They won't give me ADHD meds and I might not be able to have my surgery because I need a test at the hospital to determine cause o my blood pressure being high and I just KNOW they can't get it done before my operation. I need this test to get meds. They will cancel my operation if my BP is too high.

Sure. I probably hate all the huge companies myself. But I think the iphone can be a good phone for me and make my life easier now that all my phoning options have been taken away. And that's all that matters to me now; making my life easy.
I personally prefer android. But if it works for you, by all means!
I like my android, too. Going on year 7 with this model.
Was thinking about one too but everyone says that if you haven't had a smartphone at all, an iphone is easier to get into.

Also, I can’t imagine the learning curves are that much different. I have an iPhone because that’s what most people I know have. It does what I need it to do and doesn’t cause me any problems.

My brother said he really likes the iphone, and that's him coming from all androids before. It's simple and more safe with the apps. Of course, I would primarily get it in order to have something to make calls with, and texting of course. I don't want to download too many apps since that can slow the phone down I hear.

It will come with some pre-installed apps which you *can* delete, should you so choose.
Probably won't delete anything, at least not immediately. I will want a weather app and possibly something else if I find anything that looks fun (and free) on the app store. Not games though, not even PvZ. I don't like gaming on a small screen with my fingers in the way

I'm happy with my android but those I know with iphones are happy with them too. One consideration is if you have a friend who is tech smart and can help you with questions, get the same brand they have. That's why I picked android.

I've never had an iphone. I just hate apple on a moral level more than google (though that's getting close) and iphones are more expensive.

And yeah; more spensive. Their cheapest Samsung was 200 bucks and the iphone 15 was 850 but at least I'll gett $100 off when paying in full.
