Lol, at the minute I'm struggling / attempting / cursing / contemplating vodka at 4 in the afternoon / banging my head against the table to write a 3000-7000 word story based around the theme of Absolution, for....oh what was it again?



If I do actually manage to write this, it will be the first thing of any sort I've written in a year and a half - and I'd forgotten how hard it is to start writing again when you've had a long break. It's like I've never written a sentence before in my life at the minute.

I know that feeling, I find myself telling instead of showing after a long break. Still, I am excited to hear you are entering the fray! I may forgive your abrupt departure from Poisonous Garden if I get to read your Absolution story, lol. The "WOOOOOOOOOOT" still stands!

Considering the number of entries I've recieved so far, you could post a load of incoherent illiterate drivel and you'd win by default...

That's because SOAD is a little eccentric to most people. I've always enjoyed their music though. As Treydog said though, taste is relative to the person.

I like rap too. Older stuff, nothing newer by popular artists.

Mainly because I hate autotune and don't think that today's rappers have anything resembling style...not because I'm trying to be cool and like retro rap. They mostly just spout stereotypical garbage that was popular 20 years ago.

I've gotta agree with you on that. I'm not really into the new mainstream rappers. I've gotta say Eminem, Tupac, 50 cent, Dr. dre, etc. etc. are my favorite rappers.

Big band swing-era 78's aren't too hard to find, because they made a lot of them. And some of those bands have been re-formed and are still grinding out the old stuff in Branson Mo. (scary place!)
