@Renee - her latest black outfit is added by Immersive Armors, it's called Apotheus Armor. It can be found on high-leveled boss enemies.

@Acadian - cold versus glass = glass wins. I use a mod that makes glass weapons and more more bright, similar as it is in Morrowind. The effect isn't so noticeable with weapons but with armors it's a big difference.

@SubRosa - if Sybil ever drops her daggers, it'll be on the day she dies.

What a fine wedding

What a pretty soldier *

Time to strike

Groom has been hit!

Frenzied, the groom turn on his bride

But someone brings the bride back to life

More powerful in undeath than in life

Killed again by her future father-in-law

Captain Aldis finds the one behind the chaos

"Catch me if you can."

* Sybil used a golden-like warpaint to make her skin look like that of a Wood Elf. The rest of her body was covered with Elven armor, so nobody couldn't notice the skin contrast.
Renee
Nice!!! Looks like there won't be any bouquet of flowers tossed at THIS wedding from the bride. indifferent.gif

Every facial expression is so perfect in this sequence! She really looks creepy once she's brought back. indifferent.gif

Oh so she DID get caught! Yikes! Run run run!!! panic.gif

SubRosa
Now I have Billy Idol's White Wedding playing in my head.

So Sybil was the Thalmor soldier! I was thinking she might be, but the golden skin threw me off.

Wow, that is purely diabolical! devilsmile.gif

Run for it Sybil!
Lopov
For the time being there's been enough bloodshed, at least when it comes to innocents. Instead let's join Souissi in High Rock...

What a welcome!

High Rock looks just like The Reach

Talsgar is back!

Looks like they have dragons in High Rock too.

Souissi is going Punk Rock in High Rock!
Lopov
High Rock in the mod is in fact Western Reach / Eastern High Rock, hence the similarities. But what I've seen from some screenies, the region's appearance varies, not entire region looks like the Reach from Skyrim.

Souissi and Talsgar are now on friendly terms, although she robbed him in her early days.

That's not a dragon but I don't yet know what it is. Renee thinks it's a griffin and I agree, because according to the TES lore, they're supposed to inhabit High Rock.
Renee
QUOTE(Lopov @ Nov 30 2018, 10:16 AM) *

Renee thinks it's a griffin

Gryphon, hon. wink.gif *examples*

Lovely face paint. Certainly can't get that done at Hot Topic. Interesting that she's got much more of a shoulder pad on her right side than her left. What is that black creature behind her in the Necromancer pic?

Lopov
Doesn't it mean the same? I found these three words to be synonyms on the translator site I use - griffin, griffon, or gryphon.

Later she added a minor yellow warpaint under her left eye and some warpaint over her body. You'll see it in a next batch of screenies.

That undead is called Animated Corpse, it used to be a resident of Sabbat before the necromancer killed them and then reanimated them as walking dead. They were weak, slightly more powerful than base Draugr.
Renee
Yeah you're right, they can also be called griffins. That is new for me, I remember them being spelled gryphon, but you know. I forget stuff over the years.
Renee
A day in the life of Sir Davor Vyvoor. pertaining to the Battle for Fort Sungard.

SubRosa
I found a quote from Sir V

He should know better than to take advice from slick-talking Khajiit!

Down with the Empire! For Jedha! For Alderaan!

That is a fantastic action pic of the sword in the viewer's face.

Victory for the Rebel Alliance!
Lopov
Sir Vyvoor keeps a busy schedule.

After a day full of battling drinking is more appropriate than eating bread, that's for sure.

Are those Seeker arrows added by Immersive weapons?
Acadian
It's great fun to watch the adventures of Sir Vyvoor and Souissi. Looks like Souissi's discovered a whole new land!
RaderOfTheLostArk
Whoa, is that the Beyond Skyrim: High Rock mod, Lopov? If so, I didn't know any of the Beyond Skyrim stuff was completed (save for Bruma).
Lopov
Thanks Acadian! Yes, Souissi is exploring dangerous and malevolent eastern High Rock.

RaderOfTheLostArk - At first I also thought that it's a part of the Beyond Skyrim project, but this mod is in fact not a part of it, but its own separate mod. It's called Beyond Reach and takes place in eastern High Rock, called Kingdom of Evermore. According to the mod author the kingdom is the size of about three Skyrim holds. The author occasionally still updates the mod. During the main questline there are some quests that can get bugged and you require console commands to get past glitched events / scenes, so far I experienced one such issue.
Lopov
"Don't touch my leg!"

Shrine to Akatosh

Rainy night in Forlorn

People of Arnima were torturing an Orc captive. The woman was close to death, so Souissi performed a mercy kill.

New day, new warpaint

Hag's end

Souissi and the beast
SubRosa
That guy is just trying to get a leg up in the world.

Akatosh looks completely outclassed at his own shrine.

Forlorn does not sound like the greatest name for a town. But then maybe it is like Iceland, and they call it that to keep other people away.

What nice people there are in Arnima. Be a shame if someone were to kill them all...

That beast has his eye on Souissi...
Renee
Souissi changes warpaint like Buffy changes clothes! laugh.gif

What is that .... thing she is fighting at the very end. High Rock looks even darker than Skyrim. How many times have you seen the sun? huh.gif not many, eh?

Lopov
@SubRosa - many little villages like Forlorn suffered when flooding devastated High Rock. That's why many roads are still partly submerged and people had to make new bridges, most of the time wooden, to create new crossings. I think this mod excels at landscape and little stories behind it, so when you hear of flooding and bridges, you pay more attention to new bridges and also spot some that were destroyed by flooding.

@Renee - that's a golem. Strong but slow so by the time Souissi got behind it, he barely started to turn around and when he did, she was already behind his other side. She just needed to be careful not to get punched. More problematic were witchmen who were hitting her with poisoned arrows and were on ledges above, meaning she needed first to kill the golem, take a key from his corpse and unlock the pit to reach them.

It's almost never sunny in the Reach. Sometimes rays of sun make it through clouds but it doesn't happen very often and even if it does, weather soon changes for worse. Mostly it's foggy and rainy, or snowy in mountainous regions.

Souissi's new familiar - sabre cat

Fitting punishment for a ra.pist

Souissi and the missionary

Dead Rabbits Bridge

SubRosa
That looks like one of the Vale Sabre Cats.

That is one handy sabre cat!

I am surprised that the Missionary was still alive by the end of the pictures! laugh.gif
Lopov
@SubRosa - yes, it's one of vale sabre cats. They look even better than Skyrim ones IMO.

The missionary sucked at combat but he had a fantastic healing spell in his repertoire which he cast as soon as he spotted some enemy. A floating healing orb appeared and was sending rays of health both to him and Souissi. The orb lasted for quite some time, usually long after battles were over. I don't know if this spell is vanilla or mod-added.

Praying to Stendarr

The chapel of Arnima

Light in the darkness
Renee
What a creepy-looking place the Hollow is!

Mod author did a really good job with the stained glass in that chapel too. I like seeing Souissi's silhouette in that pic.
SubRosa
The portal to Oblivion looks really cool.

Praying? Isn't that Sir Vayoor's job?

That's a pretty fancy chapel as well.
Lopov
@Renee - the Hollow is sort of like Blackreach in Skyrim. Not sure if you've been there yet but places are similar except that the Hollow is much darker and more maze-like.

@SubRosa - Souissi isn't very pious, but praying to Stendarr makes her blocking more effective, so it's worth it.

Grey Belmor in fog

Welcome

Loviatar was in Arnima

Souissi and the werewolf

Tebandra

Bones of the Usurper

In Tebandra pic you can notice a difference between western and eastern Reach. While in the west weather is mostly rainy or cloudy, in the east weather is much better. Souissi asked about this phenomenon and apparently it's an effect achieved by priests of Evemore who maintain better weather in and around Evemore because King Sigmayne doesn't like sour weather all the time.
SubRosa
Love the grim reaper statue!

Same with that statue in the courtyard.

Looks like some of Loviatar's leftovers!

It is like she is tickling that werewolf with her dagger. laugh.gif

Bones of the Usurper is very green!
Renee
Ah okay. So that's why it's so gloomy there. Sheesh. You and yours must be missing the sun by now!

She took on a werewolf! ohmy.gif She knows how to do the "Jarl slouch," too. She looks good in that armor, hello. smile.gif Speaking of armor...

Souissi really looks the part of a woman of the Reach. And looks like she’s having fun exploring new lands! goodjob.gif

Sir Vyvoor’s rockin’ his new green kilt/mail set up! Lol on the broom & bow fails. tongue.gif
SubRosa
Sir V is going all celtic with his kilt

Got to watch where you put those brooms....

Looks like that fail got Sir V right in the heart! ohmy.gif

Fantastic purple auroras!

Cliffracer fly soooo hiiiiigh!

And Sir V carbing up for the energy he will need the next time! smile.gif
Renee
Lol I have mixed feelings about his kilt but he seems to like it. laugh.gif Notice though, he managed to find a green-colored shield to match his new lower decor. Ready for the runway now.
Lopov
@SubRosa - Grey Belmos was great fun to explore, the place is huge, both from outside and inside, even more from outside, because lots of interiors got ruined. When Souissi was asked to lift a curse at "the fort", I expected a standard fort but in fact Grey Belmor is probably bigger than a city.

@Renee - Sir Vyvoor likes wearing skirts! laugh.gif I have that armor in my game as well, I guess it's added by Immersive Armors. The Redguard lady should take some lessons in broom riding from Sarah Phimm. Great screenie of Whiterun in the middle of snowstorm.

@Acadian - Souissi feels good in High Rock though there's always some ominous presence hanging above her, and the entire region as well.

Golem attacks!

"Am I supposed to be impressed?"

Souissi & Rados against witchmen

Rise of the Gorgon!

Flying beast

Stuck axe

Fall of the Gorgon...

Evermore, the capital of eastern High Rock / Eastern Reach / The Kingdom of Evermore with the Adamantine Tower seen in the background.
SubRosa
That golem is weird-looking. blink.gif

The Gorgon looks like Loviatar's leftovers.

Souissi is still looking good, even after a Gorgonic battle.

Evermore makes me think of this
Lopov
@SubRosa - the Golem punched hard so Souissi focused on bringing it down, instead of looking at it. biggrin.gif

The Gorgon was surprisingly easy to bring down once it landed.

The Fantastic Four

SubRosa
Looks like Hermaeus Mora is invading.

That is a creepy sky.

That is an icky oblivion gate. It looks like it is filled with blood.

Ewww, someone drank too much at the party!

That guy has a square hat!

I am thinking that guy can be beheaded! biggrin.gif

The Last King looks like someone left him in the oven for too long...

That is a big sigil stone!
Lopov
@SubRosa - although it looks like Herma Mora was invading Arnima, it was Namira who was invading with Mortifayne's help. After all, Arnima is an anagrame of Namira, but I didn't figure it out until the priest (the guy with the square hat biggrin.gif ) mentioned it. Ironically, Mortifayne's personal chef is named Maarin, which I figured out to be Namira. Arnima used to be called Raven Spring, but when Mortifayne became the Lord, he renamed the town to Arnima.

The headless guy was already missing his head when Souissi encountered him. laugh.gif Guess you don't need a head when in Oblivion.

The Last King wanted to rule the realm with Namira's help but thanks to Souissi, their plans were crushed.

.
.
.

For her contribution to peace of the Reach, Souissi was invited to the Royal Palace of Evermore - the Griffon's Palace.

King Sigmayne, the ruler of Eastern reach, personally knighted her.

Being a knight brings not only duties and responsibility, but also respect.

And a new set of armor, which every knight must carry.

But Souissi really doesn't like the Griffin armor.

"I will gladly perform my knightly duties, but don't force me to wear that armor." King Sigmayne didn't take kindly to Souissi's demand, but in the end he agreed to make an exception for her.

The following day Souissi began her knightly duties, eliminating hostile exiles from a nearby village.
SubRosa
The palace of Evermore looks nice.

From robber to knight! I wonder what Talsgar will say the next time they meet?

I like the anglo-saxon-esque armor. But it really is not Souissi's style.
Lopov

"Oh, there once was a knight named Souissi the Bright, who once was a robber, but now is a knight." tongue.gif

I like the armor too, it even comes with enchantments, but most of them were useless to Souissi. Except gloves, which she disenchanted and instead enchanted her gauntlets to boost her Light Armor.
Renee
I like how she accepts knighthood without any change in fashion! laugh.gif Most people when they get knighted, I imagine they'll ... I don't know... dress upwards or something. Not Souissi, who's even carrying her backpack before the king! ohmy.gif

I imagined she would not wear the armor, and it looks like I am right, but the mod-author(s) certainly did a good job there.
Lopov

She didn't even put her headdress or gauntlets down. laugh.gif I agree, adding a unique armor is a nice touch, one can choose between a light or heavy variant, or ask for enchanted mage robes instead. Apparently a manor can be bought in Evermore as well, but I assume that one has to complete certain quests beforehand.
SubRosa
Cat food!

It is neat how the Adamantine tower is in the mod. Can you actually go there? Or is it just an LOD in the distance?

Sou's bound shield is pretty neat.

Sload's? Ewwwww!
Lopov
@SubRosa - the Tower is only an LOD, you can't actually reach it.

The bound shield is very useful because it also grants a 60% resistance to all magical attacks.

The Reachwoman

"Stop licking that icicle already."

Frost Giant

The Direnni ruin of Umbasir

Portal to Apocrypha

It's been a while since Souissi read a good book

Sabre Cat vs Seeker

Hermaeus Mora
SubRosa
Souissi is all Bretoned up.

The Direnni ruin looks cool.

That portal looks like a great thing to leave alone.

I don't think that is a good book Souissi is reading... ohmy.gif

Hermie Mora finally makes his appearance.
Renee
Hey it's not foggy / rainy! ... Whoa, look at that frost giant!

That Dirreni lair looks totally gloomy though. indifferent.gif I'd be afraid of the megalathon that's able to hold that book. indifferent.gif

From last session: Yikes, she's encountered a sload! I've heard about them. indifferent.gif What does that hermit guy do? (not much I assume).

@SubRosa - she's a Bretoned-up Imperial.

The Direnni ruin was huge and featured a semi-hard puzzle to figure out if one wanted to descend deeper and reach Apocrypha.

The portal should probably be best left alone indeed, but I assume that your girls would have problems avoiding it as well. laugh.gif

@Renee - yeah, it can happen that it gets sunny or partly sunny, but it's not often.

The Sload was in charge of a cult of necromancers that were trying to get more influence in the Reach. With it out of the way, the cult was destroyed.

Davor is sitting right on the Whiterun throne. I hope the dragon's skull doesn't decide to fall down right at that moment.

Great pic of Davor outside of Windhelm.

SubRosa, don't click on the third pic!

Sir Vyvoor first slams shield on their heads, then stabs them.

I knew it's bread.

Ewww, I modded the creepy crawlies out of my game.

Sir V's idea of a party is killing elves! laugh.gif

Carbing up for future parties I see!
Acadian
Lopov - You can take the Knight out of the Reach but you can't take the Reachwoman out of the Knight. Heh, icicle-licking saber cat. tongue.gif

Renee - Good thing SV is getting his calories back up after fighting that GIANT spider! ohmy.gif
SubRosa
Reach for the Sky! Or Sky of the Reach... Very ominous looking!

The Asylum is pretty creepy too. Especially the red doors.

The unusual cell looks nice though.

Is the Hagraven Matriarch wearing a mask?

Oblivion looks ickier than ever. ohmy.gif

Watch out where the huskies go...
Lopov
@SubRosa - maybe the matriarch is wearing a mask, but it can't be retrieved. Then again, judging from the looks of her arms, it might not be a mask.

The Asylum was very creepy, because for a while Souissi was hunted by a demonic entity that couldn't be killed, it'd resurrect immediately.

Very long story short, Mara enlightened Souissi so now she knows that...

...the Prince isn't his own self anymore, years ago a demon took over and now strives to take over the Reach. With this new knowledge in mind, Souissi met Prince Damian and his bodyguard Predothor, the tallest man in the Reach, and agreed to have a dinner with them and some others nobles of High Rock.

Souissi didn't agree with the prince's view of how to gain control over Eastern High Rock by spilling more blood, so she was thrown in a pit and forced to fight against Predothor. ***

However, when wounded, Predothor, just like his superior, turned out to be everything but a human being. He was in fact an Alpha Xivilai.

When Souissi defeated his form on the Nirn, both of them were brought before the Dagonite Overlord and forced to fight again for his amusement.

Once again, the mortal and the Xivilai clashed.

The battle lasted for many hours...

...and once again Souissi prevailed.

Victorious, Souissi could now leave the plane of Oblivion and face the Prince.

_____

*** - it's also possible to side with the Prince, in which case you don't need to fight Predothor, instead a new questline opens up. Obviously by disagreeing with the Prince those quests now won't be available to Souissi.

Predothor has been up to now the most dangerous enemy she faced. The battle in fact lasted for many in-game hours. First we needed to figure out how to stop his health from regenerating, once we figured that out, the battle became slightly easier but because of his large pool of health and deadly blows, he was still a fearsome foe. At least the Overlord rewarded Souissi with the "Summon Predothor" spell, so now she can summon the alpha xivilai.
