It's the Synth Uniform turned black with the UCO. I also rely on mods for the Institute weapon, lol. Laser Weapons 1st Person Reposition.

Dumb question: why would anyone who uses laser weapons wear black? It's the worst case for laser defence. (And why Star Wars Troopers wear white).

Well, in-universe, my black synth uniform has Ballistic Weave Mk IV and has 90 energy resistance.

Well there are characters in Star Wars that wear black. Vader, Palps, RotJ Luke, Deathtroopers from Rogue One. Perhaps because black absorbs the laser blast, it actually has some defensive properties? Like Kevlar absorbs the impact of a bullet.

There is a mod out there that res positions the Institute weapons in 1st person, so that they don't block half the screen. I highly recommend it if you are going to be using the Insty Rifle.

Hey SubRosa, this may sound like a dumb question but how do I find that cemetary file you posted? When I click it, it just brings me to my personal box.

I am not sure what is going on. When I click on the link, it brings up the file. I just have to mouse over it and wait a moment for the Download button to appear. Try this, I recreated the link.

If it is going to a box that asks you to sign in. You can close that with the X on the upper right of the sign in box. Then you will see the link behind it.

Works fine... except Khajiit's top hat mod interferes with it. We added a top hat to the foot of the coffin that stands upright in the "Raider Mausoleum" and it put some of the crates and what not that were in there before you added the settlement stuff. Doh!

SubRosa, Khajiit hopes you don't mind but he made a few alterations to your Wildwood Settlement mod (this one will not try to upload it anywhere). First he moved the workbench to the side of the ruined house. Then he moved the buildable area back to include said house. So, now the workshop area includes the house, the "Raider Mausoleum" and the first mausoleum up on the hill. Khajiit also deleted the useless powerlines that connected to the chimney of the ruined house so that they wouldn't look weird with any future building projects on the house's site. One minor annoyance is that you can't have the green border that tells you where "out of bounds" is unless you use one of the pre-existing ones for the other settlements or know how to make a custom one (if using a pre-existing one, it looks wonky because it was tailored to a different topography). All in all, Khajiit is quite pleased!

A Little Touch of Green, Verdant Wasteland, WET, and Vivid Fallout (all in one).

That's pretty cool. I left as much untouched as I could, so that it could be customizable through the workbench instead. I never thought to use the house nearby.

Ok gotcha. Khajiit was thinking about getting some kind of greenery mod. Will look into those!


Watched a vid on how to set up Settlements in the CK so now Khajiit knows how to do it himself too.

If you have the right mods, you can completely remove that ruined house and use the space for whatever else as well as get rid of all the debris and cars on the grounds!

This one has a pic for you folks: Khajiit's first DIY item recolor!
Khajiit never liked the colors of Piper's coat and scarf, so he decided to make it his first project. Will probably go back in at some point and add some dark red color to the scarf. Or perhaps some white.

Once Khajiit learns a bit more about the modding process, he wants to replace the base colors for her coat and make new clothing pieces with the alternative color scheme.

Thanks! Khajiit thought it turned out quite nice. The original seems a bit "clownish" (in Khajiit's opinion) with the pinkish red coat and green striped scarf. This recolor classes the outfit up a bit (also in Khajiit's opinion)!

How were they compared to prior games? I've only played 4, and I don't mind them too much. I could do without them destroying the RR, but other than that....Liberty Prime is fun!

Acadian: She had red eyes in the previous games. But this is the first game where I found glowing eyes for her. So now they really stand out above her mask.

I use a mod to prevent energy weapons from creating ash piles from corpses. So her rifle does indeed serve up a spicy hot meal.

Oh you can eat ghouls too? Can't remember now if that's possible in FO3.

In Fallout3 and New Vegas the "Cannibal" perk allows your character to eat normal humans and non feral ghouls. Also in New Vegas if you had taken the "Cannibal" perk, you get the option to get the "Ghastly Scavenger" perk which allows you to eat feral ghouls and other creatures.

Her pip girl shows she's a well-fed cannibal. . . but her rad bath shows that she somehow quite manages to maintain her girlish figure.

I like how it says 42 Corpses Eaten, but then at some point she made sure to collect a Bobblehead also. She is one of our only characters who will NEVER need Rad-X or RadAway. Perma-zero stats for both of those.
