Speaking of Star Trek I've finally understand why some fans hated ST: Discovery. The show takes diversity and cranks it to 11, everyone cries at a drop of a hat and honestly after season 2 or 4 the show should have come to an end.
Strange New Worlds is probably still the better of the new Trek shows and would love to see more of it.

Nothing new to report on my end. Watching Picard is tricky because Paramount+ skip intro feature skips to much when going to the next episode. Still it's not a bad show, feels like mini-movies in every episode.

Thanks, I like how the new classic Enterprise is just about the same size as the refit, it gives you an idea on how the old girl got refitted.

Let's see the Federation would have had to:
Refit or replace the entire primary hull (saucer section and neck) as the original one had the torpedo and phaser bays on the saucer.
The Torpedo Bay gets moved to the connecting part of the star drive (secondary hull).
The Main deflector dish is replaced and upgraded.
and the Nacelles also get replaced.
Yep the old girl defiantly underwent a huge refit in both exterior and interior.

The Enterprise by a long shot. Federation shields are really strong and ISD's has several weak points that can either cripple it or downright destroy it.
