Nice ones, Renee. For some reason I liked the niece pic best.
Acadian
Lady Saga looks great in that woodsman outfit! And the swans look beautiful. Pins and Needles - Lol. Great to see some more from the end of Sarah's tale as well. smile.gif
SubRosa
Saga's new woodland outfit looks perfect for her.

Youch! Those are some pins!

Looks like Joanie definitely does not love Chachi!
Lopov
Woodsman armor looks good on yor your Wood Elf.

Be careful, Saga, swans can be aggressive. At least IRL. tongue.gif

That wizard is pierced through and through.

I see that Sarah's niece got dressed for the final story.

Nice! That's really pretty. I can't tell what's different about it (compared to my game). Lighting is definitely different. Grittier, or something. Less cartoony.

I've been gaming with Lady Saga more and more, as summer winds down. Here are a few random shots.

** Using "B Flat" as an adjective this way makes me feel bad about my poor B Flat Clarinet! laugh.gif

Have a B-flat clarinet eh? Still play? I have three euphoniums. They've served as nothing more than decoration for decades. Lost my chops following dental work circa 1989. Two Euphs reside in my living room. One is a British make (Besson) of the sort used by most "pro" players these days. One is a European oral style instrument that never caught on in the States. The Euph in my computer room (by the door) is an old student model that's more baritone horn than Euphonium. If the Besson weren't in bad shape (due to neglect) it might be worth a pretty penny. Pro Grade euphoniums are bloody expensive these days!

Do they play like a French Horn (etc)? I can play the Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Piccolo, Piano, and can almost play the Trumpet. I only took lessons in the Clarinet and piano. My son is the same way, he can play numerous instruments; even strings and percussion. My nephew is the same; he has played the violin at the Kennedy Center.

My favorite thing here HAS to be the vid, OMG do I ever love your quest mods!

SubRosa

Acadian
Dark, mysterious and spooky! wink.gif
Renee
Hey, thanks for all comments from a couple months ago! smile.gif

Lopov, I haven't read your corrorosponding story yet, but the one pic after she comes out of the cellar is creepiest to me. It's like this dreadful black specter arrives into sunny, cheerful Cyrodiil. ph34r.gif

And look how she *BURSTS* onto Lake Rumare! laugh.gif

Cripes, how are you able to get those action shots?!??!!! Those are NOT easy to get in this game, with its lack of tfc 1 command. Please tell me you've found a mod which adds tfc 1????

Lopov
@SubRosa - when Paralinque strikes, someone dies. indifferent.gif

@Acadian - you summed it up good. smile.gif

@Renee - hey I'm a good guy every day IRL so I can be at least slightly evil in video games. tongue.gif

No mod that'd add the tfc 1 command, it's actually a quite tedious process - during action you have to open the console, click on all involved actors you want to freeze and type "tai" to disable their AI. Typing just tai won't work good enough. Then you press tfc and / or tm and take a screenie at any angle you wish. To get NPCs moving again, you have to click on them and type "tai" again. Make sure that your PC isn't moving in any direction when freezing it otherwise it'll keep moving in that direction even with tai on.

~~~~~~~~~~
Today's batch of screenies doesn't have a matching story, it pictures Paralinque traveling to the shrine of Mephala. On her way there, she sent souls of two unfortunate legionnaires to her wicked Goddess.
You are THE man, Lopov. You did it. Wow. So no tfc 1, but you just figured out the next best thing. Yeah, I am going to have to try this for sure.
Yep, that second picture, it's so great to see a slightly offset angle to the camera, as she strikes that legionnaire.
Paralinique is so creepy ("thank you," Lopov says). What's going on in "Soul for Mephala?" What is that on her face?
I am having flashbacks to Luci Pheria, my storybook witch character from my PS3 days. Here, let's have a Luci moment.
IPB Image
Ugh! Freaky! ... Imagine her coming out of your closet in the middle of the night. ph34r.gif And in the pic below, she is having one of her weird pentagram ceremonies.
IPB Image
Lopov
@Acadian - indeed, it's better to avoid her.
@Renee - "on her face" is what remains of shocking magic as she killed the legionnaire though in fact it's on her hand from which she cast the spell.
Luci looks creepy too! What race was she?
How did you achieve the pentagram ceremony?
Mephala is not exactly what one would call a looker...
No audience with Mephala sounds like a good thing, imho...
That is one vile lair!
Is she eating in good company, or is she eating good company? wink.gif
And a Lopov shot to end it! smile.gif
Renee
Luci was Dunmer, Lopov. And though you can't tell from that blurry pic, what I did was dropped five torches and then moved them around so that they were equidistant from each other. RP'd that she lit five fires via magic, and then she did whatever she did during her ceremony. :creepy:
Anyway, it looks like your Dunwich Horror gal has made it home, or at least somewhere she feels comfortable. ph34r.gif
Renee
Aww. Frolicking in the fields then are we? Looks fun.
It looks like he has sideburns in the minotaur pic?! Or is that just an alternate hairstyle which puts big clump of hair in front of his ears?
SubRosa
Jes is a mixologist.
Yow! Minotaurs! Jes must have gotten up in levels fast!
At least he cleans up well.
Acadian
Another long day in the life of an alchemist. Nice shots - love Jes' forester outfit. smile.gif
Lopov
Thanks for your comments!
@Renee - at that point Jes' hairstyle was still vanilla, I think it's called Loose or maybe it's Natural, those two are pretty similar. So his ears are covered by actual hair.
Frolicking in the fields indeed! Time passes fast when one first searches and then picks up plants.
@SubRosa - I'm using Francesco's mod which makes it possible to encounter high-level enemies at low PC levels, so though it doesn't happen often, it's possible to encounter minotaurs at level 1. On the other hand, it's also possible to run into low-level enemies at high PC levels, they don't disappear entirely, neither they suddenly become dangerous like imps in the vanilla game.
He likes bathing in the rivers a lot.
@Acadian - I also like Jes' shirt. Its name and appearance fits well with his way of life, I think. Another thing why I like it, is because it's relatively rare.
The following day Jes 'borrowed' a boat and rowed to Nenalata... *2
...with a backpack on his back, a reward from the friendly alchemist from the Imperial Bridge inn
*1 - I was surprised that bandits managed to defeat the soldier but that was Francesco's mod at work again because one of the bandits was quite tough to bring down so he was obviously of a higher level
*2 - Rowboats - an excellent mod and though after reading its comments I was sure the mod won't work at all, it works flawlessly for me. You can't see the actual rowing animation but the boat moves in real time and you can command it like you command a horse.
Renee
Man you are good with camera angles. I'm sort of boggled how you got that bandit in pic #2, half fallen over.
His game seems as though it's centered around Imperial Bridge Inn, eh? smile.gif That's a lovely place.
SubRosa
Jes found Cadlew Chapel. Ewww!
I remember that place in Underground Marvel, where the guy from the inn sends you.
The rowboat is cool, as is the backpack.
Acadian
Aww, too bad about the soldier and courier with her horse. It says good things about Jes that he was clearly saddened by that.
That is a fun quest based out of that inn to help the wizard.
I'm glad that your backpack and rowboat mods are working well for you. They look nice.
Lopov
@Renee - as soon as the bandit was fatally struck, I opened the console and tai-ed her, that's why she's half-falling in the screenie.
He likes to stay in one place for some time, that's true. Mostly because he explores wilderness for possible ingredients.
@SubRosa - when one must store many ingredients and potions, it makes sense to have a backpack. Most other characters of mine carried on them only what was necessary so they didn't need any backpacks.
@Acadian - the corpse of the courier disappeared in front of Jes' eyes, I wonder if that's because her death makes her automatically respawn.
Neat pic of sleeping in the boat. I top down Lopov-shot!
Like Lum-gro-Barath, it looks like Jes is too sexy for his shirt! laugh.gif
Very cool seeing the sunken ruin like that. Did you tweak the water values in the .ini files to make it that transparent? I recall doing that back in the day.
Renee
Hey nice! So you could get some 3rd person shots of Jes in his boat! smile.gif
Fun to see him racing through Wendir, I mean Nenalata. Getting hit by lucky arrows (not by skilled archers, but lucky arrows).
Is he going to Shivering Isles? Looks like he started to, but changed his mind. Which is okay. I like seeing him in these pastoral settings.
Acadian
Yeah those skellies are tough to keep together without their fleshy bits.
That boat is quite handy!
Ahhhh, to Bravil! The beautiful little forest city of Mara, kissed and cleansed by the Niben itself. Of course, having been born and raised there, Buffy's view may be a bit influenced by nostalgia.... wink.gif
Lopov
@SubRosa - I use two mods that change the water, namely Better Imperfect Water which improves visibility and Alive Waters which adds both flora and fauna underwater.
I tried to watch the video but it says that StudioCanal is blocked in Slovenia.
@Renee - he stopped on the island because he noticed many unusual ingredients, he didn't intend to go to the SI. Not yet. wink.gif
@Acadian - Better Cities (I don't like the word 'better' cool.gif ) changes Bravil a lot, in some ways for good, in some ways it goes a bit over the top. It adds a lot of unfriendly folk, clearly involved in shady business, most of them are as rude as Alval Uvani if not even more. It does a great job by expanding the city, though, especially the docks area, and it also adds some short but interesting quests, the 'victim' of one such quests was Jes as seen below.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The story behind today's screenies can be read in the Where are you today? thread, it's a part of the Bravilian maiden quest, added by Better Cities.
QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 25 2017, 10:32 AM) *
Yana does not look especially welcoming.
Notice how she keeps her hand on that knife...
Lopov
@Acadian - it's a fun quest indeed though the thought of his gear being locked behind the very hard locked door wasn't that funny at the moment Jes went to pick the lock.
@SubRosa - Yana can look very pretty if she wants sto, she really doesn't seem as inviting in the first pic but in the second one she's pretty, I think, especially for a Cyrodiilian.
@Renee - that's a part of some mod that she grabs the knife. With the mod, I think it's called Talk with your hands, people actually use hands during conversations and if they have weapons equipped, they check them. It felt very appropriate that Yana was holding her knife while talking to Jes.
*1 - Jes brings all spell tomes he finds in wilderness to the nearest Guild of Mages. The tomes on the right side of the crate are the ones he brought.
*2 - mages allowed him to borrow The Fall of the Snow Prince and after reading it, Jes returned it, in my games guilds serve as libraries and non-members can borrow books
Acadian
I quite like how Jes blends his interest in alchemy, magic and books.
Oh, Henantier's was a fun quest as you help him get his mind sorted out and back together.
Renee
Nice! So he finds all those tomes and brings them to the Mage's Guild, and even organizes them neatly. See, a lot of my holier characters (like Joan, Dyan, and even RG3...she goes to church too) will bring various items and "donate" them to the chapels, by putting them directly on their altars. Potions, flowers, books, etc. Problem with this is...when somebody activates one of these altars, this means all the stuff they bring goes flying everywhere!
Yeah, I can imagine Jes's head is spinning in Bravil/Better Cities. So many ingredients to pick all over the place in that town.
SubRosa
Jes has to pick every ingredient he can find!
Sweet dreams Jes
Wow, he really hit that minotaur!
Great shot of his backpack in the final pic.
Lopov
@Acadian - Henantier's quest is fun but difficult at times because missing any trap means instant death. Fortunately Jes isn't DiD else he'd be dead by now, he stepped on a wrong tile and "died" but I roleplayed that Henantier managed to save him in his dreams.
@Renee - he prefers to donate books instead to sell them so that the next time he visits the guildhall, books will still be there, if he sold them, they'd be lost when a merchant's inventory resets.
@SubRosa - I expected Dreamworld minotaurs to be more difficult but obviously Fran's didn't affect them so they were of the lowest possible level. Both fell after two strikes from the magic staff.
Acadian
Lock pickin', boatin', swimmin' and fightin'! And still time to enjoy the beautiful bookends of sunrise and sunset. Methinks the primary result of that cat's lock picking training is to fatten his coinpurse. wink.gif
Lopov
@SubRosa - he made some water breathing potions before swimming underwater. Back then he didn't know how to breathe underwater, now he can thanks to a spell.
Yep, that's him coming out of the water. laugh.gif Only the girl and her mare are missing. wink.gif
@Acadian - Jes checked his belongings twice after training with Dro'Shanji was done. One can never be too careful.
Love the knotwork dragon on Jes' kukri. It is much better looking than Kurdan!
Poor Tone Loc Aleron Loche.
Jes walks off into the sunset.
Lopov
@Acadian - Caught in the hunt is one of my favorite quests. But on this playthrough it glitched for the first time. As soon as Jes stepped out of Fort Grief, Kurdan proceeded to kill Aleron but wouldn't attack him. After a few seconds the game would then CTD. I had to advance the quest by console-killing Aleron.
@SubRosa - the kukri looks good, I agree. It's sold by some BC-added merchant in Bravil. In the long run it proved to be too expensive to maintain, though.
Aw, he is camping. And found a house which I'm not sure is vanilla or not. And found Sinderion.
I agree with you about having nirnroots grow back. I love hearing their song in the wild.
Acadian
You have a nice package of supportive mods, Lopov. I remember that abandoned house (vanilla). I liked Sinderion very much. smile.gif
Renee
Lopov hasn't posted any pictures in a few hours. laugh.gif I will take advantage of this lull to post a few RG3 / Xenagade pictures.
In the fighting pics I used Lopov's technique of console command "tai" to make enemies freeze in place, and also using tfc and tm to move the camera around / disable menus. Finally, I can get some cool fighting pics of one of my Oblivion characters in action. Well, not in that first pic, or the last one, but in all the others.
Lopov: I like the wolves in Oblivion much more than the ones in Skyrim. In Skyland they went out of their way to make them appear far more menacing.
Looks like those people in the isolated house prefer to remain isolated.
It can't be! hehe.gif I'll post some tomorrow or on Sunday, today I'm too lazy, it was a chaotic week at work and one of our elderly colleagues passed away suddenly. indifferent.gif
Well the scene in green is really green.
My favorite screenie is I'll hack you to pieces because it's taken from below and one can almost hear their swords clanking.
Do you use some mod that adds more blood to corpses?
Now how did she do a twirl??
Is that Vigge the Cautious? "You sure you want him? Because he doesn't train or anything." tongue.gif
Renee
Cool pix eh folks? hehe.gif They'll only get better, now that i learned the tai + tfc + tm trick
Lopov: I think MMM has an option to toggle blood on and off. It even has a "carrion rat" option which makes small, mouse-size rats show up if you've left a corpse around long enough (like if you go into a different cell and come back, there will be all these little mice).
The twirl-jump is an animation mod Shelley Mars told me about a couple years ago. Right now I'm not remembering its name but I'll tell you later.
Lopov
@Renee - the house is vanilla, it's called the isolated house but it doesn't have its own map marker, not that this would change anything for us who play without map markers on the compass. It's not so easy to find, but once you know where it is, it becomes... well very easy to find. wink.gif It has become a common stop for Jes as he's traveling through the West Weald.
@Acadian - mods like setting up your own campfire and covering yourself when going to sleep, really add a lot to the experience. This is for the first time that any of my characters are doing Sinderion's quest.
@SubRosa - with some mods that change animal behavior, all wolves are friendly by default but they may attack when pulling out a weapon when close to them. I'm not sure if the same applies for timber wolves. I've already ran into some boars and they were friendly too.
