Uh oh, it looks like two giant marbles are about to fall on Windhelm!

That bonfire looks really appealing.

Warm has a fancy bow with deer on it.

You keep what you kill, that is the Necromonger way.

I suspect that Potema won't be such a problem for much longer.

Looks like someone is full of hot air...

@SubRosa

Yeah, Skyrim is really beautiful. One of my favorite things to do when I can on my characters is just. Nice a nice place to camp and just. Rest of that period. Or have it as the base for the area. Its. Quite nice. First time I really tried Hunterborn I had an Argonian Hunter Root-Tongue who just camped out in an overworld cave in the woods and worked around the Rift.

I also cannot recommend enough the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod if your system can handle it. Warm has had SUCH adventures being an arcaeologist, co-curator, and Airship enthusiast.
Acadian
Arcry, your game looks great and seems like you've got things set up with plenty of extracuriculars to do. I do remember Potema's lair (I think) as being fun for a sniper. I also remember Inigo as a very good companion mod!
Arcry
Yeah I have a few Companions. Inigo, Lucien Flavius, Auri the Bosmer, and Kaiden. I always like to stack my game with stuff to do though. Bigger mods that I have are Interesting NPCs, Bruma, and Legacy of the Dragonborn. Keeps my character busy. XD
Kane
Skyrim time again! This time featuring Idari Mor, an Imperial Scholar with a specialty in Dragon Lore. She just arrived in Solitude after a Sabbatical in her homeland, and she already hears whispers of an incident near the southern border.
Renee
Sweet! Welcome Idari. cake.gif She's a hottie.

I have also been playing Skyrim a bit here and there as the weather gets colder outside.
SubRosa
Welcome Ida!

She looks like she is primarily a mage. Are you doing an alternate start, to begin the game outside of Solitude?

Must have been subconscious for me, too. Just had to fight through mod issues first, lol.

She'll be more Spellsword than Mage, the robes are her light traveling gear. Yup, Arthmoor's Live Another Life, arrived by ship start. She's going to suss out Solitude and try to get a lay of the land before heading south.

Tell me about it, Kane. Every year when I start up Skyrim for the winter I have to go through some sort of modding / game issues first. Usually Steam-related. mad.gif I think this year of 2020 is the first in which everything went smoothly. No CTDs-on-launch, no missing MCM menu, and so on.

I've never had such a fight. My load order isn't that big and rarely changes, so I can usually get Skyrim installed and modded in 4 hours or less. Six months of time in between made a difference, though.
First I kept getting CTD before the main menu, and I sussed out that Carriage & Ferry Travel Overhaul and Immersive Citizens are no longer compatible and conflict.

Then I found out that a new hair mod I was trying is possibly the most incompatible mod ever. Vanilla Hair Replacer is incompatible with literally every other mod that touches an NPC, and gives half the population blackface.

Once I got that fixed and got my Elven overhaul mods installed, Idari's eyebrows got buried in her forehead. Luckily, that was easily fixed by telling Wrye Bash to install it last.

At this point I though I was golden! But by the time I got to Rorikstead, every Dog in the game seemed to hate me and would instantly attack. Then half of Riverwood, and the Vigilant of Stendarr did the same. It was at that point that I decided to remove AI Overhaul and restart.

Fingers crossed everything works now. I've been trying since Tuesday night.
Acadian
Glad you got things going! Beautiful sunset beyond Honningbrew.
Renee
Yes, I am glad you figured out your Skyrim, Kane. I tried using that Carriage mod long ago. I can remember it moved way too fast as it moved away from Whiterun, and then *Bam* there's the CTD. Screw that. Uninstall that mod, please, Wrye Smash.

Seems you are using an alternate start?

SubRosa
Off on a new adventure.

Fantastic sunset at the end.

I think this may be a different mod. The one I'm using just gives more travel options for the carriages - you can go to small villages and settlements, too. And it adds ferrys to any waterways that can be traversed, as well as in the port cities. I can ferry from Windhelm to Dawnstar, etc.

Yep, Arthmoor's Alternate Start. I used the arrive by ship at Solitude option. She many made arrangements before arriving, including the purchase of The Tower of the Wolf.
Acadian
More nice scenics, Kane, culminating with a beautiful night sky!
SubRosa
Fantastic skies!
Renee
Here are some more Claire Voyance pictures. She is doing some holy work in Silverdrift Lair, ridding draugr and vampires! evillol.gif

Draugr broski

Healing Lydia -- (Claire is on right. She heals ppl a lot as they do the actual fighting).

Oops, wrong game! -- Vicious is friendly to Vicious Dogs if she wears her special raider armor.

Return to thine un-death, fallen one!

Turn Undead at its finest

Looks like Claire is playing as a cleric - fun!

Awesome pics Renee! We did a one shot D&D game back in like November or December and we all played Clerics! laugh.gif
SubRosa
Clarie is a force multiplier, keeping her troops in the field long after they would have normally fallen.

I love that Vicious D is friendly with Vicious Dogs!

Claire's game is very bright and filled with light!
Kane
Took a long time to build a new load order around watching my little one, but the goal has been achieved. This time I opted to follow the STEP Guide to mix things up a little (lottle?) bit. I'll start with some scenic shots, and the a couple of a resurgent character.

LinneĆ”, v2

SubRosa
Great to see Linnea 2.0!
Acadian
Kane, your game (and character) looks great! goodjob.gif
Kane
Thanks & thanks!

I was trying to make her look a little bit older, and less porcelain like this time around. Linnea v.1 looked a little too young in hindsight.
Lopov
That's a lot of s goodjob.gif now!

Is that Nightgate in the first pic?
Acadian
Very picturesque shots there, Kane! goodjob.gif
SubRosa
Neat winter night in the first pic.

A picturesque view of the Solitude port.

Yeah, Cutting Room Floor turns it into the village of Heljarchen.
Lopov
He should be called Unlucky Lorenz.

That book is awesome, I hope that next time you're going to reveal, what does B stand for. biggrin.gif
Renee
B? That stands for Barbarian! RAWR! viking.gif

Great shots and your game looks really good. The foresty shot near Shriekwind looks especially inviting. smile.gif
SubRosa
Love that sky in the Tundra.
Renee
Really love the rainy pic. Looks really cozy. Makes me want to play some Skyrim. viking.gif

Looks like Bob Ross painted Mzulft in the Distance, including his happy little trees and clouds. smile.gif
SubRosa
Delvin has some cheesebread!
Acadian
Those cloud and snow kissed peaks in the distance look both foreboding and alluring to intrepid adventurers.

*Throws rice for the happy couple!*

Skyrim looks good on the switch. Is it the SE version? Or a version of the SE version? Or a ported version of the original?

smile.gif biggrin.gif

It's a port of the SE version so it's got all of the extra bits. It runs really well.
Renee
*Runs from room when bouquet gets tossed* panic.gif

Ah, I can see her missing eye in the one pic. Skyrim looks lovely and tempting, as usual. I'll probably join Kaia there in a month or so (when weather cools down here in Maryland).

Look forward to seeing you there!

I can barely notice the scars at all as well...

That haul of loot will definitely pay some bills!
