Looks like Blood Raven received a warm welcome to Skyland. tongue.gif

Gosh, what a spectacular job you did with her face - she looks incredible.

That tutorial brings back some memories for sure.
Acadian
Blood Moon is a spectacular shot and so appropriate for Blood Raven. Beautifully haunting sky and love the swans. Red Sky and Arcane power are rather similar also great shots.

Not just another pretty face – Yikes! ohmy.gif

Meridia. . . I liked her in Oblivion, found her annoying in Skyrim and like the job they did with her in ESO.
SubRosa
Acadian: Meridia is pretty pushy in Skyrim. She sounds like her name is Karen and she just found the manager. Nevermind how weird it is that Blood Raven is undead and a vampire herself (though not the Skyrim kind of vamp), and yet Meridia is sending her forth to smite the undead. Using Dawnbreaker as an undead character is really weird. The Turn effect sets you on fire after it explodes. It does not do much damage, but it got annoying pretty fast.

I see Blood Raven eyeing that bunny. I hope she leaves the reanimating of bunnies to her sister in blood, Serana! wink.gif
SubRosa
Acadian: Blood Raven does indeed leave all the reanimating to others. It is not her style. She is much more of a get it done yourself kind of person. So bunnies are all safe around her.

Blood Raven seems as comfy with ice as she is using fire.

Two vs One with dragons?!? Yikes.

Some great action shots vs that dragon.
Renee
Really love the armor she's got on. viking.gif Mortis looks especially DARK and dangerous. indifferent.gif Brr...

Is Branwyn using the Crow House you built? emot-ninja1.gif I have that in my gameworld, but nobody lives in there yet. Maybe Laprima will do so some day.

But back to the armor. All of these armor sets in Skyrim look so detailed, like the lead figures we used to paing and use when we table-gamed way back. Wicked awesome.

Edit: Looks like I have some catching up to do! Had no idea you've been posting Skrim pics ...
Acadian
Time for Blood Raven to head back to Detroit.

Wow. I like them all but really like this one. Going in for the close up is always good. Also Lots of action shots in these.

What are you using for their armor sets? And also you've got swans in your game. Where from? I'm always looking for birdie mods.
SubRosa
Blood Raven's main armor is Berserk Sonia Armor. Her sword is Anduril, from a LOTR weapons mod.

The swans are also modded, I think from Farm Animals and Co Extended.
SubRosa
Your Skyland game is looking good!

SubRosa is right. Those are some beautiful scenic shots of Skyrim!

Your Skyland game is looking good!
Not using Skyland, but I did see that an AIO package was uploaded on Nexus this week. I might use that next time I update my modlist.

SubRosa is right. Those are some beautiful scenic shots of Skyrim!

Thanks! Oddly enough I haven't taken very many screenies this time around, despite my PC being level 56 already.
SubRosa
Wait, there is a mod called Skyland? I was just using that as a generic term referring to Skyrim.
Kane
Yeah, a series of high quality retextures. The MA just released and all in one version of it a couple months ago and it looks beautiful!

Spending some serious time in Skyrim! tongue.gif
SubRosa
Happy New Year!
SubRosa
Blood Raven has returned to Skyrim, this time as a Breton. I created a new house mod for her. It is one I have been fighting with for a while, but could never get to work with Hearthfires (and be kid-friendly). Well, I finally figured out why it was not working. I had not put in a LocationCenterMarker. That seemed to be the sticking point.

So now Blood Raven is residing at Raven Peak, as seen from Riverwood

It is basically the interior of Ford Dawnguard, simplified, and vastly cleaned up and made a home.
Acadian
Welcome back to Skyrim, Blood Raven! That castle is certainly more than a match for the Dawnguard castle. Very neat that it is perched up where only crows, ravens and eagles soar. Oh my, the Dawnguard reference conjured up images of Blood Raven adventuring with Serana. ohmy.gif
Renee
Whoa, the home is way up there. The view must be incredible. It IS incredible. huh.gif And this is available on Nexus? Or where?

In fact I already have one of your house mods, the one between Riverwood and Whiterun.

Ha ha, no cobwebs! laugh.gif And another thing I like is that it's kind of sparse. That's a small prob I have with some mod-added homes: sometimes there's so much stuff inside of them, especially containers. Too many containers sort of drive me nuts. I feel like I have to look in all of them (meanwhile, they'll be empty) and also organize stuff into them!!! panic.gif

Wow, so This is Heartfire-worthy too? If I return to Laprima's story I'm getting her in this place. Somehow. Eventually.

SubRosa
I am actually still working on Raven Peak, so it is not on the Nexus. I am thinking of adding some bookcases. Maybe a few more weapon racks. Just getting rid of all the cobwebs from the original Dawnguard fort took forever!
macole
Very nice retreat you have there. Just right for when you want to get away from it all.
SubRosa
Renee: I think I am done with Blood Raven's home now. I don't know if I will put it up anywhere. For now it is here on Google Drive if anyone wants to download it.

Acadian: The last time I played Blood Raven in Skyrim I did not do the main quest, or meet Serana. This time out I will probably do both.

macole: Blood Raven is a vampire. So Neo-Gothic locales are just her thing. But not evil or monstrous. For example, this is where the literary version of her lives. Which can make it difficult to find the right house for her. That is why I had to make one.

NICE action shots. I've already returned to Skyrim a couple weeks ago, just some messing around with an ingredient-gatherer I've got, but you're making me want to get into Sky more.

I think I have that bird mod. bigsmile.gif

Hey what are you using to smooth the lines out of her face?

Acadian
Great shots of Blood Raven. Skyrim has such pretty nights. Aww, giants. You'll be happy to know that Buffy routinely encounters both giants and their mammoths back in the Second Era. They can be cranky but Buffy goes out of her way to avoid hostilities with them.
macole
That's a great shot of a very angry looking mooon.
SubRosa
Renee: I use a combination of face mods, let me see where it is written down.

Acadian: Skyrim does have awesome nights. Those auroras bring a lot to the table to bring some light and vibrant color to the table.

More great pix of Blood Raven. I love her red eyes and how you use that as the base for her 'accent' colors.

Buffy tried that giant ponytail when she was playing Skyrim but she just wasn't big enough for it. It felt like a giant ponytail pushing around a tiny elf attached to the front of it. tongue.gif It looks good on Blood Raven though and she carries it well.
Renee
Nice, thanks, I appreciate the links! Got them all saved.

WOW look at that armor1

I like how her eyes and face are kind of cold. She looks like a master at her craft, too. I'd be a little afraid of Branwen if she walked by. indifferent.gif

Yikes, give that dragon some Certs!
Renee
So these are some old pics, maybe a couple years old, but I've had this folder on my gaming computer full of pics to post and I want to empty that folder.

Nice scenics with Sir Vyvoor. Brrrr! That's a chilly lookng sunrise(set?) at the end.

And some cool action shots of Claire!

Claire Voyance taking the chill out of Skyrim one villian at a time.

“Ole ole - ole ole / Ole ole - ole ole

SubRosa
Acadian: I am not really a big fan of that giant ponytail either. I use it because the other ponytail hairstyles clip through that winged helmet she is wearing. That is the one that does not. So when she takes the helmet off, I change to a different ponytail.

Renee: Blood Raven is a vampire after all. I don't like how Bethesda does vampires, so I am not playing her officially as one. But I did create a mod that gives her the vampire and undead keywords, so everyone reacts to her the way they would to a normal vampire character, remarking on her eyes looking hungry and skin being pale. Just adding the vampire keyword makes the option to feed on sleeping people come up when you click on them.

I've never liked how Beth does vampires! In Oblivion I hated how my carefully-crafted alchemy witch became a man once she turned. mad.gif At the time I did not know this was due to an oversight. And just overall, I'd prefer the vampire experience to be a lot more dramatic. Feeding should be a mess struggle, imo. NPCs struggling, fleeing, fighting back. Not a mere "activate" moment as the NPC sleeps over a bed. rolleyes.gif

One thing I loved though was in OB, when our vamp would reach stage 4, NPCs would fear them! panic.gif This is what I mean. I like that sort of drama. This also happens in Skyrim, but when I installed Dawnguard, I noticed stage 4 becomes like any other stage, meaning that NPCs never react. Only when we become a Vampire Lord do they act nutso. rolleyes.gif So ironically, I'd turn DG off in Mycharonna's game, since there were no mods on Xbox.

Ahem. Whoa! She's up on a tree-bridge!!! Almost looks like she's flying in that pic!

It's the headless horseman. I've seen that guy, but rarely.

Look at the closeup of her face. Kudos, Rosa. She looks pretty, sure, but she also looks predatory. 🪲 She looks like she's part mantis.

What's that she's speaking to in Tall One? Looks like an ent!

Her looks are consistent in that other game, as well.
Acadian
Great action shot of Blood Raven leaping into action – she can fly!

The headless horseman!

Blood Red Raven Moons is great.

Night Eyes is beautiful – character, night sky, setting – all of it. happy.gif
SubRosa
Renee: You have to be in the right place at the right time to see the headless horseman. I know it has to be at night, and I think it might be only on a certain day of the week, but I could be wrong. And he always makes the same route from I think Dragon Bridge to a cemetery in the north-central tundra. I forget the name, it is a little place with no interior. I followed him there once a long time ago.

Acadian: I made that tree-bridge pic like that so that it would look like Blood Raven was flying. Since she does fly IRL. Well, in real fictional life that is... wink.gif

January trods the fields of Skyrim once more

Skyrim Stormcrow

That wall certainly looks interesting

Renee
Welcome to the land of the ice and snow, of the midnight sun where the hot springs glow. January. ❄

She's got Breezehome. Who's that lying on the floor? IF it's Lydia, nice to see her getting comfy!

Acadian
Welcome back to Skyland, Jan. Is that Darryl the Draugr she’s fighting? It’s SkyCrow! Even Kitsune is intently studying that wall all right.
SubRosa
Renee: January has driven her ship to new shores, fought the horde, sung and cried... Valhalla she is coming...

I tried the vanilla Breezehome at first. But something went wrong, and even though she chose the child's room upgrade, it did not add the child's room. So Jan could not adopt Lucia and Sofie. So instead I created my own version Breezehome and put the kids in the master bedroom. That allowed me to put in 4 child beds, so I can adopt more orphans.

Lucia is the one laying in the floor. The fox is her pet. Sofie is standing next to them.

Acadian: I hope that is not Darryl fighting Jan. I would think he had more class than to partake in such a villainous act. It might be his other brother Darryl. We don't talk about him...

Sitting around the family fire in the Great House we sing the song of January as she battles a flock of frenzied Script Pages.

Some nice armor that Jan has acquired.
Acadian
Walking across the Sea of Ghosts – Brrrr!

That is an impressive-looking angry dragon!

Nice to see Jan taking care of some of Darryl’s recalcitrant family.

Lightning strike is a beautiful shot.

Jan is rich reminds me of the hobbit pilfering the dragon’s lair in one of the hobbit movies.

Stahlrim armor I’m guessing?

A Stormwolf for the Stormcrow!

Clever caption for those mischievous pages.
SubRosa
macole: I liked how they portrayed Mora's realm of books and pages and Lovecraftian nightmares. It gives new meaning to the term "paperchase"

That was a bizarre version of the Immigrant Song. blink.gif

I have never had a character use the Stalhrim armor for long. So it was a nice change for January to adopt it as her official snow suit.

Acadian: The walking parts are much better than swimming in the Sea of Ghosts. I really wish they could have put in boats like Assassin's Creed Odyssey had. There were little one-person skiffs all over the place that you could just hop on and go sailing anywhere not too far away.

Lightning Strike came out perfectly. I think that was actually a Dragon Priest shooting lightning at her!

A while back I created a Shadow Wolf summon for Blood Raven. It is just the basic wolf, but with the black light effect that the Death Hounds have. I experimented with the various elemental summonings I created years back, but none of them fit January. So I went back to that Shadow Wolf, and made a new version with the Lightning Cloak effect on it, and called it the Storm Wolf. It is perfect.

January is in the big chair

Top of the World Ma!

I also created Avery/Gadget

I gave him the Dwarven set as it looks the most like powered armor. The Dwarven Spider is his summoning.

The RL inspiration for Avery is Shameik Moore

I also created Ryo/Okami

The RL inspiration for him is Alex Mallari

"If I just ignore her, maybe she will go away and leave me alone."

Archered Up. Now I am thinking he might start using a magic or high tech bow in the Crowverse as well

Foxy

I don't know how much if at all I will play Ryo or Avery. I just got inspired to see what they would look like in Skyland. I have played January through the main quest and explored all of Solstheim. I was thinking of doing the Dawnguard quest line with her next. But she is level 50 now, and the game is starting to become too easy. So I might be done with her.
TheCheshireKhajiit
Those are some pretty boys!

I need to get a screenie of Brenna. I’m quite pleased with her aesthetic.
Renee
Ryo and Avery in the game are dead-ringers for their real-life inspirations, goodness. embarrased.gif

Really like that one of Jan on top of that mountain.

Yeah Khajiit, let's see some of Brenna.
Acadian
Big chair is no exaggeration. Looks very uncomfy too.

Buffed up with the elements – very January.

Gadget + dwemer constructs and trinkets is such a natural fit.

Nice job creating both Gadget and Okami. Okami rather looks a bit like Yoshimo.

And sure enough, Ryo is awkward around gurlz – and everyone else.

Ryo and Foxy have a beautiful night sky overhead.
