I did play Medusa in Fallout 3. But as that shows, she was not too impressed with the talent at the swimming hole... wink.gif laugh.gif

The Law comes to Grayditch!

Deputy Theodore Bear will take care of young Bryan.

Well, I guess spit is better than poop! ohmy.gif

That was too good a fate for Dr Lesko. Most of my characters just kill him. Even the nice ones like Hecate.

Yeah, I showed Benjamin to people I know and without even asking who it looks like they all said "hey that's xxxx!" Even the guy himself did a double-take.

I'm tempted to take his picture and then PM you. I won't post it publicly though. You have to take a pic of Ben out in the light, so I can see his hair color.

Kane, I don't know about you, but I found myself laughing a heck of a lot during my first couple playthroughs. I mean, there are obvious moments like the the G.O.A.T. test, but even throughout the game I'd often be cracking up, especially at some of the things raiders say. laugh.gif How is your experience in this regard?

The GOAT test was a hoot, but I was giggling more when the Mr. Handy cut the cake with the buzz saw. I haven't had too many dealings with raiders, yet. But some of the NPC's in Megaton and Arefu sure are special!

Blue skies are great to see in Fallout NV. I modded the game to get rid of the weird orange tint to everything too (and modded FO3 to get rid of the green).

A light shining through darkness!
Kane
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the tint either. Nevada Skies was one of the first mods I installed.

Thanks. She’s not a character Khajiit will spend a lot of time in game with as she’s from the New Orleans story this one is cooking up. It is helpful to see how she interacts in a world though.

The FO3 pic is taken on one of my favorite game locations.

Thanks folks! This one tried to get her as close as possible from game to game which was a bit challenging given F3’s much more limited options/CC mechanics.

Khajiit actually tweaked her appearance more in F4 and got something he is very happy with. Thinking about putting a bio on her in the thread for that.
Lopov
Ally's back in Point Lookout

There's also her girlfriend - Captain Nadine

And last but not the least - Barney the Protectron

"...move along, please..."

Usually the first thing which Ally does when coming back, is to check the nearby camp for hostile smugglers. As it happened, they were back but during the fight Ally got some help thanks to being an animal friend. The remaining smugglers she put down on her own.

SubRosa
Officer Ally Gator returns!

It is great to see her and Nadine again, and Barney the Bot.
Renee
Yah! So good to see Ally the Swamp Princess back in action. smile.gif Those silly smugglers. Will they ever learn?

In comparison to the base game, is that swamp she lives in pretty close in size? Or much smaller?
Lopov
@SubRosa - it feels good to be back in the swamp too! Time to collect some tasty punga fruits and do some shooting in between to make sure the locals don't overpopulate.

@Renee - those smugglers definitely never learn. biggrin.gif The Point Lookout is much smaller, according to information online, it's 1/5 the size of the Capital Wasteland. There are lots of interesting places to explore, in fact exploration in the DLC is IMO better than vanilla quests. Point Lookout is where Ally spends most of the time, though she occasionally travels back to the Capital Wasteland, it's mostly just to sell the exotic stuff to the merchant that she has a contract with - she brings him punga fruits, unique to Point Lookout, in exchange for supplies. The merchant is conveniently situated right at the pier where Ally and Nadine land in the Capital Wasteland so Ally doesn't have to go far, though she occasionally clears the nearby area by eliminating Talon mercs that never learn either. It feels good having a character that spends most of the time in Point Lookout. Before she travelled to the swamp for the first time, she had actually spent some time in the Capital Wasteland, the pics are still somewhere in this thread (but a few years time back). She had also helped the Outcasts - just like Cho.

She's on the way to Primm!
Lopov
@SubRosa - Blondie's dog is in fact Guts, not Dogmeat, added by a mod by SomeGuy2000, but I don't know which mod exactly because I have most of them installed in Blondie's game. Guts is a very powerful companion compared to vanilla ones and can bring down even some dangerous creatures like cazadores as long as he's not overwhelmed by them.

@Renee - Karen primmin' in Primm. Watch out for convicts!

Blondie has a wild new hairdo!

Uncle Chuckles makes me think of John Wayne Gacy. Great use of that mask by the modder!

Looks like Blondie had the last laugh...

Blondie is going all Scarface!

Those guys that Blondie is lighting up look like Regulators. But they can't be because it's New Vegas. I guess someone just used the duster on them.

That up close with Palo Pete looks like a classic John Woo move, where the hero and anti-hero are standing face to face with guns in each other's faces.

Poor lakelurks...

Blondie has a babie!

I remember Marko dying in the Good, Bad, and Ugly ending.
Lopov
Her new hair is a part of a male hair pack but most of them fit women too.

Like most enemies in New Vegas Bounties, Palo Peto had a unique weapon too, in his case it was a powerful flamer, but at some point Blondie got lucky and crippled his hand so he dropped the weapon and then picked up some gun instead.

Blondie won't mate with lakelurks!

Helping to deliver a baby is an optional quest in the Better Angels mod where you have to protect a small outpost from Legion attacks, during the attacks you can do some side quests, one of which is to help some pregnant woman. Your medicine skill has to be high enough or you need to find some medical tools but upon succeeding, the grateful mother names the baby by your character. smile.gif

* - Blood-Hammer is an extra quest, a so-called hidden bounty. Unlike other bounties in the mod which you pursue upon reading their respective posters, the bounty for Blood-Hammer is triggered by speaking to the bounty officer BUT only if you kill all the Fiends he mentions in the dialogue AND complete the vanilla quest Three Card Bounty. Motor-Runner is a vanilla character and he's actually still alive in Blondie's game so it's probably an oversight of the mod author but the other three - Eileen, Lobo & Queenie are Fiend leaders from New Vegas Bounties I and II and they indeed have one thing in common - all were killed by Blondie.
SubRosa
Ugh, Raider artwork.

Looks to me like Guts got that one.

I sure hope that's not Armand Hammer! ohmy.gif (though it would be pretty cool...) wink.gif

I was thinking something like "Are you going to bark all day little doggie, or are you going to bite?" (from the Blood games)

Now Blondie is using her his head!

Blondie is the Boogeyman of the Fiends!
Lopov
Blood-Hammer was taunting Blondie all the time as she was making way past numerous Fiends in one of the apartment buildings outside of Westside. His hideout was in sewers beneath the building where more Fiends awaited her. The guy actually knew how to use the hammer, if Blondie didn't have the Stonewall perk, he'd knock her down with ease and only a few hits were enough to almost completely tear apart her duster. That's why she used the gun to bring him down.

"You eyeballin' me?" asked the Powder Ganger.

"No," said Blondie and shot the dynamite stick in his hand.

"What are you waiting for, Guts? We won't bury him."

SubRosa
Lopov: For a moment I was going to ask how Blondie managed to talk her way past the Powder Gangers. But then I see she let the dynamite do the talking.

I see Easy Pete is talking her ear off, as usual... wink.gif

Looks like Guts may have met the Coyote of his dreams...

Lopov
Upon (re)installing FNV on my new laptop, Powder Gangers became friendly to Blondie though they were always hostile to her before - she maintains a vilified reputation among them since the very beginning. Maybe it's a side effect of an unofficial patch or some other mod I've been using or maybe just a game bug. If she attacks them, those close enough will get hostile but the next group she encounters will be friendly again. From a roleplaying perspective it makes sense for PGs to leave her alone, Blondie probably killed at least a hundred of them by now so if they have some sense in their heads, they'll leave her alone. tongue.gif However this doesn't mean that Blondie will leave them alone, it all depends on her mood.

Blondie's energy pistol is getting quite a workout! I love the shot in which the guy is getting vaporized, and then we see Gutsie go running up to him just before he becomes a pile of ash. laugh.gif

I really am far behind here. Good lord Uncle Chuckles looks scary. Why is Blondie not wearing anything as she fights him?

Blondie delivers a baby!
Lopov
It often happens that Blondie finishes off some enemy just before Guts bites it, but sometimes she lets him have all the fun like in Guts has the last bite screenshot. He is a very powerful dog, more powerful than any vanilla companion and only most fearsome creatures like deathclaws can bring him down.

Uncle Chuckles took all of Blondie's belongings as he captured her and only when she had killed him, she retrieved a key to the footlocker with her equipment.
SubRosa
Loviatar had the Powder Gangers friendly with her for a while. I avoided doing the Joe Cobb quest in Goodsprings, and instead went to the prison and 'joined' their gang. They have a short questline of about 3 quests. In the end Loviatar switched sides and helped the NCR retake the prison. Then it was time to feast! devilsmile.gif

After that, the other Powder Gangers were always hostile.

One nice thing about a dog companion like Guts is that they are low to the ground, and won't block your shots. I liked summoning wolves and boars in Oblivion for that reason. Lions were nice too, until they jumped.

Brian went out in a blaze of glory.

Looks like Prometheus got smote by the thunderbolt of Zeus Blondie

Yikes, that Deathclaw was close!

Blondie has the hottest table in town!
Lopov
Some of my characters also sided with PGs up to the point where you have an option to help the NCR take over the NCRCF, but then they betrayed them but I had one or two that sided with PGs. In this case the reputation with the NCR immediately drops to Shunned upon the quest completion but if you kill some troopers that attack the facility, you can achieve the Vilified status with the NCR which makes the game significantly harder at low levels because you're being attacked by NCR assassin squads until you improve your reputation. Blondie never got even close to the NCRCF but if someone will place bounties on their heads, then she will.

Brian Claiborne is a reference to Billy Claiborne while Prometheus is inspired from Mary Shelley's poem Prometheus Unbound, because the Prometheus in the game keeps two pet deathclaws, named Mary and Shelley. laugh.gif
SubRosa
Blondie's hat is quite big, and creepy! ohmy.gif

It looks like the Elko gang has jaundice. I guess the Raider life is not very healthy...

Hi Blondie! biggrin.gif

Chopping time!
Lopov
Blondie's hat is added by a mod A sackful of hats. She likes to collect hats more than she likes wearing them, she usually has them for a few days, then puts them on display at home.

The Elko gang was inspired by the Reno gang. There were lots of them inside the shack.

Let's take a glimpse to the Capital Wasteland:

What's inside?

Fire Marshall Bill - some mod adds several drunken gnomes scattered over the wasteland, they're hard to find, so far this is the second he'd found, the first one which is already in the Hobo's backpack, is Colonel Klink.

Fly, my dart

Careful what you're going to say - that's a mod-added ballistic shotgun, one of raiders was using it.

If she'd listen to the Hobo... - the Hobo met this girl when he came to the Cheste Acres Dairy farm for the first time. I still keep a pic of their meeting. He warned her that raiders will eventually come back and that she should leave. But unfortunately she didn't listen to him. kvright.gif Real date-wise, their first meeting pic was taken on the 6th of April 2016.

laugh.gif

Lopov, do you know what Fire Marshall Bill is from? One of the funniest shows from the '90s, with Jim Carey as FMB.

THE Hobo really loves his dart gun, lol.

Lopov
@SubRosa - the Hobo was pondering whether he should check those dumpsters. It's good that he did else there wouldn't be Bill with him now.

He likes to attack with various weapons when dealing with a group of enemies like raiders. He usually places a mine or mines somewhere close, then lures them to it by firing a shot. If there's an exploding car nearby, he definitely places a mine next to it. He's not very good at sneaking, so he's often spotted while doing so. In this case he usually throws a grenade at them and then finishes them off with weapons as he sees fit, but usually doesn't throw another grenade in the mess, because by then Dogmeat is already involved in fight as well.

@Renee - I googled Fire Marshall Bill and found out its reference. From the mod's readme I learned that most gnomes are based on TV characters from various army shows or movies, Colonel Klink, his other gnome is also from some show.
