Aww, that's nice to hear about Dar-Ma and Blossom. happy.gif Chopping Mall! laugh.gif

What a great shot of swimming with the rat. Oh, and I understand Endre doesn’t use his lair anyway. I like Darryl, whether he looks all bony or like a druglord. The thing I miss most about SkyDarryl though is those beautiful blue eyes of his!
SubRosa
I have been thinking that Persephone's latest and (cross my fingers) final face looks a lot like Traylor Howard. She played Natalie on Monk.

mALX: I am sure Persephone was full of something when she was alive! laugh.gif

Acadian: I miss Draugr Darryl as well. I searched for mods that add Draugr to Oblivion, but sadly found none. sad.gif

That rat was sitting there in the middle of the pool swimming, but going nowhere. His legs were moving though, so he was definitely swimming. Sort of like a hamster on a wheel, without the wheel... That just demanded a picture.

Oh no, Persephone looks much better than Traylor!

I think Buffy has had her picture taken with that goblin before too! laugh.gif Must be the latest trend, Maxical will have to find the spot and pose with it too! rollinglaugh.gif

These are so stunning! The Jeralls are hauntingly beautiful. In game I could spend months wandering them; and did spend a lot of time looking toward Skyrim long before there was a reason to, lol.

Persnowphene! She blends in so well with the backdrop colors here!

Moonlit Mountaintops looks like that spot just around the corner from Dive Rock, where is she going?

Powering Up is awesome, but my two favorites are Jerall Sunset and Gazing Upon Skyrim; and I can't choose between them for a favorite.

What an Awesome update!

Poor goblin. Drank too much and got stuck on the potty. MALX is right, I do have a shot of Buffy visiting him somewhere. tongue.gif

Pffft, what’s a little snow to a dead girl?

Persephone showing off her sword at sunset is beautiful.

Nice glow from that spell. Those kind of shots where the light is provided mostly by a spell effect are neat.

Do it Persephone! Go back through Pale Pass! laugh.gif

And a very pretty picture of her under one of the moons.
SubRosa
mALX: Getting your picture taken with the drunken goblin is one of the things to do in Cyrodiil! Right up with visiting White Gold Tower and going to a wine-tasting party in Skingrad. biggrin.gif

Moonlit Mountains was in the opposite direction from what you were thinking. It was somewhere north east of Sancre Tor, between it and Cloud Ruler Temple. Persephone is slowly working her way east through Bruma county, so Dive Rock will be sooner rather than later.

Acadian: Actually Pale Pass is probably going to be Persephone's next stop. I last left her in the Countess' great hall.

But before Persephone can venture back into the icy cold Jeralls, she has a some business to do in the Arizona Wasteland.

I would have a lot of trouble seeing the characters in combat on this one, but it looks fun and funny! Plus I like that you can bring in so many of your characters - and what an Awesome job you did on Serana, it looks just like her!

Acadian
Yay for Persephone and Team Tamriel in the desert! What better BFF for Persephone than fellow dead girl Serana? And the grown up kids for some extra kick. Seems like a great team. Thanks for these great shots from the wastelands. goodjob.gif
SubRosa
mALX: I am not thrilled with the camera either. I wish you could zoom in closer to see your characters better. It would also be nice to zoom out more to see more of the world around you.

That is Serana silly! I just used a screenshot I took of her and cropped it down in size. The same with all the others.

Acadian: I was originally going to use Darryl and Other Darryl to round out the team. But grown-up Sofie and Lucia are much nicer to look at. wink.gif laugh.gif

A Discobot has Sofie in its sights (the Discobot effect makes it easier for you to be hit)

Slicer-Dicers, among the worst of the robots you will fight in this game, sort of like Deathclaws in Fallout

Acadian
Yikes, looks like Team Tamriel was besieged by mutant kitchen gadgets and food processors! biggrin.gif

Finally, Persephone brings out the rocket launcher to sort things out.

Serves those folks right. If they want goop collectors, they should have called Ghostbusters, not Team Deadwalker. wink.gif
mALX

I really like the exterior shots; the lower four screens - really looks like a wasteland I'd want to explore, lol. Those "Slicer Dicer's" look scary, especially attacking in a group that way and that big red circle! Whatever the heck went on there looked painful!

These are great shots, I know I couldn't play it because of all the reading, but I love seeing you cover games I've never seen or heard of before!

** on zooming in and out:

Yes, I thought that on those last four shots; that it would have been nice to zoom out and see more of the territory around them. But yeah, in combat I would die every time if I couldn't see the fight to decide my next move, lol.

But I love seeing you cover these games, I mean - I never would have heard of this one or Roman Wars if it wasn't for you!

SubRosa
Acadian: Rocket launchers are awesome in that game. It is always good to carry a few, just in case of emergencies.

mALX: There is a lot of reading in Wasteland 2! There is a little voiced dialogue, but most of it is in text. You can make the text area bigger to show more text, but you cannot make the actual fonts larger.

Yeah, I was having a lot of trouble in ESO with the chat box on my son's PC; it was too far away to read even with the text adjusted as large as it would go; which is why I went with the Team Speak - but as it turns out, I loved the freedom of the Team Speak, no typing or reading, and communication so easy. No one has laughed at my accent yet, at least not to my face, lol.

But I installed ESO on my computer yesterday, and on it I'm close enough to read the chat box - still like using the Team Speak better, lol. Typing is really awkward in the middle of a game, and there is a more intimate friendship that develops when you are talking to someone over the headset as you travel across Tamriel together - I love it.

WOO HOO! Persephone in the Wasteland !!!!! Awesome !!! She looks great, the hair is beautiful! And she is going melee all the way! My favorite has to be the Skyrim "Arrow to the knee" one, lol.

SubRosa
Acadian: It took some doing, but I finally got Persephone's new race sorted out. Making her face was really difficult, because the paler you make it in Fallout 3, the more color the game adds! ohmy.gif I even tried going to the texture file itself and making it black and white. But the game just added in a lot of blue color when I did that. So I had to tweak the color saturation of the textures I made for her custom race, and then again tweak just how pale I made her skin using the sliders in showracemenu.

I have been investigating the Darryl possibilities. I did find one mod that allows you to summon critters from the game. But it had a lot of issues. You summoned a critter by equipping a special item (a pair of glasses). Well because Persephone is a custom race, the glasses don't go on her face, and instead float in mid air beside her head. But the real bad part is that unequipping the glasses does not make the summoned critter disappear. It stays in the game world forever, or at least until it is killed. But if you equip it again, it summons another critter. So you can fill up the world really fast with an army of monsters.

There is another option I have considered. There is a ghoul follower named Charon. I could tweak him a bit and change his name to Darryl, give him some combat armor and maybe a super-sledge or some other two handed weapon. But I don't like followers in the ES games. They always wind up to be more of a pain in the rear than use. Just a little while ago Persephone ran across Dogmeat, the game's vanilla dog follower. She recruited him, and during the walk back home she accidentally hit him in nearly every battle along the way. And Dogmeat is only about two feet tall! So I think a human-sized follower would just be a zweihander magnet. sad.gif

mALX: The lack of mods that really change the game is one of the things that turns me off of ESO. One thing I love most about Bethesda's games is the ability to mod them into anything I want. Not to mention being able to use the console to gain whatever items I want to fit my character concepts. Playing a game the way it is straight out of the box, the way the developer wants me to play it, is a crime against humanity. wink.gif laugh.gif

Too bad about Darryl, but I know exactly what you mean. Buffy’s fox is ‘conjured’ by equipping a ring. Bow drawn, riding Superian, it doesn’t matter – if she equips the ring (hotkeyed of course), the fox appears in front of her. Another tap on the hotkey to unequip the ring and the fox is gone. Makes for the perfect ‘follower’ as the fox ‘appears’ and ‘disappears’ as if by a simple thought from Buffy.

More great shots of Persephone. I very much like the silvery sheen to her hair and the high ponytail style overall. Heh, as soon as I saw ‘Persephone’ and ‘disarms’ in the same sentence, I knew exactly what to expect. Yay for Robby the Robot! I always love the billboard shots from Fallout. Oh my goodness, when you said you found the perfect gun for her you weren’t kidding! Perfect indeed! goodjob.gif

I know what you mean. I have added some mods to my ESO, but they are only map and UI improvements. There are other things, but I've been careful because really not wanting to pick up a great cuirass or sword and then find out it is deemed illegal by the game; so I've stayed away from any of those mods.

Something I was talking to Acadian about just a little while ago is that in ESO there is no loading a previous save if you want to redo a move you've made - it is more like real life in that if you do something, think carefully and be sure you want to commit to that action because it can't be taken back - kind of like playing "Dead is Dead," but it is playing "Every move you make is made, so be sure you want to make it and live with the consequences."

What I did was start a second character to test out the stealing and stuff that I wouldn't want to live with my Misa character doing. Yep, I've pulled out my Bubba the Redguard character and dusted him off, he is in game robbing everyone blind in Daggerfall and having a ball as a Nightblade, lol.

I felt the same way as you do about the modding, about playing any multiplayer or online game - all of it. But what happened is that the game is so spectacular that what few things that are cons about the game are way more than compensated for by the pros - at least for me they are.

I have always wanted to see all of Tamriel under one game title and with great graphics - this is it. It is better than I ever imagined it could be for that wish that I had for so long.

So yeah, I know a lot of what you are saying; and agree with you on them. If I hadn't had a son that wanted the game so badly, and been able to watch him play it - and then him letting me start a character on his game and test it out - I probably would never have wanted to ever try it, and would still not have; to be honest. I'm just glad I did give it a shot, because I love it. Right now to me it is the best TES game of all time.

I'm not trying to talk you into it, though; it is a huge investment financially and in hard drive space on your computer; it is not a decision to be swayed into, but one you have to make based on your own likes/dislikes/and what you think is worth that kind of investment. It wasn't easy for me to fork out all that money and hard drive room (twice); I kept trying to just keep playing on my son's game, lol. It just finally reached a point where I knew I'd want to be playing this for a long time down the road, so made the leap - one month after I bought my son's game.

Persephone's hair is beautiful! But those shots with Mr. Burke had me rolling, rollinglaugh.gif

Is that a pool cue she is wielding? Wait, I've never seen that stash before !!! Where is it? Or is that part of a mod? It is so exciting to see you back in the Wasteland! I'll be leaving Point Lookout soon, I'm on my last quest there and then will be coming back to find Persephone!

By the way, I did something particularly for you and Acadian - or maybe I should say Persephone and Buffy - Maxical went to the cave and posed with that goblin in the barrel, lol. I'll post it as soon as I get caught up on commenting all the posts I've missed the last few days, lol.

Awesome update !!!!

SubRosa
Acadian: Being able to hotkey Darryl like that fox would be excellent. I would try to copy the script you are using, but Skyrim scripting and Fallout 3s are completely different. sad.gif

Persephone does have a habit of disarming people. It must be her disarming personality. wink.gif

I have been thinking of trying to tone down the brightness of her hair. At first I went that far because I was having trouble finding a color that was white, rather than grey. But I think I over did it.

mALX: Not being able to save and reload is one thing I immensely dislike about online games. Not to mention being able to simply pause the game. What do you do if you are in the middle of a fight and the phone rings, or someone is at the door, or the the cat starts demanding attention? I could not manage without pausing.

I would love to see that pic of Maxi and the barrel goblin! That goblin is one of the fun parts of Oblivion.

YES!!! I never knew that about online games till I played this one; it freaked me out when I first realized I was still getting killed after pressing the ESC key! You really have to get somewhere safe before exiting the game, that is for sure!

It is as much like real life as it gets, you can't pause it - I did not know that, and I've had to make some workarounds a few times, lol.

I love this "Sword fight, I've never really seen a raider attack with a sword, though I've been hit by a raider and found a sword in their inventory after they were dead, lol. I love this shot because it looks like the raider is running her mouth while she fights, lol.

That, and - really not sure what she is wearing, but it reminds me of that armor you get in "The Pitt" with the ballistic missiles on your chest, laugh.gif

Persephone blending in is adorable!

Oh, you managed to get an explosion on film! I somehow always miss the shot, and I have tried and tried !!! That whole bridge full of cars going into "The Pitt" - I set it off and spammed the "Prnt Scrn" - got the screens when I stopped playing and all I got was some black smoke, lol. Just not fast enough.

Holy Cow what a sword !!!!!

I love her sitting on the bow of the boat! That little business there is one of my favorite little spots; have thought about modding it into a little business for my game.

SubRosa
Acadian: When it comes to sword fights, there can be only one, and we know who that is...

All of the vehicles are atomic powered in Fallout 3. It makes hiding behind them risky, because if they take a stray round, they might blow up. OTOH, when you get a bunch of cars together, it makes the most spectacular explosions!

Not much survived the nuclear war. Looks like cherry trees least of all... sad.gif

Maybe we were importing the swords like the spices and toys we imported from the Orient, lol.

And yeah, removing the radroach spawn there should be easy enough. It would make a tiny living space, but doable.

I would like a useable boat too. I made one (actually 4) for Oblivion that had set destinations around the waterways.

If scripting in Fallout 3 is the same as scripting in Oblivion's it could be done easily if you want it for "fast travel" to waterfront stops. Or analyze the last part of the Point Lookout boat trip where you are seeing the trip itself, there might be a way to incorporate that cut scene.

OMG, Persephone took on a Behemoth with only a sword? Holy Cow!!!!!!! I am floored by this battle !!!!

That Raider vs super mutant spot has got me killed in the crossfire more than once, lol.

The Lucky Shades! Woo Hoo !!! They are a "must have" for me in every FO3 playthrough!

Urban Renewal looks like the rear exit from 3 Dog's place! (?)

Those poor robots never last long for me, probably because I send them out alone into the fray while I loot the office embarrased.gif I guess if I stayed with them like Persephone is doing it would be nicer, and they might even survive the battle ... sad.gif ... (sorry Robbie...)

All great shots!!! I especially had to love the ones where Persephone is taking on a Behemoth with just a sword, that is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

SubRosa
Acadian: That is so neat that some of the places like that metro station are recognizable! I wish they would set a Fallout game in Detroit, so I could point at the screen and say "I know that place!" biggrin.gif

mALX: I was hoping for a boat you could manually steer around. I did see this mod, but the boat it adds is really big, and the submarine just looks weird.

Good call on the Urban Renewal pic. That is the back door from Galaxy News Radio. I love blowing up the bus down below. It usually takes out all the ferals down there.

The robots usually don't last long for me either! Even when I try to walk along with them, they usually get killed pretty quickly.

I used a lot of stimpacks in that fight with the Behemoth. But Persephone did take it down with nothing but her sword. viking.gif

Oh, on that first mod - you can take his script and use a boat of your own choosing, can't you? I noticed in the screenshots that someone used a better boat than the one he used. I would have chosen a little speedboat or something myself, lol.

Did you ever try that Pirate Pelys Boats and Bait?

Oh, I'll bet Persephone had to use a ton of stimpacks in that fight, and with all those other super mutants around shooting at her besides the behemoth! That had to be a huge battle, I wish you had that one on a vid !!!

You've got a bunch of my favorite quests here: Getting the satellite dish for 3 dog; getting the Bobblehead at Arlington Cemetary; and the Nuka Cola company.

I love the meat from those Nikalurks! I really wish there were more of them in game, their meat is awesome!

The shot of Persephone standing over the grave at Arlington has to be my absolute favorite; what a spectacular shot! She really looks sad in that, how on earth did you get that expression! That is Awesome!!!

My second favorite is the nukablast of the robot, lol. I have never seen a nuka grenade in action, always saved them for a bigger fight or something - that is Awesome!!

Great update !!!

SubRosa
Acadian: The lunar lander is a difficult spot to pass up for screenshots. I always have to take one there.

Persephone always finds the graveyards!

The Robbies are a lot of fun. I love their voices, which always have words spoken off pitch and weirdly emphasized.

mALX: I don't think you can take that boating mod and use a different boat. I believe he did something with the .nif file to make it driveable. Though I could be wrong. I would like one of the little boats too. But I think they all automatically fill up with water.

I did try that Pely's Boats and Bait mod, and didn't like it. The merchant it adds is fine, but there is a weird dungeon filled with feral ghouls behind the counter (which you have to use the TCL console command to even get to), that completely turned me off of it. I deleted it.

The other mutants at GNR went down pretty quick. Persephone rushed them with her sword, and hacked them to pieces in no time. I don't think a single BOSer died in that fight. I did go through a ton of stimpacks fighting the Behemoth though. That was a close one!

Sadly, no nukalurk meat for Persephone. She cannot eat, or sleep, being undead. sad.gif It is one of the things that balances out the waterbreathing and rad resistance I gave her for being a dead girl.

The Arlington pose is one of the vanilla poses. I think it was LooseTTNPCSadArmsCrossedTalkA

That wasn't a nuka grenade in that pic with the nukabots. That was just a regular frag. There must have been something in the room that was explosive, because it set off a much bigger explosion that a grenade ought to make.

How fun to see Persephone’s team in Wasteland 2! I know nothing of the game but what I see here, but it’s fun just the same. Following the tortoise looks hilarious, and ‘Persephone’s boot’ made me laugh out loud.

OK, I know enough to tell Persephone went to a different Wasteland! She’s still lopping off heads (and disarming laugh.gif) I see. I love her look. She looked adorable when blending in!

I thought that somehow the scripting for the horses could be used for a boat. I wonder how they made that Starfighter mod, where you fly around and steer it and see the ground below you? I thought they used the horse script for that one, because it had the same motion as if you were riding and steering a horse.

I have Atom script reader so I can look at the scripts to see how they did that mod, and probably substitute a boat for it (but you would probably have to keep it afloat with your steering, and may hear the radiation geiger counter going tickety tick the whole time.

The problem for me is the set up of the Papyrus scripting. I have been able to compile only one script in Skyrim so far, one which may possibly conflict with another mod; and if it does I won't be able to fix the issue because I am totally lost in Skyrim scripting. It is weird.

This is one of those things that would be so easily done in Oblivion, but I don't think I have the capability to do it in Skyrim.

*

So on Pely's boats you never even got to see the boat in action? I wonder if there is a vid on youtube to see if it is worth the BS to get it? Maybe just look at it in the CK so you can get the info to set the quest stage to the end so you have the boat without the ghouls - or remove the ghoul spawn from the dungeon (or console yourself the ghoul mask)?

*

Did you kill the other super mutants before taking on the behemoth - and if you did, Persephone must be very fast! He always crashes out right as I exit that building in my game!

That is one of those fights that I would have given anything to see play out, watch on a vid or something.

My son is an Awesome player, I will never forget the first time I saw him do the "retaking Kvatch" - he was in his prison pants and sandals, no shirt and just an un-enchanted dwarven mace in his hand. He was hopping up on walls, dropping down and popping Daedra on the head with it - it was one of the most amazing moments in gameplay I've ever seen!

Well, I think Persephone taking on that GNR Square with a sword would probably tie it; it is exciting just to even imagine it from your screens!

*

I downloaded that Vanilla Pose mod when you first told me about it, and went through writing down all my favorite poses and their Id's with clues like "sit, stand, lean, etc" Well, for some reason I never remember about it when I'm in game!

So when Lopov mentioned it I tried to find my sheet of listed favorite poses, and can't find it anywhere. Turns out my husband saw it and thought it was scribbled nonsense, and tossed it, grrr. Urk!

I'll have to rewrite it, but this time I'll type it up so it doesn't look like chicken scratching to him, lol.

That Burnmaster is the only Flamer I like to use, boy does it look wicked in that screen!

Back in the first 6 months I was playing Fallout (when it first came out) - I had found the Burnmaster and was going around torching everybody - so right around that time I was driving my son to enroll him in High School and we get there and the mainenance man had this big thing strapped on his back that I swear looked exactly like the Burnmaster. So of course I hollered that out.

"OMG, he's got the Burnmaster!"

Well, a bunch of teens turned around and laughed, and they walked in with us. (and right afterward I spotted a Nuka Cola, a bottle cap, and a manhole sewer entrance. My son may have died of embarrassment, but I made a lot of teen friendsa that day, lol).

Hanging out with Abe is a great sit pose, I love that one!

This next shot looks like she is about to be beamed up (Scotty)!

Buttons! This is one of my favorite dungeon crawls! I like telling him that I am Thomas Jefferson, lol.

Oh, is Persephone going for the Fatman here? Great shot!

Yep! She sure was !!!!

Awesome shots!

Grits: Wasteland 2 is the best new game I have played in a while. It has a wonderfully twisted sense of humor. When you first find the tortoise it is laying on its back, flailing its limbs helplessly. If you flip it over onto its belly, it leads you to a stash of hidden treasure on the other side of the map.

The big gross thing is a Super-Mutant Behemoth. It is the nastiest of the Super-Muties. They used to be humans, but have been mutated by FEV - the Forced Evolutionary Virus. FEV was created in the final days of the Great War between China and America, just before things went nuclear. The Army's eggheads used it to create critters like Deathclaws with the intention of turning them loose within China's interior. Instead the nukes flew, and FEV got out into the world. That is what the mutants in the Fallout world come from. In the first Fallout the Big Bad named The Master used it on humans to create Super-Mutants, bigger, stronger, dumber, and more savage versions of people. The older the Super-Muties get the bigger they become, until they get really gigantic.

Acadian: I love that powdered wig on the robot too. So I always leave him with it. That is one of the more fun quests in the game, since he thinks he really is Button Gwinnet, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and that the British are coming to try to steal it.

mALX: There were not drivable boats in the Pely's mod. It just adds the merchant and weird dungeon. It is the other mod that added the way to big boat.

Persephone did kill all the other muties in the square before the behemoth came in. The encounter is scripted that way, with the BOS Initiate always walking over to the bus and getting killed by it when it comes barging in.

That is hilarious with your son at the school!

If you look in the screenshots for that mod with the too big boat - the modder or one of the people who sent in a screen had an absolutely perfect boat in the screen that they had substituted for that big metal tub, it was beautiful and had a steering wheel on it and a good view. I'd like to find out what boat they used; because they are using the same mod but with a much better boat.

That poor Mr, Handy is about to have a very bad day, lol.

"Hallo, someone there?" is my absolute favorite, what a scary shot for you to be playing with the camera on! Gaaaaah!!!!

"Disarming" the Mutie made me laugh, lol. Great play on words, lol.

Still Standing is another - I've been in that tunnel a lot, how did I miss the Nuka Cola there? I may have even grabbed it, but didn't remember it was "Jenga" stack! rollinglaugh.gif

Craterside was another excellent shot, you captured the feel of Megaton so well with that one shot!

Really love this update!

Acadian
Yay, a mechanical Darryl! tongue.gif

Heh, I knew exactly what was coming as soon as I saw the word ‘disarming’.

What a neat little precariously balanced. . . collection.

Wow, craterside really shows the shared influence between Skyrim and FO. That is, some of the Sky dungeons have that huge cavern type feel as well.

mALX: That Super-Mutant in the Hallo shot didn't even see Persephone.

In the past my characters have always taken the nuka cola bottle, which naturally ruins the entire bizarre structure.

Acadian: Mecha-Darryl is a neat idea. There are digital copies of him all over the Wasteland! laugh.gif

Megaton is a really neat town. It is built around a bomb crater, with a live nuke at the bottom. I can see what you mean about the resemblance to some places in Skyrim. Now that I think of it, the way the buildings are built on top of one another reminds me of Broken Oar Grotto.

Using melee weapons has gotten a little stale, so I decided to reboot Hecate.

But he could have walked around that corner at any second! Really scary !!! Oh, what bothers me is that I don't remember seeing them stacked like that, and it is something I am sure I would have noticed. I always take every Nuka Cola, but ... surely would have noticed it set up like that, because I live for those kind of surprises in FO3.

Hecate is back! That is so odd about those signs on the ground, how have I never seen them before? I mean the writing. It must be too dark in my game to read them, maybe I should lighten up my screen some?

These are Awesome - and Hecate looks a bit like Amata! (Maybe that Overseer was more active than anyone realized! Bwaahaa!).

Awesome Shots !!!!

ANNIE !!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !!!!!!! Is she in Minefield looking for danger? Good place to find it for a short time, lol.

Great shots, and so glad to see Annie here again !!!!!

A shame to cover that beautiful hair with a helmet. I do confess the raspberry beret is adorable though. happy.gif

mALX: Those signs and skeletons outside the front door to Vault 101 have always been there! You had better turn your brightness up, or maybe think of a new monitor. Back when I first started Oblivion, it always really annoyed me that the game was so dark. I could hardly see anything whenever I was indoors. Not just dungeons, but even in shops it was really dark. Then later I bought a new monitor, and my jaw dropped. It was like someone had just turned the light switch on in the game. Suddenly I could see everything.

Acadian: Foxes are indeed nice. And I like animals too... biggrin.gif

Annie is all about the hats. I had to import a whole bunch of different types of headgear from New Vegas to Fallout 3 for her to wear, and there is still a bunch more to go! She collects hats like other women do shoes... whistling.gif

Oblivion was way too dark for me too, even being in the Skingrad house felt like being in a dungeon, lol.

I didn't know a new monitor would make such a difference! What I had to do in Oblivion was turn the brightness way up on my TV for playing on the 360. On the computer monitor I've got it where I can brighten or darken it on the fly, so it is much easier.

But I have seen the skeletons and papers, just never been able to read what those signs said before! That shot was stunning to me because it was the first time I was able to read them! Imagine those people pounding on the door to get into the vault!

Seeing those signs reminded me of a friend of mine that went nuts stocking up on EVERYTHING for the Y2K scare - she kept telling me I'd better stock up too, or I'd be hungry and thirsty/unable to drive my car without gas, etc. (and that she wouldn't be answering any knocks on the door from squirrels who didn't stock up when they had plenty of warnings, ROFL!!!)

I kept telling her I would just come to her house right before it happened and hide inside somewhere till she sealed her and her family in, then pop out at the dinner table, Bwaahaa!

Well, by the time Y2K didn't get there, she had dog food that had got moldy in her garage, crates of batteries that were all dead, a bunch of missing soda that her children had been guzzling all along, and a bunch of wasted money, lol.

I doubt very much she would have barred her doors if Y2K had ever really happened; but it was really funny to hear her threaten it for that whole year plus - seeing those signs just made me remember her doing that, lol.

OMG, that first screen !!! I see a mirelurk that is about to be adorning someone's dinner plate! And is that the Shady hat I see on her? laugh.gif

Dear gods, is that a deathclaw? In downtown DC? Oh, I'll bet that is near Dukov's and the Enclave brought it in!

I was going to guess this one was the Bethesda ruins, where that flamer is always waiting around the corner, but then realized she was the flamer instead of the flamee, lol.

Thease are such great shots, it is really making me want to redo these early run throughs!

SubRosa
Acadian: That is Annie with the hat fetish. Hecate likes to show off her dark Greek mane.

I guess that is a tough pool hall! It is actually in a library, of all places.

The Fallout Brotherhood is a lot different from the Elder Scrolls one! Both are responsible for a lot of killing though. But for very different reasons. That fella in the pic with Hecate is a Paladin in fact.

mALX: No mireurks were harmed during the creation of these pictures. biggrin.gif Annie was doing the Wasteland Survival Guide, and sneaked into the Anchorage Memorial to hide Moira's spy camera. So no killing was allowed.

Good call on the flamethrower. That was in the Bethesda Ruins. Hecate found both the flamethrower and the Combat Armor there, and had to try them both.

Oh, planting the data recorder in their breeding pools? That is awesome! I usually get caught and chased out being beaten the whole way, lol. (but can't hit back).

On the Bethesda shot - it must have looked familiar because I've had my face seared off so many times right there, lol.

This next group of shots is all awesome, but I absolutely LOVE "Relaxing," that is fantastic! Is that at Grandma Sparkles? Who is the guy? That is a fantastic shot!!!

Awesome update !!!

SubRosa
Acadian: Those first three were a nice way to show Hecate in action.

mALX: That guy with the flamer in Bethesda has often been trouble for me as well. I bet the people at Bethesda are used to flames! biggrin.gif I find mines are handy, as you can lay them by the entrance to that room, and then down the hallway.

That pic on the dock is not at Grandma Sparkles. It is farther down the river, between the Anchorage Memorial and The Citadel.

Two stimpacks – Hecate looks so clinical there. That look / pose really suit her. Great shot.

At the races looks like a photo finish!

Red looks pretty competent, shooting over Hecate’s shoulder instead of into her back. What more from a follower can you ask? tongue.gif

And looks like she’s picked up another tagalong?

Woot! Firefight in Big Town!
SubRosa
Acadian: I was very grateful that Red didn't shoot Hecate in the back! The companions in Fallout 3 seem to be a little better in that regard than those in Oblivion and Skyrim. I cannot count how many of Serana's ice spikes Persephone has dug out of her back...

Buffy’s been very lucky regarding friendly fire. She tries to focus on scouting and sniping while keeping her party in stealth, but once the fighting actually starts tries to maneuver aside so any companions get in front. Her problem is actually more acute when it comes to making sure she doesn’t nail companions with that potent bow of hers.

Hecate vs Behemoth – at least Hecate’s got some distance to work with.

Quite the fireworks display she puts on!

Good vs the Bad & Ugly is a good way to put it.

Repairing the radio relay – I love Hecate’s ‘lab geek’ outfit!

DC sunrise is very pretty. And contemplative. happy.gif

The Doctor Lesko one had me rolling!! Especially since she is wearing his medical coat in the screen and how on earth did you get her holding one of his medical clipboards? That is a spectacular shot !!!

OMG, how did you get so close for that shot of the races - without being shot yourself? Awesome, I love that little extra there - and load up on the meds up on top of the dumpster there every time, lol.

Uh oh, where is Shorty? That is another great shot, catching the guns as they fire! And Red isn't doing too bad here!

Ah, there is the little complainer Shorty! Hecate looks amazing in these shots!

This last shot is a study in the difference between Hecate's facial textures and the vanilla ones, Awesome modded textures you have there! Is that the same one you sent me?

Out comes the Fatman, you must be a blast to watch playing !!!!

The Good = is that one of those guns you ported over? It looks wicked!

Ugly is most def a key word here, urk! I've always been too panicked to notice their faces, (or take a screenshot for that matter, lol). Awesome but urgly shot!

Holy Crap! What did you hit him with? AWESOME !!!! You really need to film your Behemoth fights, they are too exciting for snapshots!

OMG, you nuked him! Did he survive it? How do you get the screen of the cloud still engulfed in flames? This is amazing, I'm lucky if I catch the smoke aftermath!

OMG, is that the experimental MIRV or did you shoot twice? Oh, I would deafen the neighbors for miles screaming to see you play this game, this is Awesome! (though ... I would have screamed myself hoarse over seeing that sword kill last game you played, lol).

Is Hecate wearing Doctor Lesko's coat again? rollinglaugh.gif

OMG, aren't you afraid of falling out? Can you fall out there or do they have a primitive there to block it?) That is my favorite shot of all, believe it or not. This whole update was spectacular, what a bunch of great shots!
