Went gun shopping at Academy and saw a Taurus Judge revolver. It shoots the 45 Long Colt and .410 shotgun shells. Be a nice home and personal defense and yes Hickok45 made a video of it too.

And yes; I have seen that video

He even did the S&W Governor which is like the Judge but can shoot the .45ACP round. That's REALLY tempting to get but its like $700.00 while the Judge is $399.00-$475.00 depending on the model.

Perfect defense weapon and you don't have to worry about the bullet going through the person. Now I just need to figure out do I want the $399.00 version (short handle) or the $475.00 (a longer handle ). The 399.00 one won't break my bank but the 475 one fits my hand like a glove.

The other one is only $75 more, a small amount when you are already talking hundreds. It will take you a little longer to get it if you do your usual layaway method, but you will have the gun you want when you do get it! Be patient and go with the long handle is Khajiit’s advice.

Academy doesn't have a layaway, I'll have to buy it outright. I might get the 475.00 one as I like how the grip fits my hand.

I know that's been my FLW (famous last words) when I bought a new firearm but sometimes life gets in the way. However my finances have stabled a bit more so hopefully I won't have to sell things anymore.

Yeah the bullets for home defense in case of trespassers in vehicles and shotshells for when I go out in public.

Gotta love that versatility!

Yep . I love the idea of using shotshells instead of bullets if I'm out in public cause then I don't have to worry about shooting a threat and the bullet going through them and an innocent person behind them. The .410 gauge should be strong enough to drop a threat yet not strong enough to go through them.

Gotta keep watching my black powder supplier in case he ever gets that 1800s version. Need something for my concealed carry too, you know...
