She’s heard about a guild for thieves, though she hasn’t had any luck finding it. Kanet came to be because none of my crew will do the TG quests. Also none of them will wear pirate clothes, dammit. Thankfully Kanet is cooperating with the looking fabulous. So far Kanet is pretty good at shopping, even after dark. She’s hasn’t been caught yet.

In the Imperial City, the coronation tour continued

I'm guessing that fabulous view of our white-haired elf and the IC is from atop Belda. Oh, I love that area south of the IC approaching the long bridge on the road to Pells Gate. We can never resist clearing a number of dungeons south of the city near where the wild horses spawn whenever Buffy passes that way. Gosh the Legion can't hold a candle to Lothran's efforts to protect the citizen of Cyrodiil!

Did someone want to hold a candle? Sorry, couldn't resist.

It's a spin-off piece of Gweden, like the alchemical apparatus with the animated bubbling contents. I made both for Miranu's lab, and released the pieces as modder resources, because they're useful in other contexts. Sort of like Falkreath, but on a smaller scale.

These are AWESOME shots! How in the world did he make it to the top of that Ayleid wall like that! I nearly choked to death laughing at Geonete on the Coronation tour, ROFL !!!

GAAAAAH! I was getting dizzy looking at that one! How does he do it, the old paintbrush trick?

Do you really think that Lothran, Warlock in the Mages Guild, needs cheap tricks like that? He did it by careful jumping, albeit assisted by a Fortify Acrobatics spell. He also needed a few tries as it´s quite hard to calculate how much effort each jump needs. Totally worth it, though

I can attest to the fun of fortify acro spells. I confess, I borrowed the idea from tmar (on the BethSoft forum) and his chapel climbing, roof hopping characters. Buffy's raw acro skill is 100 (needed when you're a short elf that needs high shooting perches). When she seeks a perch beyond her ability, she casts two spells in rapid succession:

Fortify acro x 100 on self for 17 seconds.
Fortify acro x 100 on self for 15 seconds.

We find that the resultant 300 acro for 15 seconds is enough to generally hop up to where she wants to be. As mirocu says though, it does take a touch of practice to control; I find using third person helps quite a bit.

Not all highwaymen are hostile and here's the proof!

Raven was walking via the bridge, seeing a Khajiit Highwayman in the distance. Just to be safe, he summoned his Flame Atronach but surprisingly the Khajiit didn't attack him but instead greeted him in a rather unique way. Raven didn't initiate a conversation with him but instead went on, and Khajiit remained nice and not hostile at all times.

I have no idea what was the reason for that but I'm glad it happened, I've never heard that greeting before.

Lopov, that's hilarious! I think I might have heard that greeting before perhaps from some of the tailed NPCs. I've not had a highwayman just initiate a normal conversation right off the bat upon meeting though. Neat! Did he figure that Raven was simply poorer than he was? Maybe he simply warmed to the flame atronach's fiery presence? Or perhaps he figured Raven was another highwayman just trying to git enough money for a new pair of shoes? Just another of Cyridiil's wonderful mysteries I guess.
