Oh no, not Loviatar.....

I am frightened already.

Snacks not withstanding. laugh.gif

Loved the first pic. Neat armor, hair and face mask. Truly frightening. indifferent.gif

Acadian
Uh oh. Skyrim’s in trouble now! Welcome to Loviatar – her outfit looks great.

Love the idea of dwarven construct summons!

‘A light snack’ - Forsworn! They’re not just for breakfast anymore! I see Lovie’s right hand is starting with the good bits.

I bet it is kind of fun to do that (normally yucky) people-eating quest that would not interest most characters.
Kane
What happened to Lovitar?!?! Is there a story behind her?
Lopov
QUOTE(Cain @ Nov 22 2016, 02:11 PM) *

Is there a story behind her?

There's one ahead of her. evillol.gif
Renee
Cripes, Loviatar/Skyrim is positively frightenting. I mean frigntining. Can't even type. Which one is more frightening, Lovi or Persephone? I'd say Lovi for sure. Pers is sorta like an undead goddess come to Nirn.
SubRosa
Winter Wolf: Loviatar doesn't have nightmares, she inspired them! evillol.gif

A girl's got to eat... biggrin.gif

Acadian: I wonder how many people Loviatar can eat, and still keep her Very Good Karma! Oh wait, Skyrim doesn't have that.

The Dwarven Spider makes a good summon - like the boars and wolves in Oblivion - it is low enough to the ground to make it easy to shoot over its head at the enemies it is blocking.

That was a my very first time doing the Namira quest. I suspect Loviatar will give me the opportunity to try many new things in Skyland.

Cain: Loviatar is a character I first played in Fallout 3, where she nuked Megaton and lived beside the ruins. I moved her to Fallout New Vegas afterward, where she ate half the wasteland. I still was able to keep a Very Good karma in spite of cannibalizing hundreds in both games! She is here in the Fallout Character topic. She is the personification of corruption. It is literally what she feeds upon. It makes her a perversely fun character to play. Now she is in Skyirm, and I can do a lot of things my other characters - even the undead ones - have too many morals to do.

Lopov: Time to write that story in blood. Assuming Loviatar doesn't drink it all! devilsmile.gif

Renee: I miss her old gas mask from the FO3 Colossus Armor mod. But The Mask of Blades really works well with Grace Darklings Hoods with Hair. Lovi is more frightening to me. Persephone is a stone cold killer. She killed half the Thieves Guild the first time she walked into Riften because Maul got mouthy. But she won't harm anyone who does not cross her first. Loviatar OTOH, sees everyone as a potential meal...

Ugh, mutton. Some people have no taste...

Winter Wolf
I do really love that armor, hair and mask. She looks even more frightening than Fallout. Awesome look!

Was that tea with M'aiq? Or am I seeing things?

Loved the pic through the cell bars. Great action shot loaded with tension.

She has set up shop in Markarth. That is a worry!

A pic without the mask. Wow! The look in her eyes suggests too much serum use....

And a Buffy pic! laugh.gif

Awesome bedroom. The trouble with Markarth is all that running water. How does Loviatar sleep with all that bloody noise? laugh.gif

QUOTE
What happened to Lovitar?!?! Is there a story behind her?

I have lived in fear for 12 months while wondering if she will appear in FO4. She will certainly have fun with the ghoul body parts that are ready and detachable, and the wild and crazy factions that appear in the Commonwealth.

QUOTE
Which one is more frightening, Lovi or Persephone?

Persephone is cool- in a gothy, girl, undead way. Lol. Loviatar is just harrowing and hellacious.

It is a real worry that SubRosa says that her undead characters have more morals than Loviatar. ph34r.gif
Acadian
Karma, heck; I wonder how many people she can eat and still maintain her girlish figure. tongue.gif

How funny about the troll under the bridge! I guess every game’s gotta have one.

Nice effects on her mask in ‘light of poison’.

Melka is probably safe. Too boney.

Bottoms up. I must confess the shot was not what I hoped for. wink.gif

Lovie’s new house looks fabulicious. goodjob.gif
Winter Wolf
Acadian- I still remember that member at Beth forums called Solofront. His whole playthrough in Oblivion was camping naked under bridges and stabbing people who passed by with a knife. Lol. And I thought that trolls were dangerous.

Ysgramor playing basball

Snow in Whiterun

Punched into Oblivion

Oh no- Loviatar has been here.

And Rattler has been here...

Acadian
Batter up!

Snow in Whiterun?!? Yikes!

Heh, Sofia (mod-added follower) comes up with some doozies. laugh.gif
SubRosa
Sofie must have quite the right hook!

Rattler needs to stop making such a mess... He is wasting all that good blood! evillol.gif
Lopov
Ysgramor the designated hitter!

Are you using the mod which covers entire Skyrim with snow?

The skeleton pic is already perfectly captioned.

Loviatar picked those skulls clean.

Yep, Rattler definitely paid a visit to that house. Heh, maybe I should create Skyttler after all, I think Renee will love the idea. laugh.gif

QUOTE
where she ate half the wasteland. I still was able to keep a Very Good karma

That's because she didn't steal all books from Nelson. By doing this you instantly become a Demon Spawn of the Wastes, Scourge of the Mojave, the Devil Incarnate. So eat people as you like but NEVER steal books! evillol.gif

SubRosa
Winter Wolf: The mask was a great find. The modder who created it did a fantastic job!

That is tea with Maiq. Unfortunately he would not drink any of Loviatar's special evillol.gif brews.

Markarth is the perfect place for Loviatar. It is a den of corruption and deceit.

Acadian: Loviatar peels of those pounds with her Doom Metal Yoga routines!

I was wondering if the troll would have a suicide note like the sad troll in Oblivion. But no such luck. Still, somebody from the development team put in a nice easter egg for use ES alumni!

You are right, Melka was too bony! Turns out the cannibalism perk won't let Lovie eat Hagravens. sad.gif

Lopov: I don't think there would be any NPCs left with both Loviatar and The Rattler in Skyrim! laugh.gif

Loviatar by moonlight

Apology accepted, Captain Needa...
Renee
SubRosa: Wow, that second shot of Lovi creeping up on those two guys....they really look caught off-guard. And she really looks frightening.

That first shot (of Lovi & the auroras) reminds me of all those Mycharonna pics I used to take! I will post one of hers below, now that I think of it.

WHOA is that her without her robes? blink.gif And the red hair?

Wolf: I love the Snow in Whiterun picture, that could be a postcard. And indeed, other peoples' t00ns have been in your game. I think I'd rather get Loviatar than Rattler though. indifferent.gif

Nassqa want say story

Nassqa no have luck find ore, mans not know. Mans want steal Nassqa ores

Nassqa stand rock. Make fly arrow

Man no like Nassqa make fly arrow. Man face, make hurt.

biggrin.gif

And here's An old Mycharonna classic
Acadian
SubRosa -

Great shots as Iron Chef Skyrim eats her way across the province - one body at a time. So far, I quite approve of her victims. I hope she doesn't start eating Motormouth, Sausage-maiden or Bre of the Bad Hair. That would make for a sad paladin. tongue.gif

Oh, and if hags are too boney, there's hope that wood elves are too small to bother with. biggrin.gif

Renee –

Hey, a Lopov shot of Nascar!

Ouch! And I thought an arrow to the knee could be a career ender. Nothing compared to an arrow to the face. Don’t mess with the man’s metal!

Lopov
I knew exactly which Mycharonna pic you're going to post. A classic indeed.

Nassqua looks so kind in the first pic. smile.gif

Poor Nassqua. If DB assassins aren't catching him, then bandits want his ore.

Arrow in da face! laugh.gif The bandit definitely wished to be hit in a knee!
SubRosa
Naasqua definitely made that guys face hurt! biggrin.gif
Winter Wolf
Acadian- I see that you are already acquainted with Sofia! She is the best, isn't she!

SubRosa- Wow! Loviatar looks really nice in those prison rags. Who would have thought that was possible?

Still, back in her armor and mask and with a tasty morsel between her lips does look more 'correct.' Although I am not sure that the Reach will be a safer place for the npcs...

Loved the last pic. Striding away with purpose. And a full tummy.

Renee- Nassaq looks like Tim Duncan in that first pic! laugh.gif

I love your action pics. Being chased is a fantastic shot with tension and fear. Epic! And an arrow to the face, damn that must have hurt, if only for a second. But where was the Rattler Gore™ in that pic? biggrin.gif

Lopov- Thanks! I am using True Storms as it doesn't change any of the SE clear weather conditions, only the snow, rain, fog etc. The benefit is that the game still feels like the new SE version. Other weather mods I have tried completely change things up. True Storms gives a small chance of snow as far south as Whiterun and that pic I took was the first time in 80 hours of game play that I had seen snow there. It doesn't snow at Riften though.

And yes- please bring our lovable Mr Rattler over to Skyrim!! Pretty please!

Now that is what I call a treehouse

Mr Bear in a reflective mood

Bandit vs the Jedi Master

You Rang?

Quests, quests, everwhere quests

Wild horses mod

Buffy- is that you?
SubRosa
That treehouse looks a tad precarious!

It looks like Mr. Bear has a girl growing out of his back! laugh.gif

Skeletal Sidious is striking down the bandit!

It looks like Buffy has really let herself go! ohmy.gif

Acadian
Wow, that is quite the treehouse all right!

Love the bear helm.

Magic skellies!

Oh, I love the elk close up.

Aww wild horses and their young.

Buffy? Let’s see: Blond hair – check. Blue eyes – check. Scrawny – check. Bow – check. Small upturned nose – check. Oh wait . . . tall with small ears – whew! laugh.gif
Lopov
A treehouse looks great as long as you don't fall down from up there.

Mr Bear isn't someone to be messed with.

You rang? laugh.gif biggrin.gif bigsmile.gif

What a view from Whiterun!

Buffy has seen better days. laugh.gif

For all of us who post screenshots I’d like to urge that we try to favor links vs embedded images when those images are big (and the bigger the better when it comes to game screenshots). A number of folks here have problems with larger embedded images resizing their display so the image overfills their screen. Large images also seem to sometimes confuse features like ‘go to last unread post’ causing the display to bounce around for a moment trying to sort and find its place.

I suspect that is why quite a few forums do not allow directly embedding images. Being a small and intimate forum, I’d like to retain the flexibility to do so – just asking for help from posters as you decide whether to embed or link.

Some exceptions: Small images like we often see on the Everything Thread seem to cause few problems. Folks who have their own screenshot thread (like Victoria, SubRosa, Phon) have more latitude to present their artistry however they like since it is ‘their’ thread.

smile.gif

haute ecole rider
Thanks for the gentle reminder, Acadian, about embedded images.

I love looking at these glorious screenies. That said, I prefer to look at them in full screen mode, outside this forum. It keeps the text neatly confined to the (rather wide) margins of my screen and saves me having to scroll in four directions just to read the posts.

If I may add to Acadian's post, a rule of thumb I use when deciding on embedding vs. links - if the image is best seen full screen, I link to it. If in full resolution it fills less than half my screen real estate, I consider embedding it.

Keep those wonderful screenies coming, though! I love those moments when I think to myself "Where in Skyrim is that view??"
Grits
SubRosa, Loviatar's lair is in a convenient spot, right by the meat market. She is so very scary. I love the green poison spells and fumes. She should share her nightshade tea with some Argonians! Next set, so much corruption to eat in Markarth! Moonlight manages to be lovely as well as sinister. Captain Needa is my favorite, that must have been satisfying. Loviatar looks fabulous in her cloak.

Winter Wolf, I love the snowy Whiterun shot. Well-timed comment from Sofia! For a minute I didn't know what I was looking at in the Ratter shot. I thought maybe the corpse was dismembered. That is a lot of blood! Next set, what a fortress! What is that? Oh my gosh, I spit tea when the deer picture loaded. That's awesome. Love the wild horses! Lol, and they say you can never be too thin. Is that a gang of armed children behind the blonde? ohmy.gif

Renee, I like Nassqa's face. Poor guy just has a pickaxe and a dream of ore, and those guys won't leave him alone. Nice dental adjustment! I'm glad he got such a great shot, he looks pretty ticked off in the running picture. Yikes, that Mycharonna picture is indeed a creepy classic. *shiver*

Cain, great misty picture of Jerric's favorite Standing Stone! The moss even looks soft. It's wider than my screen, so now the whole thread is wider than my screen. Can you post a smaller one or use a link?
Renee

Yes, Nassqa's face is supposed to be Akaviri. It's from some mod I found which oddly, is no longer up at Nexus, last time I checked. His entire roleplay is laid-back and very simple. smile.gif If I added quests to his game it would actually ruin things.

Another vote for the "links only" in this thread. Links, or thumbnails.

Sorry, triple post. Just trying to get this page moved on. I'll post pics whenever it turns over.

Some pics of my spellsword Forrah:

Captured by bandits

Custom start: Live Another Life - Death Alternative (captured by bandits scenario)

Unbound

To rescue, one has to play a minigame. I won't reveal it in details but it's a well-integrated feature.

Left for dead

Another feature of LaL - in case your character 'dies', it is regarded as being knocked unconscious. In Forrah's case she was beaten by bandits and thrown out of the cave, because they thought they had killed her.

How very wrong they were...

Avenger in loincloth

End of the Butcher

Heavy armored spellsword

Shrine of Azura
SubRosa
Uh oh, captured by bandits!

Forrah is free, and spitting fire!

Oh, it was Cragslane Cavern. Good thing they did not feed her to the pit wolves!

Is that Black Widow in loincloth? Or Scarlet Witch? smile.gif

Neat to see the Shrine so far off in the distance.
Acadian
This set of screens compliments Forrah's opening story in the other thread very well.

Free and spitting fire!

She looks great. goodjob.gif

Cool that you can see Azura's Shrine so far away.
Lopov
@SubRosa - if it wasn't for the Butcher in the same room, Forrah would manage to kill two bandits next to her just with fire. But the Butcher was very tough, even when she returned to the cave, he almost got her again.

@Acadian - I avoided looking at the map so seeing Azura's Shrine in the distance helped me to determine Forrah's location. I'm not that familiar with Skyrim so when she came out of the cave, I didn't know exactly where she is.

Taking it to those black-robes with shock and ice!

And killing Druglords!

Oooh, pretty sword. How is Forrah liking the blade in one hand, spell in the other style?

Heh, the last shot is a trademark Lopov shot – and really showcases the pretty but deadly Forrah. goodjob.gif
SubRosa
Forrah is cold as ice.

Electrifying!

Wow, that is some jump!

Cool, the Ghostblade! It's effect is not very impressive, but it looks cool. I modded it so it does more damage.

Lopov
@Acadian - we like the spellsword fighting style very much. It was difficult at first, but now we already got better at it. When she lacked more powerful spells, Forrah cast first Oakflesh and then switched either to Sparks or Healing, depending on the present company. When she got some more powerful spells and more magicka, she usually cast first Muffle (if necessary), then Stoneflesh followed by Lightning Bolt or Fast Healing. It's fun.

@SubRosa - the Ghostblade isn't combat impressive indeed but it looks great. Forrah later switched to other, more powerful weapons but she still keeps the Ghostblade. Once she finds a place to call home, the Ghostblade will get its place there too.

Falmer Hardened Armor

Acadian
Snowy beast is a great action shot showing Forrah doing what she does best.

You did a great job in char gen with her I think. While she’s certainly attractive you’ve managed to impart a strong, tough no-nonsense rather rugged look to her that quite suits her style and profession. goodjob.gif
SubRosa
Bad Kitty!

Great profile pic of Forrah, with the cave mouth behind her.

Better put those Snow Elves on ice...

The hardened armor looks good on F

Definitely a Lopov shot! smile.gif
Winter Wolf
Sweet! A snow cat indoor in a cave. I do not think I have seen that very often.

Or have I been drinking too much Skooma and not paying attention. laugh.gif

Thanks for the awesome 'Falmer Hardened Armor' pic. I love it so much I am now using it as my desktop pic. goodjob.gif

Renee
Whoa holy [censored] she looks so vulnerable in those opening pics. My gosh.

Indeed, I agree with others--these sets of pics would be nothing without classic Lopov shots to wrap them up! And in general, she looks just like somebody who is supposed to be a rich-man's daughter. Her face is scar-free and unhardened, unlike many women in Skyrim.

QUOTE
I avoided looking at the map so seeing Azura's Shrine in the distance helped me to determine Forrah's location

This is similar to when White Wizard began his game. I had no idea where he was and did not look at the map, but I could see College of Winterhold in the distance. Which is good because with the Frostfall mod in his game, he woulda died if he'd spent too much time out in da cold air.
Lopov
@Acadian - thanks! I wouldn't be able to achieve the desired face if not for Smooth faces for ladies and gents, which is for me the only facial mod that alters faces to my liking and has compatibility patches for neck seams.

@SubRosa - I thought that the Falmer Hardened Armor was added by Immersive Armors but a quick look on the UESP revealed that it's vanilla. It certainly looks good.

@Winter Wolf - I haven't been to that particular cave before, though we're in the spoilers section, I won't tell the exact name of the cave. What seemed like an ordinary cave at first, soon turned out to be a Falmer-infested ruin.

@Renee - she actually has three scars on her right left cheek but they're obscured by her hairstyle. You can see them by looking at Lopov's shots from very close.

Walking away. Forrah really is an attractive character. smile.gif
SubRosa
Falmer Hardened Armor was added by Dawnguard. Same with the Chaurus Hunter.

Ewwww, no spiders. I modded them out of my game.

Kind of hard to see in that helmet! It's worse than Stormtrooper Armor. laugh.gif

I see Mercutio is putting the moves on Forrah!

That view is a bestseller to me! biggrin.gif
Winter Wolf
Spiders in Skyrim- Cigarettes in Fallout. SubRosa is having trouble with Beth games!

Those Falmer helmets are the blast shield helmets of Skyrim. Perhaps the force guides them to find the enemy. With years underground it might be their only hope. laugh.gif

Reading a book like that will pose problems in Skyrim. Either the cold will get you or drunk Nord males will.

The Bee and Barb certainly has a lot going on. Most times I cannot even hear my conversation. kvleft.gif

QUOTE
though we're in the spoilers section, I won't tell the exact name of the cave.

Boo! Hiss! biggrin.gif

Lopov
@Acadian - she got tired of Marcurio very quickly. laugh.gif But maybe one day she'll hire him to see whether he's really that good as he claims to be.

@SubRosa - I'm glad that Hardened Armor was added by DG, but I'm a little less glad about Chaurus hunters.

@Winter Wolf - I use a mod to make conversations less frequent, it's called Less talkative NPCs. I also use a mod that doesn't make everyone automatically tell you their life stories as they pass you, instead you have to almost bump into them to initiate a conversation. Without these two mods I'd have difficulties being inside cities and even more inside inns.

I missed your earlier comment about your new background pic - thanks, I'm honored! See how little it takes for me to reveal the name of the cave, it's in a spoiler below. bigsmile.gif

Looks like the Uttering Hills did not have a lot to say. Except perhaps the death rattles of the bandit's lairing there!

Last Laugh of the Flying Skeleton sounds like a great name for an inn! What a fantastic shot!

The scars make Forrah more attractive I think.

Winterhold is living up to its name.

Fort Kastav now has a breathing garrison.

Acadian
Forrah's leaving quite the wake of bandits behind her. Brrrr - Winterhold! Good thing she's learned how to read with her bare bits covered. biggrin.gif Winterhold really does capture the chill of Skyrim and I love the story of how the College became so precariously perched. On a sunny day, you can see the beautiful Lady Azura.
Winter Wolf
Beautiful pics of Winterhold there. 'Sunny day in Winterhold' is a shot I never see playing on Xbox so I really appreciate that camera angle. It is just a shame half the town disappeared and is only just larger than an outside dunny!

Loved the flying skeleton. That Nord bow framed against the vista looks incredible. smile.gif

Good thing Forrah sent that magical letter. Couriers would never get through the blizzard.

A Lopov character reading while fully clothed. Now I have seen everything. laugh.gif Must be boring for the mages/innkeepers with nothing to look at. No wonder they turn to drink. laugh.gif

Thanks for the spoiler name! I have not been to that place yet. Hating Skyrim for so many years means I have missed out on half the game. I see I have more exploring to do.
Lopov
@SubRosa - lol @ breathing garrison. laugh.gif Mages at Fort Kastav that are located outside were very tough to bring down, at one point Forrah even thought of escaping from the fort. Obviously she changed her mind.

@Acadian - in my game sunny days in Winterhold are extremely rare so I made sure to quickly take a screenie before weather worsened. Which it did. bigsmile.gif And even if weather in Winterhold is sunny at first, it changes to heavy snowstorm as soon as the College is entered. I don't use any weather mods, though.

@Winter Wolf - while I didn't hate Skyrim, I also have lots of places to explore because I never played the game as extensively than Oblivion or any Fallout. I was also for the first time in that cave with the snowy sabre cat. I wish Winterhold was larger too. Kinda doesn't make sense to have a Jarl to watch over three houses, his own one included.
