Largashbur is just bristling with sharp and pointy defenses.

It is cool to see the Shivering Isles in Skyrim. Maybe I should look into some of the Creation Club content, that brings back places like this and the Deadlands.

Ooh, complimentary forks! laugh.gif

Dylora is hot.
Kane
Shivering Isles is actually from the Skyrim Extended Cut: Saints and Seducers mod. You need the Creation as a requirement but it's an improvement in every way. The orignal Creation is really basic and barely voiced. The extended mod even got Wes Johnson back to play Sheo!

I vaguely remember some details of Skyrim from long ago. If that Yamarz quest is the one I'm thinking of, it was indeed fun to see that blustering fool get his due. Especially after trying to talk a tiny wood elf into killing that giant for him. laugh.gif

Exactly!

Ironically, the best way to kill that giant is with a bow, from up on the rocks where he can't reach. Buffy would have an easier time than Yamarz, who foolishly brought an axe.

Fun fact. The quest starts with a giant attacking the Orcs at Largashbur. Some of the Orcs are essential, and if the giant whacks them, they can fly a long way, but survive. I've had to track Atub down in the hills above Darklight Tower, where she was looking for a way back down.

Solstheim, from a long distance away...

I've been adventuring with a mod follower called Remiel (fantastic follower, BTW) and to my surprise, she got arrested with me during the Forsworn Conspiracy quest!

Nice first shot - love the lantern in the foreground with its sparklebeams.

Neat to hear that you got a good companion!

She is a gem, absolutely a favorite of mine. I've been playtesting a bunch with my current load order and she is at the top of the list, along with Auri.
Kane
Took a break for a bit and played Stardew Valley while I tweaked my load order. Now back in Skyrim with Helia, a greatsword toting, heavy armor build (first in a looooong time).
Acadian
Welcome and happy hunting to Helia!

Visiting Whiterun (and the Missives board)

Puny Imperials

Tundra

The Guardian Stones, and a 'lil sapling*

The motley crew: M'rissi, Gore, and Remiel**

Lost in Falkreath

Culling the herd***

Pretty rainbow

* Traverse the Ulvenwald is by far my favorite tree mod
** M'rissi and Gore are both new to me and I just picked up the former. No idea where her story is going
*** Pre-M'rissi, had Jenassa with us instead
Acadian
Nice to see the companion options have expanded. Back in the day, Buffy got along with Jenassa pretty well.
Kane
A lot of the best mod companions banter with one another too, thanks to authors collaborating. Gore and Remiel behave like siblings so far, and tease each other sometimes. On my last character (Cain), I had Remiel, Auri, and Serana (from the dialogue add on mod) and all three would converse with each other frequently.

Auri and Serana sharing notes about their dietary habits was particularly amusing. laugh.gif
Renee
I've got Message Boards in my Skyrim too, although they're located in a different section of Whiterun.

That 'tiny Imperial' lady is really a fox. wub.gif

Motley Crue ... which guy or gal is yours to navigate the game with?

Falkreath pic looks amazing. Looks like a photograph, just about!

CRIPES you got a rainbow!!! How come rainbow mods never work in any of my games!??? laugh.gif Cyrodiil, the Capital Wasteland, and now Skyrim, all three have additions for rainbows. 🌈 Yet I have yet to see one!

(Meteors show up at night, at least...)

For that quest board, I'm using Missives. I used to have The Notice Board, but Missives is more expansive.

I think Camila was overhauled by Bijin Wives. Helia towers over them because Lore-Corrected Races shortens Imperials. And because her boots have a wedge heel.

All three are followers, I took the pic in first person. My PC is Helia

Rainbows appear a good bit with Wonders of Weather!

I see you have M'rissi. She is a very good companion with an interesting story. I think you'll like M'rissi.
Another favorite with an interesting story is Auri from Song of the Green.

One thing I liked about M'rissi and Auri is that they didn't annoy me by calling me Dragonborn all the time. In that vein Tania the Hermit was probably my most liked companion. She spoke either Korean or Japanese. I played with subtitles turned off, so I didn't understand a word she said. Was she praising or insulting, don't know. That's what made her so fun
Kane
I love Auri, but I opted to not have her installed for this game. Sorta regret it already.
Acadian
She with the living hair looks great, as do your icy scenic landscapes. Bridges are handy when the water is too darn cold to swim in! And just exactly what was Helia doing last night at the Bee and Barb to require a bath this morning? tongue.gif
Kane
Hair with physics was such a game changer for me. I can't go back to the static hairs now and removed most of the mods that have them.

She got a little too rowdy with Gore, Remy, and M'Rissi the night before! Headcanon is that she bought a horse and fell off of it. laugh.gif
Acadian
Nice sword and armor!

Just gotta find some place to wash her face and go to bed. tongue.gif

Frostspire Canyon

Helia, Paladin of Akatosh!
Renee
Frostspire Canyon is really pretty (and COLD)! You're really good with landscapes, Kane. I dunno. It's easy to take a shot of the land, but will this shot be wallpaper-worthy? Yours are often wallpaper-worthy.

Wow, love your paladin.
Kane
Thanks! I do have a lot of texture mods, but I still like to keep the spirit of vanilla Skyrim when I can. I see so many other videos and pictures on reddit and it doesn't even look like the same game anymore.

Her paladin armor is a bit different than other mods I've used. The boots are part of the cuirass! I had to get creative with enchanting to get all of the effects I wanted to use.
