@Acadian - mirelurks are indeed mutated crabs and very dangerous. Fortunately they don't exist in such size in Cyrodiil.
@hazmick - Hobo makes sure that mirelurks don't get too close to him. He hurts them with mines or grenades from afar and then finishes them off with his rifle, usually by crouching down and aiming for their face. Nice shots, characters seem really slim in FO4. Uh oh, aliens are back. Hopefully they didn't come to abduct us again.
@Renee - Deeno was killed by more "advanced" mirelurks, namely mirelurk hunters. They don't exist in Hobo's game yet because he hasn't reached mid levels.
@mALX - I love the Animal Friend perk, especially when animals come to your aid. And it feels good to walk among animals and they look at you but ignore you at the same, they behave like you're one of them.
@SubRosa - your mad scientist has a great lair, especially the table of experiments is fitting, I like the shot where she's taking notes.

How is her lair accessible, through sewers or directly from outside? Oh, and bon appetit, Loviatar.

Hobo staged a fight between
raiders and a mirelurk. How did he do it? He positioned himself roughly halfway between a raider-infested wharf and a mirelurk nest and shot in both directions. Both parties came to investigate until they eventually clashed.
Then came the radier boss and
cleaned up the mess with a missile launcher but in fact he not only killed the mirelurk but his two friends as well, not to mention that he hurt himself in the process.
Hobo then jumped from behind the rock and
finished things up.
As he was about to relax at the once-raider-infested wharf, another mirelurk arrived to the party. Hobo spotted it from afar, set
a mine as a welcome surprise, then killed him with a well-placed
shot in its face.
