This first one is particularly disturbing! ... Nice to finally put a face to all the madness!

I like to alter his shots because I think it suits his atmosphere better.

Although this sepia shots made him look much more scary as he is in fact. Without his hood and in normal daylight he looks like ordinary pale Bosmer with a blank look and dark circles under his eyes. But then again, it is almost impossible to see him without his hood, because he wears it all the time, except when going to sleep or when swimming.

Ahh , but what if your enemies know that ? An assassin should never be predictable smile.gif

You write well , and that strengthens the image he gives out . Sinster pictures are not enough for evil characters .

I agree, that's why I didn't spend a lot of time when creating him. I was clicking on Randomize button until I was satisfied with the result and after a little tweaks that was it. As you said, it's not necessary for evil person to look evil on first sight and vice versa of course.

Yes , its what they do that means something . I like how falador looks very vannil-ish ( not to mention delicious laugh.gif ) it makes him somehow more belivable . My characters are also quite plain , but i dont tend to be very good at character creation sad.gif

Its like with all these skyrim pics of "strong nord women" , and i read the stories and then the pics < insert sick here > they are in "armour" if thats what you want to call it . i call it a sports bra and a thong .

I am worried about how more and more so women are being degraded by players , its there choice of cource , but for the life of me i dont get the whole "Skimpy" thing . It makes women look weak-willed and shallow . For me the moment i see those pics my interest in the story just goes.

Like with falador , if all his pics displayed him in some "mod armour" that basically showed him naked bar the family gems , i would just skim over his stories because for me , those characters feel un - realistic , shallow , and entirely fake.

Yes its just my opinion on it .

Me neither, I prefer most of the things vanilla and not too revealing, it doesn't make sense to go on a rampage in the snowy region wearing almost nothing. I admit I installed few facial mods but only because I had hard time creating young-looking characters.

Falador sees himself as ugly & repulsive, that's why he hides most of his body almost all the time, you'll never see him wearing any shirt with short sleeves / breeches and he usually wears his iron gauntlets all the time except when eating, reading or doing something where gauntlets would cause him troubles.

wub.gif seems im amoungst friends! Very few people have the same opinion on skimpy armour , but the simple fact is

a. its not lore- friendly

b . logisitcally impossible ( mentioned above)

c . how can it give any "protection?" amour isint there to look pretty worm! it there to do the job it was made to do.

I just think , given women play a big part in TES they are being increasingly undermined by this new batch of "skimpy mods" that are flourishing in the skyrim mod community . Its almost shameful and , quite frankly , dissapointing to see users lavish in their nudity and "girl power" . The women of skyrim do not care for this beauty , they are men at hearts and i love this so much , that is what a "Strong nord woman" means ! Not some flouncy model whoms only pass - time is how to get ulfric into bed! ( i literally found several threads devoted to cooking up ways to seduce ulfric and even *shudder* for them to get pregnant!)

This is just a bi - product of mods unfortunantly

I like the idea falador covers himself up , its cute! wub.gif

The "Huntsman's Vest" which you referred to as a "Sports bra" is a vanilla article of clothing in Oblivion, not a mod. Therefore, it must be lore friendly.

When you get on the internet, you are exposed to a diverse population whose beliefs may or may not match your own. Game forums are made up of modders and players whose individual preferences are based on their personal beliefs/cultures/environments.

This is an open minded forum that accepts others for what they are as we meet them. Stating your own preferences is fine, but downgrading other's choices or making extreme assumptions about them (and/or their characters) based on how their character is dressed, how they play their character, or the mods they use and posting these in numerous places is prejudicial soapboxing.

There are all different degrees of obsessions and fantasy, which you thoroughly demonstrated in your numerous posts on this subject.

In my years at this site I have never seen any characters/stories/mods/etc. that would have offended your sensibilities, but if they come they should not meet with prejudice on these forums.

We here at this site are a community of support for everyone.

My personal preference - when my character is dressed, she has clothes on. When she is not, she doesn't. Either way, her willpower stat remains the same.

As you were.

I agree with mALX (always a wise idea).

I, likewise, know of no such large breasted flouncy models trying to bed everything by wearing a steel bikini and waving a sword. Perhaps you have this place confused with another forum? Or perhaps some mod download site? Wood elves may very well dress like their spriggan sisters of the forest, and I suppose Nordic warrior women may chose to wear something that fits the traditional view of melee armor. And mages might wear robes. Or any of these characters may simply enchant two or three baubles with enough armor rating to make a dragon wince and charge naked into battle with a massive and weightless bound sword that streams flames. At any rate, all of these characters are welcome here with open mind and open arms.

Given the dark themes that can be found in Oblivion if you search for them, it would seem that wardrobe choices make for a silly thing to rant about.

Wouldn't you agree? smile.gif

As a woman, I can appreciate the concern you are displaying.

However, little clothing does NOT make a woman weak-willed. Nor does more clothing make her more strong-minded. The strongest women I know are not afraid to show off their bodies, whether society wants them to or not. We are to be proud of our bodies, whatever shape they come in, both men and women alike. Telling someone that showing their bodies is attempting to take the control they have over themselves. And that's a no-no.

I can understand the concern. Trust me, I used to be like that. But it is the personal choice of each player to mod or use an item of clothing. If they want to litter the internet with the images, simply don't look. I've seen ridiculous mods with ridiculous outfits, and have only mentioned them in private to others.

But weak-willed? No. Is wanting to mold a character to fit their idea of attractive weak-willed? Nah. Or make them look silly? nah. This is a FANTASY game, my dear. Things are going to look funky. Not to mention you are in a forum with authors and artists, what did you expect?

KC, how awesome to see Aravi’s evolution! Seeing her Oblivion look reminds me of all the good times in your video thread. Plus, belly chain! happy.gif

Here’s a picture of Lildereth with my favorite cheesemaster, I’m sure I don’t need to explain the setting. Here’s another one showing her expression while they were chatting. I’m not sure why she looks so annoyed. Probably because she was on her way back to town after saving a handsome scholar-in-distress from mortal peril and was still tense over the adventure. Or perhaps Uuras called her bra-top weak-willed and shallow, lol. Or worse pointed out that they are wearing the same pants. tongue.gif

@King Coin - Aravi looks great in both games but I prefer her in Skyrim, perhaps it's because of her haircut.

@Grits - I remember Lildereth from Hot & Not contest, she was one of my personal favorites but I think I already said that on Beth forums too.

@Akadian - that's a nice dress! And I like additional equipment on her horse.

No , your not hearing me

If your going to just blanch me with your random argument do not comment

A. i was not referring to any item

B . talking about skyrim , which didnt have a huntsman vest

It is clear not matter how neutral you attempt to stay on the subject you disagree with me , i simply detest people whom attempt to remain cold and aloof and pretend to be above me!

It is rude , you have not listned to anything i have said on the "numerous" posts , you'd be surprised with which gender i am you know....

But i agree with you that everybody has their own view , however i did not and i will not tolerate you saying i am attempting to say that women should not wear skimpy clothes . i find it dissapointing that female players find it powerful to expose chracters , again its just characters , but for me over the recent year the anti- feminist bilge i have read on various tes forums as shocked me , whats even more shocking is most of it is coming from female players , for me the line between charcters and users is fine , if your displaying your characters naked as the moon bowing to ulfric stormcloak the " war hero of skyrim~" then yes i find it hard not to get angry about.

But i dont want to get into an arguement about it , but i dont like the way you responded to my topic accuseing me of things i did not imply or even wrote . And no i dont come from the 80's so dont acuse me of being out-moded in what im trying to say .

It hit her without warning about every 30 days or so when the moons were positioned a certain way. If she was in a town at the time she transformed, all H would break loose and a lynch mob would chase her out of town.

She wasn't able to bring herself to attack people, but the werewolf was quite deadly against Daedra during the Oblivion crisis.

Yeah, but you sure don't get the hero accolades for it, lol.

I loved that mod, probably the best mod I ever played for quests and dungeon diving (not to mention the great rewards) but since my character wouldn't kill or feed on humans, (or even attack them to spread the werewolf disease and create her own pack of followers) - kind of lost the reason for playing as a werewolf, so she eventually took the cure.

One side effect of having been a werewolf in the past though - wolves in the wild do not attack my character even years after being cured. She can sit with them, walk with them, etc. They guard her if she camps in their spawn area.

Thank you - that was my favorite thing to do after the quests were all done, camp down with the pack in the foothills of the Jeralls. Even when she transformed back to her regular Khajiit form the werewolves let her live with them, didn't attack her. Had to deal with werewolf hunters though.

I will not tolerate what i perceive as rudeness , this is what i shall say to reaction .

But i have read the comment from elizibeth and i have to agree , your judgement seems well-reasoned and i to have had to come to similar conclusions on the matter . Again people perceive power in differant ways and i am bound to accept them . I think skimpy armour can vary in how much dignity it can give , when made just right it can indeed give off an epic visage . But i often think "too much" and for me the result looks comical , completly ridiculous , like a child has taped together clipped pieces of mesh . cool.gif

But , your right mirocu , this is a screenshot thread and i dont want to de-rail your flow . Apologies friend wink.gif

Thanks for the very sweet compliments for Lildereth, folks! Yes, she was in Renee’s contest. I haven’t written about her much because she’s a character in my fanfic, so most of her adventuring is in that story.

Lol KC! She does frown a lot. Maybe because her neck hurts when she talks to people. Here are those shots where she’s telling off Vigge and then telling off Sinderion.

Acadian, that is such a lovely picture of Buffy! Her hair looks especially smooth and unbothered by the lake’s humidity (Grits says with envy tongue.gif).

I love the shots of Lothran and Falador in the captain’s quarters. The sepia look really suits Falador. *shiver*

Of course my favorite Lothran picture so far is the one in the dark, with the lens on and no film. laugh.gif I love his summoned bear!

mALX, oh my gosh I don’t think I’ve seen those werewolf pictures! They are awesome! That must have been tremendous fun. And Maxical’s poor tummy in the Arena! I love how she looks in her raiment, even though in that one she looks like she might spit up an arrow head at any moment. Yikes!

Here are some pictures of Kjestrid, Nord ranger. Not newly taken but never before shared. I played Kjestrid a lot on my laptop after an injury. Just haven’t let her out to play lately.

Kjestrid and her best bud Skjorta, possibly planning the evening’s nekkid foot race.

Kjestrid wondering what the hells people get up to in these caves.

Grits, I surely wouldn't want to be in Vigge or Sinderion's shoes. Especially if Lidereth puts them at the business end of her bow!

Kjestrid looks great! Since she's very pretty, doesn't look like she bumps the top of the door jam with her head and is not furry, I guess she's not dear Jerric's sister? That plaid shirt and vest looks perfect on her. The shirt seems to pick up on her coloring so nicely, and the fact that it is weightless means she can carry more clothes and shoes! tongue.gif

Did Kjestrid kill Raelynn the Gravefinder? And what house is that in the first shot? Love your characters, you are a whiz with the facegen!
Grits
Since Kjestrid doesn’t have to shave her back we can be sure she’s no kin to Jerric! tongue.gif How nice to notice Kjestrid’s outfit, Acadian. happy.gif I’m afraid that one is as good as it gets. She has a lovely and serene personality, but the woman is not an imaginative dresser. It didn’t help that the brown shirt and quilted doublet were already “taken” by Lildereth and Abiene. They haven’t met but Kjestrid does inhabit their world, so it’s hard for me to put her in one of “their” shirts!

mALX, you got it! I had forgotten where that necro dungeon was, but it’s the one with Raelynn and friends. The picture with Skjorta is in Nord Winds. Kjestrid lives in Bruma. I tried to put a picture up that shows her face better, but photobucket was giving me fits. I gave her a big, Nordly face. smile.gif

Some pics with Lothran in the Madgod´s realm. The two pics are in fact "unrelated" as they are from two different expeditions.

I agree, it suits her very nice and she's also good looking, especially for a Nord. tongue.gif
I also like Lildereth's eyebrows very much, she looks like 'hard to get girl.' hubbahubba.gif

@mirocu - very nice shot of Crucible, I was never there with any of my characters yet but if Falador ever makes it there, I think he'll like it there.

I think Crucible would suit him nicely. The town even has someone asking him to do something he already can do very well tongue.gif

Kjestred is looking cute! Thanks for sharing her with us.

I see Lothran was playing on the Crucible rooftops. Did he find all the goodies up there?
