The only reason I keep that old CRT is for Freya. I stopped using it about a year ago because it is slowly dying (even at max brightness, it is really dim). But it is one of her Favoritest Places In The World, so I cannot get rid of it.

What a lucky cat... bags to play with and a CRT to lie on. No wonder she looks so happy.

@ Minque - your cats (and house) are beautiful !! Nice woodsy setting! I love the furniture they make for cats, the shelves - some have little houses lined in carpet that the cat can go inside too - whoever thought those up deserves to be a millionaire.

That's not even all of them! There's also Larry, another of my brothers' cats and Muzette, the mother of the white ones, which is my mom's cat. We have a bit of a cat farm going

Thats how he got his name. That and he's kinda slow...not the brightest animal we've had but one of the friendliest. He's a good buddy to have around.

Oreo is my favorite, my uncle had a camping trailer and he moved it from where it was. Turns out there were a bunch of tiny kittens in there and the mother couldn't find them...their eyes weren't even open yet so they were less than two weeks old. I bottle fed I think six tiny kittens every few hours for several weeks until they were old enough to eat solid food. It was difficult to keep that many kittens fed since every few hours I had to wake up and feed them, by the time I got them all fed I barely had time to sleep between feedings. In the end all of them made it and turned out healthy, I gave all but one away to good owners and kept my favorite, Oreo.

These are my two buddies. They came into my life almost 10 years ago as sibling kittens from a rescue shelter. Frodo is the big one and Bilbo is in the sink.

ive got some pretty unique pets! an albino rabbit called edward, an african gray parrot called gino, two rats snow and lightning, a guinnie pig called martin, and were getting a staffordshire bull terrier. me and my girlfriend are fighting over its name though.ill try to get some pics of them all!

wow thats a hairy cat!

I lost the wire to link the camera to a computer, but currently Im working on a way to send it to multiple devices, so just give me a few days

Oh, all your pets are so cute. I love all of them, but I have to admit, the cat ones are my favorite. I'm a sucker for cats... I used to have a lot of pets, when i lived on a farm, but currently I only have one cat, because we're renting and are only allowed up to two cats, no dogs allowed, and we have to pay an extra fee per cat each month... Yeah, we're moving out as soon as possible, because I want more pets!

SubRosa--Freya is such a good, helpful kitty! Emmy just lays on the sofa when we unpack our groceries, lol. However, she does like helping me write, just like Freya helps you, lol. She also tries to help me read from time to time, or if I'm writing in a notebook, she'll help with that, too.

Rick--I love that your cats' names are from TLoR. Awesomeness.

Jacki--I love your black cat--reminds me of my old Bear... (Emmy likes to take over the pc chair, too, lol.)



Such a cute video with a great message, Minque. (And, btw, your cat is beautiful. She reminds me of my cat, Babette, now gone. My 6 year old kitty, Emmy, got spayed in her first year, and I'm so glad I got her fixed because her poor mother had so many litters that her health failed. We were on a farm then, and it's very hard to get cats fixed when you're overrun with them on a farm. I was able to get Emmy spayed only because I had a job and saved money to get her and my black cat, Bear, fixed. I don't have Bear anymore, and the pics of him aren't on my laptop.... But, here's my Emmy:

Emmy keeps herself well-groomed, but will "paws" long enough to let me take a pic. (I know, that was slightly cheesy, but I couldn't help myself...)

Funny thing--when she went to the vet to get fixed, apparently they had never seen a tortoiseshell colored cat, and they thought it was "weird". And in her file, under color, they put: "None." I find it "weird" that they were so surprised by her look, and I love her colors. Her kitty-mama was the same coloring (I'm her human-mama)... It's nice to find so many apparent cat people here, too!

Emmy is adorable! And how lucky you are that she 'helps' you with so many things!

I'm glad you liked my little neuter-spay video! I'm voluntarily working at the local cat-shelter in my town and I really think ppl should castrate their cats! there are so many unwanted ones...Just now I'm in love with a small tourtioseshell kitty-girl named Tina, she's living at te shelter and I so much wish to take her home. Now Indra wouldn'at aprove of course! Bastian on the other hand would love her!

Indra will be one year 26 of may. She already weighs almost 5kg! So yeah! She's kinda big....and will be much bigger. She resembles her dad a huge Norwegian..yes a NFO from Norway...and she will probably be around 7-8 kg when she's fully grown up

@ Minque - Indra is almost all grown up to cat now, isn't she? (Oh, I just saw below you said May 26 she will be one) - I remember your first pics of her !!! She still has a kittenish face though - gorgeous! Did you have that taken at a photographers or did you do that? I need pics of my puppy, and can't find any place that will take them.
