I love her revenge on Bugsy Benny! laugh.gif Her outfit is in place and she even brought a special revolver to the party. Looks like Benny was quite surprised to be shot in his head, judging by the expression on his face. It's like "Dude, relax now. You just shot me in my head."

Poor Benny, he's just out of his depth. He is a little fish in a very big pond, it is just a question of who it is who actually ends up killing him.

Me too. At first I thought it said "Benny Hill crippled" instead of Benny Head. The final pic makes me glad to be a vegetarian.

Also the 'map' one looks very improvised.

It's the Benny Hill show! laugh.gif

I love that map. The little bits and pieces are mostly related to what is there at that spot. The stick of dynamite is where the Powder Gangers are based, the stealth boy where the stealth-boy addicted super mutants live, etc...

I am sure Acadian recognizes this classic plane

Lopov
Good to see Annie "chatting" with Festus, it looks like she's pointing a gun at him with her hand.

The Strip looks good, you got rid of that odd light that is present in and around the Strip.

Glad she survived bombing at Nellis.

I haven't noticed Annie above the plane at first, great shot.

Nice shots from Lake Mead, is she just helping Boomers or interested in the main quest?
SubRosa
I did fix that weird light around the city. I am not exactly sure what did it, as I had to do several things before I finally killed it. First I went to the Menu bar -> World -> Climates, and found NVUrbanClear. I changed its weather type to WastelandClear. That did not seem to entirely clear it up. Sometimes the haze was there, sometimes it was not. So I also went to the Menu bar -> Weather, and found NvUrbanClear there. I changed everything there to match that of the NVWastelandClear, at all times of day or night. That finally did it.

I never got some of the clues on it. I mean the cherry bomb was easy; and the dynamite stick; and the Helios one; but there were a lot I couldn't figure out - like the Stealth boy one (which I spent 15 minutes trying to dig out, lol).

I'm so glad you followed up with the screenshots of bringing that plane up!

Annie swimming (above) was my absolute favorite! What a great shot, really don't know how you caught that one so clear!

All of these shots were awesome; loved the Nellis AFB, I always give a nod and wave to Acadian when I go there, lol. The shot of Annie on top of that plane nose (or fusilage? Idk what part it was, lol) - what a tremendous shot that was! How on earth did she get up there? Holy Cow!

This was the only shot I didn't enjoy as much: the glow-less Vegas. As much as Vegas's glow might not look great, imho it looks worse without it.

I can imagine a desert being so flat and dark at night (especially since Vegas had all the electricity being channeled to it so no surrounding areas had any light at all) that Vegas's glow could be seen from greater distances than one might think possible; so for me the glow added to the feel of the strip under those circumstances.

In that screenshot, the light from all those lit up signs barely reaches the street below it, it kind of kills the feel of it for me. (But of course, that is just my opinion; and obviously not everyone's).

Renee
I love the 'Strip' at night picture. Damn, you're making me wanna play some Fallout ha ha
SubRosa
I wouldn't mind the light around Vegas, but it also creates a weird haze effect that is present day or night, which just drives me crazy. In the past I have always avoided going near Vegas just because of that. I am glad to be rid of it, so the game looks normal again.

Welcome to Zion

What are these drops of water falling from the sky?

Settin' for a spell

Note to self, don't drink the shaman's special tea...

Annie is not sure if the Ghost was real or not, but she killed it anyway

Someone give this woman a hand...

The Burned Man
mALX

Holy Cow, I've never seen rain in either the Wasteland or the Mojave! That has to be my favorite, it really looks like Annie is wondering what is going on!

Oh, I'm dying to hear the story behind that Tribal tea!

Love the Deathclaw Gauntlet, do you know that is the first time I've seen one on in a screenshot? Very cool!

I'm dying to know more about these quests, the man with the bandages, etc - this DLC sounds really interesting!

Annie sitting on the log - is that a log chair or is she pose sitting?

Awesome shots, all of them!

No need to call the Ghostbusters. Just pump it full of lead! laugh.gif

These are great shots of Zion, location-wise it's the most beautiful thing in FNV IMO. The one where stands in the rain, is my favorite!

Good to see Annie making use of Freddy Krueger's Claw.
SubRosa
The shaman's tea was part of a quest he gives you. First you have to gather some sacred plants for him. Then he uses it to make a potion that he gives you to drink. Once you do, things get weird. He sends you off to kill a mythical? Yao-guai and her brood. It all has the feeling of doing a sacred vision-quest, which was really neat.

That was actually a Yao-Guai gauntlet. It is hand from the big-bad Yao-Gui that the shaman sends you to kill. He makes it for you afterward. Of course Annie is a gunwoman, so she never used it. But it looked neat!

The man in the bandages is a big part of the DLCs plot, and the vanilla game's history. I don't want spoil anything, so I won't go into details.

That log was also a chair, or at least it worked like one, giving you the Sit option if you moused over it.

I loved how Zion looked. It was the most beautiful place I have seen in either Wasteland as well. At least so far.

Colonel Mustard
Never played Lonesome Road before, so it's cool to see it up here. Maybe if I get my current machine to run New Vegas I can actually give it a shot, but for now it's nice to play it vicariously through these screens. The Divide looks like a wonderfully bleak place.
Renee

I love those landscape pics! And Annie's style too. She's so stylish, like a lot of your characters.
SubRosa
Colonel Mustard: The Divide was a pretty cool dlc. My only real bones against it are the lack of diversity among the baddies, and its overly-lavish amount of loot (I walked out with literally 3-4 thousands rounds of ammo from the final battle alone)

Renee Gade IV: You know me, I am all about what my character's wear. Deciding their outfits is one of the things I love best about rpgs.

Lopov
Great shots, SubRosa, Annie is moving really fast through DLCs!

I've been to The Big MT several times but I don't remember Cyberdogs playing Poker, great shot
Renee
WOW look at the Big MT. Holy [censored].
SubRosa
Lopov: I found the dogs playing poker in an observation room (that you cannot enter) in the X-8 research center. It was down in the Testing Facility level, below the main level, but not in the actual simulation.

Renee Gade IV: I had to mod the weather, because it made everything too dim to really see well. So I changed it to the standard wasteland weather, and now I can see the stars, and everything else...

Annie has a new outfit

This does not look good

Roboscorpion!

Annie's outfit is a stealth suit (and it talks to her)

Annie plays Halo

The guns of Big MT

Annie found a mini-Deathclaw named Stripe
Renee
I love all these, wow, I'm grinning so hard. LOok at the mini deathclaw! I want one of those for a pet. That would sure be unique. Everybody else has cats and dogs, maybe a hamster (yawn) but We've got a pet deathclaw!

Then again, what the heck would you feed that sucker? There's no way I'm buying live mice or whatever the heck it wants to eat. Actually it would probably wind up eating all the cats and dogs in my neighborhood, maybe some small children. mellow.gif So scratch that idea
Acadian
I like Annie’s new outfit. What are the little nipple plugs for? I’d be hesitant to speculate so I thought I’d ask. whistling.gif

Nightstalker Test Area – Looks like that’ll just perk Annie’s curiosity instead of instill caution.

Holy crap! As if mutant giant scorpions weren’t bad enough. Now someone’s making RoboScorps?!? ohmy.gif

How clever to have an outfit that keeps her company while adventuring!

A raspberry beret with a halo around it!

That’s a neat sky above Big MT.

The little deathclaw is adorable! And I’m still liking Annie’s high ponytail. happy.gif

I'm so sorry it took so long to get here, and you've been prolific too so now I'm really behind! I really don't know how I missed seeing that you had posted, I would have been here sooner if I had.

Oh, that quest sounds awesome! How are the gauntlet's stats? Veronica is great at unarmed, I gave her Pushy and she knocked out several Deathclaws with it before being overcome!

I've never been out west, but the red clay looks awesome in pictures and films - (have always wanted to see it IRL); and that is kind of what I visualized Zion to be by the screenshot of Annie standing on a mesa looking down at it.

Aw, E-DE is gold!

Urk, that missile can't go off while you poke around it's bottom regions, can it?

Gaaaah, how come that red faced guy is floating in the air? And why is his face red? Urgh, what is that bumper sticker tied to his leg? Urk! That is one freaky scene!!!

I've seen those signs before, did you post them somewhere else too?

Ah, got to love that sky in the last shot, that is Awesome!

Catching up:

First off, I have to agree with you on the clothing choosing. I have spent an hour in game more than once going through everything in the house, seeing how each outfit looks and discarding ones I don't like the look of - and will wear an armor that looks better even if it has less protection, lol.

The Divide - isn't that where you have to run through and get killed repeatedly till you reach the end? Holy Cow, I can't believe you managed to get screenshots! This place really looks great in these screens, but from your description I know it wasn't, lol.

Do NOT like the look of the green scene, but I'll bet E-DE was a great help to have along on that trip! Too bad you couldn't send him on through to draw the fire and then follow behind after the explosions, lol.

Annie is looking mad as a hornet in front of that missile, would not want to be on the receiving end of that look, lol.

But then it is followed up by her heading back home, and boy did you capture a great expression here, she looks exhausted, worn down, and like she has been through a hell that she didn't think she would make it out of - what an Awesome shot!

What in hell is that thing coming at her in Dry Wells? GAAAAAAAH! But if that hairy helmet is removable, I want one!

Homestead has to be my second favorite shot, first off because her bed is covered with bears like mine always is in Fallout 3; and secondly that great pose! Is that a mod? Awesome shot !!!

This last shot is a real "HOLY CRAP!" moment - OMFG, this looks like it is going to be an AWESOME place !!!!!! I can't wait to see what she finds there !!!!

Still catching up, I am loving following Annie's journeys in the Mojave!

Wait, what? Dead Money is over and done with? Oh no, that gorgeous place is the one you have to go through hell (literally) to reach? Oh heck !!! I do NOT want to go there then, lol. Urk.

But ... does Dean Domino and Dog/God still live when Annie leaves there? Is that the dog brain in Annie's gun later in the shots?

Annie ghost busting is a great close up shot !!!

Those signs on the "Pre-war school simulation" are hysterical!

This DLC sounds a LOT more fun than Dead Money so far.

These are all great shots, thank you for sharing these, I'm loving Annie's tackling the DLC!

Now THIS DLC looks like a lot of fun! Did Annie's perk for disabling robots work on the mechanized rad scorpion?

Love the new outfit, great screenshot too!

I got a kick out of a Stealth suit that talks to you, is it calling out at a crucial sneaking moment and alerting the enemies that you are in their midst?

Annie has her gun out, is Stripe friendly?

And...what is the halo?

Awesome shots, all of them!!!

SubRosa
The gauntlet is actually a Yao-guai gauntlet. I think the stats were pretty good. Annie never used it though. She's a gun girl. So it was just a big back-scractcher...

The new E-DE isn't really gold, it is just the lighting in that pic. He looks the same as the original, except he doesn't have the license plate.

The red guy is actually hanging from the wall. He's what the game calls a Marked Man, a new kind of mutant created by the radiation of the Divide. At least so I gather. They look like the Red Skull to me.

The bad guy in the pic from Dry Wells is a Legion officer. I forget his name. Marius something. He was really, really tough. It took a lot of killin' to put him down. You can indeed wear his armor and helmet after you kill him.

The homestead is a Novac house mod I created a few weeks ago. I converted one of the boarded up bungalows in the motel to a home. So far it has been really nice. I always pile up teddy bears on my character's beds in every Fallout game. It is just a Fallout tradition. One of my other characters collected pre-war money, and piled it up on the desk in the Megaton House bedroom as well.

The crew from Dead Money live or die depending on what you do in the DLC. Assuming they all live, Dead and Dog/God move on afterward. Christine remains behind as the new caretaker of the Sierra Madre. But once you leave, I don't think you ever see any of them again.

Stripe was definitely not friendly. He attacked immediately. Otherwise Annie would have let him alone. It is too bad, because he was cute. He even had his own little doghouse with his name on it.

The halo is an item from Old World Blues. They call it a Valence Radii Accentuator. It gives you some low level regeneration and a bonus to Endurance. I like how it looks, but it if your head is bare it makes your hair disappear. So you have to wear a hat with it. But it only works with some headgear, and not with others. I think it uses the sunglasses equipment slot.

House loses - That looks like a draugr in the first shot. Perhaps hooked up to various devices so he wouldn’t have to leave the gaming floor of the casino to eat/pee etc? And I really like Annie's talking armor (with the nipple plugs). tongue.gif

Ready for battle – Is that a California bear on her chest plate?

Against the Legion – What a great close up of Annie! She looks great – and very determined! goodjob.gif

Leading the assault – Annie git yer Gun!

Oh, I have worn a Legion hair helmet before, and in NV it makes you appear as one of them when you do! I sure didn't recognize it in that screenshot though, lol.

Did Annie already do that battle on the hill against the Legion where you have to fight the guy in the Dagoth Ur mask? I've never gotten to that battle or the one on the dam either, really would love to just once make it to those battles! (Maybe I'll be able to now that I have the PC game).

I don't remember having teddy bears in NV, but in Fallout 3 my Megaton house bed was stacked in them; but my desk was covered in Lincoln memorabilia. I always kept his hat, his voice recorder and coin collection, his action figurine, and his gun. (My character used to wear the naughty nightie and Lucky sunglasses with Lincoln's hat - and before the glitch was patched out: Button's wig under the hat). Talk about a charisma and speechcraft boost! laugh.gif

That Novac home you made was Awesome! It looked like it had always been there! Did you ever upload that or was it for your personal game?

Stripe had his own doghouse with his name on it? Oh how cute! Urk, it must have been hard to kill him after seeing that! Darn those developers! laugh.gif

I looked up that Halo thing - every hat that it doesn't work with is my favorite hats in game, lol. That figures, laugh.gif

The battle with Dagoth Ur ( laugh.gif ) comes before the final battle of the game. Remember, once you commit to fight at Hoover Dam you are locked in, and the game ends when it is over. Dagoth Ur and Red Mountain Dry Wells is an option baddie you can take on after finishing Lonesome Road.

I never did upload the house. Though I might. I think I have all the kinks in it worked out.

I am trying to imagine Lincoln's hat, a naughty nightie, and the lucky shades! laugh.gif That sounds like something you would expect to see in Vegas! biggrin.gif

I think whatever side you fight for wins at the end of New Vegas, like the Civil War in Skyrim. I went with NCR, because Annie was an NCR secret agent. Whether or not you recruit or destroy factions probably just determines what slide about them you see in the slide show afterward.

Does the game end? I didn't know it ended! I never reached that point, the farthest I've gotten is taking out House and his robot army in the Legion camp and killing everyone in that first camp - never got to the point in the game where you go up the hill to that Dagoth-Ur mask guy; and my 360 game always crashed fatally before I ever got to make any commitment. (by fatally I mean all the saves became corrupted and you couldn't even go back and try doing something differently. The only non-corrupt save was always the last one in Goodsprings before you left the town for the first time).

Oh, I wish they did have the Lincoln hat/Button wig/Lucky shades and Naughty nightie in Vegas, she would have worn it, lol. I had just started a new game, but I'll get a screenshot of her in it when she gets it all - but the Lincoln hat and wig have to be worn separately now, darn it.

In Vegas, I had to side with the NCR because I spent all my time and bottlecaps at the Mojave Outpost - that guy repairs your equipment to 100%! But what I was trying to do was to get the Boomers and Khans to agree for a truce with the NCR against the Legion - never was able to get the Khans in, but did get the Boomers. (in fact, the first fatal crash I had was going into the Great Khan elder's tent). The next game I avoided going to the Khan, and still had a fatal crash; and every time thereafter no matter how many changes I made in quests I attempted or completed, etc.

I don't know if they ever fixed the issues in the 360 game or not, the last time I played I was really leery of doing any of the quests that crashed it before, and ended up stopping playing before finding out if it was fixed because I started playing Skyrim again.

Is modding in Vegas buggy? (and is it as buggy as modding in Skyrim?) I haven't even installed NV on my PC yet, just bought it.

SubRosa
FONV does end. When you start the final battle at Hoover Dam, it warns you that it is the point of no return. You do have the option of postponing it to whenever you want. But once you say yes, that is it. Like FO3, when you are done, the game ends, and you have to start a new character, or go back to an old save. Unlike FO3 it does not kill your character when it is all over. But unlike FO3 the dlc's don't fix that and let you play beyond the main quest. So be sure you do everything you want to before you fight it out at Hoover.

You destroyed the Securitrons under Caesar's camp? I wanted to keep them and use them for the NCR. But I guess the only way you can do that is if you either work for Mr. House, or replace him. sad.gif

Modding FONV is just like modding FO3. It is basically the same game. So it is easy. FONV just has a few new things added, like a better recipe system for crafting. In fact, the crafting system works about exactly as it does in Skyrim, which is big improvement over FO3.

I can't remember any crafting in FO3, not sure what I missed!

Yeah, I destroyed those securitrons because - truthfully, I'm afraid of the securitrons, lol. They scare the heck out of me, and also - I knew House or Yes-Man would use them, and wasn't sure if the Legion can use them or not - but pretty sure that the Player or NCR can't (unless I'm mistaken - imagine coming to that battle with a full robot army!)

That is what I wanted to do! While the NCR attacked from their end of Hoover Dam, Annie could have activated the robots and sent them to attack the Legion's rear. The bots would have gone through them like Freddie Mercury through a hot guy's... well, you know... tongue.gif

There was a little crafting in FO3. You could make bottlecap mines and nuka grenades, plus some specialty weapons, like the Deathclaw Gauntlet, Rock-it Launcher, and Railway Rifle. But that was the extent of it. And The Pitt had the ammo press that allowed you to convert ammo to different types.

Oh, that is right, what is wrong with my brain! I must have made hundreds of Deathclaw gauntlets and the one that cripples legs by 1000 and uses the paint gun, several Nuka grenades - why didn't I remember that as crafting? I feel so stupid, urk !!!

Okay, I just went on YouTube and watched all the vids of any choice where you have access to that robot army - the only two ways you can use them are Yes Man or House - and you NEVER see that whole army rolling on the Dam, you only see two at a time; and only at the Dam! You have to enter the Legate camp completely alone until the General confronts you at the Legate camp gate!

When the General crashes the gate, then suddenly the whole army of robots is just standing in a clumpy row behind the NCR General; (and you're looking at all these robots and wondering, "Where were you guys when I fought my way across the dam and through this camp alone?")

Still only three ever move (one is Yes Man). To me, that was kind of chickensh!t, you alone against a whole army, then you bring a whole army against one man? I didn't like it at all.

I'm kind of glad I watched that finally, because I too thought of bringing that robot army to the NCR, and there is really no way to do it. I don't think I could play the Wild Card end, turn on everyone like a rabid wolverine like that.

OH! On a completely different subject - while I was trying to learn any possible way you could access those robots, I came across an Easter Egg I have NEVER known about !!!

In New Vegas, while setting your SPECIAL on that machine in Doc's office in Goodsprings - if you set your intelligence at 00, you get a completely unique dialogue options when dealing with NPC's in quests !!!!! It is hilarious !!!!

laugh.gif Freddie Mercury statement above, lol.

You just mentioned something I noticed too. The scale of the big battle was really small. Even President Kimball's speech before hand was pitiful. There were only 3 people there to hear it! Then in the big fight, it was never more than a handful of NCR vs a handful of Legion at a time. I never felt like I was in a big battle at all.

I bet the NPCs call you an idiot if you start with 0 Intelligence! laugh.gif Oh I found it! Some of this dialog is hilarious!

Here's one you just did at the Sierra Madre, lol:

I can't believe they hid that in there, and truthfully if I hadn't seen the vid I'd have never known about it, because you get more points with higher intelligence, so I've always stoked that number, rollinglaugh.gif

Yay for Annie for beating da game! biggrin.gif

House looks quite differently when met in person, doesn't he?

I see that she carries her nice smile even to the final battle.

Nice to see the plane flying over Mojave after many, many years.

mALX: I have always gone with higher intelligence characters too. Like you said, that is where you get your skill points from! Plus I guess I always like smart characters.

Lopov: Annie is my first character to ever finish the main quest in FONV, or do the dlcs for that matter. So that was something.

I do like how they did Mr. House. At first was rather non-plussed at the thought of yet another AI-type mastermind from before the war. FO3 already gave us a pure AI in the form of President Eden, and it also gave us the brain in a jar trope in Point Lookout. At first House struck me as being one or the other. But they kind of did something a little different with him having an actual living body on life support. Having him be the founder of RobCo was a really good touch, as it explained his mastery of robots.

Now that Annie Ley Oak has beaten the game silly, I have moved east to the Capital Wasteland.

Meet Molly Hatchet

How she got her name

Gagh is best served live?!?

Talon Company flyyyinnn soooo hiiiigh

Wow! She really looks like a Raider laugh.gif

Back to the Washington Wasteland it seems.

Well, welcome to Molly! Nice to see her hair color matches her fire axe. I'll assume she's a natural redhead (and not ask drapes/carpet questions) as it looks like her hair color might inspire a bit of a temper as well. An interesting doo for sure – would you call that a twin peacock mohawk mebbe? tongue.gif

Urgh, that bowl of . . . stuff is alive, eh?

Kablamo – nice to see Molly with a big girl gun. It really looks cool in front of her dual mohawks.

Molly on the move – back to her axe namesake hatchet.

Greyditch – I had a chuckle over the poor mail box.

Axing a ghoul! viking.gif

As soon as I saw the title of the last one, I knew to look for teddy bears! happy.gif

How in the world did she fight those ants with an axe !!!!!! Even drinking their nectar to ease the burning they killed me several times, lol.

I love Molly's armor in that Greyditch shot!

This is the first time I've ever actually seen the Survival guide! How odd the world copy of the Repellent stick looks, it looked so different in your hands, lol.

I see Misa has some catching up to do again !!! Awesome shots !!!!

The stick, the guide and the teddy bears - awesome! biggrin.gif

Molly causing havoc in the Mojave!

She painted walls of Springvale school with raider's blood and earned her name.

I'm glad that she taught Talon mercs how to fly.

No mercy for ants and ghouls!

She really deserved some rest, cool looking bedroom.
