Snugpod looks a really cool place to live.
Renee
That must be fun, Acadian, having a place like that to live in. I can't decide between Snugpod and the Magic Snowglobe.

Lopov, that final shot with the Azura lady overlooking all that light is epic. And it looks like he's right near the Red Mountain in that one pic? Are there dust storms in ESO? I can't remember.

Lopov
@Acadian - Snugpod looks great, I assume that you (and Buffy) furnished it yourself? How many homes does Buffy own?

@Renee - correct, Shonta Quassan is currently on Vvardenfell and he's going to stay there for a while. There aren't any dust storms in ESO.

A bit too hot for Shonta's taste

Dwarven Bridge - the player behind stepped in just as I took a screenie. laugh.gif

Steam is going to kill you

Dwarven Opera

Aaand here's the very first pic from Shonta Quassan's game, taken somewhere in late 2018 or early 2019, I assume.
Acadian
SubRosa - Buffy really does enjoy her snug little pod. The majestic graht oaks of southern Valenwood actually create them when asked nicely. Lol. Here's a picture of Buffy's Snugpod from the outside. Straight out the pod's front door, you can see the stable. In the background is part of the trunk of the graht oak called Elden Root.

Renee - Buffy favors the Snugpod, as it is warmer and cozier than the snowglobe home.

Lopov - Buffy quite favors the small houses, so she has fully decorated Snugpod, Flaming Nix, Sugar Bowl Suite and Rosy Lion. She uses the free giant Psijic Palace in Arteum as a furniture warehouse. She owns some other free homes but doesn’t use (or decorate) them. She absolutely considers Elden Root and the Snugpod to be home though.

That lava looks hot all right!

The dwarven bridge looks imposing. And steam traps!

Oh, Buffy quite liked that poor Telvani mage who managed to mess up most anything he touched. laugh.gif

First pic – How appropriate, as the Prophet shows Shonta Quassan what he has to look forward (?!?) to.
Renee
Phew, my eyes hurt after looking straight into the really bright fog in the bridge picture. blink.gif Why is Dwarven Opera blurry?

Wow, I didn't know you started gaming ESO in 2018. But that's always good to have an early pic which you can say is 'the first'. smile.gif

Buffy's new fave music box is 'Dancing Among the Flowers Fine'. Here's what it sounds like: YouTubeAudio.

And here's Buffy in the Snugpod dancing to it: Screenshot.

Oh, I love the changes Buffy has made to her Snugpod! It looks gorgeous!

Aw, Buffy's Snugpod on the outside! She looks right at home in the greenery there; and I'll bet she stepped out to check on Superian in the stables! I never noticed, can you hear the horses whinnying from the outside of the Snugpod?
SubRosa
Wow, break out the hot dogs and marshmarrow for that first pic of Shonta's

Neat bridge with the figure silhouetted beyond

steam-powered!

Cool Dwarven music thing!
Lopov
@Acadian - Shonta also liked that Telvanni mage, which can't be said for the majority of Telvanni mages.

@Renee - the pic is blurry because of a loud sound effect that was unleashed as the Dwarven machine started to function again.

@SubRosa - Shonta likes exploring Dwarven ruins a lot, that's why his home also has a lot of dwarven amenities.

After saving Vvardenfell, Shonta Quassan visited his home to get some well-deserved rest...
SubRosa
Vvardenfell sure looks like its in danger from that Tunguska wannabe meteor!

Renee
I really like the flames coming off your argonina's staff. Argonian's staff, I meant to say. bluewizardsmile.gif

Looks like your lizard got pwned in the Malacath pic. sad.gif

That salamander really goes everywhere Shonta goes!

Acadian
Betrayal - well, that's what Barbicus Vile does. tongue.gif

Done with Vvardenfell it seems. Is Shonta resting in his ice globe?

After saving Vvardenfell, Shonta Quassan visited his home to get some well-deserved rest...

Nice home. I wonder, is a fireplace necessary when there's a salamander around?
Grits
Love the shot of Buffy dancing among the flowers and butterflies in her snug home. wub.gif

Ooo the Snow Globe! I was scratching my head over where Shonta made his home. It’s so pretty, and unfamiliar to me.

Good Bastian always helps.

Here’s Mark just trying to make a living.
Acadian
Bastion, sweep that rock! tongue.gif

Mark, I don't think I like your odds. . . . ohmy.gif
Lopov
@SubRosa - yeah, it was a pretty epic scene, as you step out of Vivec's Palace, the meteor actually moves closer and flames burst! ohmy.gif

@Renee - it's a scripted scene, your PC gets thrown on the floor as the traitor shows his true face.

Yep, Og'nyeni the Salamander is at Shonta Quassan's side all the time, you noticed it well. smile.gif

@Acadian - correct, that's the living room of his house inside the magical snowglobe. The house apparently looks exactly the same as the lighthouse in Anvil.

@macole - there's never enough of fire around Shonta Quassan. wink.gif Speaking of his home, by default it's pretty dark and we really needed to decorate it with lots of various lighting sources to make it bright enough for our tastes.

@Grits - Bastian makes the nature clean. tongue.gif Is that Jerric left of him? He looks really good! goodjob.gif

Living among runes!

Acadian
Aww, Buffy’s not the only one who waters her mount.
Wow, watch the skies and dungeoneering are wonderfully ominous and moody looking.
Hmm, methinks that purple glow on the sailboat is a warning. . . .
Sheo’s library!
Almaloinclothlexia!
Steampunk Village.
Shonta’s new style looks much better on him than it did on Mannimarco.
Viking – by Kynareth’s wings, that is aptly named!
Grits
"Having a drink" is adorable! Dungeoneer is my favorite, Shonta Quassan looks calm and confident in that scary cave. I love that you can see his faithful salamander behind him.
Lopov
@Acadian - a thirsty guar won't bring you far, so Shonta makes sure that his pet is satisfied with his owner. smile.gif

Nice that you recognized the painted outfit that used to belong to Mannimarco. goodjob.gif

@Grits - thanks! The flaming salamander makes sure that there's always light and warmth around Shonta, even when there aren't any light sources. Well, he doesn't glow all the time but in Having a drink he started glowing at a very appropriate time. Another good thing is that I see extremely rarely players that'd use this salamander as a companion, so it feels more unique.

The Hero and the God

After adventuring in the Clockwork City (and beyond), it was time to relax in his magical snowglobe
Acadian
A couple of beautiful shots from Alik'r. Looks like that's a wrap on Clockwork City. Funny, that skeleton - 'Hey, a salamander. I'll drink to that!'. And nice of mirocu to put in an appearance as the Duke of Crows. smile.gif
SubRosa
"Democracy is non-negotiable."

"Obstruction detected, composition: titanium alloy supplemented by photonic resonance barrier. Probability of mission hindrance: zero percent!"

That is a neat broken sword statue

That Skellie is having a good time

Lopov
@Acadian - yep, a wrap on the Clockwork City indeed. Not sure how often we'll be coming back to that zone. mellow.gif

@SubRosa - the skellie knows how to party even when dead. laugh.gif

"Hey there, white Egg-Sister."

Relaxing at home

Renee
No Lopov shot? laugh.gif

Really love the clothes and armor everyone's got on. Also that braided hair the lady's got in that one Summerset Isle pic. One of these days I hope soon to join Shonta again, with my Anita Greatsword. Or some other toon.. er.. character.

Acadian
What an interesting paint job on the scales of that Argonian!

Relaxing – looks like Shonta’s waving while sitting. How on Nirn did you capture that?

A wonderful shot of that Skyshard in the flowers – complete with butterfly!

Happy end. Buffy very much liked that Alchemy quest. You get to quest again with Alchemy in Blackwood. smile.gif

I think I recall the Academy of Illumination quest and enjoyed that one as well.

Looks like Shonta made it to the top of the Crystal Tower.
SubRosa
Egg Sister looks like she is made of crystal. Very cool.

Awwww, nice happy ending.

Creepy looks creepy.

The Academy of Illumination appears to be well-lit.

Lopov
@Renee - I also hope that you return one day so that we can continue adventuring. wink.gif

@Acadian - IIRC he automatically "enters" the waving pose while sitting on Vivec's Throne.

I'm looking forward to seeing Alchemy again, I didn't figure out her/his true identity during the quest.

The last pic was on the top of the Academy of the Illumination, we haven't made it to the Crystal Tower...yet. smile.gif

@SubRosa - that pearl white Argonian could also be a vampire, for all I know.

Yeah, the Academy definitely has a right name! laugh.gif

Relaxing

"Flip a coin, see what you get, it's Shonta Quassan, that's on the set..."

Enjoying the view

"Stop arguing, you two!"

Beauties of Summerset

Misty garden

Direnni ruins

Schimmerheim

Acadian
Great shot posing Shonta Quassan for that coin tossing pic. Even catching the coin in middair!

There sure is a lot that is pretty to see in Summersett. smile.gif
SubRosa
Some great views of Summerset

It is cool that you can see the coin in the air

The Direnni Ruins reminds me of the place you discover Serana

Lopov
@Acadian - sometimes I play a pose on Shonta just for the sake of taking a screenie but sometimes I also do it, if I make a short pause while gaming.

@SubRosa - now that you mentioned it, I also find the ruin similar!

"My flaming friend, that one looks like it could be your relative!"

"Master, that was actually...my mother-in-law."

Artaeum

Artaeum II

Visions of the past

Absorbing the skyshard

"I wouldn't want to fight against that guy..."

"This one is dressed like you, just in different colors."

Acadian
The question remaining when it comes to that big dead salamander is, does the little guy like his mother-in-law or not? tongue.gif

Artaeum certainly did some magical things with their skies - beautiful.

That looks like a flashback of Mannimarco and Vanus Galerion back when both were in the Psijic Order.
SubRosa
That is a much bigger Salamander!

Very cool Sun effect in Artaeum

Like Acadian said, that is a cool vision of Manny and Vannie from the old days

The Absorbing pic has me thinking of this

Renee
Gosh, I've missed a bunch of these. unsure.gif Schimmerheim .... it looks so Austrian. When I see a pic like this I get all amazed. But for you Lopov, are you more like "meh"? Because you see sites like this every day in Europe?

It looks like Shonta is walking on water in the Beauties pic.

Waho, it's a giant salamander!

Shonta is not afraid of heights. indifferent.gif I can see this too. When we went into lairs together, I remember my characters were very skittish at times, whereas your argonina .. I mean Argonian, would walk right in and seemed to be more fearless.

I think Nocturnal is cool. ph34r.gif She's a daedra, and she does get involved with some devious stuff. But she's also not all bad. Several of my characters have exalted or even worshipped her.

Yikes ! (at the giant Nocturnal)
Acadian
Wow, the shot of Alinor Palace is beautiful.

‘Landing’ reminds me of some of your other shots that rival the famous ‘Lopov shot’. That is where you feature some critter (like Abiene’s bunny or this other player’s crow) prominently in the foreground. Very neat style.

It’s interesting how our impression of Daedric Princes changes from game to game. Renee’s assessment of Nocturnal is one I’d agree with from Oblivion but in ESO she manifests much more malevolence (as well as revealing attire, lol).
SubRosa
The Alinor Palace reminds me of some grand Spanish churches, with those really ornate facades.

Leaping Lizards!

Those Daedric Realms sure look creepy.

That guy reminds me of Firelord Zuko.

Lopov
I agree, Nocturnal is completely different in ESO compared to other TES games. But her attire, as Acadian points out, is worth a look or two. wink.gif

The Liberator of Sunhold

"Can you please remove that Khajiit from my throne, Shonta Quassan?"

"Why would I? This Khajiit is a friend of mine!"

Until next time

And with this batch of screenies is my ESO season 2021 officially over.
SubRosa
Cool picture of Sunhold with the moon over it.

Shonta is hanging out in the throne room

Bye Shonta!
Acadian
Darn cat is gonna leave fur all over my throne! tongue.gif

I hope Shonta enjoys a brief rest while you play in the 4th Era and that he quickly rejoins us in the 2nd Era.
PhonAntiPhon
Well here's some shots of Sa'cheena, newly-arrived in Seyda Neen and already embroiled in local politics.
She just can't help herself, although doesn't mean a girl can't get in some sightseeing in between getting into (and out of) trouble... biggrin.gif

Lopov: Aw, sorry we missed our chance to engage in some adventures with your scaly lizard. Nice Lopov shot at the very end, too. goodjob.gif

Phon: Nice, you are doing ESO now too. What platform? Nintendo Switch? If it's PC maybe someday soon my character can meet you, but I think you are Nintendo. Khajiiti really have come a long way. In Arena they basically looked like goofy humans, but with each new edition they appear more and more slick & sly as they should.

Hey, sorry just saw this - I know they look really cool now!
I'm on PS4 for TESO so I don't know if that helps...?

A few more from Khajiit's nascent adventures in Vvardenfell...

Striking a heroic pose

Moody night shot

An encounter with The Judge outside Suran

Sunset at the Suran Portal

Suran's scenic outskirts...

Nice scenic shots, and your Khajiit seems to be fairing well. Cherish that first shot - a truly blue sky in Vvardenfel is a rarity. goodjob.gif

You absolutely have that right, you don't see many blue skies!
It's actually my wallpaper...

I created a new character on EU, just to wear the new Battle Bra. I made her a dark Dark Elf for the colour contrast I was aiming for, and called her Miranu Hlaalu, after Falanu’s cousin in my Gweden story.

I'm worried that she's living up to her name.
