Ha ha yup! The 'blonde knight' will wind up becoming Mycharonna's anti-hero, but i don't wanna spoil anything further!

One more writing for the night, and then it's time for me to head to bed.

(Day 7)

I saw her today! ...the dark elf scum!!! .. Skankee Krachk-ho traipsed close by the cam cabin formerley owned by that old woman, the one who took challenge of my me, and be it her fate that she has fallen. I merely smiled upon my countenance as she passed by, and the Skank mae made aassumption (perhaps) that I am in fact the old woman. Silly goose!

I have taken notice: Miss Skank has taken up residence is * * ...insidc Embershard Mine, a mining shaft near Riverswood, formicating perhaps with the d bandits she has not of doubt made her death childs. I have no desire to amek make troubles with Skankee. She has made her home, and so be it. But our pahts cannot cross, ever.

I have also taken notice of a myuset mysterious gathering of stones located up above the cabin of the fallen old woman. Such a starnge strange sight to see, funny that i have not made such notice of them befroehand. Perhaps I must make an adventurous inquiry on the morrow about their nature?

Mycharonna don't write so good, huh? XD

Have you ever written with a feather pen before? biggrin.gif I have. It takes a lot of practice to get the hang of writing with one, dipping its tip in ink, and writing again. Having a good balance with your wrist, arm, and shoulder to make sure the ink flows without blotching or making funny scratchy shapes! ... Mycharonna is also not a calligraphy expert who writes all pretty, she's merely attempting to translate her thoughts to paper.

and she's living on the edge! This is why she makes so many spelling errors. She's in a place she's never been before, and she's aging. She's lost the group of mages she was traveling with, etc. She's not really scared, but she is constantly on the edge.

...I didn't know all sorts of random enemies cross through that area (where Anise's cabin is), especially the random bandits and scavengers. I can't help but factor ALL of this in as I am writing Mycharonna's thoughts.

I don't want to 'edit' her work, see? Make sense? ... I also like the fact that Lord Haaf-Mersey's game has an entirely different style of writing to it. I like that there's a difference.

Okay I'll shut up now.

At Day 9, Lord Haaf-Mersey and Skankee Krahk-ho would both have been in Whiterun. Haaf-Mersey would be staying at the Bannered Mare, and Skank had spent a few days actually living in Arcadia's, "sleeping" in the chair in the spare room that sits off to the side from the main part of the shop.

So Skank is there, and Mycharonna shows up. Both these gals try to keep a low profile, because they know Haaf-Mersey (the "fair-haired knight") is the one who broke up their former posse of rogue mages, and they don't want him discovering that they are also in Whiterun.

~Mycharonna of Bruma

Mycharonna the Ice Witch discovered the joys of moon sugar and Skyrim's version of skooma. She also got curious and made a journey on her own to Ivarstead, just out of curiosity. Along the way she found a cave full of vampires, and gladly accepted their 'gift'. She knows she is infected with Sanguinare Vampiris, and intends to go the full round. She is going to become a vampire. Gladly so.

She has learned there is some sort of haunted barrow next to Ivarstead, and she's going to make the full transformation from Imperial human to Skyrim vampire inside this barrow.

Her current spells include: Summon Flame Atronach, Raise lesser undead, Ice Spike, Flames, Frostbite, Oakflesh, Fury, and one made-up spell: Shapeshifter. I am considering Shapeshifter to be a sort of unofficial illusion spell.

Mycharonna always wears Robes of Minor Destruction, which look basically like a Necromancer's robes. But if she needs to go into a civilized area, she casts her Shapeshifter, so now she appears to have regular clothes on instead of these evil-looking robes.
Darkness Eternal
Today Raven went to sell her weapons and armor in Whiterun, but day had arrived so she ran into the chapel of Kynareth. Lucky for her she found a bunch of sick and wounded people she could feed off of.

So she did . . .and then she waited until 7:00 PM so she can make her coin and go out again to hunt down vampires.

I played little Skyrim today, so her nightly adventure wasn't as action packed.
Lady Saga
Mycharonna just fed for the first time after reaching Stage 2. That was fun! ...Does feeding make NPCs wake up? Two of them woke up after she was done the feed, but I'm not sure if it's because of that or because she went out of sneak mode.

I don’t know exactly how the feeding/waking works. Niv got into trouble all the time when she tried to feed, and Venja just doesn’t. Niv would have been terrified to feed on the people in Kynareth’s chapel like Raven did. She was not good at being a vampire.

"We have angered Malacath, and must be punished".

"By the ash pit, we can't go on like this"....

Mycharonna the Ice Witch
has discovered a fort full of orcs called Largashbur. As a new vampire in a new land, she seeks out safe places to stay, and this is going to be one of them. The sun shall rise in a few hours. Nice that these orcs are not hostile, and take her in without a warning, a glare, or a raised set of weapons.

Mycharonna carries a book of daedra wherever she goes, and has a look at what Malacath is all about, before going to sleep for the day.

This next bit it taken from Day 29, as the Ice Witch sits in Riften's jail. She had been challenged by a townsman to steal a ring from an Argonian merchant's stall, but all went wrong and Mycharonna was quickly caught by the guards.

QUOTE

The mighty traitor a has claimed my hand! And has bethrust me into this stinking Riften jail. He shalt a pay for this!!!

Might I make one wish to thee, Clavicaus, that the traitorous man who has la led me here shalt fall by my daddar daggar? SWISH! ... I shall make him yours.

Please, accpt my givt. take him for your own!

/~Mycharonna, 15th of heartfire

After getting out of jail, she tried, and failed, to kill Brynoff (sp?) the guy who wanted her to steal the Argonian's ring. But before this, there was a beggar sitting next to Brynoff's stall, who was complaining of hunger. Mycharonna put an apple before the beggar, this apple is the last piece of food she had on her since becoming a vamp.

I didn't expect what came next: Brand-Shei and some other NPC walked in front of the beggar. One of these two said "I saw it first" or something like that. Were these guys really going to fight over an apple? Yes, they did. I could not believe it.

During this melee, Mycharonna took advantage of the fact that Brynoff had wandered off to the side to watch the fight. She cast a Fury spell towards Brynoff, but hit the poor beggar instead. That's when all hell broke loose! ...I have no idea what happened after that, Mycharonna had no choice but to flee Riften.

She wound up being chased by multiple guards, until going into Sneak mode and casting her Embrace of Shadows, which makes her invisible for 3 minutes. When the spell wore off, a couple of the guards had been hanging around (unbeknownst to me and my Ice Witch) and began chasing her back into the countryside, until a couple trolls showed up.

Mycharonna managed to sneak off behind a boulder, while the guards got clobbered by these trolls!

It is? Cool, that is what I am going for with her.

Also, when we read old accounts from hundreds of years ago (not the Declaration of Independence or the Magna Carta, but random journals people kept of their lives), they are usually have some mistakes with spelling, or regional dialects that don't jive with what we know in modern English.

I don't want it to be all perfect, in other words, and so I leave her work edit-free. I can be "perfect" with my other writings, or at least try to. Not with My Sharonna, though.

"It's funny how life changes so quickly. Two days ago I was merely accompanying few renegade Nords across The Jeralls to ensure their safe arrival over the border with Skyrim... if everything went as planned, I'd have a lot of septims in my pockets and would be drinking a mead in Bruma... but instead I'm in Whiterun, miles from Bruma, desperately trying to fall asleep while some lunatic downstairs just won't stop singing a song about Ragnar the Red. First an ambush by Imperials, then the execution, then the dragon, then escaping out of the collapsing town."

Chamany La Verden was thinking about latest events while lying on a bed in The Bannered Mare and as already said, trying to get some sleep while listening to the bard downstairs. He was very tired but when he closed his eyes, gruesome scenes of last two days appeared.

He doesn't have a faintest idea where to go and what to do... he was asked to find a Dragonstone for a court wizard with a strange voice but he told him that he may not do it. He fulfilled his part of the bargain when he asked the Jarl for help on behalf of Alvor and that's about it.

"Guy that I met at the bar was a laid-back fellow, I forgot his name but I remember he said he's from the family of Battle-Borns and that they are in a sort of personal war with some other family. He advised me to look for work at Companions and I've already met some of them on my way to Whiterun. They looked capable and hardy and perhaps I'll go ask them if they're accepting new members."

Truth is, Chamany didn't have a lot of gold as most of it was seized by Imperial soldiers when he was arrested. He got some gold from Alvor and earned some more when he sold the Imperial armor which he picked up at Helgen but prices were very steep here and he will have to find some sort of income.

Returning to Cyrodiil was pointless - he didn't know the way back and he didn't want to get ambushed again. He can as well look for his fortune in Skyrim. Chamany has made it out of numerous difficult situations before and with these optimistic thoughts he slowly fell asleep.

Middas, 6:04 AM, 1st of Frostfall

Mycharonna the Ice Witch
was on her way back to the orc stronghold she found near Riften. She has collected up a daedric heart and some troll fat: two items one of the orcs wanted. She sees these orcs as allies, otherwise she would not have gone to such troubles to bring these items to them.

But....she got a little sidetracked. ...And the sun is about to come out. She has discovered a place called Avanchnzel, a Dwemer ruin. She initially thinks it is a home of the former Ayleids (as she is familiar with Ayleid ruins down in Cyrodiil) but the architecture of the place is all wrong.

She slips inside Avanchnzel just as she starts to feel the shock of the sun upon her face and hands. But it's too bad, the door she entered was followed by another door which could not be opened.

Mycharonna found a blank book inside White River Watch, it's the one the blind man has sitting on the table before him. So now she has plenty of paper to write on. She doesn't have to keep using rolls of paper. The following is taken from Day 45 (Day 24 as a vampire)

QUOTE

"Is someone there?" asked a female bandit at Halted Stream Camp when she heard someone walking on the plank above.
"Indeed it is!" loudly said a Breton in steel armor and jumped down in right in front of her, wielding a steel mace in his right and iron sword in his left hand.

"Chamany La Verden at your service!" he said and hit her with his steel mace. Bandit leader and a bandit mage came to her help but Chamany had no real difficultes defeating them. Especially because female bandit accidentally stepped on a pressure plate and was killed by a swinging mammoth head and bandit mage turned his chief on fire when he lit some oil on the ground. Chamany was also set on fire but easily finished off a mage and his wounded chief.

With the bandits at Halted Stream Camp dead, Chamany collected his reward from the steward. In fact he found much more gold at the camp and the steward's reward seemed meager in comparison. Still, Chamany realized that although prices in Skryim are very steep, gold is not hard to come by. After clearing out a camp and selling some valuables he ended up with 1277 gold and he had a good reason to afford some alto wine, cooked beef and an apple pie at The Bannered Mare where he drank a toast to himself and to the beginning of his new life in Skyrim. Being tired from a long walk, he went to sleep early.

He spent the entire next day in Whiterun - he improved his steel armor at Adrianne's, sold Imperial boots from Helgen and bought a nice pair of steel cuffed boots which he improved as well. He also sold his iron sword and bought a steel one instead so now he wields a steel mace and steel sword simultaneously. After crafting black fur bag at the forge he took the Jarl's sword on behalf of Adrianne to her father - the steward. While returning from the Dragonsreach, a strong blonde Nord in the same armor that Chamany wore when escaping from Helgen, passed by and asked Chamany:

"Grey-Mane or Battle-Born?"

"What?" replied Chamany and then remembered that this has probably something to do with two feuding families.
"Got stones in your ears? I asked what side you're on, Gray-Mane or Battle-Born!" replied the angry Nord.
"Like I care." said Chamany and continued his way down the stairs. When he heard "Long live the Empire" behind him, he regretted not choosing the Grey-Manes, just to piss the Nord off. Luckily, he had a chance to 'correct' his mistake when he bumped into the same Nord right next to Belethor's general goods an hour later.

"Grey-Mane or Battle-Born?"
Chamany crossed his arms, smiled and said:"Grey-Mane of course!"
"Then you're either a Stormcloak sympathizer or a fool, either way, you not a friend of mine!"
"And neither you're mine," said Chamany and went on - feeling good for making this Nord angry. The guy whom he met at the bar the other day was probably his brother because they looked much alike but it seems his brother was more down-to-earth guy. After chopping some wood for Hulda and eating his supper Chamany extended his lodging at the inn.

In the morning he's heading to Redoran's Retreat to get rid of the bandits there. He wanted to read some book before going to sleep but the only books in the endtable were The Monomyth and Antecedants of Dwemer Law. After skimming over first pages of both books, Chamany rather decided to go to sleep instead of reading something pointless.

Litte know they of the fierceness which dwells inside my h.art. For 'tis I, Mycharonna whom feels the mighty pulses of their hearts , and deep inside my onwn.

And now the very calling of Malacath is beyond.

It saddens me. Why had the orc tryed to take me down? Can I tusr trust no-one? And no-body? Can I not take my soul .. wha* is left of it? and bare it to no-one here in Skyrim?

It saddens me. And on the morrow I shall return to them...these orcs who *well inside Langarshbur. I had hoped for eternity should they make acceptance of me. Will it not be so?

~Mycharronna

The Ice Witch traveled to Fallowstone Cave to help an orc fight a couple giants, but the orc suddenly adopted a certain policy after this feat was accomplished: only one of them would leave Fallowstone alive!

The orc lost, obviously. Neither her nor I wanted to fight the orc in the first place; she's been looking at him as an ally, not an enemy. She is supposed to return to Largashbur (however you spell it), and I'm really hoping this isn't going to turn ugly. mellow.gif

Right now Mycharonna is in Riften, hiding in one of the Bunkhouse's spare rooms while other sleep nearby. She wants to feed, but it's too soon. She has to wait. But once the mundane duties of buying and shopping are done in Riften, she will select her next victim.

----------------------

Redoran's Retreat has been cleared of bandits - mostly easy work but Chamany La Verden sometimes overestimates his abilities and that's why he had minor difficulties with the Nord Bandit leader. Chamany has only two techniques in combat: he either finishes his enemies off with few powerful and well-placed swings or he 'plays' by taunting and hitting them on occasion while avoiding their blows. Well, the bandit leader at Redoran's Retreat obviously didn't like his taunting and successfully blocked Breton's attacks on more than one occasion which in return staggered Chamany. In the end he was victorious but a little bit surprised that the Bandit leader gave him troubles. He also found a Treasure Map, according to which the treasure should be hidden somewhere in the mountains behind one of the farms close to Whiterun. Chamany also found a book called The Last Seed v8 that seemed a bit more interesting as the books at The Bannered Mare so he took it.

Apart from two encounters in Whiterun there were no other events worth mentioning on that day. First one occured when Chamany was on his way to the Dragonsreach to claim his reward and he bumped into that blonde Nord in Imperial armor again.

"I should bash you in your face for what you've done," said the Nord.
"Then do it," said Chamany and turned around. "Right here, right now."
"Long live the Empire," said the Nord and went on.
"Coward," thought Chamany but was satisfied because he 'won' the battle again - he likes winning.

The second encounter occured when an old man in noble clothes entered his private room at The Bannered Mare.

"Olfrid, patron of the great clan Battle-Born, a name I'm sure you know well."
"I do but I don't care about you or your clan. Now be so kind and leave my room, please."
"Watch yourself out there."

Chamany wasn't generally rude to people (although he had sort of "I'm a bit better than you, but it's fine" attitude) but he didn't like the old man for two reasons: first - he entered his room without invitation (though he wouldn't complain if it were Saadia or Olfina) and second - he was probably father of that blonde Nord whom he pissed off.
----------
The next day he found the treasure and decided to sell most of the valuables to Khajiit trader in front of Whiterun. "These Khajiits and I have much in common... they came to Skyrim because the land is torn apart because of the war and merchants became scarce - so they have an ideal opportunity to earn a lot of gold in short time. I didn't come to Skyrim of my free will... but mercenaries here are much needed and well-paid because of the war as well... exactly like Khajiit said - Skyrim is like a ripe fruit, ready to be picked."

He spent the rest of the day in The Bannered Mare, socializing with the patrons. He defeated hardy Nord woman in a short brawl and did some reading - he didn't regret taking the book from Redroan's Retreat but the book was very long and he left some of it for later. Chamany also tried flirting with Saadia in the kitchen but she wasn't very talkative and despite saying to him on one occasion "What do you need, handsome?" she later repeated her usual phrase:"Now please, no more questions."

With Saadia occupying his thoughts Chamany La Verden fell asleep... tomorrow he's heading to clear another camp west of Whiterun.

J'zirlo has found himself transported to the island of Solstheim to sort out the starfish wearing dudes...He has also brought his brother along for the ride...

I would let you borrow a TV if I could, we've got several our house that we're not using!

Just be patient, DE, it's coming. I was on Beth's forums today and I only read psyched, ecstatic posts from various gamers, nothing negative. Framerate gets mostly fixed. Draw distance is improved. You are going to get a better game overall. Be psyched!

"These Khajiits and I have much in common... they came to Skyrim because the land is torn apart because of the war and merchants became scarce - so they have an ideal opportunity to earn a lot of gold in short time. I didn't come to Skyrim of my free will... but mercenaries here are much needed and well-paid because of the war as well... exactly like Khajiit said - Skyrim is like a ripe fruit, ready to be picked."

biggrin.gif I love the Khajiit caravans! They're so convenient for unloading all sorts of gear (and maybe buying some, too). I like that we don't always have to go into a walled town just to buy & trade.

Your conversations in your story had me cracking up!

The Imperial and Stormcloak camps are great for this too. Once Helgen gets populated by bandits you can kill them all and loot the place. Then go down the road to the east and sell it all to the Stormcloaks who are practically next door.

I've been feeling the need to return to my dastardly underhanded ways in the Elder Scrolls world as of late. While playing Raslon Andavel, Dunmer Archmage and Dragonborn, has been a breath of fresh air I feel my roots calling. So without further delay allow me to introduce Former Khajiit Bandit Dar'Sarish!

Sundas, Seventeenth of Last Seed

Stupid is a fine word, simple in its meaning and easy to weave into any insult. Stupid does not begin to describe the 'bandits' that dwelled in the mine of Embershard. In Cyrodiil we at least had the foresight to give our lookouts a helping hand. Foolish girl didn't even hear me slip from the supports behind her. And now she'll never hear anything again.

The Nords inside were equally foolish. One on guard the other napping. NAPPING! I understand needing to sleep. Shifts and all, but only a single ally to protect you whilst you slumber? Moronic. Sleeper died first. Slit his throat. Tricked the other into their own rock trap at the entrance. Should have watched his footing, ironic the last conversation he had was about the very thing that ended him.

Two guards for their stash, at least got that right. Guard in the hall fell to my steel dagger, should have sprung for better armor than just hide. Right between the ribs. Punched through a lung. He turned just in time for me to slam my dagger just under his chin.

Watch for the loot door was simple. Their store room was exposed on one side, tossed a few coin off the table and predictably she went in to investigate. While she looked for a Skeever I snuck in behind. Slit her throat.

Last three were a problem. After I executed their smith on the ground floor, his friends on the walkways above noticed me. Bowman and a hefty hammer-happy Nord. Managed to keep Hammer in front of Bow. Light on my feet, picky with my stabs, and down went Hammer. Took a few arrows from Bow but managed to charge up the ramps and close the distance. Finished him by piercing his skull.

Dropped loot off at Traders in Riverwood. Bought a room at Giant's. Not bad work after the botched migration and the dragon. Going to stay around Riverwood for a few more days. Keep eyes open for law. Thinking about it just makes my fur itch... Going to bed.

That Bandit Chief at Redoran’s Retreat gave me a real surprise the first time through, Lopov.

Yay J’ZIRLO!! biggrin.gif And it’s great to hear from another Khajiit, Dar’Sarish!

So I ran a few of my PS3 characters around a little today to see who had survived the patch and Dragonborn installation. No one has left Skyrim yet, but so far the little hiccups are smoothing out nicely. Everything was going to plan. And then I woke up Jerric.

Grits: Hi. This is not an adventure. This is only a test. We’re just— Where are you going?

Jerric: To the forge.

Grits: No, wait! That’s Out Of Character. You’re not a blacksmith! I only gave you those perks so you could… I mean so that Eorlund could upgrade your plate!

Jerric: Perks? Are you talking about Ysolda?

Darnand: Good morning! smile.gif (I accidentally clicked Marcurio in my befuddlement, and he gave his most cheerful greeting. Probably enjoying the show.)

Jerric: *goes to forge*

Grits: Now just hold on! You don’t know—

Jerric: Sure I do. There’s new armor and weapons in there now. Nordic Carved. *gestures to self* Nordic. Carved.

Grits: Are you referring to your abs? How did you know about the new stuff?

Jerric: Saw it in your brain. Who do you think woke you up at 2:45 this morning? Now step back, woman. I have work to do. viking.gif

Grits: …

Whiterun Guard: Guard might get nervous, a man approaches with his weapon drawn.

Darnand: *snorts*

Jerric: All right, ready. I still have some ale and horker meat in my inventory from the last trip. It’s not rat, but it’ll do. Oh wait, forget I said ale. Now, where are we going?

Morndas, Eighteenth of Last Seed

Stay in Riverwood was cut short. Blacksmith has better eyes than Khajiit thought. Caught this one filching one of his iron maces, whole town chased me out. Lucky they don't have guards. Cut through the mountains northward. Killed three bandits hold up in a tower. Saw smoke coming from tomb near mountain top tower troupe was probably a lookout guard. Better organized.

Foot of the mountain opened into plains, saw my first Giant. Large fellows, not too bright. Stuck into their camp and looted what little they had, just gold. Headed to large walled city to the east. Big thing built on a hill, should be easy to disappear. Khajiit might be able to start up a ring there.

Guards tried to bar me from the city! "Don't want yer kind here, Cat", they said. Told them I'd been to the Imperial fort that was hit. That this one had urgent words for their leader. Bought it perfectly.

Night fell all to quickly, Bannered Mare had good food and warm beds. Also kind to this one. Khajiit will rest, tomorrow go looking around town.

Ha, Grits! Raslon did just that as well. Well, he looked through the library over at the collage insisting there was to be a new shipment of native Dunmer tombs. He and Urag got into a bit of a verbal argument... The books had not arrived. Needless to say the Dunmer Archmage was livid but Urag maintained that the order had never been placed...

"You are sure this is where Master Trey says it is?" Asked J'Zargo.

"Of course, look here is the brochure, it says, quite clearly, Thirk Mead Hall."

"Riiiight...*Sniffs*...Something smells foul."

Suddenly, a long spear is waved in front of the brothers' faces. A voice from knee-height declares, "You. Fol. Low. Me."

" blink.gif ... kvleft.gif ..." Says J'Zirlo.

" kvright.gif ... huh.gif ..." Agrees J'Zargo.

"Awwwwww" Chorus the family McB.

"Daddeh, I want a Riekling." Declares the daughter.

"Okaaaay." Says J'Zargo, "So what do we do now? I doubt there's a lusty-"

"You. Fol. Low. Me!"

"-Anything for miles-"

"YOU. FOL. LOW. ME!!"

"-Let alone any damned mea-"

"YOU.FOl.LOW.ME.YOU.FOL.LOW.ME.YOU.FOL.LOW.MEEEEEE!!!!" Said the now bouncing Riekling.

" ohmy.gif blink.gif kvright.gif " Said J'Zargo.

" kvleft.gif *Shrug* " Replied J'Zirlo.

The Khajiits proceeded to follow the now joyously skipping tiny warrior into the once beautiful Mead Hall. Tables and chairs were strewn everywhere; piles of refuse and waste lay here and there.

"Ooooh, look brother, maybe you could pick up some decorating tips for that house you're going to build."

"It is not started yet. I still have to wait for the damned thing to come out!!." Said J'Zirlo, breaking the Fourth Wall.

They stood before a teeny little goblin-like creature in an improbably huge ornate headdress.

"You big!" the - what was obviously - chieftan declared, "You go. Bring back prize pig! Bring Bilgemuck!"

"Oooh," said J'Zargo, "He wants some of your cooking brother!"

"Careful brother, I will need a foundation for my house...Perhaps I should use your head for it?"

"You would put a house on me? Your own brother?...You would...Oz-tracise me?"

----------------------

The brothers have also taken posession of a large boat-wreck/Reaver camp near Raven Rock...It's pretty, and, most importantly, it has a strong box...Which I will take on the faith in my friend Grits, that it is Safe Storage™... biggrin.gif ...

Some of you may know what that's all about, smile.gif I'm not gonna say, though. I'll keep it vague. I will say this, though: Mycharonna found a free house to live in. Whenever she's in Windhelm, she's got a free place to stay, and the other occupants don't seem to mind. This means she does not have to force herself to stay in Windhelm's inn, and this makes me happy because I wouldn't have found this safe house if I wasn't roleplaying, getting into her head. I was pleased to see them in the game, as Kraven is one of those characters who I RPed eating locusts with honey(John the Baptist reference). Did I mention that it's free?... biggrin.gif ...
