What a spectacularly captured encounter with that Glowing One thing. Good thing Holland started off with her shoulder-fired equalizer!
Oh, Buttercups! I remember when she found a whole warehouse of those.
That Nukalurk looks like a Daedroth/Mudcrab hybrid very pretty coloring though. Shoot em in the face!

That was a tough one glowing one! I guess it didn't die because Hollande didn't shoot it in the knee.
The big NukaLurk looks like a formidable foe and somehow I doubt that Hollande's robotic friend managed to seriously harm it.
Yikes, it went straight for Hollande! But she shot it to where it hurts.
Lol @ the Milo dialogue.

Nukalurks are mirelurks that live in the Nuka Cola plant. They have been exposed to the radiation in Nuka Quantum, and which has caused them to mutate even more, in a nuka-like fashion.
Acadian: I wish I modder would make a working Buttercup robo-horse. That would be so neat to have.
Lopov: I was hoping the missile launcher would finish off the Glowing One, but I wasn't counting on it. Those things are tough.
I love that 5.56 dialogue!

Post Modern is a magnificent action shot. I love Hollands expression, her big gurl gun and the flame/spark stuff going on!
Uh oh, looks like one of mirocus bobbleheads got the drop on Holland.
In the Army pic, I love the old billboard signs in the background.
Wow, those commies are certainly rather unattractive, eh?
Bullets passing in flight!
Yup, if Persephone is the Mistress of disarming, Holland is the Queen of beheading!

Renee: That one is the Small Arms Bobblehead, from the National Guard Depot. It is a good one for Holland, as she is an assault rifle user.
Acadian: Those are ghoul commies, so they are not the prettiest. Granted, the normal Reds are not much to look at either, being communist after all!
I love the billboards in this game. They give a wonderful peek into what Pre-War American culture was like.
Lopov: Holland has only found two of the Keller Tapes so far, so the final bunker in the Depot remains undisturbed. Hopefully she will get there.
One thing Holland has a lot of experience at, is killing commies!
She actually did star the Crowley quest, and got two of the keys without having to kill anyone. But she has not gotten any farther. She doesn't trust Crowley, and is not anxious to kill anyone for him. But she is curious about what is locked away in Fort Constantine.
Winter Wolf: Dogmeat! How cute. I love the goggles.

If a Marine can be counted on to do anything, it is to blow stuff up!
I suppose the nearest equivalent to a Feral Ghoul Reaver might be a Draugr Deathlord. The Reavers don't shout, but they do irradiate you, and they are among the most powerful enemies in the game.
That was The Burnmaster, a unique flamethrower. It is tucked away in an easy to miss level. Holland actually had to do some backtracking to find the area, because I missed it the first time through, even though I knew it was there!

Holland would rather have a Marine Corps K9 unit! The Army guy's name is Benji though, so that is halfway there...
Lopov: Anchorage was just like old times on the Yangtze river, at least during winter.
That cemetery is indeed Arlington.
Those Reavers are bullet sponges. They do offer quite a challenge.
Winter Wolf: I just hit the console button quick during combat. Then it is easy. Simply type in TFC 1 and it freezes time.

The Statue of

Interesting design on those Chinese planes. In the first shot, I pondered which was the front end of the planes until I noted their exhaust trails. There design is quite clear however in your second shot.

Renee: I remember the TR game you mean. I think it was the second one, with the Tibetan monastery.
Anchorage Aftermath has a winter landscape, so it makes a great excuse to play some FO3 during your normal winter break from the wasteland.
Acadian: In the case of the Anchorage Memorial statue, Bethesda actually did it in reverse. You find the statue and memorial in the vanilla game, then in the dlc you get to see (and experience) the event it was based on. I thought that was really neat.
The Chinese planes remind me of the old P-38 Lightnings, with those double tail booms.
Holland probably sleeps on the floor! Otherwise the bears might eat her.

Guess who indeed. The Borgishly adorned face and dining habits are very familiar but her name escaped. I had to go back up the thread to find it. You have so many interesting characters, but keeping all their creative names straight does challenge me. Thats probably why I have to limit myself to one character who does not even have a creative name.
So, it is good to see Loviatar again. She is really eating up the old west! Gosh, I hope theres not too much fresh air out there for her.
Renee
Mar 20 2016, 03:02 PM

Loviatar is 'joining' the Powder Gangers. At least until she has time to eat them all...
Lopov: Maybe The Hobo could jump on a train out west. There are plenty of whiskey bottles in the Mojave...
Killing Barton is sort of a rite of passage in New Vegas. Sort of like exploring Vilverin right after exiting the Oblivion tutorial dungeon.

What immortal hand or eye, could frame Loviatar's fearful symmetry?
Lopov: I imagine that Loviatar makes her hair gel of radscorpion poison and centaur blood!

I had to port her Magneto-Laser Pistol over from the Wattz Laser mod for FO3. I brought over a Laser Rifle too, so she might start using that soon too.
Loviatar ordered up the Cheesy Gordita Crunch Gangers for dinner!

Acadian: Loviatar is the Proton Chef.
And the Legion is even led by

If Dwayne Johnson was in the Mojave, Loviatar would have to eat him. She is the Queen Scorpion.
I think you get more good karma for killing certain villains such as the Powder Gangers and feral ghouls than you lose when you eat them. So Loviatar is bound to become a paragon of virtue!

Rain is one think I never bothered with. There are other climate mods that do add it. And it is easy enough to mod into the weather yourself.
New Vegas is much more friendly to the Energy Weapon user. It has more crafting options, like being able to convert one type of energy ammo to another, and to over-charge and optimize your ammo to do more damage. I use my home made simplified ammo crafting to make it ever nicer, by allowing you to use Fission Batteries to create energy ammo. It is really difficult to play an energy-based character in vanilla FO3, because the ammo is so scarce.
Acadian: Halo was one of those occasions where I suddenly though, hey this would be a great place for a screenshot. Then I noticed the setting sun and lined things up to put it around her head.
