Well I can officially completely strip my new rifle down, clean it and re-assemble it, I took the plunger and gas system out to clean it and it was in pretty good shape for a used rifle, only the bolt and firing pin looked like they haven't seen a cleaning rag in years. I am going to buy a bullet deflector for it which is dirt cheap and probably a fore-grip for it in the near future.

Bought a fore grip for the new rifle, As soon as I can I might upgrade that to one that holds a flashlight: Bullpup SKS/w grip.

Kind of weird. This one has a sort of... anxiety, for lack of a better term, about going gun shopping. Not sure why.

I call it more excitement rather then anxiety . Now they do make SKS's that like a regular rifle and is wood and metal but has the same magazine, bolt and action like mine does.

Yeah, Khajiit wants one of the traditional ones. He has seen that you can buy conversion kits that will make them a bullpup.

That's still an awesome looking rifle and like you said you can find conversion kits to make it into a bull pup. As for striping and cleaning it goes, it's mind numbingly easy, basically if you can strip an AK-47 this gun is no different, it just has a few more parts to it but still strips the same .

Yeah Khajiit likes the look of it. It's kind of retro but still looks modern. Khajiit guesses? Anyway, this one has watched videos on stripping and cleaning them

SKS sighting at one of the local gunshops! Khajiit was talking to a guy who was shopping there for a Springfield M1 and this one asked him if he saw any SKSs. The guy said they had several! Khajiit loves options!

Options are nice . Don't know if I'm going to buy anymore firearms or not, I got a really nice rifle and my .357 magnum snub nose is good for pretty much what I need it for. I still could probably get another .44 Magnum either the revolver or a Henry Rifle like I've seen at Big Boys or just be happy with what I got which I am.

Yeah you've got the basics covered. Home defense and personal protection! You could even hunt with the bullpup if shtf.

I think on hunting with a simi-auto, you can't have a fully loaded magazine and can only have two bullets in it, then again I don't hunt...but my Brother in law does.

I always go hunting with a full mag, not because I need it but because it only holds four rounds anyway and who knows if I encounter a bear or hog?

Edit: We do have that "two rounds in mag only" thing about shotguns though. Don't ask me why

It is and it makes no sense. I can have a total of five rounds in my rifle but not a total of five in my shotgun?

Well my SKS shell deflector came in and guess what it no fit my rifle . Its probably meant for the regular SKS and not the bullpup one so if Khajit needs a shell deflector for his SKS just PM me and I'll mail it to you .

Welp, went to the place this one thought for sure would have an SKS. No dice. Called another place Da suggested and the guy said they had some but when we got there all they had were 3 AKs. Disappointing day so far. Going to make some phone calls and see if Khajiit can find anybody in this town who even knows what he is asking for.

If I went to a gun shop and all they had were some AK's they would actually sell to me then and there, I'd buy them so fast they would barely even notice they got paid!

Well they had lots of other crap too, ARs and what not, but Khajiit doesn't need an assault rifle like that! They were wanting 700 US dollars for the cheapest of the AKs. It was a decent looking gun that this one is sure anyone would be proud to own. It's simply not what Khajiit is looking for.

Yeah, but you at least have the luxury of being able to say that

Imagine if you will a nice, cool summer evening. The grill is cooking, buddies arrive in their trucks and the range is all set up. And before dinner; a mandatory cleansing of the air by firing a gun of your choice; AR, 1911, .357 and perhaps a vintage Colt .45 from back in the day. And then, it's off to the table for some eating and talking until it's way past sunset.

I know in America you want to avoid states or cities like California, New York, Maryland, Washington or basically ANY state that's controlled by Democrats or Liberals as they have near illegal gun control laws. That's why states like Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas are so great, I can buy whatever I want...well except for fully automatic weapons but I think I can get a special license to actually buy one in Oklahoma but I have to agree to ATF inspections.

The new firearm is a Kriss Vector .45 ACP, it's also in picture 2 in front of the bullpup. It's about as close to a SMG or Machine pistol I'm going to get.
