I'm sure that Acadian knows that a mod isn't necessary to make a deer friendly, nor is the green thing on the deer mold, but magic. wink.gif The magic only Wood Elves are capable of casting. Manuin used his racial power, the Beast Tongue, to befriend the deer, that's why it's encircled in green magic.

Oh, that is amazing! I knew Khajiit had their "Night Eye" and "Eye of Fear" - never knew about the forest friends for Wood Elf! And ACADIAN NEVER TOLD ME about it either! (Hmph!) laugh.gif

That is Awesome, thank you for explaining about it!

SubRosa
Manny and the deer look great. But the sunset is breathtaking.

Better keep your staffs nailed down, the Thieves Guild is on the loose! laugh.gif
Grits
The Dear Deer picture has it all: nice scenery, friendly wildlife, handsome Bosmer, trees and flowers, pretty sky… lovely!

Wow, sunset is gorgeous!

The Ice Staff caper! That is so fun. I love how Manuin is striding boldly off to work down the street, no need for shadows. Neat picture with the staff!
Lopov
Kahreem definitely got his hands on one of the most expensive outfits in Cyrodiil. It'd be a shame to sell it, though because it'll be very handy to someone in his line of work.

That guard definitely checked Renee's bosom. laugh.gif

But it's good to see that she's more protected when dungeoneering.

Fauna of Cyrodiil!

WOO HOO Sarah! And that last looks like a plague of locusts, laugh.gif

Acadian
Gosh, you’d think if you showed up wearing the robes of the dead former Listener, the DB would be impressed enough to let you in!

Great shot as XenaRenee’s headlights illuminate the path ahead for a sunset stroll. biggrin.gif

Wow, great close up of that dragonfly!
gpstr
Something of a momentous occasion, of the game rather than in it.

It's sort of appropriate too, since Bob is, or rather was, my first Oblivion character, dating all the way back to save number 1. Though they share a face and the broad outline of a build, this isn't really the same Bob as that one though - that one came from before I learned how to roleplay, so he just ran around and did stuff and never developed any sort of personality. I recently decided I wanted to restart him and give him the chance to be an actual character rather than just an empty shell, so here he is, all those saves later, just starting out again.
SubRosa
Save 30k! W00t!
Acadian
Wow, gpstr, that is a real testimony to the quality and durability of Oblivion!

And great to see you! smile.gif
Renee
To this day, I have no idea what my first character (Lady Anne) looked like, because I erased her saves 3 hours after starting Oblivion for the first time, darnit.

It's springtime

for Renee

in Cyrodiil!

Even the ents approve

Gabby learns some moves (hopefully)

Acadian
Renee, that looks like a beautiful mod!

I'm so glad that ReneeXena and Gabriel are enjoying their springtime in Cyrodiil! happy.gif
SubRosa
It's springtime for Hitler, and Germany! laugh.gif

Cyrodiil's bright blue skies and lush greenery is a welcome sight! But what are those guar doing in Colovia?

Very cool Ents!
Renee
Yes, very good, SubRosa! You know this silly song.

Betty really did a good job, eh? smile.gif There's also an Autumn Overhaul version, which Sarah has in her game, since it's Frost Fall (October) in her gameworld.

2 very cute girls in that last shot !!! One thing I loved so much about Oblivion was the beautiful sunshine and grass! Great shots, though I'm not thrilled with the addition of the Ent beasts!

Cool shots, Renee. Really didn´t recognize Cyrodiil there laugh.gif

Enjoyable shots! I've long wanted to see flocks of birds and and such in my version of Cyrodiil. Alas. My poor old CPU just doesn't have the horsepower for the those extra A.I. packets. Boy would I like to build an intel i7 6700k / nvidia GTX 1070 based system, but unplanned financial setbacks always get in the way. Such is life, I reckon.

As for myself, I recently grabbed a couple of captures in an only partially successful attempt to show off a newly installed "wet" variant of Bettys Sewer Textures (and meshes), seen below in conjunction with Cava Obscura, which reduces lighting in dungeons of all sorts.

Image 1: My avatar entering a entering a new cavern.

Image 2: Examining a corpse.

I ought to have slightly lightened image one during post processing, as it looks drabber as a still than it did while composing the shot in-game. Image two seems closer to what my avatar experienced. Neither show "wetness" to advantage, imo, though again image two takes a stab at it.
Renee
Oh nice, Betty's got a wet retexture too? I'll have to check that out. It's a shame Betty started her modding career sort of late (in comparison to others well-known, like Arthmoor and Maskar) she should get way more endorsements than she does.

No, I'll only use this mod during First Seed, Rain's Hand, and Second Seed (roughly March through May), and I'll use the Autumn version during Frostfall, Sun's Dusk, and Evening Star.
SubRosa
Wow, the sewers have never looked so good.

My avatar's cleansing of the IC Sewer was and is an extraordinarily rare occurrence. The gang still spends the vast preponderance of their time patrolling Cyrodiil's roadways, collecting taxes and delivering merchandise. Discounting that one sewer visit, I'm not sure he's been below ground in ages except for periodic forays into Rockmilk to gather Black Bows for the lord of Layawiin (as well as amass loot for his Second Hand Sales Shoppe). Were he tasked to perform assignments that require him to enter caves, ruined forts and the like he will certainly do so, and in fact might welcome them as a break in routine. But those sorts of missions don't seem to exist any more, a downside of doing one's job too well I suppose.

It's good to know he's there, though. There's a comforting consistency to his activities that helps to provide some nice background grounding. I tend to hold characters like him in the back of my mind when I'm writing and playing.
My characters tend to be so hectic and all over the place that it's often good to think that there are other characters in the world who are in some sense the complete antithesis.
I may actually write him in, if that's alright with you...

Not that you need it, but you have my blessing to include my avatar within your depiction of Nirn should you so choose. I've done this sort of thing to a very limited extent myself, though of the two instances in which it occurs only one has been made public. (Hint, the public one appears at almost the very end of episode four of my short-lived YouTube video series.)

Well thank you very much, I shall see about giving him a walk-on part somewhere down the line. biggrin.gif

(On a side-note, it just seems polite to ask permission, to me. These characters are I always think, very personal creations, and it would feel a bit weird to include someone else's without asking. If that makes sense).

Giant want Sarah flesh!

... Sarah was trying to walk back to Skingrad from Fort Carmala, but it was raining outside, and impossible to see which direction she was going also because it was night time. So this giant sees her walking around, and gets hungry. She ran around in circles it seemed like as he chased her, until she managed to find Weatherleah. Ran inside here. Though the giant could follow her, it was too big to get past this initial area, it also would not give up its chase!

Sarah was stuck, but Sarah gets brave.

She realized that as a vampire, she's got a long list of new spells and powers, including paralyzation.

Dang. She didn't try to feed off of it. I wonder if she even can do so?

She fed off this poor lady though.

....and also made a new, but mindless, friend.

devilsmile.gif
Lopov
That giant reminds me of an ogre. Weatherleah's architecture helped Sarah in a way to prevent it getting closer.

But thanks to her vampiric spells Sarah pwn3d it. laugh.gif

What's that sticking out of her new friend? Oh, it's just an axe, at first I thought it's a sword. wink.gif

I like it too, Phon.

But hey, can people either post their pics as links, or if you're going to post them into the actual post, go into imgur's or photobucket's (whatever you use) options and resize their pics down? Because what happens is the entire page gets stretched out. Makes it hard to read text.

Like, I'm having to move the page from left to right just to read what I just wrote.
PhonAntiPhon
No problems.
Sorry Ren, I'll do links. smile.gif

You can have your cake and eat it too, if you create a thumbnail image to post in the thread and make it link to the full sized one. I have a few examples here, but I don't remember where I put them. I don't remember if any of the image hosting services provides thumbnails for that purpose, as I use my own server, and make them lovingly by hand. biggrin.gif
