opportunities with Maiq are always hard to pass up!

Maybe that is a Yao-guai in the Fallowstone pic? wink.gif

Acadian: I thought the lighting in the Darkness and Light pic was perfect to symbolize the darkness and light within Persephone, so I spent a lot of time getting that picture just right.

Tbh, it is kind of hard to imagine an ES game without Maiq. Is he in ESO?

I never really had any happy joy-joy feelings for the Vigilants. They remind me too much of the Inquisition and the self-proclaimed witch-hunters it inspired.

Acadian: I have been saving Old Blue eyes for a while now. Kicking off the Dawnguard questline seems like a great occasion to bring him back.

Ever since creating Persephone, Serana has been one of my favorite NPCs. She and Persephone fit together so perfectly. They are among the few people in the world who can understand one another.

I am using the Shut Up Serana! mod, which curbs some of her more annoying tendencies, like constantly saying: "What did you need?"

Acadian
Yay for Persephone’s war on the Thalmor!

I figured she’d get on well with Serana – they have a fair amount in common. I can imagine they would make a fun and solid team. Especially when augmented by Darryl and Serana’s resurrected bunnies and chickens and deer. tongue.gif

"Hot Foot" had me rolling!!!!

Persephone's expression talking tol the Vigilant = same thing, she all but rolls her eyes in that shot, lol.

Fallowstone Cave is one of my favorite caves; love that shot!!!

"Life-eater" is a better view of the absorb health aura around her; it doesn't look solid red here = more like I would picture an absorbtion of magicka and health to be, and makes for an Awesome shot!

SubRosa
Lopov: Darryl does catch the eye!

Harkon wasn't too nice. But then neither was Persephone. She wouldn't want to be a vampire if she was not already undead.

The Haunted pic was accidental. I was trying to get a look behind Persephone, and when I swung the camera around it zoomed in like that, so you could just see that ghostly image of her.

mALX: I always keep Hearthfire active, so I can adopt and get the new cooking recipes.

I started Dawnguard, since Persephone always got on well with Serana. So far she has taken Serana back home, and now Persephone is recruiting new members for the Dawnguard.

Looks like John Henry's been working on the railroad for far too long . . .

Beauty shot is not what I was expecting, but I surely do love old blue eyes.

Bright eyes, on the other hand, really is a beauty in that shot!

I laughed at the Lucia shot – “Thanks for bringing me home. What can I get into?” tongue.gif

Some great action shots vs the Wolf Queen. Does Potema remember Persephone?
Lopov
Beauty shot - it's the longtime awaited winner of the Mister Sinister competition!

Lucia not only has a home but her own doll to practice. Woe to her foes if she follows in Persephone's footsteps.

mALX: That was the Dainty Sload. I forgot the name of the ship. I think it is part of a quest that the shifty Argonian in Solitude tries to get you into. But I never did it, because it seemed underhanded (or at least the Argonian does).

Persephone is doing the Potema quests. Or was. But she doesn't want to live in Solitude. She is quite happy with her home in Winterhold.

haute ecole rider: John Henry was a steel drivin' man...

Acadian: Who can resist a pic of Sinatra Ulfar! biggrin.gif He did it his way, and it is definitely witchcraft. laugh.gif

Bright eyes came out really well, with the blue effect on the sword lighting up the line of Persephone's eyes so well.

Persephone always brings up a crop of warriors. Her kids will always know how to defend themselves.

Potema may very well have come face to face with Persephone in life (or death as the case may be). Given that Potema was a notable necromancer, Persephone would have definitely aligned against her.

Lopov: Hopefully Lucia won't become undead! But she just might become a necromancer-hunter.

John Henry is an American folk hero. He was a steel drivin' man who worked on the railroad.

Persephone will do some more Skywalking this "episode". But I don't see her ever using a lightsaber.

Never noticed those lenses before. Maybe they're somehow used if you do the vampire side of the questline?
Acadian
Very eerie shot of Persephone floating above the fray.

I very much enjoyed that whole Solitude/Wolf Queen quest series.

Well, Arcadia (no relation) does indeed have a point. Could be ataxia. I hear it’s quite a problem in Cyrodiil.

Aww, luvs Sofie’s pet fox. Surprised? tongue.gif

I never looked up to notice the source of Izzy’s vamp checking light – very neat!

Heh, Izzy does make it easy to befriend Serana. I imagine Persephone will befriend Serana – and help the DG destroy Harkon.

mALX: That was the Dainty Sload.

Skywalker

The Wolf Queen

Regicide

Alas Potema, I knew her...

What do you mean I look a little pale?

Sofie has a pet

I just noticed this thing sticking out above the main foyer inside Fort Dawnguard

It looks like a series of lenses or focusing crystals, probably for Isran's vampire detector

Taking sides

Skywalker = GAAAAAH! What is happening to Persephone? How is she floating like that? Wow! What an intriguing shot!

I really enjoyed the Potema quests and dungeon!

That is a very cool blade with the Daedric writing on it glowing in blue - I have seen one in ESO like that, but with a curved blade!

Love the shot of Potema's skull in the throne and Persephone's pose!

BWAAHAA! Is that the apothecary in Whiterun? She did the same thing to me, and I worried myself sick that I had contracted some vampirism or something; but couldn't find any disease in my stats, lol.

D'aaaaw, I love the side of Persephone that Sofie is bringing out!

I didn't know what you were referring to in the first of these two screens, but see in the second one - I think it is like how if you put a magnifying glass in the sun it will set fire to an ant on the ground below the magnifying glass? Well maybe they put that magnifying glass in the sunroof to fry any vampires who enter Dawnguard? IDK, but it is an interesting find, lol. Did you TFC or TC and fly up there to check it out?

I absolutely LOVE the kitchen in your last shot here, very inspiring job they did setting that up!

Awesome shots!!!

** Oh, is that the Dainty Sload quest? I thought the shady Argonian quest was a different one! I think I crept through the Dainty Sload to snoop, but can't remember if I did the quest or not; but I know I turned down the shady Argonian quest too. Didn't sound like something I would like to do.

I was never able to get the Whiterun house due to not ever returning that dragonstone to the Court Mage because that is the act that triggers the Dragons in the main questline = something I refused to do. So as much as I wanted the Whiterun house (but not Lydia) - I didn't do that quest.

I seriously considered making a mod to get that house without doing the Thane thing; lol.

SubRosa
Lopov: I think Potema was from the 3rd Age, since I believe she was a Septim. So Persephone was already over three thousand years dead by then.

I don't think it's Ataxia... It might be Death though! laugh.gif

I don't have a name for Sofie's fox. Maybe Foxie?

I am not doing the Vampire side, but the Dawnguard side. But those lenses might have been added by the mod I am using to clean up Fort Dawnguard. I had forgotten about that until now.

Acadian: Persephone is originally from Cyrodiil. So maybe there is a connection to all that pale-ness down there?

I thought it was neat that Sofie's pet was a snow fox, considering that their home is in Winterhold. It would have been weird if it was a regular red fox from that neck of the glacier.

I really do love Isran's voice. Which makes it a little hard for me to dislike the character. They did really well with the voice actors they used for the Dawnguard DLC. But I do love how everyone reacts when you tell them that Isran wants their help...

mALX: Persephone's floating Skywalker pic is from using the Ascend pose. Its one of the vanilla poses from the Puppeteer Pose mod I use.

I loved the Potema quests too. The first one had those awesome blue energy tendrils flowing around the cavern. And they both are great for bashing necros and vamps.

I think it is supposed to be some kind of Ancient Nordic runes on the sword. It is from a mod that replaces the vanilla draugr greatsword textures with the glowing runes. I have been using it for years.

I had to use TFC to get up close enough to get that second pic of the lenses over the Dawnguard foyer. The kitchen is from the Fort Dawnguard mod I mentioned to Lopov. The vanilla version was a torture chamber, if I recall...

I think there are several mods that allow you to buy the Whiterun house without doing the main quest. There is also one that allows you to buy the Windhelm house without doing the MQ either.

I’m with you – I think the Dawnguard is a beautiful questline for Persephone and can just imagine the kinship she develops with Serana.

The ghostly sword you gave Serana is a superb choice!

Woot, the headless horseman!
SubRosa
Acadian: TBH, I just love listening to Laura Bailey's voice. She is one of the best voice actors I have ever heard.

I had saved the Ghostblade from Persephone's earlier visit with The Pale Lady. I am glad I kept it. I was originally going to give Serana an ebony sword, but then I saw the Ghostblade, and it just seemed perfect.

I was wondering if I would see the Headless Horseman this playthrough, and then there he was! It is the little things like him that I love about Bethesda games.

Glowing Eyes rescued the Blind Priest.

For a blind man he can read quite fine.

Serana riding an invisible mammoth.

The B.O. Grotto shot reminds me of underground caves of Tomb Raider.

Serana seems hungry but I doubt Persephone had her in mind when asking the question.

That Spriggan's on fire!

Now which shipwreck is that? Is that Volkihar Castle in the back?

So Armstrong not only was the first on the Moon but also in Skyrim.

Looks like they're holding each other's hands in the swimming shot. Cute!
Acadian
I think BethSoft learned a great deal from the fantastic work of companion mod creators like Vilja etc and it really shows in Serana – she’s not there yet but is a massive step in the right direction for vanilla followers. And I agree also that Laura Bailey’s voice acting for Serana is superb.

Broken Oar Grotto – nice to see P&S straying off the straight DG path for some fun.

Spray – Oh noes! I hope that’s not Persephone’s blood? Does she even bleed?

Who’s hungry really shows what good ‘moms’ P&S are – considering that neither of them eat.

Aww, Shadowgreen warms my heart. I’m so glad Persephone has a friend besides her bony or draugry pals.

Heh, that matron certainly does look done up in Halloweenie colors!

Nice shot of Persephone sneaking with her trademark absorb health spells at the ready.

Flagman. One of her old friends?

Swimming. Must be nice to not really have to breathe.

Ice and Lightning is an imposing shot of Serana – even if we know she’s probably going to resurrect a chicken. laugh.gif
SubRosa
Lopov: I noticed the whole eye thing that Persephone, Serana, and Dexion all had going on. Everyone has to be unique!

Well to be fair, Dexy was not blind yet when he read the scroll. I think it is the second scroll he reads that makes him temporarily blind for the first time. I have not gotten that far yet.

That is the spriggan's natural color. It is one of those added by Dawnguard I think. It is not the Earth Mother, since that is purple I think. It must be the other one, I think the Spriggan Matron.

Serana was actually swimming in that pic. P&S were swimming around in the grotto underneath Robber's Cove. Apparently they over did it, because even after they got on dry land, Serana insisted on continuing to swim about 15 feet up in the air! laugh.gif

That shipwreck that Persephone was sneaking up on at night was the one on the north coast of Solitude Hold - Orphan's Tear.

Acadian: They probably did take their cues for Serana from the modding community. A lot of mods from one game wind up being regular features in later games. Like plants disappearing after you pick them.

Broken Oar was technically on P&S's path. They passed it on the way back to Castle Volkihar. But more importantly Sorine Jurard sent them there on one of the missions for her crossbow upgrades. She has an awful lot of those! ohmy.gif

I love Shadowgreen. Especially since Persephone has a Kyne's Peace spell, so she does not have to kill all the animals within.

Flagman might be Captain America Tamriel. wink.gif But I could be wrong. I can definitely see Persephone is definitely an Avenger.

Not needing to breathe makes it so much easier to get down into those shipwrecks. Especially that big one one between Dawnstar and Winterhold. Pilgrim's Trench I think it is called.

I forgot to mention before that Serana does not resurrect chickens in my game. I am using the Sneaky Serana mod, that has an option to turn off her reanimating. I also tweaked her a lot myself, and added some new spells to her arsenal. Right now she doesn't have any summoning or reanimating. But now that we have left the Soul Cairn, I am tempted to give her a Summon Boneman or Summon Wrathman spell as well. Either would be unique, so I would not mistake them for one of Persephone's pals, or regular undead monsters.

Gosh, it's been so long since Alise and I went down into the Soul Cairn!

I remember finding Arvak and riding him around the place. It was cool, but not to Alise's taste. Reminded her too much of the Headless Horseman. But we both loved Durnehviir. I remember we called him once to fight some bandits near Heljarchen Hall. Durnie then spent an hour soaring circles above the manor while the kids (all four of the vanilla adoptable ones) got excited about him and watched him fly. It was sooooo cool! I've loved the old guy since then.
Acadian
Fabulous shots as P&S (aka the Dead Duo) tear up the Soul Cairn!

Taking Sides is such a grand capture due to the look on Persephone's face as mommy and daughter Sisters of Cold Harbour take care of some family squabbling.

And Durnie makes his entrance! As a dead dragon, I'm sure he'll fit right in and make a great occasional ally!
Lopov
Love the chillin' shot! laugh.gif It would be good in the Caption thread as well.

Persephone found Arvak's skull - soon she'll have a new pet in Skyrim.

Reapers look more fearsome than Keepers.

It's Serana's mother. She look as old as her daughter.

It's good to see pics of the Soul Cairn, it's been a while since I did it, and I forgot about the battle with the dragon up until now.
SubRosa
Acadian: Persephone spends a lot of time taking sides with Serana against other people: her father, Isran, and her mother. I guess you could say Serana is a very polarizing person! laugh.gif Seriously though, one thing I like about the Dawnguard main quest is that its heart is a very dysfunctional family squabble. It makes it all a little more relateable.

Unfortunately summoning Durnevhiir is a shout, and since Persephone is not the Dragonborn, she cannot do that. But I did find a mod that adds a spell to summon him, and still advances the vanilla quest that summoning him is part of. So far it is working good.

Lopov: Persephone always finds every grave. That is where she is most at home after all...

I like Arvak. But unfortunately when Persephone summons Avrak to ride, Serana is left behind to walk. I found a mod that allows you to summon Avrak and then have a follower ride him instead of the player character. But that would leave Persephone on foot. Hmmmm, this has me thinking. Maybe I will create a copy of Arvak with a different name, and give the spell to summon him to Serana? But even if I did, how would I get her to use it when Persephone mounts up on Arvak?

I did some tweaking to both Serana and her mother's features. First I tried a few mods, but they made them both look too much like baby doll porn stars. So I went back and just tinkered with them slightly. I gave Serana a red lipstick, and made her jaw a little narrower so her face has a more triangular look. I already modded out the vampire butt-faces added by Dawnguard, so all I did with Valerica was change her face texture to the normal one, instead of the 50 year old one. I always thought it was strange that an immortal vampire would look old. I always thought her undeadness would make her look like she was in her prime.

Exactly.

Nice shot of the duo - undead and with sparkling eyes. And with the same armor, only colors differ.

Air support? Did Boomers somehow fly to Skyrim? Oh, no, it's Durnehviir, he's probably even more lethal than B-29.

The Forsworn couldn't decide which one of the three is the most fearsome.

Great action shot as Persephone kills the (I forgot his name) Forsworn. Did she manage to save Margret in time?

A movie promo would also look great as a computer background.
ghastley
i usually manage to thwart Weylin, but my first chance in SE was interrupted by Durak telling me about the vampire attacks, as soon as I came through the gate. Since dialog does not stop the action, he effectively killed Margaret.

And that after I careful delayed my arrival to avoid the vampires!

"Bad Day" would be a good "Where Am I?" - just enough to tie it down.
Acadian

I like "Glowing Eyes to the Rescue" here, nice colors in that shot!

What in Nirn is that thing? Holy Cow, is it in that place where you have to get your soul back?

Oh, coffins - must be part of Serana's quest, I haven't done that one yet other than finding her.

"Swimming with Serana" is probably my favorite shot - I noticed in all these shots with Serana that she seems to be looking at Persephone and in several of them she is reaching a hand out toward Persephone (or so it appears). It really makes it look like they are companions in a much closer bond than "follower" entails. Really great shots, all of them with Serana, but this one in particular stands out because she is both turned toward Persephone and reaching for her - and Persephone's blue eyes bring the shot up to the next level! Awesome shot!

Lopov: With all the vampire armor I have picked up doing the DG questline, I could not resist a side by side comparison of D&S.

It turns out Durnehviir summons Bonemen and Wrathmen! That was a big surprise when Persephone called him in at Valtheim Towers for some tac air support.

Persephone did save Margaret in time. It was a one shot kill straight out of the gate. Weylin never even saw what killed him.

ghastley: I have the Dawnguard talk disabled, so I have never had that problem when entering Markarth. I do get the impression that Weylin is "supposed" to kill Margaret though.

Acadian: I am liking calling Durn in for close air support while outdoors. But his drab green skin could use some improvement. I think I am going to look for some retextures.

mALX: I checked, and I do have a mod that allows you to buy Breezehome without doing the Main Quest. It is a nice little house. One of my favorite vanilla ones.

The Holy Cow pic is from the place where you rescue Dexion. The vampires are holding inside some kind of forcefield within those glowing standing stones.

Serana somehow glitched herself up in the sky. She and Persephone were swimming around in the grotto beneath Robber's Gorge, and Serana kept on swimming even when they went back on land. She kept doing that until I saved and reloaded.

I am using a mod that cleans up Fort Dawnguard. It makes it much better looking.

Descent is in Valerica's study, where you enter the portal to the Soul Cairn.

The Soul Cairn is a neat place. It has a really blighted, cursed look.

Durnehviir is the undead dragon you fight for the Elder Scroll in the Soul Cairn. After you defeat him, he talks to you, and lets you summon him back in Tamriel.

That is a Dwemer Steam Centurion in that Downfall shot. Persephone and company killed it on a walkway in Nchuand-Zel (the dwarven ruin inside Markarth), and it went flying off.
