Hecate vs Behemoth – at least Hecate’s got some distance to work with.

Quite the fireworks display she puts on!

Good vs the Bad & Ugly is a good way to put it.

Repairing the radio relay – I love Hecate’s ‘lab geek’ outfit!

DC sunrise is very pretty. And contemplative. happy.gif

Lopov –

Sorry to hear about Marl’s game. kvleft.gif

Welcome to Ally though. I love her hair, smile, skimpy attire and bionic bewbs. tongue.gif

Heh, I guess smoking is probably the least of her health concerns living in the wastelands like she does. wink.gif

Oh, that is so funny with her looking down on the tiny hammer dude! laugh.gif

She's from Louisiana, I think. She was a very successful RadGator hunter, that's how she earned her nickname.

It's a so called Bobblehead, this one is for Melee Weapons. There are twenty bobbleheads scattered all over the Capital Wasteland of which thirteen stand for each skill and seven for each SPECIAL stat, and when picked up, the skill increases for 10 points or the stat increases for 1 point. Most of them can be found without doing specific quests but there are a few that can only be obtained by doing the main quest.

SubRosa: I love D.C. Sunrise. Those baddies may have gotten killed by mini-nukes, but D.C. Sunrise is what kills me!

Lopov: Welcome Ally Gator to the Capitol Wasteland. Enjoy your stay.

Some neat pics, Lopov! I especially like the makeshift bra.. tongue.gif
SubRosa
A starting character against a Deathclaw! Ally is lucky to have gotten her hair out of there in one piece.

The Outcast pic is great! I notice Ally is smart enough to stand behind them.

Ally is going to Anchorage! The Recon Armor looks good on her. Though perhaps white is not her color...
Acadian
I really like Ally's look. Her hair style and skin tone remind me of another dangerous woman - Grace Jones.

The shot of Ally directing the Gators Allycasts Outcasts is spectacular, as they lay down a base of fire under her direction from the rear. Very cool!

First shot - can't think of anything but how Awesome Hecate's hair is! That is as perfect as it gets, Awesome hair mod! (hint hint).

Out comes the Fatman, you must be a blast to watch playing !!!!

The Good = is that one of those guns you ported over? It looks wicked!

Ugly is most def a key word here, urk! I've always been too panicked to notice their faces, (or take a screenshot for that matter, lol). Awesome but urgly shot!

Holy Crap! What did you hit him with? AWESOME !!!! You really need to film your Behemoth fights, they are too exciting for snapshots!

OMG, you nuked him! Did he survive it? How do you get the screen of the cloud still engulfed in flames? This is amazing, I'm lucky if I catch the smoke aftermath!

OMG, is that the experimental MIRV or did you shoot twice? Oh, I would deafen the neighbors for miles screaming to see you play this game, this is Awesome! (though ... I would have screamed myself hoarse over seeing that sword kill last game you played, lol).

Is Hecate wearing Doctor Lesko's coat again? rollinglaugh.gif

OMG, aren't you afraid of falling out? Can you fall out there or do they have a primitive there to block it?) That is my favorite shot of all, believe it or not. Seeing that blue sky - (that is a mod, right? - and the city looks so peaceful from up there, you can almost imagine how it was prewar. Awesome shot!

This whole update was spectacular, what a bunch of great shots!

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jul 22 2015, 01:18 PM) *

The Doctor Lesko one had me rolling!! Especially since she is wearing his medical coat in the screen and how on earth did you get her holding one of his medical clipboards? That is a spectacular shot !!!

OMG, how did you get so close for that shot of the races - without being shot yourself? Awesome, I love that little extra there - and load up on the meds up on top of the dumpster there every time, lol.

Uh oh, where is Shorty? That is another great shot, catching the guns as they fire! And Red isn't doing too bad here!

Ah, there is the little complainer Shorty! Hecate looks amazing in these shots!

This last shot is a study in the difference between Hecate's facial textures and the vanilla ones, Awesome modded textures you have there! Is that the same one you sent me?

SubRosa
Lopov: Sooner or later all of my characters end up at Galaxy News Radio to fix the transmitter for Three Dog, so I can listen to the radio. So that Behemoth outside the front door never survives even one of my games.

Isn't it funny how even your shoes change with your outfit in the Fallout games? I wonder why they always do the one-piece clothing options, when in the TES games they at least split it up between legs, torso, gloves, boots, and so on? I am sure it is easier this way, but it would be nice to have more options to mix and match. Especially with the Raider and Merc outfits.

Acadian: Buffy is lucky. Many of my characters are the in your face with a sword type - like Hervor and Persephone - so they inevitably get between the bad guys and Serana's ice cannon. A rather, uncomfortable place to be! laugh.gif

The DC pic was my favorite of that last bunch. It gives a good look at the modern DC ruins, especially the Mall, which is not a World War I-esque trench affair.

mALX: That is Dr Leskos' lab coat that Hecate is wearing. All of my characters hondle with him so he adds it to the reward for dealing with the Ant Queen's Guardians. It gives a +10 to Science, which is really handy in the early game.

Hecate is posed with the clipboard with that poses mod, that gives you the names of all the vanilla idle poses. That one is called Loose ScientistInspectTerminalA

Those are the same face textures as a the mod I sent you a while back. Her hair is from Hair Pack

The Behemoth took a couple of nukes to put down. I think three in all. I got that double explosion when a car exploded at the same time as the last nuke. I love how that turned out!

There is a barrier there so you cannot get up on the ledge in the Washington Monument pic. I had to use TCL to get there, pose her, go out of TFC to move her, then use TFC again to take the picture. That was not an easy one to take!

A starting character against a Deathclaw! Ally is lucky to have gotten her hair out of there in one piece.
The dadclaw spawned in ruins southeast of Tenpenny Tower and was stuck inside them, he was too big to get out. Once Ally realized this, it was easy to kill him with grenades from a safe distance. It was a random encounter with the Deathclaw schematics.

I read on Beth that that's about to change in FO4.

Nice to see you doing the main quest, daddy James really looks good in your game, like a seasoned traveler.

So that's how Hecate looked like when she was a kid. wink.gif

And the Tranquility Lane is in colors for a change. But then commies came and ruined the party.

I have to say it again but James really looks good, especially in the "... in action" pic, he makes a great team with his daughter against perils of the Wasteland.
Renee
Whoa, look at Tranquility Lane. Wow, that looks sort of like the place where some of the people in Walking Dead wind up (Season 3).
Acadian
SubRosa -

Aww, a nice boat and no place to float it. kvleft.gif

There’s Hecate in her wonderful lab geek outfit again. Hmm, the rifle makes an. . . interesting accessory. tongue.gif

Wow, so that simulator thing takes you a virtual pre-holocaust virtual reality? How cool it must be in that environment to retreat to a touch of Leave it Beaver or Father Knows best. And a chance to see ‘Little Hecate’. happy.gif

Uh oh, darn commies, always spoiling things. sad.gif

Hecate sure doesn’t let any radioactive dust grow under her boots (or high heels). wink.gif
SubRosa
Lopov: I think we can all agree that Ally Gator has the ordinance to fill out that armor. wink.gif

I am using Fellout, which adds a nice breath of real color to the game. Aside from green that is. I have had to tweak it a lot to get it how I like it however. Their settings for the exterior of Tranquility Lane were just perfect, as you see in the pics. But the interiors were way overbright and washed out. I had to mute those colors a lot, and the insides of the houses are still really bright.

Renee: I gave up on Walking Dead at the end of Season Two. But there are plenty of zombies in Fallout 3! Well Ferals at least.

Acadian: Those little speedboats are my favorite boats in the game. I wish you could actually drive one around the Potomac.

I think that is Hecate's Lab Greek outfit. wink.gif

Tranquility Lane is one of the neater places in the game. Like you said, a little slice of Idealized America. It is a nice little preview of what we will see in the beginning of Fallout 4, which starts at the very beginning of the Great War.

Dad recruits Dr. Li and the Rivet City science team to get Project Purity up and running once more

Renee
Seasons 1 and 2 are the best, because it's all about the zombies versus the humans. Season 3 and beyond became too political for me ... humans vs. humans mostly. But seasons 1 and 2, I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time.

These are great pics, outlining what I think Cho is about to witness I think. Good thing I haven't got a very good memory. So daddy dies, huh? Yikes! I think I might remember that.
Winter Wolf
Wow! Hecate is back again. Where have I been?!? The last time I clicked on things a silver haired princess was playing tag the mutie. Lol.

I really loved that open arm gesture by Hecate while she was outside the control room. Knowing how that scene plays out and how you got there, it was perfect!
mirocu
@SubRosa - How did you get the blue away from T. Lane? Also, neat pixies from the MQ biggrin.gif
Lopov
Great screenies as you tell us Hecate's story and her short-lived time with daddy James. I really liked shots where she repairs various stuff around the Jefferson Memorial.

Autumn, that bastard, I know that Hecate will track him down and return a favor.

So now it's off to the Citadel - I have a feeling that Power Armor won't be Hecate's cup of tea, but we'll see.

Who does the dog in the final pic belong to?

--

Ally didn't like being in the Liberation of Anchorage simulation, firstly because armor covered her entire body and secondly because it was cold.

Nonetheless, she behaved like a true-blooded soldier, killing Chinese commies, blowing up Chinese guns, and managed to convince Chinese General that he already lost.

As soon as she came out of the sim, and unlocked the armory, a fight ensued between Outcasts. Sally sided with good ones and beheaded one of the rebels with her hunting rifle, though his body seemed like it was ready to fight on.

The big white tin can known as Power Armor was Ally's reward for completing the simulation but she gladly refused it.
SubRosa
mirocu: I use Fellout to remove the weird color tints that Bethesda decided to use all over the game. Though I have tweaked the settings quite a bit to make the nights and interiors brighter, and also to create a warmer, more natural look indoors as well.

The Tranquility Lane Weather is set to like this:
Ambient
R - 140

Far - 10000.0000

Lopov: The dog is Dogmeat. Hecate found him a long time ago, and has had him waiting in the Megaton house ever since then. Somehow he just magically appeared in the Taft Tunnels! I have no idea how that happened. It could be that the main quest has a script that removes companions when it does the whole scripted scene with Dad and Col. Autumn, and then adds them back again when you go into the tunnels. Maybe that added Dogmeat back to her side?

I have been experimenting with power armor mods, and found two that she might wear for special cases, like going to war against the Enclave.

Punisher Power Armor Retexture (which is just a black retexture of the standard power armor)

Colossus Tesla Armor

Ally takes it to the Dirty Reds! What a cool pic of the headless Outcast guy with the minigun. Maybe he will become the Headless Rider, and his ghost will haunt the wasteland, riding a spectral motorcycle? wink.gif The big white armor definitely does not look like Gator's style. Maybe she could give it a green paint job?
Renee
look at Alaska, that looks pretty. Love the snowmen!

Wasn't there some sort of controversy about the Chinese soldier parts?

Acadian
SubRosa - Two things really stand out from Hecate’s Adventures with Daddy:

In the first picture, Hecate is visibly pissed and I can see why - Hecate invents the lab geek white coat & heels look and now every woman and her sister seems to be wearing it!

The other thing that really stands out here is how her dad died - so very reminiscent of Mr Spock. "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."

*

Lopov - Brrr! I can see why Ally suited up for her arctic butt kicking expedition. Good to see her back in her regular outfit though!

Ally "Gator" comes to the Capital Wasteland via the Rockland car tunnel in the southwest

Ally's face was more or less chosen by the randomizer, when I saw a smile on her face and kind eyes, I didn't need to tweak her much more. Hair is chosen by me, though. cool.gif

It looks good, especially because you say that she'll be wearing it for special causes, not for everyday use. wink.gif

Hecate was rewarded with exile - this reminds me of Fallout 1 ending where you had to leave the vault forever though in fact you saved them.

The Enclave has arrived with their deathclaw pups. I like Enclave's PA more than BOS'.

Yikes, Vault 87! I never tried getting inside from the Wasteland, I can't possibly imagine how much RadAways do you need to carry to reach the door. Only to find it locked.

Going through LL caverns is definitely wiser.

Urk, the 101 quest. That quest always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

OMG, how did you get such a closeup shot of the Enclave and deathclaw?

Cement boots! I've never seen that! And how is she wearing the Boomers water breathing device in FO3?

Oh oh, Bye Bye Eulogy Jones! Don't get the suit bloody!

Oh, that Lamplight place was kind of fun to hang out in, lol.

I love these quests, really thinking about pulling out FO3 and finishing my game or starting a new one, lol.

I have been experimenting with power armor mods, and found two that she might wear for special cases, like going to war against the Enclave.

Punisher Power Armor Retexture (which is just a black retexture of the standard power armor)

Colossus Tesla Armor

Oh, I thought that's Bo Weinberg's corpse. tongue.gif

Slavers got what they deserved. Though Eulogy's outfit would definitely suit Hecate.

Nice shot of Little Lamplight.

mALX: I put aside several different suits of armor for Daddy James: Combat Armor, Leather Armor, and so on. When Hecate finally busted him out of Tranquility Lane, I used the console to give them to him one at a time to see how he looked. The Armored Vault suit just seemed to fit him perfectly.

Hecate is wearing the vanilla Tortiseshell Glasses. Technically they are the Lucky Shades. I made a mod that changes their mesh to use that of the Tortiseshell Glasses, just so it would not change her look when she got the Luckys.

I just used the TFC command to get the free camera, and moved it to inside the control room for most of those shots. All those poses are from the vanilla game, using that mod that provides the pictures and command console to activate them. The one with her pounding on the glass is the same one of that guy near the end of Vault 101, who pounds on the window when you walk to the administration area on the second floor, near the overseer's office.

I used the TFC 1 command for the pic of the Enclave and Deathclaw. The 1 at the end freezes time, which is handy when you have to move the camera far away from where your character is.

Lopov: You get exiled in all the Fallout games. It is a tradition in the series. Sort of like starting out in prison is a TES tradition. Excepting New Vegas of course, but I don't think there is anything to exile you from there.

Hecate tried to reach the front door of Vault 87, but even using Rad-X she died every time. My only character to make it there to get the map marker and get back out alive was the Ant-Agonizer. She had maxxed out her Rad Resistance. But I still had to hotkey Rad-Away, and used about 70 or so of them running in and out.

I like that little building by Alexandria Arms with the sniper and all the traps and mines. I usually clear that out every game.

Gator-Girl is headed to the swamps! The perfect place for her I would think.

This is one of my absolute favorite dungeon crawls in the game from beginning at Little Lamplight all the way to the implosion at the end outside Raven Rock!

How did you get Falkes to meet you at the gate? That is such a better solution than having him beard you while the place is exploding and making you miss it all!

I was going to joke with you about Hecate bringing Eden flowers, lol.

Love the Deathclaw touch, but can't help wishing they had him in the earlier places before the Secruitrons are helping you, lol. Let him rampage through the science labs, lol.

'Teaming up with Guy Fawkes' looks so cool. I would expect that the Enclave would just abandon the east cost after the two mega-powers join up together.

I rarely have a chance to use Fawkes. After stealing, raiding, maiming, farming and hacking computers I never seem to have any good karma left. biggrin.gif

Crouched down beside the cage is another great pic. Loved it!

Raven Rock has fallen. Kaa-Boom!

The other thing that normally pops up on that NW part of the map (in my game) is a flying Deathclaw. Fawkes walks away from me, finds it nearby and clubs it until it accelerates into orbit. laugh.gif
Lopov
The "dark heart of Vault 87" is a superb shot, it looks as it would be drawn.

What kind of mutant is on the 2nd pic? It's been awhile since I've been to 87, are these creatures already found dead?

You always have something new to show, I don't remember seeing the Enclave scientist examining the mutant before.

Eden is definitely the most unique president of the USA up to date.

What a great shot of Raven Rock exploding!

Fawkes looks terrifying in the "return" shot.

There are a couple of failed mutants in Vault 87, like the one that Hecate is standing next to in that pic. They are already dead when you get there, and are in the FEV experimentation chambers.

Fawkes was just standing there at the gate outside Raven Rock. I ran forward, and the next thing I knew he was forcing me into conversation. I got out of it quick enough to get some pictures though.

I was thinking that same thing about the Deathclaw in Raven Rock. It would have been a lot of fun to turn him loose in the labs, with all those Enclave scientists and soldiers in there.

Not to mention the hat from Stinky's 18th birthday party, and a bedload of teddy bears!

D'aaaawwwww! It's Liberty Prime!

Ooh, great shot of the Assault on the Enclave!

IMHO, following Liberty Prime across that bridge was the greatest moment in any video game EVAH (!); followed closely by the implosion of Raven Rock! And you've got some of his dialogue too!!!!

I can't wait to see how much you were able to capture of it on film !!!!!!

OMG, look how tiny the BOS guy looks compared to Liberty Prime !!!!

Oh man, I know it is impossible to catch the full effect - car pieces flying through the air, Helicopters crashing around you, the explosions shaking the ground beneath you - that scene is spectacular !!!!! But you came as close as possible here, this is the closest I've seen any snapshot come to the excitement of that moment !!!

Helicopter blades burning on the ground in the backdrop here, and over by the bridge a live helicopter hovering - run back and shoot it down!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !!!!!!

Oh, I've never been close enough to see him take down the barrier! This is awesome!

OMG, he throws a nuke? I didn't know that !!!

He's going to blow up the helicopter !!!! WOO HOO !!!!

YES !!!

Autumn's raincoat and special pistol, ftw!

Seeing that statue as I died the first time I played (before Broken Steel came out and brings you back to life) - that scene was overwhelming to watch as you slid down and saw that statue fading away, then realized you had died - HUGE scene !!!! So glad you captured that scene! It was an emotional moment, at least for me it was.

Awesome, AWESOME update !!!!!

That is so neat to see Liberty (Optimus, lol) throw the nuke. You capture the moment amazingly well. Lookout out pesky rabbits!

What chance did Autumn have? Hecate had fire burning inside her like hot lead.

I love that ending of the main game. Liberty thought he was attacking the chinese while we were evading-shooting the muties and the enclave. The big tin-head had know idea what was going on!

Loved the pics Lopov!

The milkman one was sooooo cool. You have totally captured the misty, sinister feel to the landscape.

And Ally having a little chat while sitting down. That must have been a interesting conversation!

A whole bunch of awesome and funny-titled screenshots.

Hecate is quite a collector, does she run an official competition with mirocu about who owns more teddy bears? Fawkes looks like a supporting beam in her shack.

My favorite shots are Liberty Prime throwing the nuke at the Enclave vertibird.

Can't help myself but I always like to see Autumn die, he really is a heartless [censored in advance] and deserves no mercy. I can't imagine his surrender though I know it's possible with high enough Charisma & Speech. He comes across as the guy that can't be negotiated with.
