I installed some new mods today and among others I was searching for a mod that'd disable a cinematic camera when my companions kill enemies but I didn't find any. The thing is that I don't mind a cinematic cam when my characters make a kill but it's annoying when my companions do it because it may pop up while fighting. So now I have a camera disabled but this means that I can't take any good action shots.

Goodman is looking very dapper in his suit and Indy Jones hat. He'd better watch for Radscropions on those tracks though! I often run across the submersible variety, that are almost completely underground, except for the stingers sticking up through the ground like periscopes.

She has the Animal Friend perk, so they are friendly. Except for the Fire Gecko variety, which are still hostile for some reason.

She found those Geckos running away from a Giant Radscorpion, and pitched in with her .50 cal to even up the odds.

Indeed, indeed, there were plenty of such kind in the Hidden Valley and Lopov just disabled them with the console, to prevent their stingers from clipping through the ground. There've also been some scorpions, able to walk upright. I avoid them whenever I can.

I didn't know that the AF perk makes most of the geckos friendly but that's good to know because I'll probably give him that perk when the appropriate level comes.

I love the shot where she rescues geckos. Is that rifle on her back modded or something vanilla?

Dove carries the Anti-Material Rifle. It is the version from the Gun Runners Arsenal dlc, which has a few upgrades. But it still looks the same as the vanilla A-M Rifle. As far as I can tell, it is the Real Life Hecate II.

Funny thing I noticed is that FONV also has a 12.7mm submachine gun and pistol. They have ammo that is different from .50 caliber ammo. But 12.7mm is .50 caliber!

Nice shots, I like what she did to Motor Runner! But when I saw the last shot, I remembered when one of my first characters sat there for the 1st time. I had speakers set to very loud and suddenly walls at both sides opened...that was how one of my first DiD stories in NV ended.

I was surprised when the walls opened up after Dove sat in that chair in the vault and watched the movie. I think she died too, and I had to reload. I was expecting something, but that was a bit more than I anticipated!

Raul is a blast, I've never had him as a companion before, because my characters rarely travel in a company. They did good job with him, he's very sarcastic, that's what I like, and he's more than decent with his gun, Goodman really has to do his best to outmatch him. But that's OK, because his (and mine) shooting skills got better because of that. I only use VATS when using explosives, otherwise not.

They are the from the NCR prison, which is over a ridge east of Primm. The convicts didn't just escape, they rose up and killed the guards and turned the prison into their base.

Goo piles were a must at the beginning, now she likes to switch to a combat knife to keep things fresh and interesting. In the end it comes down to whatever enemy she's facing.

What's the problem here? They are convicts who have escaped. Thus escaped convicts. Just joking, SR said most of it, I'd just add that they are a part of a major faction, called Powder Gangers but PGs aren't hostile by default while EC are, that's why they are categorized as an individual faction. Powder Gangers got their name because their main weapon is a dynamite.

I thought FONV was in Nevada? Well I suppose everything south west of Primm is California. Is that one of the dlc's where she crosses state lines? I don't remember seeing those signs in the vanilla game.

Those signs are west of Nipton, as far as I know, they've always been there, even in the vanilla game.

There is some adult content in these pics because I use a body replacer, although I use an underwear version when not wearing any armor, some armor is slightly revealing when worn. If anyone's offended by this, don't look at the pics.

Just kidding as well. Lopov's first shot is the only one that is rather risque - yet it is such a fabulous action shot that it is hard not to really appreciate it. That is why I have not removed it nor asked Lopov to do so. I'm not encouraging risque screenshots - if someone objects to it, let me or Lopov know via PM and we can take action if needed. Similarly, if another mod feels that it crosses the line, they can certainly remove it and I will not feel 'overruled'.

*1 - there's a bandana on Jessup's head which Blondie took and is now wearing it, as a souvenir from the thug who buried her alive.

*2 - Benny is the antagonist in the game and the man who shots your character in a head at the beginning of New Vegas. In the last pic Benny was already dead but we RP-ed that he was just knocked down and that Blondie finished him off with a headshot, returning the favor.

This is the last set of so-called adult shots because Benny completely destroyed Blondie's armor so she's now wearing another one, much less revealing.

I see you get that weird light haze during the day around New Vegas too. It is one of the reasons that I don't like the place. I read up on it, and it is a light dome they put in so it looks all lit up at night. The trouble is, it is on all the time.

I love that last pic of Blondie holding Maria up to Benny's face (I always figured he was named after Benny Siegal).

So that's the reason for the odd light in the area, I didn't know this. I don't like it either, and it extends all the way up to the Northern Passage. Maybe some weather mods fix this but I don't use them, because I don't want them interferring with Darker Nights mod.

I think that Benny is supposed to be a refernce to Bugsy Siegel, their outfits are similar as well.

Thanks! I love her bandana too, there's some hair clipping but it fits well with her hairstyle. I think that she found a headgear for life.

Once there was a very evil Fiend, named Driver Nephi, wielding the eponymous golf club that killed many, many people. And once there was a young bounty hunter, called Blondie, wielding the trustworthy combat knife, and she wanted to smear her knife with Nephi's blood.




At first they were just warming up. But then things got serious and Blondie knocked down Driver Nephi. There were moments when they both hit each other or missed each other. But in the end only one could prevail, and that was Blondie. Knowing that she'll earn no more than 250 caps for killing him, Blondie took his eponymous golf club to sell it, and slowly walked back to McCarran.

Friday night at the Fights!

Another win for Blondie! That's neat looking knife she was using.

Yup, that's her trustworthy combat knife. At first she didn't mean to use it so often, but energy cells for her plasma defender are hard to find, so she uses knife to save ammunition. But with time she got in love with it.

Another duel took place in the Wild West and another Fiend had died. This time Blondie faced an extremely dark-skinned girl called Violet. Violet was surrounded by many feral dogs so Blondie sneaked to her hideout, but Violet's dogs alerted their owner of an intruder, and so the duel was at hand. It lasted much shorter than the one with Nephi, Violet wasn't as strong and she relied on a hunting rifle instead of a melee weapon. A few well placed swings were all that was needed to end Violet's life. Her puppies attacked afterwards but Blondie dealt with them too. After the fight was over, she posed on Violet's corpse, until someone took a pic of her. Looks like it's her habit to pose on her dead enemies on occasion. Afterwards she headed back to McCarran, meeting an NCR patrol on the way.

Thank you all for liking my pics and to encourage me to make even more. By now I regularly use tfc 1 & tm commands to freeze time, move camera around and take screenies. If I only figured out how to remove annoying drops of blood that appear on the screen whenever Blondie is hit. Hmmm...

I loved it immensely the first time around! I got so immersed (! ) to the point I didn´t even want to go beyond the docks/fair because I was too afraid of what would be waiting for me!
