No, different ones. Like the Dark Seducer, Golden Saint, the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild ones - the Wrothgar bear head ones, etc. The goblin and skeleton morphs, etc - those are all quest rewards.

The disguises for quest rewards are the ones you are supposed to put on to blend in with enemies - there are a large number of these in quests throughout the game. Every time I come across one, I put a copy of it in the bank and pick up another one, because when the quest is over they won't be available anymore. When you are doing the quest, if any enemy spots you and sees through your disguise, the disguise disappears - but after the quest is over you can wear that disguise indefinitely (if you have managed to smuggle one to your bank), and some of them are very cute.
Oh ok, gotcha. Khajiit has only come across three disguises: a Bleakrock bandit outfit, an Indoril Vanguard outfit, and a Marine outfit from the Dominion (Feng's alliance quests). He destroyed them all, but then he didn't like them very much anyway.

Yes, that Bleakrock one is really cute looking. Misa wore it to cover up her miss-matched armor for her first 26 levels while she picked up anything that was better than what she had on.

Hmmm, this one bets there will be some cool looking ones in Nordland when Mira is up there doing the pact quests!

Should've known that others have done it.

It's particularly painful if you're both an alt-aholic AND a hoarder. I only have one character slot left open, and I had to buy it. One is used up by a replay of Eolan, while the other three are specific pack mules (Armor Sets, Backup Motifs and Recipes, and Holiday Event Storage, pictured above)

I have problems, okay?

Yes, I've got 6 characters and technically 5 of them are bank mules = holding inventory. With their horses fed to capacity and all the backpack upgrades they each hold 200 items.

I took the highest functioning mule (Bubba) out during the Witches Festival and got every skyshard I could; then respec'd him into a crafter, hoping to free up some points on my main Player character. (Misa)

But there are two of them I have slotted for higher things later on = Calia and Mia. Because I plan to use them one day, I have been grooming them to be Player characters = they do Writs, have mastered all the crafting disciplines, and I have brought them out to gather skyshards/given them some combat skills; etc.

One day Misa may have done everything there is to do and I might want to start from the beginning again or play through another Alliance - I'll use one of them then. In the meantime, they are holding all my junk.

You have to organize your inventory if you use Mules, it is the only way to know where everything is quickly if needed:

My crafter holds all the Runestones not needed for Writs plus the rare style stones.

One mule holds all the Provisioning; another holds the Alchemy ingredients and anything to be sold at the Guild Store.

The two flat-out mules hold armor and weapon sets that I want to hang onto. (those are two characters who will never be played; and would have been deleted if I didn't need the 200 slot inventory space per each).

(the bank holds any mats or cooked provisions needed for writs; plus any items being transferred or shared between characters).

New questions:
Do all of the class specific abilities cost magicka to use? If so, is it stupid to take these abilities if your focus is stamina or health?

Each one tells you if it is stamina based or magicka based; it is written in the skill description along with how much of (whichever it is) the spell will cost you.

Hmmm, well looking at the UESP, the only class abilities that don't use magicka are the "Ultimates".
Acadian
For a small number of the abilities, one of the morphs converts the ability to a stamina ability.

For a select number of other abilities, the effect of being fueled by magicika is not that important. For example, if an ability teleports you forward 30m, then it doesn't make any diff in effectiveness whether you have a small or big magicka pool except that it will just cost a larger chunk of your blue bar to cast.

You are right though to carefully consider. Stam characters have loads of options with weapon abilities (less staves) but magicka characters have more freedom with class abilities.

What class is it? And also; with some abilities you can choose a stamina upgrade when/if you morph them.

Ok so for instance:
The Redguard character this one made was supposed to be a throw-away "hold all my extra stuff" character. She is a Redguard Dragonknight that dual wields swords and also makes use of Ardent Flame magical attacks. Well, after going through Coldharbour with her, this one feels like this character is better than just a throw-away and has pretty good potential. We already put the few attribute points we earned for her into stamina, not Magicka, but you think she doesn't necessarily need any attributes put into magicka?

Most class abilities do use magicka (some can be morphed into stam abilities), which is designed to balance them out against powerful weapon skills (bows and melee weapons all use stam).

If you focus on stam and health, you'll find that you'll be running out of magicka a lot at higher levels if you have lots of class abilities slotted. Then again, focusing on magicka will make your class abilities stronger but your non-staff weapons will be weaker. It's up to you how you play, but I'd recommend just experimenting until you're happy.

Haa-Rei, for example, is a stamina-based sorcerer (all attributes in stamina). He uses bow skills (stam) in combat and uses armour skills (stam) and stamina morphs of some spells as buffs. He does use a couple of magicka skills, but they're not combat skills so I don't cast them often, and he could survive without them if his magicka ran out.

Here - look at this page. In the column named "Cost," it shows how much it costs and whether it is Stamina, Magicka, or Ultimate.

In the left column it has the names of the skills and each's morphs; so you can see which ones morph to Stamina, etc.

I haven't got much unwanted stuff - Haa-Rei stopped doing those quests after we got the towel.

Every guild store in the world seems to be full of skinchanger motifs going for less than 1000 gold.

Yeah we've got 5 or 6 rune-boxes between Mira and Feng. This one is thinking they might bring much gold a little later on. We may end up giving away the extra Skinchanger chapters and recipes
Acadian
I have a moderate amount of 'party favors' and a few motifs and recipes. The only spare runebox I have is a towel.

If anyone is looking for anything I might have, let me know. Otherwise, I'll probably dump everything but the towel in a week or so. The towel is free to a good home - I don't really want destroy it or sell it to an NPC vender like the other junk.

Did everyone get the Rune Boxes that they want? Jerric is holding on to an extra of each in case someone here missed one or in case someone joins after the festival and can't get them. He got mostly fur hoods in his gift boxes and swapped with other people to get an assortment. I was amazed. He is not much of a trader/shopper, but he was motivated by the thought of a future friend going hoodless, pouchless, or towel-less.

He has a few motif chapters and recipes, send him a note if you're missing any. Funnily enough he and Elke are both short only the gold fish recipe from being named Magnanimous, while in the PS4 world he and Aninah both got everything plus two extra fish recipes. laugh.gif

Acadian, Jerric loves the party favors almost as much as drinking that ale that makes you belch. He would be delighted to have any that you were going to dump. They might sell for something in the guild stores, though, maybe someone has the add-on that lets you check prices. I haven't tried to sell any of those, because Jerric. tongue.gif

Khajiit is good on everything holiday related. Mira and Feng are both masters of the Skinchanger style, we've got a Towel and both hoods, with extras of all to boot. Mira is even able to cook all of the holiday dishes and brew the drinks if she so chooses. The only thing we didn't get was the title for doing all the achievements, but honestly we didn't care much about it.

People who want the achievement and only lack a certain motif or recipe are likely to still buy them just to get the achievement. (People like me, who bought the last recipe I needed)

Even if they sell for just 150 each, that still adds up when you have numerous ones to sell. I have a stack of the hats and mudball pouches just eating up slots in my inventory. I'd rather drop the price and get them out of there than hold onto them to get a higher price later on (or clog up my guild store shelves with them hoping to get a high price).

With the Hollowjack stuff - I finally ended up selling it to Merchant NPC's rather than keep holding it and trying to sell it - the market was too flooded with the stuff. I'm still trying to unload those darn masks, they've sat 30 days on the shelves already, and I just pulled them off/dropped the price again.

I just finally got another Towel dress the last day of the New Life (January 3) and gave it and a hat away to a lady I've been playing with for two years - she had surgery just before New Life started and missed out on getting any of the New Life fun.

A guy I play with paid 30,000 twice for that Fish-Eye recipe! (not from me, I only got 4 of them and kept them all).

By the end of the festival, Misa, Calia, Mia, and Bubba all got ALL the achievements for the Festival, so I was pretty tickled by that! (the other two girls are just bank mules and don't leave the city they are home-based in for anything - did not participate in the festival).

If you mean the blues, then yeah, that's more or less what they go for. The purples are another story. (The gold Imperial motif means you're struck actual gold, unless you want to keep it for yourself.)

Anyways, I decided to spend most of the Crafting Monkey's gold to buy Style stones. That the base motif stones aren't being sold is worrying, not only because I use them for writs, but because it looks like furniture crafting will use a lot of them and they might become more expensive down the road.

Then again, most of that gold went to buying Stalhrim because I'm a dirty consumerist and bought the Frostcaster motif at the last second. ~5.5k for a single piece of Stalhrim right now (well, the price tends to be 6k, but I always go for a little lower). At least I'm not paying real money for Mimic Stones? The Crafting Monkey's gold comes entirely from writs and material sales, and this is exactly what it's meant for anyways. I just need to find a good supply of Goldscale and I'll be set. Dunno if I want to spare my Lion Fangs should Master Writs ask for that style, though.

Other than that, I'm holding onto my tempers, too, and I guess I'll have to stop offering improvement up to blue for free should anyone ask for crafted gear.

I'll need EVERYTHING ready once housing comes.

Not in guild stores, at least not in the main hub cities. People probably already snatched them up but this is bad news for me because I'm currently at around 70 for all nine of them. I really don't want to buy them from NPC vendors when they can be bought for like 3 gold a pop.

I've been hoarding mine too, but my crafter just hit level 50; which boosted him up to CH 355 = meaning his enemies will be CH 355; and he was wearing level 44 armor. So I ended up wasting up all my Elegant Lining tempers and at least 10 Kutas. (I did hear that some of the furniture requires Kutas in their "recipe," and I've been having to sell mine to buy the house, urk!)

From the sounds of it, unless we buy our house furnished and slowly replace the pieces as we find "plans" and mats = may end up living in an empty house a LONG time, laugh.gif

I think that until Homestead shakes out there will be a heightened level of hoarding. laugh.gif

Ditto this, lol.

Being that Khajiit didn't know about the guild stores being for everyone, he had always bought the ones for 15g from NPCs. Silly Khajiit!

So when is the next festival? Spring?

You can usually find them in Dwemer ruins and backpacks. Let no container go unopened, lol.

Khajiit has been meaning to take Mira into the Inner Sea Armature. Where do you get the metal for dwarven level gear? You get it from Dwemer constructs, right?

Yes, and most def visit the Inner Sea Armiture - and often. You may get overloaded with lockpicks, but you will also get a bunch of the Dwarven gear for crafting, racial motifs, rare motifs like Daedric/Dwemer/etc, - Recipes; and tons of racial stones, gold, food for crafting or sale, and plenty of items good for using for researching traits if you do that (or just using if you use the throwaway drop items for certain characters).

I make a trip to the Inner Sea Armiture once daily for stocking up on supplies; but mostly for the rare motifs and recipes.

Well, it used to be a starter dungeon, but since One Tamriel everything is scaled to your character.

There is a skyshard in there (lure, lure). Also, if you are in the Mages Guild for Ebonheart = a quest.
