METAL GEAR?!?!?!

Yup! Well more specifically, Metal Gear Solid. Adored that game on original PlayStation.

I love Metal Gear Solid, other then Rising and the ACID series on the psp, I think I've played pretty much every Metal Gear game made. Also because of Metal Gear I think that was the game that made me fell in love with the Desert Eagle in which I always wanted one, then I bought one in .44 Magnum and HATED it! I sold it for a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag which got traded for the Taurus .44 Mag which got traded for the S&W 500 which is where we are today .

You know, Khajiit has actually only played MGS and MGS2. For some reason he never played the last few. Well, he doesn't know why he didn't play MGS3, but he definitely knows he didn't play 4 because he didn't own a PS3. Since he hadn't played 3 and 4, he didn't play 5. Hmmm, maybe one day he should rectify that...

Change of plans: I'm more leaning towards the Umarex Colt SAA (pellet gun) och the M&P 40 (BB gun). They look really nice and the reviews on them look very promising

The SAA uses cartridges that you load up with pellets and then load into the gun as normal. The M&P has blowback with strong springs and last shot hold open feature.

Got my conceal carry weapon again AND this time this will be the last gun I'll buy. My gun is a Taurus .357 Magnum.

Reaper, good choice! Mine is a Taurus .357 Magnum as well. 'Cept it has a 4" barrel.

I've always had a thing for Taurus's, actually my second hand gun I ever owned was a .357 Taurus with a 6 inch barrel and held 7 shots, that was a sweet shooting handgun.

You should have seen this shotgun Academy had, it was a 12 gage but look like an assault rifle, it was even magazine feed AND you can buy a drum for it and the gun itself was only $499.00 .

Oh there is one thing I saw over at Academy that kinda grinds my gears. They had a S&W 500 (two to be exact except one had a different muzzle break on it then mine had) that was the exact same one as I have only this one was $899.00---mine was $1080.00---yeah not very happy about that. However I did get to gloat about owning one to a couple of people who where looking at so that made me happy .

Took my 500 to the range with my dad and it happened again I got to gloat over my 500 with two of the shooters there. They asked me how does it handle and I pretty much told them it depend on the type of ammo you're using but over all if you can handle a .44 mag the S&W 500 is pretty much a pussy cat---unless you put in ammo in it that has a FPS over 2000 then the gun will start to rattle you a bit.

Well, at least I reckon it won't knock your whole body around like a powerful rifle can

I've fired a .308 Win. and 30-06 both of those where pretty beefy rifles...and loud.

.308 is something I've never touched. Had a 9,3-62 before getting the .30-06 though.



So, tell me. Did you aim at the clouds after every shot with the .500?

Nope---Honestly my 500's heavy enough and with that 8 inch barrel with the bullets I shoot with, the recoil is even with the .44 Magnum. Now my more expensive rounds I have for it have a FPS muzzle velocity of 2075, those hurt as I can only shoot two times with it before my hand begins to hurt and that's even with shooting gloves.

Went to a gun store today and two things:
1: I got to hold an Uzi and not I won't be getting this as it was $2400.00 well beyond my spending limit.

2: I bought a bandoleer for my 500. Now I have something to carry it in and show it off.

3. You sold your .500, your car and your least favourite sibling and got the Uzi anyway

Not by a long shot, the mini Uzi is $2400.00 dollars well beyond my budget, I have a better chance at getting a Vector Kriss then I do a mini Uzi .

I'm a simple bird; I would just love me an MP5.

The Century Arms C-93 is pretty close to an MP5 but the one I had I didn't like. Maybe if I could have replaced the magazines and gave the gun a really good cleaning, it might have been a decent gun but as it was I gave it back to the gun shop and bought an AR-15 instead.

Well, as I won't be able to ever get me greasly mitts on an MP5 I have just ordered a 36 caliber Allen & Thurber pepperbox instead. An interesting weapon that even if it's old and uses black powder, still has capabilities as a defensive weapon even today.


Two birds with one stone, much as I hate to say it..

Been shooting The Big Gong self "healing" target and it works and it don't. Depending on the ammo it'll either penetrate the gong or get stop all together, so far its been able to handle my .38spl, .357 Magnum and my 500 fairly well. My dad's .22cal and my 17 HMR seem to go through it. Still its nice to have to shoot at.

With fast rounds that target is no fun. My .22LR makes it swing as if it was an amusement park ride, but with my .30-06 it barely moved. Goes through too fast for it to react.


But I do like these targets

It's a .31 caliber though and not a .36, the website got it wrong. But it's ok, it's still a sixshot


Didn't get the powder measure as I was promised so I have to get back to the guy on that.

Well I'm parting with my 500 today, I got to own my first 50 cal. but in all I have no real reason to keep it so I'm probably going to trade it for either an AK-47 (WASR-10) or something more interesting, I'll post the image of my new gun as soon as I get it.

A BULLPUP!!! Aw man Khajiit would love to have that!

Wow. Those Bullpup's look so weird and futuristic.

Although it's used it shoots great and strips easily, basically if you can strip an AK-47 (or WASR-10) this gun is cake. Also the iron sights I bought for it can flip down and spring up so I can either use a scope or the iron sights. Man if I would have joined the military now rifle training would be passed with flying colors.

Khajiit fell in love with bullpup rifles when he played Metal Gear Solid. That FAMAS was badass!

The only FAMAS I've seen in my life was an airsoft rifle it was pretty cool but expensive at the time. Originally I was going to get my father a collectors Mark 4 .22 cal from Ruger but I couldn't get more the 750.00 so it was either going to to be an AK-47 (honestly I liked that rifle) or this bullpup rifle and since this fires the same round I got that one instead.

Your SKS Bullpup is a sharp lookin gun for sure! Khajiit would hang onto that as it should be really good for home defense due to the bullpup' compact nature. Just have to be mindful of through and throughs.

I really like this one but I'm not gonna praise it when there's a good chance it's gone in 60 seconds days


But seriously, nice one. If only I could get unregistered evil assault rifles like that
