Lopov, I liked that quest in Windhelm. Looks like Aard did a good job butchering the Butcher.

So Aard had his showdown with The Butcher inside Hjerim? My last time around trying that quest the same thing happened. But all the earlier times The Butcher attacks someone in the Stone Quarter, usually right in front of the guards, and that is where he gets killed. So I thought it was a just a glitch when I found him in Hjerim that most recent time. But it looks like Bethesda changed the quest, I suppose in the final update for the game.

@Acadian - I agree, the quest is good though I have done it so many times by now that I know it in details.

@SubRosa - it happened for the first time in my game as well. Besides, the Butcher usually attacked in the alley behind the market, leading to the graveyard while this time he attacked his victim openly in the market, in front of a guard. But the guard didn't seem to react at all.

@Renee - you had to look down there, right?

mALX, thanks to Lopov's recommendation, I've been using Simple Actions for quite some time now. You can see it in Buffy's screenshots whenever she is sitting crosslegged.

Yup, and my cleric can meditate with Simple Actions. Such a great mod. It comes in handy when your character forgets to rent rooms, but doesn't feel like going all the way back to the innkeeper. Hey, just get on the bed, lie down, and sleep for free!

Athla, my Dunmer mage, duly made friends with several Orcs, and built Greenspring Stronghold. But then she decided to let Mjoll teach her something about two-handed, and Hulked out against Morokei on her way to get a nice amulet for herself.

She's now telling me that Redguards wear some nice outfits she'd like to try. Are they appropriate for a Mystic Barbarian?

I really laughed when I saw Athla wearing only bits and pieces of her 'mage uniform'. How very ghastley!

I hard night's work for Solstheim's only rock star. At least he has a bed to sleep in, and not the cold stone floor! Now he just needs some groupies...

Shala's got himself a good and solid, albeit modest gig going on there in Raven Rock. Maybe he'll want to stay when that ship gets fixed?

Yaah he got himself a small audience, this time! People are actually watching Shala. I felt so bad for him when he was playing in that first set of pics, and it looked like nobody pays attention. Oh, and he got a room with an actual bed this time, too!!!

You didn't post how many tips he made this time though, so how much did he make?

Okay, time for some Nassqa. I got inspired by Shala pics, you know.. a peaceful sort of RP rather than a dangerous one. In these pics, Nassqa decided to go to the far side of Lake Ilinalta on a quest for new ore veins to mine. In the past, he's found mostly iron veins in the Riverwood / Whiterun area, but he did manage to find a rare moonstone vein once. Well in the pics below, he didn't have much luck this day.

For instance, he got kind of frustrated because he found a clay deposit (see pic 4 below), but clay isn't worth nearly as much as ores, so he got upset because he found two clay deposits in a row. He had to walk all the way around the north side of Ilinalta before he finally found some iron he could mine. And he dug there until nightfall.

Renee - Nice to see that Nassqa the miner is still doing well. I see he was not impressed by Anise.

Lopov - Brawls are one of those things so far removed from Buffy's skillset that she has never participated in even one of them. . . so, it is nice to see some brawling screens from Aard's game. Into the DB then, is it? No surprise there. Yay for Meeko!

Lopov, Shala looks great! I think that outfit is an excellent choice for him. Poor guy started off with nowhere to rest. Raven Rock is a fun place to be impoverished. The locals can really make you feel unwelcome. Drummer is my favorite picture of him. He is very good-looking. Oh, and I see he finally has a bed! And yay for Aard finding a companion!

ghastley, I love Athla’s hair. She’s a Mystic Barbarian! If she’s talking about the Alik’r dancer outfits, I think they would suit her very well.

Renee, Nassqa has a great face. I like the picture with the bridge and the road curving around. Crab legs for dinner if he can trade some of his mud for butter. I like his uncomplicated life.

Thanks ! .... Nassqa is currently a little in-joke at the moment. Me and Lopov both have these non-violent roleplays with Nassqa and Shala, in which we put all this energy, and we spend all this time, yet nothing really gets accomplished! It's surprisingly immersive, in a weird sort of way, to be with characters who barely scrape a living

Luke has joined the Jedi Academy! I see his first instructor is none other than Tolfdir Wan Kenobi. And he even has himself a set of Jedi Robes now!

And Tolfdir Wan's first real test is to send him under the dark tree to confront the Dark Side of the Force. Namely Darth Jyrik. But Luke has his trusty lightsaber to see him through!

@ Ghastley - I Love Athla's hair! And hulking out !!!!!! I feel an ifinity with her!

Looks like Mjoll is hulking out too! And that amulet is AWESOME !!! Everytime I see it I am struck by the fact you were able to make that; what an amazing talent you have; and the creativity to implement that talent - Awesome !!!




@ Lopov - Your roleplay has always intrigued me, I remember in Oblivion the little room for your character and his personality; a really awesome and in depth character!

Aw, he earned enough to get a room! I love that screen, and like the sleeping position too - he looks like a weary traveler who worked hard to finally earn a bed!

The mod screenshots should have shown more poses if more were offered. They only showed screens of two positions, I didn't know they had other positions except by your screens here!

I have to agree with Lopov on the neck seam, must be some story in his background where his throat was cut in some ritual or something! Still, a great looking character!

Neck seam? Okay, wow, that is weird. I did not notice that before. Gotta be some mod, of course. I may have forgotten to load one of his required mods up (he's got like 3 or 4 just for his appearance alone).

Althla encountered the Old Orc's identical twin brother! We know it wasn't him, because we kind of killed him already. But in honour of the other one, she hulked out to give him the good death he requested.

Nassqa really does look very Asian in that pic. I am still disappointed that I cannot make any japanese-looking chicks in this game. Then I could play a Ninja who had dimension-traveled to Tamriel.

It looks like Claire has been walking in circles!

The White Wizard looks like one of those old Civil War generals, only whiter!

You might try Enhanced Character Edit with WW. It lets you completely change the color of your character's skin and hair, by using the red, green, blue number codes. You could really make him white if you wanted.

So wait ... by "hulking out," is her breasts going from A-cups to HH's? (just kidding)

Lopov – Great shots of Lucius’ introduction to the College. Showing up in full stalrhim makes a pretty good statement to the mages that Lucius is no newb! Deep Below – Oh My! What a terrifying shot of Lucius jumping right in to Jyrik’s face! I was so very struck by that because Buffy has done that quest numerous times and her first move, after a distant glimpse of him seated on that throne, is to crouch and back away to plot a way to fight that maintains maximum range. The concept of jumping into his face could never compute to Buffy!

Renee – Three great looking characters! The miner, the cutie cleric and the old wiz! Seriously, you’ve done a really nice job with all three. I did chuckle as Claire was praying as I imagined Aela saying, “Can you put in a good word for me with Hircine?”

Edit: Reading Renee's post below, it strikes me I completely overlooked ghastley's hulkette shot. I'll plead that I'm still a bit ill (true). Great to see your mod in action. First time we encountered that old orc was waaay back first learning the game. Tried to give him a good death but he quickly gave me one! Buffy wishes she could convince the old orc that being her follower and guarding her horse has to be better than just hanging around to die.

You can do it! There's gotta be a way. I started with Akaviri Japanese Race?. One of the mods the author recommends no longer seems to exist (Oriental Beauty Faces), but I was able to use ECE, Apachi Skyhair, and XCE to get Nassqa created. I used XCE and ECE to smooth out his face, and get some specific angles and stuff.

It sucks that Oriental Beauty Faces seems to not be around, though. This seems to be how the mod author got her guy and girl looking super pretty and movie-like.

The White Wizard ..... actually I did not use ECE for him. I do want to find some white robes for him though, eventually. Gotta be a mod out there that adds white robes, right?

All that remains to be revealed is that Alduin is in fact Lucius' father and in the final battle he must lose his arm.

It's possible with Playable Instruments mod. The only problem encountered so far is that you no longer receive tips when audience runs out of money so this makes performing for the same crowd each night, like Shala does, impossible in a long run unless you reset their inventories with the console which is somewhat tedious. I thought that tips are randomly generated and not actually taken from the audience.

The bar is vanilla, it's the only inn on Solstheim.

Lucius might consider sniping Jyrik (though not from sneak attacks because he never does that) but he's not a good archer, not to mention the fact that he still uses basic Imperial bow which doesn't deal a lot of damage. But he's too attached to that piece of wood to ditch it.

@Renee: Nassqua looks great and his neck seam seems to be gone.

Claire is cute indeed, I like her smile.

The White Wizard looks even better in these pics, he looks like he's been through a lot. In general I find Bretons the most difficult race to create in such a way that they look interesting, but you did a great job with TWW.

Definitely!! I have a character Alesan Mikkesson who is a merchant. (Here is a picture outside his childhood home with NPC teen Braith who in his world grew up to kick a lot of ass and not wear much clothing.) He lives in the shop I built for a modding class at TESA, behind him in the picture. He is on hold at the moment, but he will be one of those non-questers who mines and picks flowers and stays out of trouble. He’s going to have to buy soul gems for his enchanting, so that should keep him poor. I’m starting him off with a house and shop because he is the son of my retired character Mikke of Green River who used to have barrels full of gold all over the place. I figure she’d give him at least a door with a lock on it when he headed off to make his fortune.

Lopov, I have never seen those coffins! That is a really neat picture! Lucius looks very fine in his expert robes and circlet. I am a HUGE fan of his beard!! I am very impressed that Lucius leaped through the air and chopped Jyrik while standing on his table!! That was awesome!

Renee, maybe that was a seam from Naasqa’s outfit. I’ve had that happen before, and I don’t see it at all in his hide armor. He looks great at Alvor’s place. I like that he is not an enormous guy. Claire is adorable. She looks so perky in her Legion armor. How funny with the footprints! I love The White Wizard’s eyes, and that is the best use of bushy eyebrows I’ve seen!

ghastley, I’ve never met the dead OO’s twin before! I see that Athla and Mjoll(?) have twin blades and there are twin Sabre cats to go along with the other twins in the picture. Great to see that Athla’s awesome hairstyle is Hulk-friendly!

Acadian, Buffy is in good company in not jumping onto a draugr’s lap, lunatic battlemage/Luke Skyrimmer-style. Staying low and shooting from a shadow is a solid plan, but still more than one of mine have been chased ‘round and ‘round that table!

Lopov part 2, I wonder if Playable Instruments would work with Become a Bard. They seem to use different methods for playing. With both mods a bard could play for a paycheck at the inns and also play for tips out on the world. I’ll have to check it out. Yay, Aard pictures! He looks menacing in his assassin uniform, but I like him in his black vampire armor better. Whoa, that’s a lot of wolves!

Lopov – Good shots of Aard and his bloody wake. And a whole pack of ice wolves! The DB is certainly keeping him busy!

Grits – Although he’s a fine character, I find myself wishing Alesan would step out of the way from blocking my view of Braith. She is smokin’ that ‘kini!

Oh, Alesan is not so bad to look at himself. He certainly has grown from his days as that annoying kid barging through Dawnstar with his pot! Still, I wouldn't kick Braith out of bed for eating crackers...

Yeah, these coffins seem never-ending, I've never noticed them until then.

I think Aard looks better in his vampire armor too. Besides, wearing Shrouded Armor is like telling entire Skyrim "Hey, look at me, I'm an assassin". Maybe he'll only wear it for some special contracts.

Grits - that is the best looking Braith I've ever seen, much better than the green haired one I've seen everywhere else! What child mod are you using?

Thanks! That is one of the outfits from Peasant Fashion. I use the esp from Peasant Fashion Fixed to deal with some issues (like the surprise naked NPCs in my Caption This thread pics). So far (in his two or three hours of play) Alesan wears only light gauntlets and boots for armor along with regular clothing. All of his perks will go to crafting, so he will rely upon his natural Redguard dual-wielding badassery (+10 One-Handed and Adrenaline Rush) to wipe out his attackers before they can kill him. In theory. We’ll see how it goes.

SubRosa, I made a spectacle of myself snorting in public while watching that video. Twice!

Thanks! That Braith is not from a child mod. She is an NPC that I made with the adult char-gen to be Bethesda’s Whiterun Braith all grown up. She is a follower/best friend for my Sofie Mikkesdaughter character since in my retired character Mikke of Green River’s game Mikke adopted the Hearthfire-added orphans Sofie and Alesan and moved to Breezehome. So when I made her kids Sofie and Alesan as adult characters to play I also made them as NPCs for each other along with adult versions of two of the Whiterun kids (Braith and Lars Battleborn) who would have been their childhood friends. I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for the kind words about teen Braith, folks! I had to put face paint on her when I made her because she looked too beautiful, lol. I think Redguards are the best looking race in the game. I just wish they had more vanilla textured hair options.

Lucius has been busy! Magnificent scenics around Azura’s Shrine. Undead – vampires and draugr – plenty of fighting going on there. Glad he’s got Erik helping out some. Wow, big dragon fight! I recognize the Stalhrim Stallion of course, but who are all his helpers?

These are some of the best Skyrim screens I've ever seen! You have a real knack or skill for capturing the feel of the entire battle in each screen; it feels like we battled it with you - and that last scene of the unity in fighting the dragon reinforces it!

I don't even know your character as well as I know some characters on this site; but still can't choose any favorite among this group of screens; they are all too powerful that none can be eliminated as the best. Awesome group of screens !!!!

The one closest to the screen is Erik the Slayer, the rest are Stormcloak soldiers that happened to be in the area at the same time. They are added by some mod that adds more patrols.
Lucius is a relative newcomer on this world, he was created on the 11th of November 2014, but he's slowly making his way to the top.

Lucius pictures! That looks like it was a beautiful day at Azura’s Shrine. Yikes, Kvenel’s ghost blade went right through Lucius! I love the way his spell lights up his face in the ghastl(e)y picture.

Wow, Erik looks great in his ebony armor, and a nice contrast to Lucius in his Stalhrim. Mikrul vs Lucius is my favorite of this group, but the last one with everyone fighting the dragon is a close second. What a fun group of screenshots.

I think that will have to be Lucius' porn star name!
