This amazing song from the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. The game is Midnight Resistance and is the sequel to Heavy Barrel. This song is probably the BEST song on the Genesis next to the ending song from Golden Axe and Flash of Sword from Valis 1.
mirocu
Really good one, Reaps! Mega Drive /Genesis had some awesome tunes for sure! My personal fave is stage one from Sunset Riders biggrin.gif

Sunset Riders---love that game. On the Midnight Resistance song "Flood of Power" as it's named, I saw a playthough of it on YT and was blown away by it. I hope with the Genesis Online app on the Switch they bring this game back for it cause man that's one Hell of a song for the Genesis.

Volbeat - For evigt
Lena Wolf
Victor and the Bully - all of it
But the first is still the best!

I don't know, I'm kind a like in this kind of mood today
mirocu
Since Blackpink's mega hit DDU-DU-DDU-DU just hit 1.8 billion views I thought we could celebrate it biggrin.gif

1.8 billion!
macole
Expecting 6-8 inches of snow and I'm feeling fine. The mood has changed as I listen to PG&E Are You Ready.
Yes , yes I'm ready
macole
An old T-REX favorite while working on an Oblivion project.
mirocu
Will Smith - Black suits coming

Imo the best movie song ever to this day! biggrin.gif
macole
Good one!
mirocu
Thanks, macole!

Again, in my humble opinion it's the best song to tie in with a movie ever made. It works both in the movie and as a standalone thing. Will's astronomical charisma (+10) and excellent rap in a song catchy as a Kpop song, you can't end up with anything but a winner. Loads better than the first one he did.

Like Terminator 2; sometimes the second try is the true charm! biggrin.gif

Just got back from our first concert since before the pandemic hit. Ghost, with Volbeat and Twin Temple. A good time was had by all.
mirocu
Finally I gave this one a good listen and yes; it's a good'un.

Dreamcatcher - Always

As you can tell, things got a bit emotional for the girls as this was the first time they could meet their fans in a live setting since you-know-what and also first time they saw their fans with the official lightstick.

I've been listening, quite a lot, to Ronald Brautigam's fortepiano recording of Beethoven's Eroica Variations. I'm partial to well make and maintained fortepianos, as Brautigam's instrument most certainly is. (It's very likely a McNulty modern reproduction, though the video's description makes no mention of it.)

(audio) Beethoven, 15 Variations and a Fugue on an Original Theme in E-Flat Major, Op. 35, "Eroica Variations". Ronald Brautigam - fortepiano (audio)

I've also been listening to B's (relatively) short 31st piano, with Brautigam again on fortepiano. I have the entire Brautigam Beethoven piano sonata set on SACDs, but these days prefer to listen to them on YouTube, where I can slope my PC speakers higher frequencies to the moon in hope of hearing them well enough to enjoy the music, which in this case I can, to a make-do extent. smile.gif

I've been getting back into Belle & Sebastian lately. "Nobody's Empire", a song of theirs that had somehow escaped notice from me, is a new favorite.

Nobody's Empire on YouTube

In this case I can really say that Family Guy led me here tongue.gif

Cool!

They're beyond awesome! I honestly think they're using a bass guitar and have to remind myself they're acapella! ohmy.gif

Thought I was out of Kpop now but these guys hauled me back in! I guess tongue.gif
mirocu
Hanna Ferm - Välkommen åter
Acadian
'Catchy' is the word that comes to mind. smile.gif
mirocu
Yes! Once again Hanna Ferm delivers! biggrin.gif

Always liked her songs, more or less, and this one's the best so far! Really takes over the torch from Intruktionsboken by Miss Li.
mirocu
As I'm on the verge of going on VACATION, I have decided to have this as my theme song biggrin.gif

Ace Wilder - Busy Doin' Nothin'
mirocu
My goodness gracious, this is an oldie but goodie for me. Haven't heard it in years now and it STILL brings me to tears. It's magic.

OHMYGIRL - Closer

And Secret Garden

*sniff*
Acadian
Two very nice songs, mirocu. happy.gif

The name Secret Garden reminds me. . .

As you may know, Buffy has a superb singing voice, augmented by the rare gift of projecting telepathic images during her songs to her listeners. During a quest on one of the Summerset Isles in the 2nd Era, Buffy's cover required her to join an acting troupe. For her audition, she was asked to perform a lullaby. When Buffy sings, we choose songs performed by very select group of female vocalists that include a group called Secret Garden. This lullaby is called Sleepsong.
mirocu
What a beautiful song, Acadian! And I would very much say it lines up perfectly with OhMyGirl's concept. Well, at least the one they used to have. Dreamy, kind of fairytale or simply put; magical. It also reminds me of Tir na nog that you showed me some time ago.

Thanks for sharing this gem! happy.gif

Deus Ex - NYC streets

I cannot believe how many memories flood my brain whenever I listen to this song; Sitting in this very chair, in this very apartment, at this very desk, playing the greatest game of my life. Twenty years ago. It was another world. A world I cannot access but which still lives on in my mind. Never mind me playing Oblivion for fifteen years and counting. When this track comes on, everything vanishes and all that exists are the memories from two decades ago.

The world has moved on but I'm still there; sitting alone in the dark and with the balcony door slightly open to bring in the summer night air. I've left the pub, the girls and my buds, and all that remains is the game and the music playing through the night. And I couldn't be happier.
macole
That is good, it just ends to soon.
mirocu
Not really a Christmas song so I'll put it here. An old Swedish classic!

Really? That's cool. But no, I'm not listening to them anymore. They were overtaken by Kpop not that long after I found them and I never looked back tongue.gif

You gonna go to their show?
Kane
Nah, not my style. I am entertaining tickets to see Gojira later this year, though.
mirocu
Btw, BLACKPINK is apparently also in the States now. I'd rather go and see them even though they include a bunch of backup dancers these days, even male ones.

Like, c'mon. They're BLACKPINK. They don't need backup dancers.
mirocu
Iron Maiden - The Trooper LIVE at Sweden Rock Festival!

And no; I wasn't the one filming. Wasn't even there *sad panda*

I honor of Robbie Robertson I was listening to a lot of songs from The Band today.
