Yes, you have to wait for it to reload by itself if you fire 10 successive shots but because of high DPS, it hasn't happened so far that she had to reload except once when she faced a modded character that had enormously high DT.
That's a real centscorpio massacre on the 2nd pic!

Cy's NCR Helmet reminds me of the British pith helmets. I never much liked how the NCR Helmet looked when I was playing Lonesome Dove. But it seems to fit Cyhiraeth. It keeps the sun out of her eyes, and off her neck.
In other news Cyhiraeth finally made it to Novac, and she did buy one of the godzilla toys.

I see that Cy wields a light machine gun. Except vendors, the only location where I know it can be found, is the Quarry Junction - did she find it there?
And she also switched leather for reinforced leather.
Cy is pretty, 1st recon beret suits her nice.

I forget where Cyhiraeth picked up the Light Machine Gun. It was somewhere down south though. She only used it once, against the radscorpions in that dry lakebed south west of Nipton. She sold it off on her first stop at a merchant. It was fun to try though! Cy is still mainly a shotgun sally. She is up to the Riot Shotgun now. That really works wonders with the Shotgun Surgeon perk.
I can see how Blondie got on the Legion's bad side! Good on her!
I see she got her
Cliffracer Mohawk too!
Cazadors, I hate those things...
I don't think I have seen that achievement. But I don't think my characters have ever used the unique weapons much. Cyhiraeth is probably the first, with Lucky. But that is mostly her backup. Her shotguns are her primary.
That is just hilarious about Alice! I guess Blondie must make her nervous!

Contrary to many players that like to boast about their achievements (especially on Beth forums), I don't have a clue about them.

If it happens, then I normally read it when a message appears on screen but otherwise I never know whether my characters are close to achieve something or not. I've also noticed that since she uses a machete gladius (yes, pics are way behind, she doesn't use a combat knife anymore), and anytime she kills a Fiend or some tribal raider, it counts toward a special achievement called
White Line nightmare.

In Blondie's game this encounter didn't happen because she doesn't have the trait but she got the YCS/186 instead, carried by a mercenary.

Since I just remembered that I already used the name Kalaratri for my Dwarven Noble in Dragon Age Origins, I changed my new melee chooper's name to Bellona.
Lopov: Wow, I never saw Freddy Kruger before! That is a neat easter egg.
I have taken the Wild Wasteland trait for all my characters except the very first, which I only played a bit to learn how the game works. I like the little extra weird encounters it adds. I think Indiana Jones in the fridge south of Goodsprings was one of those.
Cyhiraeth is not an energy user, so she just sold off the alien blaster.
Renee: That is a flying saucer in that pic. It is the mesh and texture for the Alien Recon Craft in FO3. It is part of vanilla FO3. The Mothership Zeta dlc has lots more alien stuff as well. I think the only aliens in FONV are those from my pics, and you only get those if you chose the Wild Wasteland trait when you rolled your toon.

Wow, both of you (Lopov & SubRosa) amazing work. It's amazing to me you manage to get such good screenies during action moments. I consider all my Mycharonna pics to be decent, but those are all digicam stills in which my witch is posing/standing still. If any action is going on I'm usually too caught up in it to get pictures.
I have probably asked this before, but are you taking movies (like with FRAPS) and then grabbing screenies from these movies later?
Lopov
Oct 2 2014, 06:32 PM
When not using VATS, I use a combination of tfc 1 (which freezes time) and tm command (which disables menus), then I rotate a camera around to take a pic. When using VATS, I disable menus before confirming an attack, then I press the PrintScreen button during VATS.

SubRosa
Oct 2 2014, 09:23 PM
Yes. It is very easy. All you have to do is hit the key for the console, and that automatically pauses the game while you type in the commands.
Lopov
Oct 3 2014, 10:33 PM
Renee, just don't try and rotate a camera in VATS, because a screen gets blurred as soon as you enter tfc, it uses some VTAS-exclusive animations.

She took this machete from a legionnaire whom she killed. The pic was taken on a worktable because by my rules she's only allowed to repair weapons on such worktables. In fact you can repair your weapons anywhere, as long as you have similar weapons or weapon repair kits but I prefer my rules.

I guess it's something similar to your flying radscorpion pic. I don't know why but sometimes it happens that when shot, enemies are forcefully thrown in the air. Results are usually hilarious.

I believe the distance people fly up in the air when you kill them is directly related to the amount of damage beyond their total health they incur. Because when you really hit them, they go flying. It is in Oblivion and Skyrim too. That is why when a Giant hits someone with a power attack, it sends them into orbit.
That grease gun and hunting rifle are no match for a gauss rifle. I love the hole in the electrical tower in the background of the second pic!

Some more pics than usual for today...
Blondie returned to her employer only to find him gone. But there was a
note, which revealed what
happened to her employer Randall.
Blondie met Javier, one of a few people who managed to
knock Blondie down. Though
not for long. As Acadian says,
there can be only one. Following a lead left behind by Randall, Blondie
left the bounty office, determined to find Cormac, a man who knows where to find the Judge.
A few days later she
located him in the Fiend territory.
Stepping carefully, Blondie caught Cormac by
surrprise, first
throwing him down from
a trailer, then
crippling his head, and then
sending him to where she sent Javier. A holotape on Cormac's body revealed a location of the Judge's bunker but before heading there, Blondie decided to buy "something special" for the Judge. What was it? Don't miss it in the next installment.

A special enemy deserves a special treatment - Blondie bought a
present for the Judge. A few days later she entered the wolves' den, obviously guards were expecting her and they
let her pass. Blondie had a feeling that these guys won't survive to see another day...
...she finally met the infamous Judge, the
man responsible for making her unemployed. He talked and talked, but Blondie had only one
message for him.
And so began...the historical...Mojave...Chainsaw...Massacre!...after which Blondie needed some
rest. Later victorious Blondie
left the Judge's bunker, smoking a fine pre-war cigar, having just closed an important chapter of her life.
