Leaving Bliss, Vion walked through what he called "the mushroom avenue". He passed the legendary ruin of Milchar and spent the night by a nearby lake, to be awakened by the warm Sun.

He found Hale, a small settlement of artists, among which was also Halion, quite a poet. To Vion's surprise, Hale was also a home to another dweller from Cyrodiil - Pyke. Pyke was a former Knight of the Thorn from Cheydinhal and he asked Vion to retrieve his stolen amulet from nearby Fetid Grove.

At night residents of Hale locked themselves in their houses and Vion climbed up a giant root to find a place to sleep. The next day he walked to Fetid Grove, found its "heart", and gathered some amber.

He returned to Hale in the late afternoon and returned the found medallion to Pyke. His words made Vion think whether he'll ever return to Cyrodiil himself. He spent another night atop the giant root, reading Saints and Seducers before sleeping.

Vion is making me homesick for the Isles - my 360 is broken and I don't have Shivering Isles for the PC. I may need to see about buying it. sad.gif

Great shots!

mALX: It is nice to be back in Cyrodiil again, after being away for so long. Tbh, one of the big reasons I am not interested in ESO is that I could not play my favorite characters in it. It is has a class system, and there is no modding. I could not play Persephone because while she is mainly a fighter, she is also a necromancer as well. Conjuring the Darryls is just as much a part of who she is and what she does as swinging a greatsword. Likewise, while Teresa of the Faint Smile is mainly a woodsy archer, conjuring animals is just as much a part of her as using a bow. Of course I'd never be able to do either in ESO. sad.gif

I am using Qarls Texture Pack 3, which really turns up the quality on the textures. It really makes it look like a different game. I am also using the face textures from Robert's Female Bodies (but not the actual body textures or meshes laugh.gif) I liked the BAB body a little better, but I think Robert's has the best facial textures I have seen for Oblivion.

That you too, Agarmir?

Does ESO not have conjuration? And I thought you could play as necromancers in it? I'll have to re-look that back up. And can you not use a combination of weapons or weapons and magic? I didn't know that either.

Did you just pull the facial textures out and over-write Bab's with them?

Ha! I recognize Agarmir's dead body, lol.

But ... who's grave is that in the second screen? Where is Nath Dyer? Gaaaaah!

I love these shots of the sun on Persephone's face, gorgeous! Is that a pose mod? That has to be the best sqatting sit I've seen yet!

Awesome shots!

Maxical heard Persephone had come to Cyrodiil, and hurried to meet up with her so maybe they could adventure together.

Since I have no way to start Maxical again without losing her face (which took me forever to perfect; so this is still her original game that I just kept restarting at the opening of the Imperial Sewers) I decided in order for her to really follow in Persephone's footsteps she would have to break back into the Imperial dungeon.

I had to use the console to unlock doors all the way through, and in a few places toggle clipping to get through walls that broke away or moved by scripts that were no longer running.

I was surprised to find Mythic Dawn assassins; Glenroy; and Captain Renault all standing still in various places - Renault and Glenroy were both in the rooms they die in. Renault was standing right next to a Mythic Dawn assassin and they were just standing there side by side!

Well, I killed all the Mythic Dawn I found even though they didn't attack me for some odd reason. I talked to both GlenRoy and Captain Renault; both had specific conversation related to the tutorial dungeon they would have spoken before the Emperor's (and their own) death.

Then I got back in the original jail cell the game starts in. So I wondered what would happen if I went back out through the main prison exit. So I consoled the jail cell gate open; stopped and spoke to Valen Dreth (who had generic rumors); then headed up the stairs to the Imperial Prison rotunda.

At the top of the stairs was the Emperor - DEAD, but standing upright! Next to him was Baurus, who force greeted me, and then went into the dialogue that would have changed my class and possibly some of my stats, so I backed out of that by reloading the save right before I picked my way out of the jail cell, lol.

When I got to the inner sanctum, Glenroy was fighting two Mythic Dawn - which he killed! So both Glenroy and Renault were still alive when I left the Tutorial dungeon.

When I got outside the dungeon, none of the map markers were showing anymore for places I'd found previously.

Maxical is working her way over to the Imperial City to search for Persephone in case she needs help handling Argemir, lol.

SubRosa, these are fabulous shots and it is so nice to see Persephone in Oblivion. Although Teresa will probably always be my fave of your characters, Persephone has been around long enough to have quite grown on me as well. Her timeless melancholy, not to mention the possibilities provided by death/immortality do indeed lend her an enduring quality. It always pulls at the heartstrings when she ponders the identity of a skeleton – perhaps one of her friends from forever ago?

MALX, I also use and endorse QTP3 as an Oblivion graphics mod. What command console crazy fun you had in the tutorial dungeon with Maxical! So nice to see our kit adventuring again! Looks like we need to get Maxical a purse phone so she can call Persephone. *groan*

Wow, it is great to see Maxical again! The archmage better hide the watermelons! Please tell me she is not armed with a bow, otherwise I think Persephone might have to hide inside one of the ruins to protect her rear from accidental perforations! laugh.gif

You should be able to start a new game with her old face though. Start a brand new game, and set your race and sex, and don't bother with anything else. Save and exit. Now use use Oblivion Face Exchange Lite to open one of your old saves of Maxical, and click on the Copy Face to Clipboard button. That copies her face info. Now go to the brand new save you just made, select it, and click on Edit Save file down in the bottom left corner of the window. That brings you to a Change Face screen. Just click on the Paste button at the upper left. It will give you another prompt asking you how much you want to copy over, just the geometry (how the face is actually shaped), hair style, eye color and so forth. If you don't have the exact same hair or eye mods installed that you had with original Maxical, it is best to copy just the geometry and texture data, and leave all the rest blank. You can change the hair and all that easily enough in the game later. Now save it to new savegame and you are done.

Of course I am lying, you are not done. If you use OBSE (and let's face it, who doesn't?) then your game is going to lock up whenever you try to open your inventory. This is because Obse creates a second save file of its own for every savegame you make. If you look in your save game folder (probably My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves), you will see all of your savegames. They all have a *.ess name. The OBSE files all have a *.obse extension. Just find that brand new save game you made at the start of all this, and copy its .obse file. Paste it in the same folder, and then change its name to match that of the newest save you made with Face Exchange Lite.

Now you are all set, with Maxi2.0 looking just like the original. You can use showracemenu to change her hair, eyes, and so on for more tweaking.

This is really great with save games you can download just for the faces. Making a good face in Oblivion is hard. But there are plenty of people who have managed to make some good ones, and posted their savegames on the Nexus. Just download some saves you like. Start a new game like I showed you with the same race and gender, and copy the face with Face Exchange. I have done it more than once. I am such a perfectionist that I naturally spend another twenty minutes tweaking the faces even then.

This is a great help, Thank you! Can I paste a face onto an NPC I make as a follower?

What I have always done in the past is to make a save just before exiting the sewers so I could start at that point and play a new game any time I wanted (and if I wanted even change the race/class/appearance/etc).

Unfortunately, I accidentally saved over my beginning save a long time ago, so couldn't start a new game. When I came out of that dungeon and saw all the locations reset and Maxical at level #1 (I instantly saved it so I could always go back to that point) - as long as I remember not to save over it; or don't accidentally save over it again, lol.

Thank you again for the step by step, I really appreciate that a lot !!! I downloaded the mod, have been wanting something like that for a long time.

I think the only way you can transfer a PCs face to an NPC in Oblivion is by using Wyre Bash. Since I don't use it, I don't know how it is done. sad.gif

Okay. I think what I can do is to play the character when I need to make screenshots of them (like I did for the screens of Malan a few years ago). I don't have a story anymore, so probably won't do even that, lol. But it is nice to know how to do the Player, I def appreciate that!

Here you go. Feel free to PM me if you get stuck. I've done it with Julian, in hopes of importing her into Tallei's game. What you want to do is create a plug in with the PC's face so you can add her as an NPC. Make sense?

Welcome back to Cyrodiil, Maxical. Enjoy your stay.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ May 19 2015, 07:03 PM) *

Renee: The truth is, I cannot count how many times I have remade Persephone's face since I created her late Friday night. Every time I think I have it good, I see it from a different angle and cringe. I have gone back to the drawing board and started over from scratch at least three or four times. I think I finally have it together now. I just hope I don't jinx it by saying that!

You cringe? Why? I don't understand.

I mean, I do understand, but I don't understand. I've been there before, when I cringe after making a character. I remember when I created my Lady Saga character on Xbox, I was comparing the face I made on PS3, and trying to make her look similar. I thought I had her nailed. Then I saw "her" outside of CharCreation, and I cringed, because she looked like a man. XD

But that's different from the reason you cringe, right?

Love those pics by the way, especially Old Friend and Vilverin!
SubRosa
mALX: Maxical's adventures are just as madcap as ever! laugh.gif I think it is hilarious that Glenroy and Captain Renault are alive this time. It is neat that they actually had things to say, beyond just the random rumor topic. Valen Dreth is friendly? The world turned upside down! biggrin.gif

I missed how pretty Cyrodiil can be too. And Persephone did explore Vilverin, and she stopped off at Weye and did some fishing. So Maxical is following in her footsteps. She didn't go down to Bravil though. Instead she has headed west to Chorrol, and up into the mountains beyond.

Acadian: One of those things about Persephone that really sets her apart from my other characters is her immortality. Everyone she has known has died, and turned to dust, before her eyes. Every time she meets someone she knows that will be their fate as well. That is why she can have a short fuse, and kill half the Thieves Guild within 30 seconds of walking in Riften. They are all dust to her, and how much value can you place on dust? Yet at the same time she can recognize that the fleeting nature of life is what makes it precious. What makes flowers smell sweeter for them, the sun's rays warmer, the summer breeze's more comforting, etc... She just wishes she could grasp those feelings again.

Renee: I cringe. I want it to look just right, and Oblivion has too many controls to make the faces with, which effect too many other things. You change one thing, and it changes two other things in the bargain. Getting people to look the way I want them too is always a battle.

Most of the following landscape has been added by Unique Landscapes: Cloudtop Mountains.

After 4,000 years, Persephone has returned to the place of her birth: Lipsand Tarn

Colovian Sunset

The summit of Colovia Horn, where Persephone has built a new lair

The first ring has a desk for writing, alchemy station, some bookcases waiting to be filled, and chairs and benches to relax upon

Down in the pit is a living space with bed, kitchen table, pantry, and some storage (in case she has a guest who actually eats or sleeps)

Persephone was born in Lipsand Tarn? Oh how I would love to hear that story!

Uh...I don't recognize some of these, (Like Hammerfell Pass and the statues, and the statue of Rislav - the only one I've seen is inside the city of Skingrad I think - I might be remembering wrong).

All these screens are beautiful! That tower mod you made is awesome! I like the deck stairs added, would not have thought of doing that!

btw, does anyone know where the quote "Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old, my kin." is from?

Persephone's story came together for me a while back. She was born a slave of the Ayleids, and took part in Alessia's Revolution. She was killed in the battle to take the Imperial City, which is where he life took a turn for the weird.

A necromancer named Haides - who would never call himself a necromancer - got ahold of her body. He was seeking to defeat death itself, by creating eternal life. He was a Pre-Modern Prometheus. Haides even has a theme song. He replaced Persephone's heart with varla stone crystal, and essentially wired up her body with more of the crystal, like veins. He transformed her, so that she would subsist off of magicka, rather than food, water, and air. Her heart gathers in magicka from the sky just as the Ayleid wells do, and then redistributes it through her body, like a giant battery. Of course he had to cut out her real heart to do this, and reanimate her. It worked, and she came back. But not alive of course. She is as undead as any Lich or Wraith.

Persephone was only the prototype. Haides planned to make many more like her. He went to Alessia to sell the idea to her. He could make her an entire army of undead warriors, who didn't need to eat, or drink, or sleep, or feel. But she turned him down. He was a necromancer after all. Then she ordered him to be arrested. But Haides escaped with Persephone. He fled to Skyrim, since it was the only other human-ruled place in Tamriel. He tried to make more like Persephone, but failed every time. He did not realize it, but he had made her within White Gold Tower, and its own natural magic had been a part in her creation.

In time, Haides fell in with a group of necromancers. Then he fell out with them. Naturally a lot of killing was involved. It ended with the ruins they were laired in collapsing, and Haides being run through with a broken support beam. Dying, Haides gave Persephone her freedom (He had created her heart in two pieces, the big part in her chest, and a smaller piece on a ring he wore. But both were connected, and functioned as one). He took the crystal from his ring and put it in her chest, fusing it with the rest of her heart. Now finally free, Persephone strangled him. She still does not know if it was an act of revenge, or mercy.

The shot of Persephone at Lipsand Tarn is wonderful. The poignancy of it is nicely set off by showing us what a very nice butt she has. happy.gif

Agarmir got what he deserved, as did his accomplice. It's funny how not playing OB for some time made me think that Agarmir is accompanied by a Khajiit in the tomb, I even checked it on the UESP. Looks like I mixed it up with the quest in Bravil where you have to find the missing husband, and there's a Khajiit archer at the end.

--

Even when covered in mist, Mania was a beautiful place.

Vion made sure to pick up some alocasia, the most tasteful fruit he ever tried.

He got a lesson in Blade from Big Head. Point them out, never in!

Then he spent some time at the Sacellum of Arden-Sul though he didn't exactly understand who or what was he supposed to worship. But in the end, he was in the land of insane, so thinking too hard was pointless.

He went up to the Palace Grounds the next day...but he feared to approach the Mad God himself. So after admiring the Daedric Lord from a safe distance, Vion left his Palace.

Soon he was out again, adventuring. He returned to Knotty Bramble to get more cure for Sickly Bernice from the Shrine of Grummites.

He tried his newly-found steel shield on a skinned hound. In fact the shield wasn't new, Vion took it from a skeleton guardian in Xavara but it was almost as good as new.

Vion felt pity for cursed souls of the Hill of Suicides who were doomed to wander the hill eternally because they dared to commit a suicide in the Shivering Isles. But he figured out that if he finds their remains scattered all over the Isles, he can free pour souls. One of such souls was Lorenz Bog-Trotter, a former knight. But Vion found his skull and returned it, so Lorenz was finally liberated and thanked Vion by healing him.

Yay, Persephone in Cyrodiil!! She looks almost luminous in that jail cell, as if dirt dare not touch her. Ooo, I love her hair, and her really big sword. Captain Piccard looks like he doesn’t quite know what to make of her. Lol, a brown-pants moment for Ormil. No need for sunscreen. Dockside is my favorite of this group. Persephone looks as great as ever, and slim Darryl, too!

I expected that Persephone would have no patience with grave-robbers. Aw, it’s always sad to see her with the long-dead fragments from her past. Help the Light is my favorite from these, Persephone looks so lovely. And her ‘back’ looks quite nice in Looking Back. hehe.gif

Persephone is in Lord of the Rings! That’s Aragorn’s line when they pass the Argonath. I thought of that scene when I wrote about Jerric and Martin in the Great Forest, since if memory serves that is the first time that the future king is visible in the man. Hammerfell Pass and Colovian Sunset are my favorites in this group. What’s an undead girl to do? Excellent lair! It breaks my heart for Persephone that she anticipates the needs of a possible mortal guest. She seems torn between reaching out and turning away.

Lopov, it was great to see Vion make his way in the Isles. It’s so beautiful there! I haven’t seen most of the locations. The sky and light and those mushrooms look amazing! My favorite is reading Saints and Seducers, because, well, Vion! biggrin.gif

And Vion finds himself in another court. I think he was wise to keep a low profile there. Lorenz Bog-Trotter is my favorite picture. What a neat shot, and a fun story.

mALX, Maxical had such an adventure confusing everyone in the prison! It’s great to see her again. The dead-not-dead emperor was very creepy. I like the one resting against the stone wall the best.

Lopov - More great shots from Vion's travels in the SI! Yup, a beautiful place. I figure when in the Mad God's church, one worships the Mad God. tongue.gif If that guy on the throne is as grumpy as Vion's father, then he was wise to leave. Very cool how you took the shot of Vion through Lorenz's transparent ghostly form.

Thank you!

Mania

He got a lesson in Blade from Big Head. Point them out, never in!

so thinking too hard was pointless.

Vion found his skull and returned it, so Lorenz was finally liberated and thanked Vion by healing him.

When you said you thought his accomplice was Khajiit I thought you were remembering the "Collector" quest where you are ambushed by one of Umbacano's other adventurers and his friends (of which one is Khajiit).

This is probably the prettiest screen I've ever seen of the Isles! For some reason I never think of it having beauty - maybe because it has been so long since I've played it; I don't have Shivering Isles for the PC, and my 360 broke last year. But it definitely looks beautiful in this screen!

"Thinking" had me in stitches, how did you get Vion to make that face? It looks exactly like you captioned it, lol. I LOVE that one!

I made the mistake of returning all the skulls at once - kind of defeats/wastes the nice blessing you get for helping them. But I love that quest regardless of the blessing.

Great shots, and once again - I can't help raving over what a great job you did on Vion! He is a work of art!

Creepy is a perfect description, it sent a shiver down my spine to see him standing up looking like that, he never moved (neither did the assassin behind Baurus) - but it still kind of shocked me when Baurus said he had failed him because that is when I realized he was actually dead standing up.

It has been six years since this save was started, but I think what happened that caused this glitch - I'm pretty sure I left the jail cell using the console.

I had heard about "Coc Testinghall" and wanted to try it out - it took me out of the jail cell, and I couldn't get back in, didn't know how to use clipping or "unlock" then; and when/if you come through from the Dark Brotherhood quest way it resets everything differently. (I haven't done that quest, so nothing has been reset).

If I'm not mistaken, that is why everything is weird in there. The reason why I think that is - Maxical doesn't have any "Birthsign" or "Class" listed on her journal stats.

Wow, Mania is colorful even in the fog!

Alocasia looks like the most inviting food in the Isles to me as well.

btw, does anyone know where the quote "Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old, my kin." is from?

Persephone's history is amazing, I love this!

Necromancy - Now in both my stories I have had a theme of necromancy underlying or overlaying the storyline because to me it is an area that - no matter how black and white they try to make it, necromancy really is a gray area.

There has always been a fine line between necromancy and the study of medicine. Even to this day the medical schools bring in cadavers for the students to learn on; people whose remains are made wards of the State because there is no family.

Here in TN they are placed (after their use has been fulfilled in the classroom) onto a "body farm" where forensic science learns about decomposition from them - all are kept above ground, but some are placed in water/mud/sunlight/shade/etc - to mimic the different environments and study how these differences effect the process.

One of the prominent politicians in this area was a surgeon/physician that had (unsupervised and unauthorized) practiced on cats he adopted from the local shelter - with no survivors. Let me tell you, I would not want to be a patient of this man's. (Bill Frist):

http://www.upi.com/Science_News/2002/12/31...35461041383589/

Then you have to look at Steve Austin, the 6 Million Dollar Man. Was that necromancy performed on him, or technology?

*

Then you really hit on another thing that has fascinated me from day one in TES lore - the untapped power of these magic stones like Varla and Welkynd stones. To have Persephone kept alive eternally via a Varla stone is as AWESOME as it gets, I WOO HOO'd over that!

OMG, the addition of the White Gold Tower meaning she will always be the only one - this is fascinating !!!! I am loving this background story !!!!!

So when you say Persephone was "born" at Lipsand Tarn, was this before the necromancy and Haides or are you referring to her "rebirth" by Haides when this took place?

Awesome background story!

I used White Gold Tower partly to make her unique. But also because it is more than just a building. Like The Throat of the World, or Red Mountain, or Adamantine Tower, etc... it is a place of special magical and mythic significance. Persephone's undead resurrection was really out of the ordinary, so I thought it demanded some out of the ordinary power to make it happen.

Persephone was born the first time, for real, as a living baby that poops and pees in Lipsand Tarn. Like I said, she was born a slave of the Ayleids, and she took part in Alessia's Revolution. She died in the battle to take the Imperial City, and afterward was resurrected in White Gold Tower.

mALX: It is weird that both Maxical and Peresphone went off in opposite directions and each found a suicide victim! ohmy.gif

You pegged it on Lord of the Rings. When I saw those two statues on the stairs, I immediately thought of the scene at the Argonath, with the two great statues of the Gondorian kings of old.

Acadian: It might be a good thing that Persephone cannot feel what it feels like to feel. After all, being dead probably would not feel very good. I imagine that what she feels the most is cold, all the time.

Sadly, Persephone has neither horse nor phantom, so the Call of the Corsair is lost upon her. She still remembers when that young lad Rislav learned it however... wink.gif

Her new lair is in part for the isolation that Persephone needs in order to "let her hair down" and be herself, without worrying about what mortals will do if they discover she is undead. The other part is that the Colovian Highlands are her homeland. While she was born and raised in an Ayleid city, places like Colovian Horn are human made. They are among the oldest places to belong to her race, not her masters. So there is a powerful dose of nostalgia, from those heady early days of freedom, before death and Haides took her.

Lopov: Persephone cannot ever pass up a grave. As Acadian pointed out recently, it is probably someone she knew.

Back in my Teresa fic, I established that Alessia's Revolution began in Lipsand Tarn. I don't remember if the actual books in the game agree, they are kind of vague on a lot of things. But I am keeping Persephone's story in line with my own Tamrielic mythology. Persephone was one of the first freedom fighters, right from the beginning of the Revolution, so she had to be from Lipsand Tarn as well.

I really liked the idea of an open-air lair as well. Though I suspect Persephone may not be as keen on it once it rains... wink.gif

Grits: One of the plus sides of being undead is that even the dirt is afraid of her! laugh.gif

Persephone is packing trollfs Empire Greatsword. I found it a while ago, and have been waiting for the right character to use it with.

Help the light find my face is from one of Persephone's theme songs. I instantly thought of it when I saw that picture.

Persephone is always torn between reaching out and turning away. That is another one of her songs in fact. One one hand, everyone she meets is going to die and become one of those skeletons she sometimes finds laid out on a funeral bier. On the other hand, she wants to feel what it feels like to feel, and she wants to be better than what she is. To feel the new wind of change, on the wings of the night.

It seems the orcs of this era have no need for shirts...

Marching back to Chorrol with the Odill family, their farm now safe from goblin attack

Persephone tries to remember what the blessings of the Divines felt like

Some light reading

Home sweet home

Still reading

This is probably the sixth or seventh major revision of Persephone's face. Hopefully the last.

Holy Cow, this is a tremendous roleplay/background for Persephone. What a powerful paragraph that is, and what a struggle she endures with time having no meaning. Hard to make friends when it only means to see them shrivel before her eternal youth.

But maybe if someone cared enough, they would want to offer themselves to her for summoning, to aid her in battle once more. Be that summoned Skeleton Champion, etc for her.

Oh, I just love her story so much!

Is that the Chorrol Fighters Guild? Lol, you must have an Orc enhancing mod; he looks nothing like the Chorrol Fighters Guild Orc in my game, laugh.gif

Urk, the Odill boys. I HATE that quest! It is like the Bruma Great Gate battle or the Farwell quest, I have to redo it hundreds of times to leave there with both boys intact!

This Wayshrine is at the end of the road west of Chorrol, isn't it? I love that area. Will Persephone have the Fighters Stronghold DLC Battlehorn Castle down there? There is a necromancer that lives in the dungeon below it, which may tie into her storyline.

Ooh, she is reading the two books you told me about! And I love the sad cat climbing on her back!!!!! It looks like he is kneading her back with his paws, my cat used to do that, lol.

Home Sweet Home - I am floored by this circle of landings you made around the tower; your landscaping job here was spectacular!

I picture a small table and chairs on one of them to watch the sun rise or set, the sky is just gorgeous and being on top of the mountain it would reap every ray of light in every day. (and shooting stars at night too - I've seen them in game in the mountains!).

I used to go up to the mountains here to watch the shooting stars - they seem so much closer there; it feels like you can reach out and touch them!

I absolutely love her face in this last shot - I can't tell what was tweaked because she has been wearing a hood a lot and her face was not angled this way in other shots - but she looks very cute in that screen!

Her face shape is wonderful, I really like it a lot!

Neat, I have heard you can 'rescue' the ghosts on the Hill of Suicides, but none of my characters ever managed it.

I didn't know about this quest at first and it never officially appears in your journal. Some Dunmer from Deepwallow told Vion about his sister who was cursed because she committed a suicide in the Isles and told him that if he found her remains, she could be freed. I forgot about this but then Vion found Limark's skull in Milchar. When he returned the skull to Limark from the Hill of Suicides, he was liberated. Unfortunately no pics of Limark's liberation exist but he was the first soul which Vion freed from the Hill.

I spoiled myself and read what is the final reward for doing this quest on the UESP - you can reanimate a corpse. Definitely a unique spell but it won't be of much help to someone like Vion. He'll still try and liberate other souls if he finds their remains, though, just for the sake of de-cursing them.

The topless Orc piqued Persephone's interest, it seems. hehe.gif

How neat! I recognize the bed Maxical is sleeping in. That is from the bandit boss room in Vilverin, with the dagger hidden in the headboard.

That Jalbert is quite an ingrate. Persephone had to kill him too! laugh.gif

I love Maxical's following from place to place, the skeleton on the bier in Vilverin, Cloud Top, the washed out shrine. Persephone is out adventuring, but she left out some apples and cheese back at her lair in case anyone visits. She has done some remodeling too, and added another bed.
Acadian
What fun pictures of Maxical as she travels Cyrodiil! I also recognized the inside of Vilverin. Checking all the ruins in search of Persephone! What funny anomalies inside the tutorial dungeon! It is so nice to see Maxical out exploring again. tongue.gif

QUOTE
I absolutely love her face in this last shot - she looks very cute in that screen!

Yah, what mALX says.
SubRosa
mALX: I basically replaced the orc head meshes with the human ones. So now they don't look like pigs. I notice Bethesda did the same in Skyrim too...

I only had to reload once during the Odill farm quest, so I count myself lucky. The stupid boys run off to battle without any armor at all, and carrying iron longswords. The goblins had better weapons. I got lucky though, and an Imperial horseman came over the second time to help fight the goblins.

No Battlehorn castle for me. I don't like how it adds all the people who suddenly become your servants. I know that is all the rage in games these days. It seems everyone wants to have a castle with an army of retainers. But not me.

I didn't do any landscaping at the tower, or make those landings. Those were all from the original mod. I just swapped out one of the sections to the tower and replaced it with another that had an opening, so you could walk inside. Then I just added furniture.

Lopov: The Odill's are difficult to save. Usually I try to pack a spell to heal them, and heal them up between fights. That is my secret for keeping alive the npcs the game forces on you for certain quests, like retaking Kvatch.

Acadian: Maybe that is the secret to Lum's shirtlessness. Or perhaps he thinks he's too sexy for his shirt! laugh.gif

I noticed when you are that close, you can see her panty lines though that leather...

One of the nice things about Persephone's lair is that she gets both amazing sunrises and sunsets.

Renee: The lair is nice. But all this home improvement stuff is a lot of work!

I did some more work on the lair, adding catwalks up to the upper stories

I turned the hole in one wall into a proper observation post

I added a second bed, and moved it and the original one into an alcove in the wall

I am still not sure what to do with the upper two floors though

Beautiful shots of the Cloud Top, sun shines falling on Maxical and ancient ruins are just...well, beautiful, like I said. tongue.gif

So she washed her dirt away and is now sleeping soundly in the tent. I enjoyed this adventure.

@SubRosa - the sky over Persephone's lair is stunning.

I really like the observation post, probably my favorite part of her lair. She has quite a collection of books too, I see.

Seems like Persephone is expecting some guests after all.

Living on the edge and another beautiful vista of Cyrodiil.

End of the terror of Hackdirt!

Vion ascended up to the Howling Halls, one of the highest points in the Shivering Isles. From there he could see the neverending Enjaen Sea on on side, neverending swamps of Dementia on the other side, and New Sheoth on the third side, though the capital looked much more impressive from up close.

Inside the Howling Halls there were some Zealots that were obviously avid shoes collectors. Most of the Halls were inaccessible (quest-specific), so Vion moved on, heading south of New Sheoth.

Why walk over the water when you can walk over the roots?

As cautious as he was, he almost never spotted Spore Pod traps.

Unless they attacked him first or unless he had to get past them, Vion left residents of Dementia alone.

Weather of Dementia was prone to quick changes just like Sheogorath, so storms were sudden and heavy, though they usually didn't last long. Still, Vion preferred nice weather when he didn't need to wear his hood.
Acadian
Lopov – More great shots from the Isles! Those neverending views are magnificent. Well, those zealots can’t be all bad if they collect shoes. Ugh, spore pod traps. What a fabulous close up of Vion at the end there. Thanks for sharing!

@ SubRosa - Wow, you did a whole heck of a lot of work on that Tower! I was wondering about the top shelves last screens you posted, and how you would reach them - you answered it, lol.

I was getting height sick seeing Persephone dancing so high above the ground in those two screens, and Aerosmith's song was a fitting title for that, lol. That was scary, especially since you took the camera off her and freed it to take the screen, GAAAAH!

Hackdirt - that place gives me the creeps! Those moonlings going around saying "Where?" - and I never realized it till I saw your close up screen of him, but that Moslin guy is a real anomaly, lol.

I really appreciate the second bed; Maxical might come visit soon, lol.

@ Acadian - Golden girls, rollinglaugh.gif Is that Vilja towering over Buffy? And the Jungles = how on earth did you manage to get Superian into the isles? Was it the Corsair spell? Holy Cow, My horses all hung around in the Bravil stables, lol. Wasn't it too dangerous for her there? Great shots!

@ Lopov - I go to the roof of Howling Halls every time I am in the area and sit in that chair! Nice view from there.

The Swamps is an excellent example of how well Bethesda can do something when they put their minds to it; what an amazing shot!

I'm really surprised Buffy and Maxical didn't storm the Isles for that shoe collection, rollinglaugh.gif

Awesome shots, Lopov!

****************************

This update is for everyone, but especially for SubRosa - and is why I didn't say much about the updates to the tower you made, lol. Because Maxical did visit Persephone!

I was so inspired by what you said about enjoying Maxical visiting the same sites following Persephone that ... well, had to follow her home, lol.

Maxical has been doing quests for an odd Ayleid Collector in the Imperial City; and in visiting all those Ayleid ruins she has found some rare Ayleid items which she thought Persephone might want; or that they may actually have some important connection in Persephone's life.

When she got to Persephone's Tower, no one was home - but she did find the bed set up for her and appreciated the thoughtfulness. She left the presents there for Persephone to sort through.

The Daedric lava Crystall Ball was the work of JBVW; that is Meo's globe of Tamriel; the ancient Ayleid Plate for Ingredients was the work of Garnet18/FlintOne (as was the Ayleid tapestries and rugs); and I took the textures from it and hand made the ancient Ayleid mortar and pestle for Persephone with them in NifSkope..

(I thought you would be able to see the detailed Ayleid imprints in the screens, but couldn't get close enough - and like a complete idiot didn't think about toggling free cam to get them. I might just capture a good screen of them in the CS to show them better, they are gorgeous and the Ayleid symbols very lorific, lol.

The only reason I hung tapestries was to hide that huge line down the wall of the interior tower, for some reason the pieces in that tower leave a very visible line on the jointures. (so I covered it with a tapestry, lol.

Other than the old winery cask that Maxical thought Persephone might want to use for bathing (bathmod); I tried to stick closely to what you had in your original so that the screens would be similar. (of course, that was before your renovations; rollinglaugh.gif

Here is the screens of her visit to Persephone's Tower:

Mistakes - Oh yeah. For some reason (and I know better!) - instead of editing the original mod I made a mod, meaning there is a conflict.

I tried to rectify it in game by deleting the few offending objects via the console and accidently clicked on and deleted a section of the tower, so had to back out of the game and hope that fixes the issue.

Other than that, I got way too much lights in there; in game it was way too well lit. I plan to open it in the CK and redo the lighting with custom low watt lights, lol.

Also, I knew you had added a bed; but didn't know where you put it - so I put it where I thought you might have placed it.

OH! And I had a Middle Class desk in there just like yours, but I added some open Ayleid books (written in Ayleid language) - and wanted one of them laying at the desk, so I swapped your Middle Class desk for an Upper so the open book could be seen laying there.

Also, I couldn't find your great shelves anywhere, what item are they? They look Middle Class, but I looked in every single possibility and couldn't find them, so settled for Middle Class Shelf 03 instead. It is not nearly as good as the shelf you used.

Anyway, I hope you like it.

I love what you do with that ruin, Rosa! Looks so neat and cozy smile.gif

That guy looks like the boss I had four months last fall. Looks equally stupid rollinglaugh.gif rollinglaugh.gif

MALX – One of those Golden Saints is a follower, the other a long-term summon. Heh, Superian has more mods to support her than Buffy does. The mare can be summoned or unsummoned anytime/anywhere. You’re right that the Isles is dangerous for riding. That’s where the pair of Golden Saint escorts come in handy, augmented with a critter familiar to help if needed.

Maxical’s visit to Persephone’s lair was fun to see! What thoughtful touches to bring some Ayleid decorations. You do know how to work CS magic with water in tubs and the bath looks great! And I expect even a dead girl would appreciate the live and pretty flowers. happy.gif

SubRosa, Persephone does not look impressed with Lum’s display of male orc-liness, especially when she is covered up completely. tongue.gif

Nice to see the Odiil boys still on their feet. That has to be one of the most frantic quests ever, with those two lads running amok in their shirtsleeves.

Aaand now we know that Persephone wears a thong. laugh.gif hubbahubba.gif The laced up back of her armor looks very hot!

Kitty! Whether you’re alive or dead, cats will treat you like furniture. Lovely to see Persephone relaxing at home. I love her face.

Persephone’s lair looks like great fun to climb around. What a view! That observation post is awesome.

Tucking her beds into an alcove is a nice idea. It feels cozy and open to the sky at the same time.

Living on the edge is a favorite. That’s desktop material! I love her saucy pose.

Persephone looks terrifying in She Saw. Yikes. I expect that she was not frightened by those Hackdirt mortals and their weirdness.

Lopov, those are amazing views from the Howling Halls! I love the neverending swamps picture. Wow.

A shoe collector? laugh.gif What a neat find!

Looks like hopping across rocks and roots was fun.

Yikes, the critters of the SI look very creepy.

What a rainstorm! I like the last picture best, Vion without his hood. smile.gif

Acadian, how fun to see Buffy with her big blonde friends. That misty forest scene is one of my all-time favorites. happy.gif

mALX, what a neat visit to Persephone’s tower! I especially love that wine cask tub. goodjob.gif

Persephone loves her gifts from her Twiceborn friend!

Wow, you really went all out! Putting a few tables and chairs outside has been on Persephone's list of things to do, but Maxical beat her too it!

The globe is really cool, so is the former grape-squisher, now bathing tub. Persephone will no longer have to frighten the dirt off of her! I hope Maxical doesn't accidentally get drunk while taking that bath! laugh.gif

The rugs are very neat. I love the celtic knotwork on the round one under the alchemy table.

I am so glad she liked those things. I really hesitated on the flowers, but you had mentioned Persephone liked flowers in one of your responses to Acadian (and they are also alchemical flora for that Alchemy station, lol).

Also, on that tapestry: I have a much better Ayleid tapestry somewhere, but couldn't find it; so I put that one there as a placeholder until I find the better one. That crack in the wall was so visible, it irked me seeing it - had to cover it up, lol.

It actually felt like I was in Persephone's Tower while Maxical was there, it was very cool being in there and it looking enough like your screenshots that it felt like being in the same place to me. (Well technically, it is the same place; but you know what I mean, lol).

I just wish I could have opened the Middle Class desk and used it instead of putting the Upper Class desk in; it doesn't suit the rest of the place the way an open Middle or lower one would have. I have some open desks from mods, but all of them looked much too fancy in there, so I went with the Upper instead.

And I wanted some screens of the open books with the Ayleid writings in them and couldn't, the lighting I added was too bright and just whited out the pages, darn it! I'll fix that, so Persephone can see the books Maxical brought her, lol.
