I used to have Foyle's War in my Netflix queue, but it was never available. Now that you mentioned it I looked it up again, and they finally have it! So I will put that in the rotation as well.
I really love the old cars and everything in that show. Great you finally found it

Nah, Finland is way higher on the list.
though it looks like they are slowing down. I seem to recall the Finns being
#1 in the world in suicide. But apparently Lithunania passed them. Denmark has a high suicide rate too, but I think that is because they often lump in Greenland with them.

Just watched Haunter. It was an outstanding ghost story, whose protagonist is the ghost. Well, one of them at least. And the lead actress looks like a younger Karen Gillan. So much so that I thought it was her until I want back to the opening credits to see the actor's names.

G.B.F.. It was utterly hilarious! It's a high school story about a guy who is outed as gay, the first one in his school. So naturally all the Popular girls in school want him as their Gay Best Friend, since that is the hottest accessory around. So of course boy gets sucked into the spotlight, ditches his friends, regrets what he's done and, well, you know the story... It is a wonderful, cute, satire. I laughed my lesbo-ass off.

Like them giving him a love intrest and not getting the voice actor(who looks like Agent 47) to play the lead?
Besides that it's probably one of the few good Video Game movies.

I actually liked them giving him a love interest, simply because he had no clue what to do with her. Like when she's drunk and tries to get him into bed, and his response is to sedate her.
Or when he lets her out of the boot of the car and she's pissed off, and he says that he took the body out, as if that makes all the difference.

As funny as it is, it messes with the charcter too much and adds unnecessary comedy to what could of been a dark movie.

I don't see that it messes with the character too much, because it does a good job of showing that he's completely clueless in that respect, as you'd expect, even before she turns up.
Then again, I only played the third game, Blood Money, I think it was? So I'm not exactly well-up on Hitman.

He's barely human until Absolution.
He's a cold killing machine, he wouldn't even bother talking to a woman unless it's completely necessary to his contract.

Just completely finished Battlestar Galactica. I'm actually surprisingly depressed to see that I've finished it.
The ending was alright but seeing the final sendoff for all of the characters that have consumed 80+ hours of my life is actually quite disheartening. Especially since they didn't completely tie up a few of the loose ends in the show. Still though in a few years I'll watch it all over again and still be just as entertained to see the crew's random adventures up until the ending.
I always tend to feel a bit depressed after something I have enjoyed immensely has ended. That was the case with Stargate SG1, Dexter, and now it is the same with Battlestar Galactica. If I give it one thing I'll say that it was a show I started without the intent to actually enjoy it but it ended up being one of my top three Sci-Fi favorites of all time.

I always have that same feeling of letdown after I finish watching an series. I often don't watch the last episode when I am rewatching the show, just to avoid some of it. But even that aside, you get so used to always watching an episode a day, and suddenly it is gone. Then you don't know what to do to fill the void. Find a new old show to watch on dvd I suppose!

Yeah and after that they're still 46 minute episodes. It will help you destroy tons of free time since there are 75 episodes. The good thing is that the actors work well together to create a believeable atmosphere so that even when the show is at it's slower times (politics) it is still very entertaining.

I am still working my way through The Great Queen Seondeok. I finished episode 26 or 27 this afternoon, so that puts me near a third of the way into it. The story moved into Gyerim a while ago, Deokman became a Nangdo, pretending to be male, fought in a war, and some fantastic palace intrigue. Finally everyone but the King has figured out who she really is.
I am still loving it. Though Deokman the Nangdo seems to lack some of the cleverness, and definitely a lot of the confidence she had beforehand. But I try to put that down to the fact that now she is dealing with more than just assassins and local governors. She is up against MiShil now, who is definitely the top of the heap when it comes to villains.
Speaking of which, Mishil has become one of my all time favorite Evil Overlords. Mainly because she does not go around slaughtering people left and right, belittling her subordinates, succumb to murderous rages, or even fits of mad laughter. She understands that to be a leader you must surround yourself with people. And she is outstanding at manipulating the men around her. She is like a star, who draws everything around herself into her orbit. She even makes an effort to turn her enemies into her servants.

You were so right Subrosa, Series 6 is soooo much better than 5...I'm really enjoying it...We just had the one where a young lady comes to Hawaii to track down a chauffeur that had taken her son, and he later tried to sell the boy via that bad lawyer lady...
EDIT...We also saw the 300 sequel the other day...Not the best film I've ever seen, but not the worst either...McWife enjoyed it more than I did anyways...But then again, I was more impressed by the Spartacus series than
she was...*Shrug*...Which this seemed to be slightly sub-par to, when compared with etc...But was still decent enough...Y'know?...

I started watching Miami Vice yesterday, and Wolverine and the X-Men. I found both were fun. I have not seen Miami Vice in ages, and the thing that really stood out to me when watching it was the music. Not just that they used real songs by real artists like Phil Collins, The Rolling Stones, etc..., but also in the way it is implemented. The music is used as another way of storytelling, taking the place of dialogue or action in the frame. I mentioned this a while back when I said there was a Magnum PI episode that was clearly influenced by Miami Vice. When comparing Magnum and Miami, shows which were on the air at the same time, it really is startling.
Wolverine and the X-Men has also been turning out to be rather good too, at least so far (only one disc into the 6 disc series). The voice acting is decent, the animation ok, and the story is shaping up to be good. It is a riff off of the Day of Futures Past, which by now is getting a little old. But it still packs a good emotional wallop, as the struggle against bigotry which surrounds it is really the foundation of the X-Men franchise.
And I am still getting through at least one episode of The Great Queen Seondeok every day. It has really picked up now that a certain major character has died. The indecision and flatness that I saw in Deokman is now gone, replaced by a chilling resolve to see things through to the bitter end, and take Silla for her own. What I really like (and suspected would happen), is that she is putting the lessons she learned from her enemy Mishil to good use in her own path to power. Mishil herself has finally made a fatal mistake, that of believing her own PR, and thinking she is invincible. I can see that this will be her undoing.
