Iīve had problems with this too so I have just given up on the whole thing. Think my last effort was with the last puter I had. And would you imagine, my 10.000 dollar Blu-Ray player wonīt read our home made discs written in a Blue-Ray player! But it says in the manual it should read them!

Well, this one's never had a virus...But last year, the comp before this one got some sort of Military Grade virus that not even Techie Brother-In-Law could rescue...Christ knows where it came from...
Brother-In-Law managed to recover the music and the writing, but the hard-drive was completely frazzled by the data-goo that clammed it up...

I saw it as the new standard when the Red-Ray (or whatever) didnīt come through. I chose Blu-Ray because I saw no reason to get a DVD when the Blu-Ray could also play DVD..

The worst thing with Blu-ray is that the manufacturers can literally force you to buy a new player in order to watch new films because of the shitty DRM
