Yeah, it's a very cool looking rifle and I wouldn't mind getting it. It has been ok'd for hunting purposes here although some local police stations have made a practice of denying licenses on account they think it looks too military. Now, what they think is irrelevant as the rifle has been greenlit by the agency who decides these things, but courts do have a tendency to go along with what the police say, even if it's completely wrong and has no support by the law.
It would be the closest I could come to an AR-15 so yeah, wouldn't mind getting it at all if I wasn't maxed out.

Ugggh, that sucks! So arbitrary. If safety is the concern, why does it matter if a person owns one gun or 10?

Indeed.
As usual there is no logic involved here, only people in suits who haven't even seen a real gun much less know that they are not the issue. And as someone who is already been approved for any gun at all, why is there a limit to how many I can have other than the contents of my wallet?
Who knows, maybe I could get this rifle and use a species the .223 is designed for as that specific reason. But as it is it'll have to wait. I have another gun safe to purchase now, plus that S&W M&P40 CO2 replica..

They might, but it's not on the table anytime soon anyway. Said contents in said wallet provides the first obstacle..

Plus, I really want that M&P 40 replica and I also need to test shoot the pepperbox I got earlier this year. And now that I have a job I probably can't escape from, my time to play around has been severely limited.

I still haven't fired my AK...I NEED to fire it!!! You simply can't own an AK-47 without taking it to a gun range and shooting it. I wish I lived further out in the country with barely any neighbors around and had a yard like Hickok has or my Brother in law.

You could just throw out a few tin cans from your balcony and have at them. I'm sure nobody would complain. Well, at least I doubt they would show up in person to complain...

Edit: I have looked up more on the Benelli MR1 Argo and it turns out it uses a standard AR-15 mag, and I know where I can buy a 42-rounder! Now I really want to get this gun!!!

Problem 1: I'm maxed out at four guns
Problem 2: Even though this gun has been greenlit by the proper authority, every application on it
will be turned down by the police who are the authority who issues licenses. At least for now, the debate is still going on. If the first authority also issued licenses I could have this gun within two months.

I know he's done video on guns I've own like the Kriss Vector and S&W 500 with the latter being a regretful buy, sure it's the king of handguns but it shot and handled like a .44 Magnum Ruger Super Blackhawk and honestly I couldn't tell the difference and didn't know why people on YouTube where wining about its recoil, even my expensive rounds didn't hurt that bad, yes it was jarring and hurt after a couple of rounds but my least expensive rounds shot just like a .44 Mag.

Is the barrel chrome lined? Khajiit read that some of those old Soviet designs included chrome lined barrels for greater resistance against corrosive ammunition.

Not sure if it is chrome lined seeing it being an American made model, still the fun with these types of rifles is striping them and cleaning them

My Dad and I decided to sell the Charles Daily 12 gage we had and will probably be looking for a single shot or a double barrel shotgun. No it was a pump but for some reason the feeder wouldn't grab the shell to eject it and load the next round. The next shotgun would probably be the single shot 12 gage we saw at Walmarts for $99.99 .

Yeah, that's something novice shooters often overlook. They want a light gun as a defensive weapon but don't consider the fact that lighter guns produce heavier recoil. I think the reason I experienced my pump-action having a recoil slightly below the .30-06 is because it has a 28" barrel. Someone just said a 1oz slug actually is worse than a .30-06.

Reminds me of people like Hickok saying how the S&W 500 was this powerful beast of a gun with unmanageable recoil, then I go buy one to find out my Rugar Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum had worse recoil then the 500 did, well as long as I used the inexpensive rounds. Now the more expensive Hornady rounds let you know you where shooting a 500 but those WHERE hunting rounds meant for wild boars and other tougher large game. I might try to buy a 500 again once my car is paid off, either that or buy another .44 Magnum both are pretty much on equal terms as far as I'm concern.

I was talking to my Dad one day thinking if I was to buy another powerful magnum to either re-buy the 500 or just get another .44 Mag and when you really think about the .44 Magnum is probably the better of the two cause like I've said, the 500 was only noticeable when I used the hunting rounds and the plain ones felt close to what a .44 would feel. So in conclusion IF I did decide to buy another powerful magnum I'll probably just buy the .44.

I thought about a foregrip too, but decided against it.
What I have read is that it can be detrimental to your shooting form, because it is moving your hand farther away from the barrel. They came into use on modern AR-15s because people often have equipment mounted on their barrel, which prevent you putting your hand on the barrel. Or they have a light built into the foregrip. Or they have a backup sight mounted at a 45 degree angle. The foregrip helps with twisting the gun to use the second sight.
There seem to be a lot of people for and against it. A lot of it seems to boil down to what you personally find the most comfortable. So if the grip feels right for you, it is the thing to do.
