Andy is indeed an adorable Alfiq! But Khajiit is correct, in that his sleeping in the litter box is a bad sign. That is what cats do when they are depressed or stressed out. You will see cats in shelters doing it all the time.

Oh, the little monster was not so much sleeping in the litter box as... lounging. Apparently because the Mrs. had just cleaned it and added fresh sand.

Since then he has been sleeping in- the chair, the crate, his toilet paper nest....

He also managed to tuck one of his toy mice into the empty paper roll for safe-keeping.

Also, he believes in staying clean

Oh good, glad to hear that he’s not actually sleeping in the LB! He’s really cute!

So, a week ago Friday, I was in the parking lot at work, waiting to head out to install some equipment. Heard a vehicle start up over near the nail salon, but didn't think much of it... until I heard "mew, mew, MEW!" and saw something go wobbling under a parked car.

Meet Andy, 1.92 lbs. of purr, tiny kitten claws, and attitude. In the week we have had him he has- used my legs as climbing/scratching posts, unrolled and made a nest out of toilet paper, learned to knock his toy mice out from under the door of his quarantine room, eaten enough for 12 kitties..., and caused us a great deal of laughter. Example- this morning I went in to the kitten room. He has- a crate, with soft towel; a basket, with old t-shirt; a cardboard box, also with t-shirt padding; a rug; a chair with cushion. So naturally, he was sleeping... in his LITTER box.

OMG, how Adorable!!! Andy sounds absolutely perfect entertainment, lol. How in the world does a kitten that small get into a business zone parking lot? So glad Andy found you!

Aw, he is so tiny! Do you "drip the faucet" for him for entertaining (for him) drinking?

I had a cat a long time ago that used to love sleeping in the bathroom sink! I don't know why, or what the draw was - but he didn't appreciate your need to wash your hands if he was napping in there = I'd have to go find another sink - he wouldn't take a hint and get out; lol.

laugh.gif I wouldn't dare do that; cats have their own methods of getting "revenge" = I prefer to stay on their good side, lol.

rollinglaugh.gif As the picture proves! I can see the drops of water in the sink! And Spots has his foot almost IN the garbage disposal!

And yeah; Goku didn't care if the sink was damp or not either when he climbed in to lay down; but ... I still wouldn't turn the faucet on while he was in there, lol. He HATED his baths; but I always wondered if that was his way of asking for a bath, lol.

Losing a pet is always hard. That's why I treasure the least loved of my own cats. I say "least loved" not because I don't love him as much as I loved the others, but because he required the least in affectionate demonstrations from my mother and I. I woke up one day and realized this boy is now an old man, and that he has lived longer than my other cats. None of them had lived past 12, he is now 16. And he is also disgustingly healthy, despite a health scare a few years ago.

Aw, what a sweet story about your old cat! Hope he keeps hanging in there to break some records on cat longevity!!!

D'aaaaaw !!!!! What an adorable little baby!!!!

Dark Reaper
Thanks. So far she's not a problem on nail trimming (thank the Divines) and seems to know to go to the door to go potty (yay I don't have to do to much in potty training). She's going to be a good addition to the family, my other dogs don't seem to mind her to much.

Well some good news and bad news.
Good News: I got a new Boston Terrier named Fathom. don't know why her last owners called her that but okay :/.

And now the really bad news: Fathom came from people who ran a puppy mill that I didn't know about and mostly used her for breeding and probably had VERY, VERY little contact with other people and has been in a cage most of her life. NEVER get a dog from a puppy mill EVER and if you suspect someone running one, call the authorities.

Now some more good news: I've been working my magic with her trying to basically rehabilitate her and mostly been hand feeding her dog food and giving her water through a syringe as she seems she can't drink out of a bowl like a normal dog can. Also her and my dog....BROOOOOSIE...get along very well and I think Fathom is watching Rosie on how to dog. Fathom will eventually get better but it's going to take some time to crack that shell.

Aw, she is adorable all curled up in her sweater! I am so glad you rescued her; and really hope you are able to reach back through her years of mistreatment and give her a happier life.

Not sure if this will help you or not; but here is an article written by a vet who rescues puppy mill pets. I'll post it just in case it is any help at all:

Thankfully Fathoms only a couple of years old and is slowly improving everyday. She's in excellent hands and though she might not have that Boston Terrier zaniness, she's still a beautiful and loving dog happy.gif .
