Hi,
This is my first post here. Since at least 2012 I’ve been on the Bethesda forms; first as macole-Vampire Hunter and now macole. My favorite TES game? It’s a three-way tie; Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion.
Daggerfall in the late 90’s was my first TES game. Morrowind came next followed by Oblivion, Arena, and Skyrim. I’d so like to play Battlespire but I just can’t get it to run right.
Before I started Skyrim I wanted to do what I hadn’t done; the MQ of all three Morrowind modules. I started in 2013 and by 2016 my custom race character (my 1st mod) had gone through Morrowind, Tribunal, and a good portion of Bloodmoon. Probably would still be going if I hadn’t built a new PC in 2017.
Luckily I purchased Skyrim a month before Skyrim SE released (freebie). Skyrim’s MQ came and went so quickly I never developed an intense attachment to it.
I turned my attention to Oblivion in 2017 as I wanted to complete some quest mods (e.g. Lost Spires, Adens Epic Dungeon, Rumple, Gweden Brothel, Stranded Light, and a few others) that I always load but never finish. This game is still going on. It is amazing to me how easily these seemingly independent quest mods can fit into my character’s continuing story.
Lately I’ve been dabbling in Daggerfall Unity and working up interest in a new Morrowind load.
I see my character as an on-going persona that came into being after reading The Fairie in Daggerfall. What happened to them (my ancestors)?
I don’t play dead-is-dead. Well, I did in Daggerfall, they buried you when you die in Daggerfall. Plus I like making characters in Daggerfall’s chargen.
Thanks for your time and for the invite.

Hey, glad you made the leap over here, macole.

I occasionally visit and post in Beth's new forums myself but Chorrol's more like our home, I suppose. Our pub on the corner. Our hamlet in the vast, cold wastes that are the Internet.
I see mirocu has already given a Fishy Stick so darn! I've go a carton full of these things in my freezer, whatever am I going to do with them?

Unfortunately I'm not much of a MMO player. ESO sounds so tempting but when I see the combat I just don't know.

Hello everyone!
I am Lena Wolf and I write fiction... Well, no, it's not fiction - it's all true and happened in my games.

Lena Wolf appeared about ten years ago, she went through some transformations, travelled the world - Tamriel and beyond - made some friends and enemies along the way... The enemies are mostly dead now... Some of her close friends have stories of their own, from other worlds, mostly as yet unwritten.
I am a refugee from the Bethesda forum which is suddenly "sunsetting" with a 7 day notice... more like going supernova, I'd say - and leaving a black hole in its place. So I'm awfully glad to have been accepted here.

I haven't yet been able to explore this forum properly, but I will, give it some time. Unfortunately one cannot just disappear into Oblivion, one also has to cook meals, clean the house, tend to the cats, walk the dog... you know - keep the material representation functioning.

I like to bring characters from other worlds into Tamriel. So in Lena's story you'll find elements and people from Dragon Age, Witcher, Fable, Risen and Two Worlds, with a hint of Naughty Bear. Nothing OTT or out of place - no guns or anything.

To do this "in real life" rather than purely in my imagination, I recently started slight modding. I play Oblivion on Xbox360 and mod my saves to add characters and change the environment. I play Skyrim on PS4 and make some easy mods for it - my PC doesn't have enough muscle to run Skyrim. Most other games don't have much modding potential - Bethesda is really an exception in this respect. And anyhow, most other games are too story-driven to be able to sandbox in them. Which is why, even though I love some of those worlds, my favourite characters sooner or later board a ship and cross the Great Ocean to Tamriel. They do bring their stories with them though.
All my stories - Lena's and others - as well as my attempts at modding are stored on my blog
MasserAndSecunda.wordpress.com, which I started as a way to keep everything in one place. So if anyone is curious about more stories or about "behind the scenes" stuff and scripts, feel free to look in.
Looking forward to engaging with you all!

Hi everyone ! I am Infa Red. TES fan. But mainly now only play and mod Skyrim.
I come with the refugees from Bethesda.net, and I want to thank those who accepted me here and those that helped me get here. This seems to be a elite place, hard to get into. Are we the illuminati ? Did I just make it ? If so, wow, I have so much I want to accomplish now. lol So many people to get rid of... hmmm
I do in fact make it to the cloud district often, so middle finger on that Nazeem !!
I say played out slang, cause I am old school. I started with D&D, and a Atari 2600. Had every console since and even still have my original NES, Sega Genesis, PS1, Dreamcast, xBoxes, etc.. Sadly my Colecovision didn't make it. A official arcade person. Used to steal quarters from our laundry fund jar and run off to the arcade KNOWING I was going to get beat that night, (seriously) but didn't care. That was prob the first sign, I am a true natural born gamer.
That said I do play/mod Skyrim on a PC. YET I am a Mac dude honestly, can not lie (mainly for my music studio). Mac OS has just always been superior to me. Also, big Steve Jobs fan. Windows has always sucked to me. Looks like gibberish. But as you can guess, I just own way too much gear !! haha.
Now - LETS PLAY !! I roll the 8 sided die - and........

Hi Infa. Welcome to the Cloud District!
We are not an elite place. We had a massive influx of spam bots a while back. Because of that we limited the ease in which people can join the forum. We want to make sure they are really people.

Welcome, Infa Red! SubRosa is right - the 'invite only' is to avoid spambots and, since we implemented it in 2017, has worked well. We are effectively, very small though. Despite our roster of +5000 members, no more than about a score are generally active. That has led to a wonderfully intimate little forum though where we get to know each other and, above all, support and respect each other. Again, welcome!

Lena Wolf! So happy to have you here. I bow to your ability to weave many worlds into your stories- that is a remarkable talent! I look forward to perusing your writings and to your joining our family.
Infa Red! Also happy for YOU to be here. I also tend to hang on to electronics- I still have my Apple IIe, which could be plugged into a color TV with a coaxial cable to form a "color monitor". So back in the 80's, I had a 19" Zenith monitor
Also another D&D person, as well as a collector of obscure words just because I like the way they sound. "Tatterdemalion" is still in my top 3.
Based on your roll of the 8-sided, you have a chance to make a Wisdom check. Roll the 20-sided and let's see what happens....

Thanks man ! Appreciated. Wow, a 19" color Zenith monitor in the 80's for the house is baller territory ! Must have been doing well.
Ok, so I guess I must have rolled very low on the Wisdom check, lol because I have never heard of the word Tatterdemalion. Matter fact I had to google it cause I didn't believe it was a word, haha thought you were pullin our chains. Wow- its a real word. Sounds too funny to be a word doesn't it ? LOL
After a good D&D session with my friends, that lasted waaaay too long even to my standards (2.5 days) the tatterdemalion room reeked of old pizza, chinese food, weed and shoe funk.

Hello everyone 😀
I did not see this thread right away...so my first post was in Renee’s 1st vs 3rd pov Thread....oops!
Right, ok, so I am here now...Let’s get going!
I am a consistent enduring persona with a human counterpart who does an adequate job (mostly) of typing my thoughts into text and wiggling the controller sticks when my likeness appears in-game. My personality is quite different to my ‘other half’ and our traits are mostly opposite.
I was born five years ago and I am currently 35, and will probably remain so. My formal adopted title is Contessa...because I like it.
In my ‘imaginaverse’ I enjoy the privileges of noble position: Fine wines, fine slim cigars, caviar and stables for recreation...But I work in Skyrim!
That may be a bit much to appreciate all at once hmmm😳....But we are all internet personalities here,😁„

I was into Morrowind modding until I grew lazy to do no more. I play and set up modded games for TES III, IV and V.
