Nice gun, Khajiit! Makes me wanna become a Murican Citizen myself

I'd recommend against it.
Especially if you ever decided to move out of the country again, because being responsible for paying US taxes regardless of where you live and work(and if you pay taxes there you can, and in most cases do, get double dipped on them) is a pain in the backend.
So you are saying if an American citizen moves to another country they still have to pay taxes to the US?
Yes.
I get a few bucks a month in interest on a savings account.
I have to file income taxes on it, despite not living in the US. It's called Citizenship Based Taxation and we're one of two countries that do it.. the other I think is friggin Eritrea.
Living in Sweden, I don't have to actually pay anything until I make over like 88k USD a year because of a tax agreement, but after that I'm responsible for paying US income tax.
And not every country has a tax agreement. Some you get double dipped on from the start.
I'm heavily considering relinquishing my citizenship over it. I can't get of course, or I become stateless. But being an American abroad is a real pain in the butt. I'm having a hard time getting a bank account, for example, because the bank has to report my account to the IRS. It's overhead they don't like doing. This also means I will have trouble making a retirement account, which I thought of doing after Mom died. Invest the inheritance type deal. Can't unless I use a US based account.
Grr.
This also affects "accidental Americans". Say you're born overseas but have an American parent. You have US citizenship, despite having never lived there. You're also responsible for income tax.
It's why I can't understand the trend in China to come across pregnant, give birth to get the kid citizenship, and then go home. They do it "to open up opportunity" later in life. Instead they gave them a tax burden that could potentially put them in jail if the IRS finds out about it.
Ugh.
Irritating.

Well its that time of season where a cellphone starts dying on you and you have to take it out side and send it to that phone store in the sky.
My cell phone died so I decided to put it down with my .22 Magnum, man I love shooting that thing.
Now on topic....
Why does this sound like fun?
