Do you find yourself getting jittery with heights, Rosa? I used to get serious chills back in my Tomb Raider days (2000-2007ish). By the time Bjorn jumped off Valtheim Towers though I'm much more used to heights-in-videogames. Still afraid of heights in real-life though.

I sometimes get vertigo with high places in games. Mostly when I purposely jump off of them and look straight down to see the ground rushing up.

It is good to hear Lopov has a steady gig. I hope he is not building a cyborg to enforce his plan for global domination!

Of all your toons, KF has what I'd call a superhero outfit. She looks most like a comic book character. Hecate and most of the others tend to wear black. They're dressed more like secret agents. KF definitely has that fantasy thing going, though.

Acadian: I always look for those dark places when I have a character with glowing eyes. Some of Persephone's best pics come from those kinds of places.


Renee: I always kind of thought that Killer Frost had one of the more ordinary outfits. It is just a vault suit with the game's standard combat armor. Though I can see what you mean about Hecate being in all black, and looking more like a spy.

Weird job! I have a new job, yes, it makes me happier but overall it takes more time and requires me to drive around more whereas before I was more or less working on a fixed location. Anyway, I see I have a lot to catch up indeed but for now I won't be providing any new shots on my part.

The robot remains in Light and Dark are from a bunch of The Mechanist's robots. They are from your first encounter with them, and there is a horde of them, including a big tank-bot

Frost did not have a ticket. They do have subway tokens in Fallout 4, but the robots never check for them. I was disappointed with that. In FO3 they would actually take your ticket.

The cryolator (the gun she was using the Iced Out pic) is one seriously powerful weapon. It ices out pretty much everything in just a few frosty chuffs.

Interesting, I just met someone named Victoria a couple days ago. And yeah, now we have SubRosa Victoria and Khajiit Victoria.

Drives me nuts that there is no use for subway tokens.

Acadian: The Pre-War world they portray in the intro is all very idyllic. Though in reality it was not quite a Leave It To Beaver picnic. The war really did not change people's behavior. It just revealed it.


Kane: I love the quality of the textures in that mod. It makes the vault suits worth wearing.


TheCheshireKhajiit: I had almost forgot about Raider Victoria! Too bad you cannot make her a vampire and play her in VtM.


Renee: In FO3 the Subway Protectrons will sometimes be heard saying "Ticket's please". If you have a ticket and stand still near them for a few moments, they will take your ticket, and thank you for riding the Metro system. There is no special animation for it. But the ticket does vanish from your inventory.

What a priceless look on Victoria’s face in Minutemen.

So she puts on her heavy old rusty deathclaw fightin’ armor and goes to work. Eeep! Never thought about the dangerous implications of getting knocked down in that heavy armor. Somehow she manage to reattain her footing and prevail though.

I see that neck seams are no longer as problematic as they could be in previous two Fallouts.

TheCheshireKhajiit: I might be able to adapt one of those vampire mods to Loviatar, if I ever get back to her.


Acadian: The expressions in F4 are improved from the previous games. That was a lucky catch to get her look of consternation.

The Deathclaws in F4 will literally grab your character, lift you up in the air, and throw you to the ground. A lot more scary than in the previous games.


Lopov: I never realized you could change your prewar outfit, but it is actually pretty simple with the console. You can use the Help system to get the names and IDs of other clothes, and then you just have to use the EquipItem command to make your (or any other) character wear it.

The whole head and body color mismatches seem to be fixed in Fallout 4. At least I never really noticed neckseams, which can be pretty glaring in the other games.

It would be great to have a Deathclaw Guard!

Acadian: Victoria required several restarts to get her face right, as well as trips back to the LooksMirror. I am glad she finally turned out ok.

Victoria is not exactly a stringy Bosmer, but she certainly appreciates the compliment!

Nice series! Khajiit LOVES the skeletons! Some other good ones are the ones in the Concord speakeasy. There’s the delightful scene of the boys enjoying a night of booze and cigars downstairs, but then you go upstairs and things get... strange.

Wonderful shots of Victoria. The fire one is just epic. Apocalypse - "Hey, Martha, what's that bright glow on the horizo-"

Love the color contrast going on in "Another rainy Night." What is that, radioactive waste? Loviatar's probably bathing in there!

Ha ha, those two folks in their lawn chairs were too drunk to realize what was going on, perhaps!

What is she swimming in (not safe to go back in the water)? She really seems to like collecting +rads, huh?

TheCheshireKhajiit: I love the bathroom upstairs in the speakesy, with all the mannequins armed with toilet plungers and machetes.


Acadian: When I saw how that Mirelurk was burning, I knew I had to get a picture of the flames.

Bethesda does a lot of fun stuff with pre-war skeletons like those, and teddy bears. I love the room with the skeleton having a tea party with a teddy bear, and I think I moon monkey and a giddyup buttercup.


Renee: That is a pool of radioactive muck. You find them in some places, all glowing like that. Great spas for Loviatar!

Victoria was crouched down on a submerged stairway in that water pic. That is in a water treatment plant, of all places! Though it has certainly seen better days.

Aww, so nice that Hecate is really connecting with you in FO. She is very neat and I love her 'bookishly deadly' look. And her new armor looks great!

TheCheshireKhajiit: Her new outfit is all vanilla, sort of at least. It is the vanilla BOS Officer Armor, with Light Combat Armor over it. I use a mod to make the combat armor black, and add the crossed swords logo on the breastplate is all.


Acadian: It just isn't Fallout without Hecate.

Yeah the lamps on those helmets actually take place of the Piplight so you’ve got a focused beam rather than a radius of light. It’s neat!

TheCheshireKhajiit: All of my character's names are from legend, myth, or religion. Except for Fallout characters like Annie Ley Oak or Lonesome Dove, where I try to be a bit more appropriate to the world. Hecate is of course named after the Greek titan (she is older than the Olympian gods). She was known as "The Far Darter" because of her ability to slay with magic over great distances. PGM even named a pair of sniper rifles after her (The Hecate II is the Anti-Material Rifle in Fallout New Vegas in fact). So when I was looking for a name for a sniper Hecate was the winner. Because of the her namesake, I gave her black hair so she would have a Greek look. I usually try to give her a olive skin tone, but I cannot get that to look right in Fallout 4. It looked better in FO3 and NV.

She might wear black, but she's not a member of the SS! Hecate is one of the good guys!


Acadian: She was trying to get into Vault 81 (the still working Vault) in the caving pic. That was a surprise to find that there were still people living in a Vault look. It is a pretty rare thing in the Fallout games. Most of the Vaults were wiped out by Vault-Tec's social experiments, which were really horrific at times.


Renee: That is a miner's helmet. I have not gotten a good-looking night-vision working in Fallout 4 yet, so that is my standby for dark places.

Based on the first picture, I was going to say it looked kind of cozy, with the teddy bears and nice little touches. Then the other pics showed that it really is quite a large place. Nice digs!

TheCheshireKhajiit: The Sole Survivor? Why yes, both Hecate's feet have survived...

But no, I am using Start Me Up with Hecate. She is not the main quest character of Fallout 4. Her official story was Fallout 3.


Acadian: Homeplate is like a loft apartment. It is basically one big L-shaped room, with a couple small loft areas over the small part of the L. It is centrally located on the map, and because it is smaller than the other settlements, makes for a relatively easy place to set up a home.


Kane: This time out I started Hecate out in the middle of the map, just outside of Vault 81. I was going to try using Vault 81 for a home, but I don't like how the vanilla room they give you looks. I tried using an Eli mod, but it had issues with some of the vanilla furniture persisting and clipping through the stuff she added. So it looked wrong. I have never liked Hangman's Alley much, and I just used Eli's Outfield RV home in my last Hecate playthrough. So I went with Homeplate, and decided to try decorating different from I ever did before.

One of the neat things about F4 is that you can shoot parts off of some creatures, like robots and feral ghouls, and they still keep on going. That one Robbie had its head shot off by Raiders, but he still had his electronic brains intact.

That is an elevated train in that one pic. It runs along the bottom of an elevated highway. Or at least it did. If you have a jetpack you can leap out and fly to the rooftops below, or the road above.

Darryl the ghoul is giving me ideas. I might have to create him as a companion for Persephone.
