I remember you and I talking about DII bowazons before. They were the original inspiration for Buffy the mystic archer. wub.gif I simply called her Bowgirl back then. Over the years, she’s lost the BigBoobs and RoundEars, but has kept her blond hair and penchant for using magic to enhance her bow and her complete abstinence from melee weaponry.

I continue to be impressed with NWN2. I think part of it is that the characters seem big enough to appreciate; they were always so tiny on the screen in BG.

Sephiroth looks perfect for what I would imagine a drow to be like – very nice job with her. I see she is a 2H user – and pretty good at it! I love the armor she’s wearing. It looks like nice mail with a beautiful surcoat/tabard.

SubRosa
Acadian: Most of the time when playing Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2 I keep the camera zoomed out, so I can get a good view of what is going on. So it really is not a whole lot different from BG there. Still, it does look better because it is 3d and not sprites on a two-dimensional background. I generally only zoom in close to take screenshots.

Sephiroth's armor is - or was - the Elven Chainmail Armor. I used the console to get it, and then used a mod to change its appearance. Now it looks more like the Neverwinter City Watch armor. I wanted something silver and grey, that would go with her skin and hair. The original Elven Chain was green, and just did not work for her.

Here is how I normally play the game

Sephiroth's Druid Companion Elanee's animal companion is now a Deinonychus

Of course Elanee can still summon a Dire Wolf

Thanks for more wonderful shots! Even not zoomed in, the game looks great. I’m guessing the companions are given to pretty interesting personalities like in BG? Yay, a clannfear dinohelper! Looks like a good team in action.
SubRosa
The NWN companions do have their own personalities, though perhaps not quite as memorable as Minsc or Viconia. Neeshka and Khelgar has a great chemistry however. Listening to them argue is a treat! laugh.gif

The SPOA Silver Knight Armor looks outstanding, but is just too dark for Persephone's white skin

Gosh, you are exactly right about that Silver Knight Armor – gorgeous but too dark for Persephone. Unfortunate, but a good call on your part. Her old Eesen Plate (??) looks great – sometimes you just have to try diff stuff to confirm that the old stuff may be the best. Anyway, I’m so glad to see her back and that she really seems to be connecting with you. happy.gif

And it is likewise wonderful to see Darryl again – what a great ‘couple’ they make. tongue.gif

The sun never setting on Persephone is both a beautiful shot as well as, perhaps, prophetic? Will we ever render SubRosa a monogamous gamer? biggrin.gif

The magic effects in Skyrim can be spectacular looking and your magic duel shot really showcases this. goodjob.gif

Aww, nice to see her being kind to the children of Kynareth. Since you mention Kyne. . . is it just me? Kynareth’s quest felt very ‘right’ for Buffy (Eldergleam). When she looked into Kyne’s quest however, she backed right away from it. Go kill a bunch of critters? Buffy wondered if it was Hircine masquerading as Kyne and gave it the ‘I ain’t gonna kill no unicorn or any other four legged critters just for sport/challenge!’. Sorry for the rant, just curious as to your thoughts. It seems Kynareth and Kyne in Skyrim are quite different from each other – but that doesn’t make a lot of sense. wacko.gif
Grits
It’s been neat to see the NWN pics. I love the dino looking guy.

Wow, that silver plate really is too dark. It also looks a bit thick in the legs compared to the Eisen Platte. In the middle of the night (seriously) I remembered another light plate armor that Valdi is wearing now from this mod, but I still think Persephone’s Eisen Platte suits her much better. It has just the right level of detail I think.

Yay for Darryl! It’s great to see him again. I think I know where they are. That’s where the naughty foks go to pick up an early set of steel plate. tongue.gif

Yep, and it looks fabulous in your game! Nice to see the young lady wearing it is still on her feet. I love Persephone’s new hairstyle. Spending a little time on her hair is a sure sign of new un-life. I just love this picture! Persephone looks tough and gorgeous in a slightly otherworldly way.

Sun never sets is lovely. What a beautiful pose.

Magic dual is one of those perfect shots. There’s a lot going on, all of it stunning. (Ha ha, accidental shock joke. tongue.gif)

Oh neat, the friendly skeleton! smile.gif

I love the colors in Kyne’s child. Frost colored everything!

It’s great to see Persephone’s undead life continuing!
SubRosa
Acadian: Even though I did not find anything that can top the Eisen Platte armor that Persephone is currently wearing, it was not a fruitless endeavor. I did find some neat outfits. That new college robe mod tempts me to fire up Aela again. Or perhaps a new College Mage. The Silver Knight, and some of the other armors, make me want to roll a new toon laugh.gif to wear them as well!

No monogamous gamer here! I am a total skank. But when it comes to Pesephone: "I can't quit you!" (Now I am trying to remember what movie that was from. Maybe it was Brokeback Mountain?)

I felt the same way about the Eldergleam Sanctuary quest. Though I did not like having to use Nettlebane to push its roots out of the way. Likewise, I never did Kyne's Sacred Rituals (or whatever the name of that other quest is). Like you, killing animals is not my idea of honoring a deity of animals. Granted, it was not killing real flesh and blood animals, but the spirits of animals. But it seems about the same to me. As you said, it sounds more like a Hircine quest. I don't think it is because of any implied difference between Kynareth and Kyne. Just another example of Bethesda's poor writing. If they ever wrote a Christ's Sacred Rites quest, I wonder if it would have you going around killing the ghosts of the Apostles to prove what a good Christian you are?

Grits: I love that mod Valdi is wearing. It reminds me a lot of the Berserk Sonia armor I linked to on the other topic. That one immediately made me think of Valdi. Maybe I could play Valdi someday, so I could wear either set of armor?

That was Ironbind Barrow. It took me a moment to realize what you meant about getting a suit of Steel Plate armor. Until I looked at the Redguard girl. That would be naughty! nono.gif She is such a nice girl. Albeit a bit naive.

The sun never sets was one of those occasions where the picture jumped out out of the screen and grabbed me. Persephone had just finished Ironbind Barrow, and found a stairway at the back that leads to the top of the mountain next door. She stepped outside in the soft glow of the setting sun, and I knew there was picture there that needed to be taken. I actually went through half a dozen shots before I settled upon that one of her with the spell lighting her face.

It was fun finding that friendly skeleton. I never know if he is going to up and walking around, or laying on his bier and 'sleeping'. This is the third time Persephone has been that way, and only the second time he has been 'up'.

I downloaded Apachii Sky Wigs this afternoon, and have been trying out some new hairstyles. I like the Wig approach because I do not have to edit all of the hairstyles into my Deadwalker mod. Adding hairs is a long, tedious process.

I have three styles I like most

The one on the left has a short ponytail that hangs low in the back, and is probably my leading contender.

I really like the one in the middle. But it feels a bit too Nordic for Persephone. That is probably how Hrafngoelir wore her hair when she was younger.

The one on the right is probably my favorite. But it clips through Persephone's armor in the front and back. sad.gif

Plus a few humorous pics:

Watching China Beach has also made me realize that the perfect actress to play Persephone would be Dana Delany, from that era. Just change her hair to white and give her deathly pale skin, and Dana is good to go.

I am totally looking at Apachi's Sky Wigs mod myself. I loved it in Oblivion, as did both Julian and Tallei.

Alise likes the braided styles, but won't go to the face sculptor in Riften to change her appearance. So we're talking about wigs. Do you have to use Race Menu to use this mod? I'm a bit confused and haven't yet gone there (or ECC, for that matter).

I think you have to use "showracemenu" in the console, as they're wigs as hair, rather than wigs as helmets, so you can't just put one on from inventory. Race Menu - the mod - enhances that process, but isn't required. The face sculptor just appears to be an in-game entry into the showracemenu dialog, so I'd assume she'd also have the wigs in stock. I used her once, just because she was there.

The mod maker talks about using showracemenu in the description, and about not having to use it in the description. That confused me too. But I found that you do not need to use showracemenu at all. I have been using them like any other wig mod. Just add it to your inventory and equip it, and that is all.

It is gigantic though. Over 2gig. I had to break it up into two halves to make .omods from the loose files.
Grits
Another option is The Hairstyler, which is what I use now. You use a spell to change the character’s hair and another to change NPC hair. Casting the spell and then exiting the menu without choosing a style reverts to the original hair. I can post some screenshots if that would make more sense. You don’t actually change the hair, you’re given an unequippable inventory item that is worn like a wig until you change it back or to something else. There are some white hair styles. I checked. smile.gif

I love Persephone is all of those hairstyles. Perhaps the ponytail for business and loose for relaxing?

Some of the hairstyles are pretty funny. Though I have to confess that the curly one is pretty close to Grits’s hair! (And I find more white hairs every day!) laugh.gif

Oh my gosh, Daryl’s other brother Darryl is awesome. He was still ghostly when I checked him out in the Zanimal’s game. Good grief, if Darnand meets this guy he will definitely want to turn into a lich!

What a pretty garden picture. I love that house.

Aww, Persephone sitting on the bed. That tugs at the heart!

I’ll have to put Valdi’s settings in the Character Swap thread to coax you to play her. biggrin.gif

ghastley
There are also a few hoods with hair. I think I saw Buffy wearing one from Ashara Princess of the Woods, but that's one item among whole outfits for both sexes. I don't remember seeing any "collection of hoods" mods.
Grits
I have zzjays and Grace Darkling’s Hoods With Hairs which I use with the esp from Hoods With Hairs – Crafting. (Meaning I don’t use the original esp.) There’s also this older Apachii Skyhair Wig mod which I used so that my female characters wouldn’t go bald under their helms and hoods. Not sure if there are any white styles. I used the dark and blonde colors.
SubRosa
This is probably a better discussion for another topic, so more than three people will see it! laugh.gif So I copied all the links over to the Face and Body Mods topic.
SubRosa
btw, if you are still getting the ghostly version of the Dragon Priest, it means you are using the old spell. It was actually a vanilla spell I added a Spell Tome for. I created a new spell for the fleshy Dragon Priest in the latest version of Undead Summoning, and changed the tome to teach you that now.

You can get rid of the vanilla spell with this console command:
CODE
player.removespell 10FC16

If you cannot remember the ID, you can find it through the console. Just type in
CODE
help "conjure dragon priest" 4

You will find spells and books for the old and new ones. You can tell which is which because the vanilla versions ID's will start with a bunch of 0's. My mod's version will have a two number/letter prefix.
Acadian
I agree with you on the hairstyles in that, for some characters, the SkyHair is too grungy; yet some of the mod hairstyles are too CosmoPerfect. The CosmoHair worked okay in OB but does seem out of place in Skyrim. Of your three styles (btw, the whitish color is purrfect for Purrsephone!) the long style seems a bit too perfect/cosmo for Skyrim and I would be concerned about clipping as well. I think a braid is both too Nordic and too girlie for P-phone. That leaves the first style which, happily, looks very good, appropriate and a real fine choice for her! goodjob.gif

Hee! My thoughts of the Felicity shot were of a white-haired Grits as well! tongue.gif

Wow, Darryl’s other brother is one scary dead dude! ohmy.gif

Puttering in the garden! Growing deathbell and nightshade, no doubt. Perhaps some more comfy gardening clothes might be in order? Aravi might have a spare furkini? hubbahubba.gif

Dead girls don’t sleep I guess, so what else would a dead girl do in bed? Do dead girls. . . well, you know? Maybe Darryl, Falanu (or her sister Necrophilia) would have some ideas? Or maybe Serana? wink.gif
SubRosa
Grits: I did settle on the ponytail on the left for adventuring and the loose hair on the far left for relaxing. Though I just found the latter clips even worse on college robes! ohmy.gif

I remembered that curly one was Grits hair, and Valdi hair! It always makes me think of Keri Russel first, and how her tv show tanked because she cut her hair.

See a couple posts back about getting rid of the ghostly conjured dragon priest. I take no responsibility for people turning into Liches!

I never even use the store room wing, and since Persephone doesn't have any followers or steward, she doesn't need the children's wing either. They could live with her in the main hall. But the wrap around deck on the outside they all make is really neat. You can follow it the around the house for sunrise and sunset.

It would be nice to try playing Valdi. She was always one of my favorite characters of yours. It took me ages to even find the old Character Swap thread. It's in the Fan Art section. I guess I would have to install one of those RaceMenu mods with numerical values, to get Valdi's settings right.

Acadian: Now we know what Grits will look like when she comes back from the grave to become an undead champion of light! laugh.gif

Even Persephone thinks Darryl's other brother Darryl is a little creepy. I think she is going to stick with Darryl instead.

No nightshade or deathbells in Persephone's house! She only grows child-friendly plants like mountain flowers, wheat, and lavender.

I cannot say that Persephone has ever met someone that sparked any romantic feelings in her. Just remembering how to feel at all is an effort. But she is getting there!

I'm always amazed that the thieves keep using that mage hood even when they're at the glass armour stage.

And someone needs to tell her that the armpit is poorly armoured, so no matter how confident she is in her anti-perspirant, it's not a good idea to raise her arm like that. tongue.gif
Acadian
Oh that’s right! With wigs you can change hairstyles in a second (instead of a minute or two via showracemenu). Having those two styles at the ready for P-9 is a great idea. She sure looks at home out there in the garden. But I see she can still smite evil pretty well. That bandit actually looks good in the glass armor. Good to see her out in the forest, communing with the trees and mammoths – luvs mammoths! I think that guard is confused – it was P-9 who used to be an adventurer. Now she’s an adventurer again. Aww, P-9 & Darryl playin’ mom & dad. happy.gif

Looks like she’s going to be enrolling in the College then? I love it when you overhear a bandit mumbling to himself that he should have listened when his dad said he should go to college; then laments about how was he to know which college his dad was talking about? Actually dear Paladin, there are two colleges in Skyrim -- the Mages in Winterhold and the Bards in Solitude. Though I suspect P9 does not consider that one to be a good use of her particular skill set. laugh.gif
SubRosa
ghastley: But her antiperspirant is strong enough for a man, made for a woman... wink.gif Unfortunately for her, when the Living Dead Girl is wielding a blade, nothing is well armored! laugh.gif

haute ecole rider: I certainly do not see Persephone becoming a bard! But so far the Mages College does not seem to have much to offer her either. I think her Restoration skill might be higher than that of the Restoration Master. And the only thing the Conjuration Master has to teach her are things Persephone has no desire to know, like summoning Daedra.

Oh, that’s right – the Bard’s College. You know, I have sometimes heard bandits trying to sing – something about elves and mead I think. laugh.gif

Yay, Persephone goes to College. As I said on another thread, I’ll bet she could teach that ward class! The Opulent robes look great. I went with the less fancy mod as a bit closer to vanilla. I see P-9 (and all the wizardesses in College robes) have the same problem as Buffy. I believe someone must stuff the front of those robes with linen wraps as I’m pretty sure all those mages aren’t really as busty as the robes make them look. Grrr- I wish the College robes would work with the weight slider. Oh well.

Persephone looks great battling her foes with magic – including the Big Bad at the bottom of Sarthal.

Hee! I see she found the Giant Magic Charus Egg! At least that’s what Buffy thinks it looks like. biggrin.gif

Wow, that looks like a big, but beautiful and even cozy home she’s building. Too bad we can’t rebuild Winterhold.
SubRosa
Acadian: Funny thing is, I think Sofie is going to college. The Bard's College!

I guess when Bethesda made the robes, they figured they needed some extra storage space in front for potions and soul gems. wink.gif Seriously though, I have never been thrilled with the way the college robes add an extra D to the cup size of the wearer.

Winterhold is such a great place to rebuild too. There is lots of extra space, not just where the knocked down houses are, but there is a huge swath of empty ground stretching out to the east. The other cities don't have much, if any space at all to put down new houses.

Great shot with the map – a whole province awaits!

Location, location, location – and right next to the College is as good as gets.

As good as I’m sure Pursemom is with that 2H broom, I note she still carries a 2H blade on her back.

On Sofie’s close up, I’ll take your word about the scratches – I never made it past her face – wow (as in gorgeous)!

Dem Bonez!

I guess Mom never needed any of that bright yellow hot stuff.

Uh oh. . . reading up on the Dwemer. Won’t be long before she’s conjuring golden space balls, metal spiders and steaming centurions! Otoh, Sofie looks outfitted as a warrior; that goes well with her Nord blood (I'm guessing Sofie's a Nord as I'd imagine most orphan kids in Skyrim are).
Grits
Old business: I don’t have the RaceMenu mod in Valdi’s game, so I can use the “three clicks from the left” method of recording her slider values. Or I can load her up with the mod and get numbers if that’s easier.

Catching up with Persephone:

Those robes are gorgeous!

It was good for the beginner students that an experienced warrior was there to handle the frost trolls. I expect that Persephone could teach Arniel and Tolfdir a thing or two about Nordic tombs.

Magic dual redux looks so neat. What is the purple effect on old Jyrik?

Persephemom’s house looks awesome. I love that open, spacious interior.

Grown up Sofie:

The Jarl should turn Winterhold’s rebuild over to Sofie’s mom. Her house really brightens up the town!

I love Sofie’s look with the skirt and her winged helm. Since she grew up seeing her mom in silver and grey it’s neat to see that she chose warm red tones for herself.

Sofie really is beautiful!

Maybe mom’s boney friend can’t be bothered to wake up for the living. tongue.gif

Reading up on the Dwemer, I guess Sofie has the advantage of two libraries for her homework. And Persephemom probably doesn’t threaten to have her torn apart by angry atronachs.

It’s so neat to see Sofie all grown up!
SubRosa
Acadian: The map was one of the first things I put into Persephemom's house. Handy for plotting out adventures.

There is a big space right there by the college with nothing but some ruined buildings. So it was the perfect spot for a new house.

It wouldn't be Persephone without her sword!

Sofie is definitely a Nord. Technically all the kids in Skyrim are exactly the same. They just change the shading of their skin to make them look different.

Grits: Hold off on Valdi. I was looking for the right character to wear the new Sonia Armor / zzjay's plate armor with, and Grown-Up Sofie has turned out perfect for that. Between her, Grown-Up Lucia, and of course Persephone, I don't know when I will have time for another character.

I was thinking that about Nordic ruins too. Persephone definitely knows her way around tombs!

I am not sure what that purple light is around Jyrik. It is not from anything Persephone is doing. Maybe it is something from Tolfdir, or some power Jyrik has?

I spent a while looking around for the right building to use. Turns out there is only one inn and one Jarl's estate. Since both of those were right next door, I didn't want to reuse one of those. Then I remembered the Skaal Village in Dragonborn, and used their Great Hall.

Sofie is definitely more of a warm tones person than mom is, having a beating heart and warm blood after all! laugh.gif I really liked how the Sonia armor looked on her.

Sofie cannot get into the College, in spite of her Persephemom's time there. So she sticks to mom's library. Besides, her mother has taught her all the things she needs to know. How to fight with a sword. How to summon the dead. What more is there?

Hate those ice wraiths! They're hard to see and even harder to hit.

I'm sure Persephemom has built quite the library herself in all of her travels around Skyrim. So Sofie should be good there.
Acadian
Sofie looks like a great character. Did I read you right in that she might become a Nordic ruins crawler?

M’aiq!

How funny about that guard’s line. Doesn’t he realize that there’s a new family living there now? Aww, Larry seems like a great guardian. Like Rider, my eyes were immediately drawn to his very cool looking sword.

Again, I’m with Rider on ice wraiths – they are hard to shoot!
SubRosa
haute ecole rider: Mom summons his brothers, Darryl and Darryl, so it was about time Larry got into the game as well. wink.gif His rune sword is from Runed Draugr Greatsword, which has been one of my foundation mods for years now.

It took me hours to fill Persephemom's library with books! And you can probably guess what that is on her desk in the lower right corner of this pic.

Acadian: Sofie has already found her nose in one Nordic tomb! Pics this post.

Those ice wraiths give me fits too. Their special effects make it hard to see exactly where they are, and they move so fast on top of that, that it is hard to hit them even in melee. It is nice to have some backup like Larry, or his brother Darryl, or his other brother Darryl in times like those.

A sneek preview of Sofie's sister - Lucia
haute ecole rider
I tried to make out what the book on Persephemom's desk is, but couldn't see much more than one tiny corner of it. So I'm left trying to figure that one out. Don't tell me - as I am an inveterate book reader in game, Alise and I will keep an eye out for that particular volume.

Alise normally doesn't go after the big predators, unless she encounters them attacking passersby. She's already defended Tsolgar the Wanderer, and rescued Ma'iq the Liar twice.

Those balls are cute! Are they the magelights? Alise has the spell in her repertoire but has not yet used it as she has good night vision and would prefer not to call attention to herself. She only uses torches to keep her hands warm, thanks to Frostfall.

Yngol is one of those bosses you want to take on with company. The first time through, Alise used her summoned Dremora a lot to keep him busy while she sniped from the edges. Larry looks like a good one to keep on!

Lucia looks gorgeous in a Goth kind of way! She certainly looks ready to write her own story!
Acadian
Is that perhaps an Elder Scroll that P-9 the Elder has on her desk?

Yay, Sophie, trolling for ice trolls. Nice of her to help those hunters.

Little blue balls to escort and light her way!

Yup, that’s a Nordic ruin alright. And Sophie looks right at home there.

Larry is very cool. You can see in Sophie’s eyes the welcome confidence he gives her.

Lucia looks very good – and dangerous. I imagine she will take quite a different path from her adoptive sister. I guess that’s the master vampire outfit on her - and it looks great.
SubRosa
haute ecole rider: Sofie and Larry have already rescued Maiq once from Ice Wraiths. She has yet to meet Talsgar. One of my previous characters was actually rescued by Talsgar. I cannot remember who it was now. Maybe Persephone. She was in Falkreath Hold, walking east along the shores of the lake. There is a bandit camp there between Shriekwind and the Guardian Stones. The bandits attacked her, and Talsgar was nearby. He leapt in and lent a hand against the bandits. When it was all over he said: "The life of adventure and song is the life for us eh?"

Those little glowy balls are a special treat you only find in Yngol's Barrow. They turn up in ever increasing numbers as you go through the dungeon, and follow you around. I have always loved them.

Acadian: There were four hunters in that battle, and they were losing. Iron arrows vs a Frost Troll is not a good match. One of the hunters had taken a knee and was just about to be troll food when Sofie came running up from behind to paste the troll with a power attack, and get its attention.

Lucia has indeed taken a very different path from her adopted sister. Where Sofie is light, she is definitely dark, and I wanted her to look that way. Though perhaps not in the most obvious way. I see her going the route of the thief. That is the Vampire Lord armor she is wearing, the red variant. I made non-magical versions of all the vampire clothing craftable a long time ago.

Lots of ES stuff on P-9’s desk. I hear playing with that stuff can make you go blind. laugh.gif

I agree with mirocu on Welcome to Dawnstar – Sofie looks fabulouso. goodjob.gif

What a fun tavern scene you captured! Glad to see the Priest of Mara has no probs lifting a mug. And the mage looks great in her opulent robe. Wow, where’d Sofie learn to pluck a lute?

Great action shot with light effects taking down that Vaermina minion. They do have cool robes though.

FraggleRaggle looks neat – I see Larry is supervising. wink.gif

Elisef, of course, ‘inherited’ her court mage from her late husband and I believe she would be imprudent to let her go. Despite her nocturnal habits, Sybille makes the most eloquent case I’ve heard on behalf the late High King and the Imperials.

I love those caravans. The Khajiit merchants are so soothing and comfortable to talk with. happy.gif

Fort Fragglerock?? Fragglerock?? Is there really such a name in Skyrim?

*consults UESP Skyrim map*

Oh, you mean Fort Hraggstad? The one which name I can never remember?

Fragglerock always makes me think of a bad 70's kid's show hosted by Muppet knockoffs with really bad hair and worse drumming.

And P9 - that's new to me. Makes me think of a fighter like the P51, P47, P40, or the P38. biggrin.gif

Already seen all of the sights in Winterhold, lol. Sofie and Larry are the sights in Winterhold! She’s gorgeous. Neat to see the skellies with Nordic weapons since I get to see the Zanimal’s Elven pals.

That ice wraith is beautiful. Unless I have a character who can spew fire, I am in trouble when I see one!

Due to recent events I think I can guess what Persephemom has on her desk. biggrin.gif

Lucky hunters. That iron arrow sticking out of the troll spells “We’re Screwed.” Yay for Sofie and her fire blade!

Lol, balls. tongue.gif They are so cute!!

What a great shot of the fight with Yngol’s ghost! Very nice!

OK, Sofie and Larry is my favorite Sofie picture yet. I already had a crush on Larry, and now I think I have a crush on Sofie, too. wub.gif

WOW, Lucia is the opposite of her sister! That is awesome. Is she dual-wielding daggers?

Sofie is the life of the party! She looks as gorgeous in Dawnstar as everywhere else. That’s a great pose, and her sword is beautiful!

Yikes, what a splashy end for the storm mage. blink.gif

For a second I thought the bandit king of Fort Fragglerock had the same shield as Sofie. That’s a killing offense!! But it’s just her colors. That’s a great room for a big fight.

It was Sybille Stentor who convinced me to change the eyes of vampire NPCs to look passable for mortal. She has a nice robe. I’ll bet it doesn’t show the blood.

Yay for the Khajiit! I love finding them on the road. smile.gif

mirocu: That Dawnstar pic was one of those times where I was just walking along and realized that this was a great place to take a picture.

ghastley: It is Skyrim after all, so tankards all around! biggrin.gif Just so long as it isn't Old Man Look At My Life, Sofie is happy.

Acadian: Well that stuff hasn't made hair grow on Persephone's palms. Yet... wink.gif

I think Sofie learned to play at the Winterhold Inn. The girl who sings there has such a screechy voice, that I think Sofie was forced to learn to cover up the noise with something more pleasant-sounding. laugh.gif

I always liked the Vaermina Robes. Too bad who they belong to, otherwise one of my characters would have probably worn them by now.

haute ecole rider: I cannot remember the names to many of the holds in Skyrim, or their Forts, especially the Solitude one. Fragglerock seems good to me! biggrin.gif

I will let Acadian explain the P-9 to you. It originally started with another character, who was E-9 I believe.

Grits: I think Sofie and Larry are the sights as well! There is not much happening in Winterhold. There is not much of Winterhold for that matter!

After the Dawnguard questline, Persephone was stuck with one of the Elder Scrolls in her inventory. Of course the game would not let me just put it in a chest or drop it. I had to use the console to remove it. So when I was designing her desk, it was the first thing I thought to lay there.

I created Lucia with the intention of being as opposite to Sofie as I could, and still keep her true to the character's background in the game, and of course from being raised by Persephone. So where Sofie is the fine upstanding fair-haired girl, Lucia is the skulking backstabber. I plan to go the Thieves Guild route with her. She is dual wielding daggers. I have not tried that since Eris (a.k.a. Rachel B Riddick)

Sofie's sword is the Gotland Sword from Chronicles of Steel. Hervor used the Atmoran Sword. So I am trying the Gotland this time around.

I am tempted to find a mod that changes the faces of NPC vamps who are supposed to be undercover. It kind of ruins the roleplay when they are standing there with their bat-face and glowing eyes.

All grown up as well, Lucia is reading up on Riften

haute ecole rider
With dual-wielding daggers and Golie the Friendly Gargle I'd expect Lucia to be more DB than TG!

In any case, she'd be the one to take that Maven down, and take over the TG herself! I can totally see that happening!
Acadian
Old news: For Rider (aka H-14). That naming convention is something we used long ago among Marine pilots. When someone had a long last name, they became known as the first letter of the name, then the number of remaining letters. We were lazy and averse to big words you see. The cutoff seemed to be around seven letters. We do a bit of the same thing here – you’ll notice once a member’s name goes over 7-8 letters, they get issued a nickname (DE, CT Liz, Rider/Haute, Kobby, etc). Ghastley’s one of the few who gets by with as many as eight letters but no nickname. King Coin (KC) at eight letters did not. laugh.gif

SubRosa – I love how Lucia and Sofie both turned out so differently from each other. It is clear that P-9 believed and likely encouraged them each to seek their own paths. Sad day at Chez Persephone as mom becomes an empty nester. Luvs mammoths (but you knew that already – happy.gif ). As with all things SubRosa, Goliath is perfectly named and definitely not a Larry. The combo of you your last shot and your title for it is chillingly epic.
Grits
Oh my gosh, E-9 was Ereshkigal, right? How do I remember that and forget so many other things?! laugh.gif Chronicles of Steel looks excellent, thank you for the link.

Riften bound, I wonder how Lucia will react to meeting Brynjolf. She’s already done an honest day’s work with her research!

I love the picture of Lucia with the map. She looks like she has some attitude.

Party in the mist! I like that walk along the side of the volcanic area.

Lucia and Goliath look formidable. He suits her look very well!

Blade across the throat, yikes! It looks like Lucia has reached the Rift. What a great shot!
SubRosa
haute ecole rider: If only you could kill, or better yet, discredit Maven and see her imprisoned. My characters usually have to settle with killing all the guards in her house.

Acadian: Yep, poor Persephemom is left all alone now that the kids have grown up and gone their own ways. At least she still get visits. I guess now she will have to pass the time by going out and smiting evil once more! laugh.gif

Goliath is of course from Gargoyles. Since I am out of Newhart names, I had to go somewhere else... wink.gif

King Coin actually has 9 characters in his name. Don't forget to count the space between words! laugh.gif

Grits: E-9 was Ereshkigal indeed, my Dunmer goddess of Death.

Chronicles of Steel adds a lot of neat, Viking/Germanic type weapons. The Berserker Sword for example, is actually an ancient Germanic weapon, developed around the time of Arminius. It was used in a sword and buckler style of fighting, that was incredibly brutal. What I did not like about it was the way it makes three different levels of quality for each weapon. I prefer to keep it simple. That is why I took the meshes and textures of the weapons I liked most, and made my own mod with them (and used the Norland Sword to replace the vanilla steel sword).

That book reading might be the only honest day's work Lucia ever does! I guess I will have to turn off my Thieves Guild quest disabler if Lucia ever wants to get propositioned by Brynjolf. That is quite a change. Especially since Persephone killed him when she visited Riften!

Nice to see shots of my desert, courtesy of E-8.

I happened to pass through Primm a couple weeks ago on my way back to Las Vegas from Barstow and it looks just about like it does in your game. I'm being too harsh of course but, honestly, I time my gas stops to not stop in Primm.

That is one big scorpion! The most common ones we have here are bark scorpions. They're only an inch or so long and pale yellow (hard to see); unhappily, they're about the most dangerous scorpions on the planet. Well, before all that nuclear mess created the FONV radscorpions I guess. wink.gif

Oh, and nice shot of E-8 rockin' and rollin' with her rifle.
SubRosa
E-8? I think you got confused by Grits' mention of Ereshkigal. Cyhiraeth would be what... C9? Twice as explosive as C-4, with a little leftover. wink.gif

Ouch, those poor people of Primm! That is how we Detroiters talk about Toledo. laugh.gif

FONV has mutant bark scorpions too. They are very common in some areas. They aren't the most dangerous ones in the game though. The giant regular versions are the King Stings.

Those are some big bugs! I like the look of C-9. She has very pretty coloring. Suits her name. smile.gif
Acadian
What was I thinking? Too many letters and numbers apparently. wacko.gif

Okay, C-9 looks great up close. I do like her pith helmet. Looks like mercenary/escort work suits her. Holy Toledo, how’d the Imperial Legion get into FONV? The new headgear is certainly stylish, but the pith helmet looks a mite more practical. smile.gif
SubRosa
Grits: Just be glad you don't see bugs like these in your garden! Radscorpions are an oldie, from the original Fallout 1 and 2. It wouldn't be a Fallout game without them.

When I was creating Cyhiraeth's looks, once I decided upon red hair the rest of it fell into place. She had to be Irish, so I set about making her look as Celtic as I could, and then picked a name to fit. I just wish I knew of a freckle mod for FONV...

Acadian: I guess after being kicked out of Skyrim, the Legion had to find someone else to oppress... wink.gif

I never liked that trooper helmet Cy wears with any of my other characters. But it just seems to work with her. I guess from the idea of simply keeping the sun off her face and neck.

Spying out something weird

Cyhiraeth puts her riot shotgun to use

Eat buckshot alien scum!

I found this suit of armor on the Nexus, and now I think I am going to try to play a cyborg character

I decided against that. It was just too exotic looking. But I did also create Kalaratri, a machete-wielding tribal type
Acadian
Spying – what a beautiful shot! The hat, the gun, the pose, the grass. . . all of it! That shot sold me on her beret. happy.gif

Sometimes it’s just hard to beat a shotgun.

Feeding the little alien buckshot?

I agree - the Seven of Nine Terminator 3 Cyborg armor is a bit too exotic. And surely there should be universally adopted sanctions against any modder who thinks that high heels go well with any type of adventure-wear. Or we could just create a list of armor mods we’ve rejected because of high heels – nah, the list would be too long. Grrr. tongue.gif

On the other hand, the outfit on Kalaratri looks great! Is that her motorcycle? *Closes eyes and hears Bon Jovi singing 'On a steel horse I ride. . . wanted, dead or alive. . . .'* Oh, and is K-9 gonna get a dog? wink.gif
SubRosa
Acadian: The beret does have it merits. I still do like the pith helmet too though.

Feeding it some big ole' 12 gauge, 4/0 magnum buckshot! Not just for breakfast anymore. wink.gif

I was trying to ignore the stiletto heels on that armor. But even ignoring it, the rest of it was just too much. I am still holding out on playing some form of cyborg character in one of the Fallout game though. There are a few mods that add things like cybernetic arms and such that might work.

Now maybe I will have to look for a rideable motorcycle mod too! Unfortunately you cannot ride them in the vanilla game. But I think there is a mod out there...

As I mentioned in the Fallout Screenie topic, I used the name Kalaratri for my Dwarf in Dragon Age Origins, so I changed my FONV character's name from that to Bellona.
