Who would ever guess that a guy named Damian would be possessed by a demon?

Round One! Fight!

The Predator is a Xivilai!

That is a very red place.

And a Lopov shot in Oblivion!
Renee
QUOTE(Acadian @ Dec 31 2018, 03:21 PM) *

Renee - Good thing SV is getting his calories back up after fighting that GIANT spider! ohmy.gif

Mm hmm you said it, and note that Vyvoor's fighting a GIANT spider (cough). I recently found a giant centipede mod, I think I'm going to share pics of that soon! biggrin.gif Anyway...

"Knight, do this! Knight... summon that!" She looks really good in that Trail of a Madman pic.

Lol, she finally has a tender moment, and the guy she's kissing doesn't bother to remove his gauntlets! cmok.gif

Crap, I've fallen behind. I'll have to comment on the rest next time.
Lopov
@SubRosa - the fight with Predothor was done really well, you needed to fight him three times, first in human form, then as a Xivilai, and then once again as a Xivilai in Oblivion. Souissi emptied most of her healing potions but fortunately she could replenish her health in blood fountains in Oblivion.

@Renee - the guy she got briefly involved with, was in fact demonic Prince Damian, he was also the madman, on whose trail Souissi has been.

.
.
.

When it was time to face Prince Damian, he called to his aid the protector of the royal family of High Rock, the bloodthirsty Griffon.

Attacked by the Griffon, Damian's guards and Damian himself it wasn't easy for Souissi to stand against them all. First of all, fell the Prince.

But just like his late bodyguard Predothor, the Prince transformed into his true self upon 'dying'.

Souissi, however, didn't have difficulties killing his other form as well and sending the Prince to wherever demons go when killed on Nirn.

Compared to the Prince, his bodyguard and other guards, the Griffon was surprisingly easy to bring down.

Immediately after killing the Griffon, Souissi was brought to a special place, where Mara addressed her again. Her work in High Rock wasn't over yet. She revealed to Souissi a horrifying secret of the Prince's father, King Sigmayne. Unlike his son, the King wasn't possessed by a demon, yet he had a demonic personality. Souissi was teleported to the Royal Palace, where she obviously wasn't very welcome.

She rescued several children from the King's clutches and faced the King himself.

Just like before, she needed to fight the King's bodyguards too.

In the end nobody was alive in the Royal Palace, except Souissi and rescued children.

By the time Souissi was done with the King, the civil unrest escalated in High Rock, following the death of the tyrannic prince. Evermore, the capital town, was on fire!

Streets weren't safe anymore,...

...in fact they were extremely hazardous to health.

As Souissi was making her way out of the Reach, Hermaeus Mora was patiently waiting.
SubRosa
The griffon looks neat.

Good night, sweet prince.

Well, perhaps not quite so sweet... ohmy.gif

Looks like they had a warm welcome in store for Souissi

Let the bodies hit the floor!

Is there anyone in High Rock Souissi didn't kill? wink.gif laugh.gif
Renee
Whoa, that's so wicked! She was forced into a death match! I love that idea. Sounds intense!

And then congrads to her for turning tides upon the wicked royalty. Lovely work there, from Souissi, and the mod author.

Lopov
@SubRosa - at least Souissi had a good reason to kill.

If siding with the Prince instead, it's possible to expose the King or not. The Griffon lives, though.

@Renee - the match was intense indeed. If she couldn't heal herself with fountains in Oblivion, she'd be dead because she ran out of all healing potions. Still, the mod author probably placed them there for a good reason, because he knew, that the battle with Predothor would be very, very difficult.

Souissi never liked the royalty and never felt like a part of them. cool.gif

.
.
.

With the Civil War uprising in High Rock, many people fled from their homes, heading for Skyrim. As Souissi came to the Divide, the border town between High Rock and Skyrim, and wanted to board a carriage to Skyrim with others, some knights asked for her help again. A tribe of Orcs led by bloodthirsty Dum-Korz was trying to ruin the bridge leading out of the town with the help of Orcish shamans. Tired from all the battles, Souissi couldn't turn the knights down and assaulted the encampment of Orcs on her own.

Unfortunately, this time Lady of Luck didn't smile upon her. Not only she didn't manage to stop the ritual in time, but Dum-Korz and other Orc strongmen caught up with her.

Her head became thick because of all the blows it received, so what would kill an ordinary man, knocked Souissi merely unconscious.

Stripped of her weapons, she was brought before Dum-Korz.

The Orcish leader planned a special execution for Souissi. Before setting her on fire alive, his boys would have fun with her first.

Seeing only one option how to escape and having nothing to lose, Souissi asked Dum-Korz to fulfill her last wish. Before he could ask her what it is, Souissi told him, that she'd merely like to read a verse from her favorite book. Astonished, Dum-Korz agreed, but not before several of his strongmen surrounded Souissi. It could be a trick after all.

And a trick it was. The book which Souissi read was not an ordinary one, but a black book which she acquired in the realm of Hermaeus Mora. Within seconds after opening the book, tentacles spread from it, entwined around Souissi and sucked her in.

Before Dum-Korz could comprehend what had just happened, Souissi has already been in the realm of Hermaeus Mora. Yet the Daedric Lord didn't forget how she had tricked him a while ago.

"And now, my dear mortal, you and me will have a long conversation..."

.
.
.

For the time being this is the end of Souissi's adventures. My growing daughter, job and learning a new foreign language unfortunately no longer allow me to have enough free time to game. kvleft.gif

So what happens to Souissi, remains a mystery for now. Will she make her way out of Hermaeus Mora's realm or will she be forced to serve the Daedric Lord for eternity? It remains to be seen.

Thanks for checking the screenies. goodjob.gif
Renee
Very good, she escaped death by reading a book!

Hope to see you around at least Lopov, it's been fun. smile.gif
SubRosa
Note to self - Religion - Scary.

Oh noes, Souissi is down for the count!

Souissi does not look like much fun to me...

Read any good books lately? Looks like only bad ones... ohmy.gif

Uh oh, this does not look good for our heroine.
SubRosa
Lin is looking ready for fun!

Wonderful roseate glow in the second pic.

The third pic looks like a dragon. Very neat! goodjob.gif

Renee
Such atmospheric pictures. I love the sunset one. Even the gloomy finale ... you managed to catch some good color and contrast there.
Acadian
Good to see you back and playing Skyrim, Kane. Your game and character both look fabulous! goodjob.gif

Are you playing regular or special edition? I'm wondering which makes a better platform for a modded Skyrim.
SubRosa
Time for some BBQ!

I love her hair, and her backpack.

The camp looks cozy. The only thing it needs are mushrooms.

The mystery sunset looks awesome.

So does the eternally autumn forest of the Rift.
Renee
I think the older game has more modding options (a higher number of mods at Nexus), but the newer game has the newest modding options, Acadian. So it all depends which version.

Give me a couple more months and yeah, I will be. smile.gif

Looks like she's got a posse of soldiers. viking.gif viking.gif viking.gif Very nice. I smiled at Pep Talk. I had a cleric who was very peppy, and annoyed her followers with soccer mom-type behavior.

Kane
Acadian; thanks! I'm using Legacy of the Dragonborn, too, which is keeping it fresh. smile.gif My game is on Special Edition - it's catching up to LE with all of the important mods and the 64 bit engine is much more stable. When you get your load order perfect in SSE you get zero CTD's.

SubRosa; I love the Backpack. It's my favorite part of Campfire, especially combined with Realistic Needs and Diseases.

Renee; I love the idea of the soccer-mom character. I keep imagining one of those soccer ball window stickers on the back of a carriage! laugh.gif

Well here is my "soccer mom". laugh.gif Can you see it in her face, how peppy she is? She's all about The Nine too (or maybe The Eight, it's been awhile), so she'd constantly lecture her followers about religion, typical of real soccer moms.

SubRosa
It looks a lot nicer outside Darkshade than it does inside.

Some great atmospheric nature shots.

I love the wolves in the shack. It looks like they are eating off the shelves.

Acadian
Thanks for the info on your game. Yes, my hope was that modding would gradually catch up with SE.

As SubRosa said, some great atmospheric shots there - your game looks great.

Rats?!? Uh oh, must be another Fighters Guild mission. tongue.gif
Lopov
Grateful for some Mid Year's sun, that was warming her up, the young blonde lass was merrily walking down the road, soon to leave the Whiterun hold.

She stopped by the stream to drink some water, as cold and fresh as the morning.

A while later, she came upon a pair of wolves attacking a young mare. To save the mare, the lass quickly fired an arrow straight to one of the wolves, killing it, hence immediately gaining attention of its partner. Yet it was no match for her pair of glass daggers.

Back "home", at Half-Moon Mill, she cooked herself a tasty vegetable soup.

But in the night, the young blonde lass had work to do - dark work - disguised as a Falkreath guard, she killed an important member of the Jarl's court.

Though she might seem innocent at first, Sybil is in truth an assassin with a cold, cold heart. Once an orphan from Riften, she quickly made an aspiring career in the Dark Brotherhood.

After the work was done, she returned to her other home.
Acadian
Great shots, Lopov and your game looks wonderful. The lovely lass next door. Who happens to be a deadly assassin on the side. ohmy.gif tongue.gif
Renee
Shesus, a head shot! mellow.gif

Good to see Sybil back in action. What are you using to make her drink from streams?
SubRosa
We have not seen Sybil in a long time. I see she is back to slaying her way through Skyland.

It looks like she shot him right in the nose!

Lopov
@Acadian - thank you! Most small blondes are probably harmless, but this can't be said for Sybil.

@Renee - I played one of vanilla idles on her, I found its name through the use of console commands, can't remember it exactly, but if you type help "pickup" 4, you'll get a list of possible idles.

@SubRosa - Sybil is back to finish what she started in 2018 4E 201. I'll probably stay with her for a while, because I found a mod that expands the Dark Brotherhood questline, once the vanilla one concludes.

---

Sybil's next contract was to kill Gaius Maro, the son of Commander Maro, and incriminate him to make it look like he was to be involved in a future assasination attempt on the Emperor.

Disguised as a high-ranking Imperial soldier, Sybil slowly walked by Commander Maro and his son and overheard their conversation.

But Maros became suspicious of the helm-wearing Imperial and demanded her identification. Having no other choice, Sybil escaped from Dragon Bridge. *explanation at the end*

Shortly after, she was on Gaius' tail, as he left Dragon Bridge.

The perfect opportunity for Sybil arose, when Gaius Maro was attacked by Forsworn by the Broken Tower Redoubt and he was no match for the Forsworn pillager. Ashamed of himself, because some wild Forsworn got the best of him, Gaius Maro was waiting for the final strike, when some young blonde lass came to his help, sprinting and wielding shiny glass daggers. Perhaps he should be more suspicious of her, after seeing her in combat, but he pushed all thoughts aside because it was his own life, that was saved.

Grateful, though a bit ashamed, because some traveler, although a very pretty one, saw him at his worst, Gaius Maro and Sybil continued together toward Markarth.

Once there, however, Gaius became suspicious of his innocent-looking traveling companion. She claimed that she'll go to the inn, but instead she followed him all the way up to the guard tower. There Gaius explained to her, that he has an important duty to fulfill, and that he can't spend any time longer talking to her.

Sybil didn't came to talk, but Gaius couldn't know that. The only reason she followed him all the way up to the guard tower, was because there weren't many witnesses up there. Witnesses that could expose her, if they saw her slitting Gaius' throat.

After planting the letter of incrimination on Gaius' body, Sybil quietly left.

Back home, at Half-Moon Mill, she went for a refreshing swim in Lake Ilinalta. It wasn't so cold this time of the year.

---

I use a mod that makes one able to disguise if wearing a specific set of armor. However, getting too close to members of the same faction can get them hostile, which is exactly what happened in Dragon Bridge, so she had to flee the town.
Acadian
A successful mission and home in time for a nice swim! tongue.gif
SubRosa
So nice of Sibyl to walk Maro all the way to Markarth! laugh.gif

Lopov
@Acadian - there's no better place to swim in Skyrim, than Lake Ilinalta.

@SubRosa - your comment made me LoL. rollinglaugh.gif

"Someone so young shouldn't be in an inn all alone."
SubRosa
Neat spectral picture.

Too many cooks spoil the soup. Looks like Sybil fixed that issue...

She looks cool on Shadowmere
Acadian
Nice 'Lopov' shot of Sybil with Lucien in the background. goodjob.gif

"Someone so young..." Something tells me he's going to need a better pickup line that that. tongue.gif
Renee
Yah, I think if she asks to walk along with me somewhere I'll just stay around plenty of people.

Hey, she's bathing! wub.gif What a lucky lake.

WOW I really like the End of the Underwhatever pic. Love that negative contrast. That looks like a Renee shot.

WOW look at that armor set!!! Is that Immersive Armors???

Phew gotta calm down. So I started up Lord Haaf-Mersey's game. And figured out a new way to take screenies from Xbox, so I won't have to use my cell phone anymore. I cannot wait to do this for New Vegas screenies.

Leaving Whiterun

Praise the Nine!

Lakeview Manor (his home, which he shares with Mjoll, Rayya, and Lucia)

The Lord and Motormouth Mjoll

Dinner with Lucia

Haaf-Mersey's Man Cave
SubRosa
Its the Lord of Motormouth Hall!

His man cave has gems scattered around the floor! laugh.gif
Acadian
Renee, great screenshots of life with Mercy. tongue.gif

Despite Mjoll's repetitive lines, Buffy quite connected with the Lioness.
Lopov
@SubRosa - I use a mod that enhances the Spectral Assassin, so he's much more deadly than in the vanilla game. He also wears the same robes as in Oblivion.

And I also use a mod that makes Shadowmere black and with more glaring eyes.

@Acadian - if he said "someone so young, but already so deadly", he might have better chances. wink.gif

@Renee - you mean the armor set from the inn? That's a combination of Ranger Armor, added by Immersive Armos and the DB Bandolier, I'm not sure if bandoliers are added by IA or by another mod. Sybil likes to change her outfits quite often.

Nice screenies, there's a big difference seeing them like this instead of from the mobile phone. LHM looks very different than before. I like the pic as they're standing outside of Whiterun with light hovering above them.

What's that item next to the wooden bucket in his man cave? Red/pink with some brown on its surface?

Now all we want is a Lopov shot of the Lord.

---

After completing the final contract on a pirate ship, it was time for Sybil to perform what would be the greatest contract in the history of the Dark Brotherhood.

Disguised as a master chef, she poisoned the Emperor, and killed every other attendant of the royal dinner.

But it turned out to be a well-set trap, the Emperor was in fact a decoy, and now Penitus Oculatus was after Sybil's head.

She escaped on Shadowmere's back, stopped along the way to change her clothes, and hurried to the sanctuary to aid her dark brothers and sisters against Penitus Oculatus.

She came on time and saved them all...

...all except Astrid, who was in fact responsible for luring Sybil into the trap.

Now officially in charge of the Dark Brotherhood, it was time for the Listener to fulfill the contract and assassinate the real Emperor!

---

In vanilla game, all DB members except Nazir and Babette get killed by Penitus Oculatus. I've experienced this scenario in Aard's game, but in Sybil's game I installed a mod that makes it possible to save them as long as you heal them and help them against the invaders.
Acadian
Nice feast. Too bad it disagreed with the attendees. Uh-oh, a trap set by someone who cares not a whit about collateral damage, I'd say.

Sybil makes a nice equestrian escape from the frying pan right into the fire inside the DB lair. She even managed to save all her killer-pals. . . except for the one who tried to kill her. tongue.gif
SubRosa
Sybil's picking the pretty nightshade...

Looks like Sybil's cooking really knocked them dead.

Uh oh, the Penis Eye is after Sybil! ohmy.gif

Snitches get stitches...
Renee
Hee, love the double Lopov when she's on Shadowmare's back. emot-ninja1.gif

That's a lovely picture of her with her DB guildmates WHOA love that hairstyle. wub.gif She got some curls now. smile.gif

That is good she was able to save some of her friends because of that mod. smile.gif

SubRosa: Yes, Haaf-Mersey's entire home is sort of sloppy, did you notice the upside-down dwemer plate on their dining table? laugh.gif Wait'll you see Lucia's room. Maybe I should put his entire manor into the Homes thread.

Acadian: I love when Mjoll says "I miss travelling like this..." while she's travelling like this.

Oops. Thought I had some pictures loaded into imgur. Not quite yet.

Lopov
@Acadian - you can kill the Emperor the easy way by putting poisonous jarrin root to his dish while cooking, but Sybil decided to make it more spectacular.

@SubRosa - those would be deathbells, but she always has some nightshade in her inventory, she believes it brings her good luck.

@Renee - Babette, the vampire kid, made her hair more elegant, fit for the Emperor.

---

Commander Maro was submerged deep into his thoughts, of how successfully he set a trap for the assassin of the Dark Brotherhood, and saved the real Emperor. The very same assassin, who had probably killed his son Gaius Maro. "'scuse me?" he heard a young voice behind him. And a very familiar one at that...

She lived! Sybil lived! Somehow the bloody assassin survived it all. But now Maro will end this once and for all!

At least, that's what he thought. Before succumbing to his wounds, he found content in that he's going to join his late son...

The night was young and there was much killing to do. Sybil boarded the Katariah, the Emperor's ship, and no matter if those onboard were sleeping, smithing or drinking, she killed them all.

The captain of the Katariah heard some commotion outside and as he stood up, Sybil came rushing in. It was too late to heal now.

A few minutes later, Sybil was the only one alive on the upper deck.

It was time to meet the Emperor, face to face.

The Emperor expected her, he knew that if he was chosen to be killed by the Dark Brotherhood, this was a date with the destiny, and there was no point to fight back. He turned his back to Sybil and met his fate.

Before leaving the Katariah, Sybil sat on the throne on the deck for a while and reminisced her of the past year. She came far - from an orphan to the Listener. It didn't mean anything special to her, that she had just killed the most powerful man in Tamriel, what meant to her more, was that she fulfilled her role as the Listener, that she had obeyed the only mother she ever knew - the Night Mother.
SubRosa
I love the Saruman hand print on Sybil's face!

Sybil is a killing machine.

Great Lopov shot of Sybil

Looks like its Empress Sybil now...

Yikes, the Nigh Mother looks like she could use some TLC...
Acadian
No quarter for the Katariah as all aboard saw the hand and felt the blade of Sybil. Great shots as we see the orphan grown to Listener in action.
Renee
Whoa that's damn cr33py! She shows up behind him with Black Hand® face paint! emot-ninja1.gif

Sybil did the Katariah in a much cleaner way than my ice witch did. Quieter too. Mych was loud, intentionally causing all the shipmates to rush around, and get surprised to find their own friends coming for them as Undead. indifferent.gif

Hee hee, I kept waiting for a Lopov shot! laugh.gif And there she is.

Congrads on finally finishing Dahk Brothahhood, Lopov. emot-ninja1.gif cake.gif
Lopov
@SubRosa - I don't think the Night Mother would have any use of Toyota Land Cruiser. wink.gif

@Acadian - Sybil finally found the family she was longing for.

@Renee - I finished the DB before, with Aard, but with Sybil it was way more interesting. She and Mycharonna together would be a great team as long as they could bear with each other.

ghastley
So did she do as the Emperor wished, and give him revenge? I did the DB quest-line twice, and one of the characters did, and the other didn't.

Same here. Aard was the one who fulfilled the Emperor's wish, he also killed Motierre because he couldn't stand him, while Sybil didn't care much for the Emperor's last wish.
SubRosa
As ever, Blackreach is hauntingly lovely.

Nice atmospheric shots, especially the cold woods. I expect to see a wendigo around every corner.

I've had some success getting action shots in Lord Haaf-Mersey's game! Since my screenshot device runs 2 or 3 seconds slower than the game, I just have to be ready to spam its screenshot button when a Kill Cam moment begins.
