It doesn't say so on the perk, but when she isn't trying to write that book she has more time to study up on her repairing skills; meaning she'll be able to repair your armor and weapons much higher now - in fact, she is the highest in the vanilla game other than Haley's Hardware in Point Lookout; whose skills raise up each time you come to him till they reach 100.

But now if you approach Moira she will moan and sigh about how she has so much time on her hands and how brahma dung is her life now, lol. I just cut her off mid sentence, because it was always well worth that perk to crush her dreams, lol.

Aw, Dukov was fun, too bad. He gives you the key if you order him to, I never kill him; only because I like to stop in there and have him offer me a drink and talk a while.

I had to brighten these two shots, they were very dark at first. Yeah, Dukov has, actually had, two girls to keep him entertained, Cherry and Fantasia. Fantasia is the one in the last shot while Cherry can be seen in the "Dukov pic" on his right. They went hostile at first when their sugar daddy was killed but they calmed down later on.

@mALX - well, Deeno drank a bottle of wine together with Dukov too and got some more insight into his dealings with Crowley. But afterwards he couldn't resist a good kill.

I hope he gives Crowley the same treatment, lol.

He already decided to. But he'll make sure to get paid first.

And then will he go get the armor himself? YES !!!!

Deeno did it, he crushed Moira's dreams! (which I guess is not quite as bad as nuking her! )

But after the captive offered Deeno a possible reward...

The reward was useless - 12 shotgun shells but the captive ran away too fast for Deeno to demand more.

A few steps further he had a showdown with two Super Mutants - he killed one and disarmed the other one, fortunately the disarmed one was not clever enough to pick up his late friend's weapon. Deeno can be seen walking on the lower sidewalk.

They do, kind of. But if you have the "Animal Friend" perk they make a purring sound and roll on the ground under your feet like they want you to rub their bellies, it is adorable. It has gotten where I hate to kill them even when the perk is not in effect unless they are attacking me, because I know how sweet they can be. Which makes it tougher on my character, since their meat has some amazing healing/protective properties that are very needed out in the wasteland.

The second on the list to kill for Mr Crowley, was Dave, an ex-merc and self proclaimed president of the Republic of Dave. Deeno made sure that Dave lost the elections and thus left his Republic.

As Dave was far enough, Deeno was ready to "sing his sniping song."

However, his bullet missed Dave, alerting the ex merc to the danger behind.

But in the end the rebel killed the President and took a special key from his body, adding it on a keyring alongside Dukov's.

I have no idea who Dave is, but I'm sure Cho will meet him soon.

Deeno rigged the elections against President Dave. I always do that too. But not to get him killed!

He would kill him back in the Republic if his weren't for his wives and children. So at least he spared them of seeing their unpopular husband father getting killed in front of their eyes.

Deeno has yet to test it but I think that it instantly cripples any enemy except robots and causes a minor poison damage.

I wonder if it was a headshot or not myself, it's still possible for heads to be intact if a hit isn't critical.

Nope, Ol' Painless is in Dave's safe, his wife Rosie gave it to Deeno after he made her the new President but he doesn't have a need for a hunting rifle.

Deeno ran off the superheros! I actually thought about doing that the last time I was there with Persephone. But I always enjoy watching the show too much to interrupt!

After swearing loyalty to the AntAgonizer, the Mechanist and his army of robots attacked!

Deeno stayed behind because the AntAgonizer and her ants didn't need any help in fending off the attack.

When it seemed that the AntAgonizer has won, she was turned to ash by one of the Mechanist's pets.

It was up to Deeno to make the final shot.

GAAAAAAH. did the superheroes run away or did Deeno kill them? The shot where Deeno is killing the ants is my favorite because I thought it was funny how the Antagonizer just stood there watching as her army got slaughtered, lol.

What does the town do when you attack them? Does it fail the quest?

They managed to escape as you can see in the next batch of screenies and later on they dealt with each other with Deeno being just the observer.

The quest started automatically as soon as the super heroes were gone.

Neat, the Mechanist invaded the Ant-Agonizer's lair! I have never sworn loyalty to her, so have never had that happen. I didn't even realize it was an option!

Wow, both Anty and Mechboy were killed in the fight. That is just too easy for Deeno! I was expecting it to end with him shooting Anty in the back.

HOLY COW!!!! I have never ever done this quest this way! Did Deeno get either their special armor or their special weapons?

These were amazing shots, and the second time you have taught me a new way to do a quest! It is really cool to hear/see how other people approach these quests; between you and SubRosa I've tried several different angles on quests.

@SubRosa - I had no idea myself that swearing loyalty to the AA will cause her lair to be attacked by the Mechanist. According to the wiki, this quest has a lot of possible ways to solve it.

@mALX - he could loot armor from their corpses but he prefers his sturdy leather outfit more.

Nope, he didn't get her dagger and I'm quite sure that it wasn't on her body. Maybe it's scripted to be given as a reward if you side with her but because she died prematurely, it couldn't be obtained.

Yes, us Aussies may be a million miles away from America but it amazing how much we follow their sports. A guy a work was always talking about the 'Triple Crown line' and the old days of Kings hockey. He was a huge Gretzky fan and had a baby when Wayne went there. Kopitar, yes, yes, very good player.

I clicked on the link to Slovenia. It says that it is mountainous and covered in forests. Hey, that sounds like Skyrim. Not sure how much snow you get but it sounds bloody close to north Tamriel!

Perhaps you still remember Blondie, a courier turned bounty hunter which was my main character in the previous year. Blondie was created on August the 19th 2014 but her game ended prematurely when my disk crashed in November 2014 and I lost all her saves and pictures, more than 700 picutres. I didn't keep any backups back then and two computer technicians told me that the disk was too damaged for any data to be recovered.

I lost a lot of other stuff too, but from the gaming perspective Blondie was the biggest loss. My original intention was to play through the New Vegas Bounties trilogy mod by Someguy2000 (back then it was still a duology). Now when NVB III was released, I became really nostalgic for Blondie and by coincidence I read of some guy in Maribor whose slogan was "that he can save any disk unless it went through fire".

And he was right!

So today I'm really happy because Blondie's back again with all her saves and 765 pictures. It's time for New Vegas Bounties II.

Her toys of choice became the powerful MF Hyperbreeder Alpha, the weapon that doesn't require any ammunition or a machete gladius. But for special targets like the Judge (main antagonist of New Vegas Bounties I) she used a chainsaw.

This is only a portion of Blondie's screenshots, I showed much more of them but I probably took too many to show them all, she was also in the Sierra Madre (and killed Elijah), the Divide (and killed Ulysses) and completed the Inheritance, another mod from Someguy2000. While b34ting the Inheritance, she met Bradley who eventually became her lover. During the questline Bradley was forced to commit a suicide but Blondie made sure to avenge his death by killing Zimmer, the man responsible for Bradley's death. Only a few days after b34ting the Inheritance my disk crashed.

But now Blondie's back and her adventures will continue soon!

What an amazing story! I am so glad you got her back (and know exactly how it feels, I almost lost Maxical the same way).

...and enacted it upon Zimmer as already shown in previous screenshots. Zimmer gives you a chance to fight on his terms in which case you get to fight with him with a katana in a separate room and in case you win, you get a lot of gold bars. While Blondie could easily defeat him with a katana since he's a master in Melee, she couldn't care less about the gold.

No one puts Baby in a corner! I guess the same isn't true of Chet!

Does this mod you are using add "Zimmer" to New Vegas? I'm dying to know more about that mod, whether the voice acting is well done, etc. I noticed it has been ported to several different languages, so seems to be a very popular mod!

I got a huge laugh out of the Scary Blondie pics in the beginning, especially the merchant on the chair, lol.

Also love the different hairstyles Blondie adapts throughout these screens, you never know what hairstyle she will have from one screen to the next! I knew that could be done in Fallout using the robot butlers, but ... how is Blondie doing it in New Vegas? Awesome, anyway !!!

@Acadian - it's one of my favorite close-ups of Blondie as well.

@mALX - Zimmer, Bradley and Hawkins are all added by the same mod - the Inheritance, made by the same guy who created the New Vegas Bounties trilogy. Compared to NVB, the Inheritance is relatively short but offers an interesting plot with unexpected twists and depending on you how handle the main quest, you can extend the gameplay a little further. Another great mod of his is a fully-voiced companion Russell who comes with his own quest that involves traveling to a completely new area. Blondie will definitely team up with Russell at some point also because his story intertwines with the New Vegas Bounties mod. This is generally true for all SomeGuy's mods - you can play each of them on its own but together they form a great story and your consequences from the part I affect events in part III, for instance. This is possible thanks to a special plugin which you have to run alongside any of his mods which memorizes your actions, so to speak.

@Renee - getting Blondie back was one of the happiest moments in my gaming history. Expect to see her back in action during this weekend, I think you'll like her new look.

New hairstyle, same glasses, same habits

Some time has passed since Blondie's last adventures and it makes sense for her hair to grow in between. The hairstyle is obviously modded and though it's not possible to combine it with any headwear because it gets brown stains, I think it fits her good. Besides, she rarely wears and headwear so it's not a big deal.

As soon as she was out of Novac, she was greeted and then sentenced to death by legionnaires. She kindly silenced them for good.

Boxcars is the sole survivor of the Legion's attack on Nipton but they crippled his legs. That was a few months ago but he's still in Nipton and he's still crippled. Here is a pic of their first meeting.

Her eyes are now modded as well. Before I used vanilla blue eyes, now she has sparkling blue eyes from one of many mods included in Mikoto's compilation. Her face (and everyone else's) has HD textures as well.
