In Daggerfall, there were six alternate endings that the player was free too choose from.

Now, this was TES2, so how could they possibly incorporate all six endings into TES3: Morrowind?

WITH A DRAGON BREAK!

Akatosh= The Dragon God of time. 'Break' time, and you 'break' the Dragon. A Dragon Break.

The book the 'Warp in the West' appearing first in Morrowind, and OB and Skyrim, recounts how stuff just all happened simultaneously. That is, all six endings happened side by side. The event of the Totem being used broke the dragon, and Akatosh has to mend time.

What happens is that stuff gets rearranged and Time, is never quite the same again.

Also: Lorkhan is Akatosh. WHAAAA?! Aedra and Daedra are quite literally their spheres. Akatosh is Time Itself.

Lorkhan is Space itself.

Space and Time are inexorably connected. Yet there is a dichotomy.

Short Version: Retconning to butcher your own lore to make a game that's interesting.

Like I said, I'll play it Grits's way, no problems. Don't understand it, but I'm not going to try to weed through the convoluted explanations, lol. It doesn't matter, just feels really odd.


How our characters warp into the realm has nothing to do with this, THAT is perfectly understandable. Our characters come from all different times and places, that is expected. But till now, once they arrived they were there in total; if they left the inn for whatever reason, they were actually gone from it during that period (like with the vampire quest).


To me it feels like an odd break in the flow of both storylines.

Abiene had a sense of concern/urgency/and priority when she entered the inn; went in knowing it was imperative they move quickly. She hurried to treat Lleris, then was going to try to reach Darnand. She even mentioned to Aravi that has committed herself to be rescuing a friend who is in a dire situation.

Then suddenly time stops; she has unlimited time to linger at the inn and hang out or handle low priority tasks as if she has no where important to be.

Then at some point she is suddenly going to have to act urgent and hurry out to join the rescue party like it is a dire task, which will feel odd after all that time spent idling.


Like I said before, this is just my POV and is worth zip, just saying it so you understand where I'm coming from. I don't care how it is done, just as long as we all have fun doing it. I always "go with the flow," but do ask if I don't understand something.


For as little planning as we've put into this triple questline; it is amazing this is the only hiccup so far.

Hey, how would Abiene like to help someone suffering from madness and a bloody nose and weak-stomach due to astral projection Oblivion strolling?

Edit: After Aravi and Abiene talk. I don't want to interrupt. So after that's said and done, perhaps? I didn't want this to be completely random than it seems, but it ties in with the character's history so might as well add it.

Abiene's exit is already planned so she's a little pushed for time after Aravi, but I would love to have her involved with helping out Lycus especially if it ties in with his history. Can he suffer until she gets back to the inn? She'd be super curious with lots of questions, since he has a huge number of old injuries plus the whole werewolf thing. Dialog opportunity.

But of course! I'll kick his butt for a few posts here and there until Abiene can help him out.

Lol, she is completely trustworthy. His wolf senses might detect that she finds him to be hot, but of course she’s too professional to admit such a thing. And anyway his wife might put some pants on him first.

She’ll certainly mention that she’ll keep his Lycanthropy private. She’s a little jumpy lately.

She gets to work on two lycanthropes at the same inn. She's going to think the area is crawling with them!

She is going to be bathing in Cure Disease potions and stuffing herself with mandrake root just in case there's an epidemic.
