PL looks awesome but that's all there is to it. Except one quest where you have to finish some pre-war business, I didn't really like any quests there.

This black combat armor is hard to get in New Vegas because it is only worn by a specific faction and the only way to get it is to kill them, yet they aren't hostile to the player by default. But there is one location in the Mojave where you find corpses of some members of this faction and Blondie couldn't resist striping a dead man of his precious and sturdy armor.

I was going to say, there is a raided caravan east of New Vegas where you can loot the black armor off some corpses. Blondie is looking good from behind!

I love the shot where she's walking away, looks like something out of a movie.

By the way, have a look at this vid. Starting at about 0:25. Good lord, the likeness between the two Blondies is uncanny. Especially their brows and the way their faces are kinda elongated. Off-topic, but I am a little disappointed by that vid. She's lip-synching, not actually singing.

Hehe, they are similar indeed. I googled some more pics of Blondie's lead singer Debbie Harry in her younger days and found this pic, where they seem the most similar, and you're right about their face shape, they both have elongated faces. They're easier to compare in this pic because not all of Debbie's hair is visible.

Well, I already said that Blondie's name was inspired by the band of the same name, but I didn't notice the likeness between her and the singer, that is because I didn't know how Debbie Harry even looks like until today.

Nice shots, especially the last one, you positioned the camera in such a way that the pier is completely hidden so it looks like the ship is sailing. BTW, do you use any face/body mods because I notice a slight color difference in Angela's face and body.

Those with high Perception will notice that Blondie is unarmed on the 1st, 2nd and 5th pic. That is, because the Ranger Takedown move (2nd & 5th pic) can only be peformed while unarmed (or wielding any unarmed weapons, which Blondie doesn't). In the 3rd pic she's armed with her combat knife, because she knocked Eileen down thanks to the Super Slam! perk, which requires a melee weapon. The duel took so long because Eileen is/was one really mean Fiend who enjoyed torturing her victims before killing them, so Blondie humiliated her combat skills before finishing her off.

I was wondering if that was the Ranger Takedown move! Neat to see it. Lonesome Dove learned it, but being a sniper, never had the opportunity to use it.

There are more such moves but they're unlocked either by quests or by choosing correct dialogue options with people that can teach you. I know that one move can be learned by some high-ranking Legion member.

That is from just outside of Anchorage Alaska. It is from when Caillie teamed up with the U.S. Army to retake Anchorage and open up the pipeline, in the closing days of the Great War.

Those Fallout music videos in the Animated Videos thread prompted me to create Comanche Moon. I am still not sure if she will stick with the lever action rifle, or go with a shotgun. But I do want to try Lincoln's Hat with the rest of her outfit.

It's both big and powerful though it's very slow, consumes a lot of action points and requires a high energy weapons skill (75) to be properly used. But it kills even high-leveled creatures with one or two shots.


She looks good though I was hoping that you will create a new character in NV. Is Lonesome Dove your only character in the Mojave?

I had a few FONV characters before Lonesome Dove.

Shi was my Glarrg character, who I played briefly to learn the game with.

Then there was my science geek Aurora. Naturally I took the four eyes trait with her.

But FONV does not do as much for me as FO3. It is too linear, so I find it less interesting to replay it. I much prefer the wide open world of FO3, where I can pick any direction and just start walking right from the start of the game.

Yeah, I agree that exploration in FO3 is way better than in NV, also locations as such are more interesting to explore. It's still a great game IMO, and characters are more complex than in FO3 but if it weren't for mods by Someguy2000, I'm not sure if I'd still be playing NV.

Love the formal wear those maked goons are wearing It's funny they are fighting with canes while Blondie's using a daggar.

Those canes aren't as innocent as they may seem, although this fight happened awhile back, I remember that Blondie was crippled when it was over.

The canes and tophats sort of remind me of the delinquents in A Clockwork Orange, and their white outfits and hats.

The mod author said that it is a reference to A Clockwork Orange indeed, masked goons are named Alex, Georgie, Dim and Pete, so they have the same names as characters in the book.

The best thing about MF HA is that it doesn'r require any ammunition, it uses a Microfusion Breeder which reloads the gun by itself.

FONV looks bit like Elsweyr. Well, except for the power lines and such.

Wow, like it needs a bonus critical chance when it is doing 174 points of damage with one shot!

Novac is my favorite place in the Mojave.

She hasn't bought a godzilla yet, and Cliff is deeply saddened because of this.

I think that MF HA is the most powerful one-handed energy weapon, though according to Wiki Pew Pew is better in some attributes, but nothing can beat the ridiculosly high DPS damage.

Now unless I make some stupid mistake, I think that Blondie should be alive for long because her weapons can bring down even the strongest enemies fairly easy.

Sierra Madre will still be a challenge though - if she ever ventures there.

I think I remember that gun now. Aurora tried it out, but I think there was a wait time between shots that she did not like, so she never used it much.
