Okay, here are some screens from Anvil; some scenes from a Dolman; a few of the greatest dungeon (and crawl) ever made; and some of my friends I play with. (I've "known" them from over there at the TESAlliance site since 2010 - they kind of pushed me into trying ESO, lol)

Misa's butt looks great in Morrowind! laugh.gif

Buttflap the Maladorus? laugh.gif

That Ayleid ruin does look really cool! Now I see why you were talking about Garlas Agea.

I think its cute how that one girl's health bar fits perfectly between the horns of her helmet.

The "Awesome dungeon crawl" ones are not in an Ayleid ruin; they are from the greatest dungeon crawl I ever went on in Hammerfell - the place was spectacular; like an Egyptian tomb with secret passages all through it.

The Ayleid ruin interiors in ESO look very much like the Oblivion ones did (as in the screens Grits posted) ; but they feel bigger in ESO; and the graphics are stunning. They are a bit cleaner due to it being 2 Eras earlier than the Oblivion ones; but not too nice.

Oh, the swinging blade traps in the ESO Ayleid ruins - the blades look a lot cleaner right before they slice you, rollinglaugh.gif They are not as easy to avoid as they were in Oblivion at all !!!

Thanks, SubRosa! I thought of you immediately on that first shot, which is why I took that screen.

Aussie - the girl with the health bar stuck in her helmet - she always wears that helmet; and some of the players who play as goblins act like she is their queen, they bow to her whenever she goes anywhere in that helmet, lol.

Great screenshots, mALX! Yay for Acadian in the chatbox!!!

Bahraha’s Gloom is my favorite dungeon ever. Jerric had to send Lil in to find the secret passage after he failed on multiple trips, and it took her forever! I yelled out in absolute delight when she finally found it. What a moment! Then when Jerric went back in he fell off the board walkways more than once before he got through, lol. That place was like being in an Indiana Jones movie. Jerric just about lost his mind looking for a way to get at the Skyshard. It was the perfect tease to show it at the beginning.

I think that wilderness set crafting spot is where you make Tava’s Favor gear. Jerric and Lil go there a lot, and when Darnand goes he makes four or five staves, shields, or bows for whoever needs them so he won’t have to go back as they level up. Darnand does not enjoy Hew’s Bane.

I got to see Garlas Malatar today. Very cool with all of the minotaurs roaming around. They are so noble-looking and awesome in ESO!

I'm downright afraid of them in ESO, lol.

Oh, that crawl in Bahraha's Gloom (I didn't remember the name of the place) but it was the absolute most fun dungeon crawl ever !!! Those cat walks - yeah, I was scared Misa was going to fall too! And yes, it was very reminiscent of being in an Indiana Jones type thing - LOVED those fancy chests and urns!!!!

Did you go inside Garlas Malatar? I didn't, just found it and put it on the map. Since there wasn't a skyshard in there, it got put off till later, lol.

It is pretty there, but - like Darnand (not my favorite spot in Tamriel, lol.)

Been out of town for a week and nice to catch up!

hazmick – Those ruins look really neat – and spooky. Love Haa-Rei’s new guar! Oh, and Bruma looks very recognizable! Have not seen an ESO minotaur yet but your screen of one sure looks neat. ohmy.gif

Grits – Wow, it is so neat to see the ESO Gold Coast through Jerric’s eyes – it looks fabulous. And there he is, fishing of course. tongue.gif

mALX – Gosh, what a beautiful collection of Misa – adventures all over Tamriel. I especially love the Cyrodiil ones. Yup, Buffy wishes she was there too and when she gets to be a big girl, maybe she’ll get there. wink.gif

For me it was worth the 2000 crowns just to get to play in Anvil even if I didn't play in the DB questline = all the new quests and areas to explore; and Kvatch before the Daedra destroyed it with its Arena active - well worth the 2000 crowns. But that said, I am actually enjoying the DB perks too. Really llke being able to sneak up on enemies in dungeons and take them out without a big battle using the new assassination actions; and of course the new personality idles, (not to mention the huge amounts of loot; lol.)

Grits
Here's a picture of Jerric in the Rift getting smashed and playing Nord games. That was one of the best times he's ever had!

In honor of hazmick's festive screenshot for the month of September, Buffy couldn't resist jumping into the middle of things and dancing the night away. smile.gif
SubRosa
That one should definitely go in the Caption topic!

Yay for dancing Buffy! happy.gif

Of course Jerric headed straight to Skywatch when he heard that Haa-Rei and Buffy were there. He tested his theory that a song and dance with Elven women can be improved by the presence of a shirtless Nord (and his dog) on stage, as long as he is the Nord. Party!!

BWAAHAA! Ulfe too!

hazmick
Ha! Buffy and Jerric are certainly getting more involved with the festivities than Haa-Rei. He actually spent most of his time at Skywatch picking pockets, which is a form of entertainment in itself I suppose tongue.gif
Grits
I loved that Haa-Rei was in the audience in his picture! With his natural reserve that is where I would have guessed he would be, just like I'd look for the blondes right in the middle of the dance party. And now I see Buffy's little fox on stage, too. wub.gif

Now Jerric is looking for Calia and Misa! biggrin.gif

They are on their way!!!!

Acadian
Buffy kind of blends in on stage but Jerric steals the show! Hee!

And I'm with Grits on Haa-Rei. I imagine him in the audience sipping tea after a profitable evening of picking pockets. tongue.gif

I'm looking forward to seeing a red-headed Nord girl dancing up there soon, mALX! laugh.gif

Oh, and SubRosa. . . c'mon in! The ESO water's fine. I bet you'll like it.

Buffy, Calia, and Misa in Skywatch!

MALX, those are fantastic! Buffy had such a great time playing with Calia. Sorry we missed Jerric, Haa-Rei and Misa.

Great shots. I didn't realize how many you took! I only took 4 I think and only one came out nice. It looks pretty much like some of yours with Buffy and Calia dancing together on stage. I'll post it later cuz right now it would be pretty redundant to some of yours.

For others, Calia and Buffy linked up in Skywatch and spent lots of time playing dress up before going to that little evening party. It was great fun showing off our outfits and playing with animations and such. smile.gif

We spent 20 minutes showing each other all our outfits before even reaching the stage, lol. It was a blast! I so wish all of us could meet up!

Grits
That would be awesome. It’s still fun to get together through screenshots, though, like we did for Aravi’s videos.

Lil had a friendly Young Wasp following her for a while, and I managed to get a picture of it. She’s presently wearing a mix of Khajiit and Bosmer style gear, since she is not a fan of her level’s long-sleeved Bosmer tops.

Acadian
Lil looks fabulous as ever and I love her little jackel!

Okay, before I fire up ESO tonight and lose track of time (again) let me share a few screenies.

First, I started Julian in the Daggerfall Covenant. It was a natural choice for her. Due to the characteristics of this ESO game, though, ESO Julian is a different personality than the Oblivion Julian we all know. She is much more cautious, and will turn her back on a quest because it feels too overpowered for her.

Still, we progressed enough to handcraft a Rawhide Armor set for her (she prefers medium armor). Unlike Oblivion Julian, ESO Julian is using more magic. Weird, as this is 2nd Era Tamriel, and Redguards haven't yet fully assimilated into Imperial culture, so magicka aversion should be strong in this race, right? Nope, not as far as Julian is concerned. Her primary weapon is Strife. With magicka enhancing rings/amulets, she can get three or four strikes in before she runs out. And she seldom runs out unless she is taking on a big enemy (Specter of Lord Velian comes to mind - he took six tries before she finally killed him).

We did figure out how to dye the armor so it suits her taste and better reflects her origins in Hammerfell. We call it her Desert Storm armor. She made the various pieces at Levels 7-9 so they were useful. But she missed having a good strong sword to go with the shield she had been given as a quest reward.

Last night we had a surprise encounter with mALX's Bubba. He gave her a full Level 14 medium armor and weapon set (including sword and board). It is Breton style, not Redguard, but Julian likes it very much. She did find the color a little dark (!), so we went back to the dyeing station and turned it into her Desert Storm palette. I sense a theme coming on - it seems that she is so attached to this color combination that we will be dyeing all of her armor sets this way for quite some time! That's okay, we both like the way she looks in this outfit.

Julian is particularly fond of the curved sword Curved. Sword. she received along with the armor, and the matching shield to go with it is not too big. She can't wait to get back out in the field and try them out. We are discussing heading back to Stros M'Kai to gather more star metal just in case she decides to retire and go into blacksmithing/leather crafting (more likely she'll meet an Orc friend who will do that for her . . .).

In the meantime, she is considering her next adventure.
hazmick
Julian looks great! That Breton style gear really suits her.
Acadian
Yup, Julian looks great and I love the color palette you're using!

Buffy not only discovered the Elden Root dying station but she figured out she can dye costumes as well. Gosh, she spent a good part of the day there!
SubRosa
Julian is looking really good. One thing I do admire about ESO is the character appearance building. It allows you to create the best-looking characters of all the ES games.

Her Bubba armor is really cool. The big leather pieces in the first color scheme fit her skin tone better though. But I do think the lighter cloth of the re-dyed version goes better with her hair. It is too bad you cannot do with the dark brown leather and grey cloth, I think that would match up with her skin and hair perfectly.
haute ecole rider
The Redguard armor Julian crafted is slightly different than the Breton armor. I did try it one way where the leather was dark, but Julian said it was too much dark brown. I'll have another go at the dyeing station when we return to Daggerfall.

I rather knew you would like the way Julian looks in ESO!

I'm really surprised how pretty the Breton gear is! I'm glad she likes it! Julian looks Awesome! And I see she is flipping coins already!

Acadian, thank you! I love being able to change her hairstyle now. (I got the hairstyle pack from the Crown store.) I remember when I discovered you could dye clothing, I immediately thought of Buffy’s magically colored outfits in Skyrim. And now she can magically color them in ESO! happy.gif

haute, ESO Julian looks fabulous! I love the colors she has chosen. The Breton gear looks great on her.

mALX, thanks! In that picture Lil is wearing mostly medium armor and a heavy belt plus one light piece, I think her invisible hood (so that she levels all three armor lines). Her shoulders are Breton, chest piece Khajiit, and the rest is Bosmer style.

Yes, the same armor motif will look at least slightly different in the various materials. Sometimes very different, for example the Bosmer female medium armor goes from the cropped top look in Rawhide and Hide to a more coverage look in the higher level materials.

Julian and I went back to the dyeing station and tried what you suggested. Then we took pics of Julian in Stros M'Kai so to take advantage of the desert sun and sand that she is used to. I do like how it changes the shield colors, but Julian thinks the cuirass is too dark.

And yes, that's her pocket dragon! Named Puff the Magic Drake, of course! Great for mosquito control, especially with Zika virus and malaria circulating around.

This morning we rolled a new toon, one I had been thinking about for support for Julian. Please welcome Mazul gra Duroch. She's a DragonKnight and is going to try playing as a tank. Accordingly, I built her to be a big, strong girl who won't back down from a fight. In fact, she does have a tendency to charge into the fray, and I have to hold her back and convince her to soften up her enemies first with a few spells. She's now at Level 3 (we skipped the tutorial dungeon) and is recruiting crew members for the Captain back in Stros M'Kai. We busted the Scoundrel out of the Grave, and now she is taking a few moments (more like the night in game) to think over what she has learned about combat and staying alive so far. She is also actively gathering materials for crafting - I think she already has decided she will be a Forge Master (as opposed to a Forge-wife), so that should be good for her as she progresses through the levels.

The blue cuirass is from the "Morihaus" set (= 3 pieces because she is wearing two rings from the set = 1935 Physical resistance). ** I added weapon damage and spell damage to the rings. (like 125 each)

http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....of+Morihaus+Set

The greaves and one weapon (duel wield) are from the "Hunding's Rage." (= 2 pieces - 688 weapon crit)

http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....ng%27s+Rage+Set

The gauntlets and necklace lare from "Storm Knight" set. (2 pieces = 1822 spell resistance) ** the necklace came with +25 weapon damage.

http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....#39;s+Plate+Set

The belt, boots, helmet, and shoulders plus one weapon (duel wield) are from the Kvatch Gladiator = 5 pieces

http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....h+Gladiator+Set

If I go to the bow, I lose either the weapon crit from Hunding's Rage or lose my 5 piece bonus off the Gladiator, so ... not happy with this mish-mosh at this moment. My last armor/weapon sets allowed me to bring in the Prismatic on my duel-wield if I wanted to, or play with just my bow that was part of the set - and my necklace and rings were open for anything I wanted. (combo of Nightmother's Gaze and Whitestrake's Retribution).

And on top of that, the helmet on this new set looks like a bird died on her head =

mALX, thanks for the info, I can’t believe I didn’t recognize the Morihaus cuirass! That’s what Jerric is wearing. *palms face*The blue looks gorgeous on Misa with her red hair! That’s quite a bird helmet. I think I would hide it, too. Although with all of the monster helmets that people wear now, she fits right in with a dead bird on her head!

I don’t think I ever posted this, so here is Darnand in an Ayleid ruin. Part of it was broken into a cavern system. It was so beautiful in there!

Also here is a picture of Jerric in Wrothgar. I was about to fiddle with his inventory when an elk walked over and sniffed his butt. It made a noise and kind of nudged him, too. It was funny but mildly alarming. Unfortunately he was not wearing a helm with antlers or horns on it. That would have been funnier.

See? Even the elk hit on Jerric! Of course, that does sort of look like a boy elk. laugh.gif

Great shot of Darnand with his clannbuddy and hoppingdragon pals as they overlook that ruin.

Some Buffy adventure-wear fashion shots. tongue.gif

Here is a full set of Bosmer hide medium armor that dear mALX crafted and enchanted for Buffy. Screenshot 1.
Here is the same armor after Buffy spent some time at the dying station with it. Forest green and tan are definitely her adventuring colors. Screenshot 2.

Expecting that higher level medium armors will look less and less attractive, Buffy has a couple costumes that she has dyed. She figures both of these look pretty 'ranger adventuress' and can hide her real armor if is starts to look less nice than the beautiful rawhide/hide.
Slightly more substantial ranger outfit. Screenshot 3.
Somewhat lighter duty ranger outfit. Screenshot 4.

The Bosmer Hide armor is looking good. So too is the forest around Buffy in that first pic.

I think the Substantial Ranger outfit looks good, with all its buckles around the waist. The less substantial one looks a little futuristic, with the piping on the legs.

Grits - Jerric really suits that heroic pose, maybe that's what attracted the elk!

Acadian - Buffy looks great, as always. I agree with Rosa about the substantial outfit - looks comfortable, practical, and stylish.

If we're talking about fashion I'll log on and get some screenies of Haa-Rei's wardrobe. We just dyed some outfits the other day.

Here we go:

Regular outfit, medium Pact style armour.

Cavalier of the Sworn Oath

Centurion Dress Armo(u)r

Imperial Guard Centurion Uniform

Treasure Hunter - Probably my favourite costume.

Valenwood Spinner

We use Automatron Bronze and Hunter Green dyes for everything. We like the subtle Dwemer colour the bronze gives to metal, and it gives non-metal a nice shade of brown. The Hunter Green is just a good shade of green. biggrin.gif

Wow, some great costumes, hazmick! And I love his color choices. smile.gif
