Andres Indoril
Nov 14 2006, 07:41 PM
Hello, I'm Andres Indoril, a modder and a reviewer of the project called Tamriel Rebuilt (working on the Morrowind side of the project). I joined this forum some time ago, decided to start reading and posting in here now

And that's pretty much it.

My name's Brittany, born in Texas, raised in San Diego, and living in Alaska. Twenty-two years old, and into all things TES. I got hooked on Morrowind, then Oblivion completely knocked off my socks and stole my life

--and I wouldn't go back. My SN is based on my character, a Bosmer Ranger/Thief who I hope to start writing fanfic about very soon. My favorite kind of fanfic is following the actual plot of a game through with a character of your own invention. I would start with Morrowind, but, given Black Hand's fantastic work (which inspired me to join the forum in fact), and given my deep interest in the character of Brother Martin, I believe I will start with Oblivion. Hope everyone enjoys!
canis216
Nov 26 2006, 11:45 PM
Strangely enough, it seems that I haven't posted in this topic--until now.
I'm canis216. Some may know me as "that one guy who writes about that ill-tempered argonian assassin with the awkwardly-long-and-hyphenated-name" and indeed, I am that guy. I'm also 23 years old, and living in Missoula, Montana, after growing up in the Midwest and bouncing around the American Southwest a bit. Currently I'm biding my time in graduate school; teaching writing to freshmen college students and playing competitive ultimate frisbee on the side. During the summer I like to hang out in the most remote places in the lower 48 states--I find jobs that involve tramping about in wilderness areas.
I've also been known to howl like a wolf on occasion.
Lord Revan
Nov 28 2006, 04:56 AM
Well, I've been on for months now, I'm Lord Revan. Most probably know me for writing three stories in the Fan-Fiction section, but I have posted one time or another in every section by now.
I live in the southern USA, and my dad is an OU football fan (though I'm not in to sports). I'm almost out of Middle School, and intend to go to College.
I might not be a sports fan, but I play all sorts of video games including Oblivion (which is the reason I came here), Starcraft, Halo, and StarWars. I like some fantasy and Sci-Fi (reading and writing).
The stories I've written are about a race of humanoids that were left behind on Nirm eons ago, and predate the other races, by millenia. I've also began to write about my Oblivion character, and recently joined the RP section in the "To Hier is Human II" story.
Well, I'm a simple teen that spends a lot of time looking around the forums and sporadically updating my stories and visit the Role-Playing section.
Shiniku
Dec 8 2006, 04:19 PM
Greetings friends, I am Shiniku. Some of you may remember me from various other forums, for those who don't, shame on you!
I used to be great, not anymore.
Shiniku is really more of my alter ego than the actual me, if I like this forum I'll be the real me otherwise I'll probably get banned. Which tends to happen a lot. Oh well.
I'm a fifteen year old male, and I hate being a teenager, because I have everything that I used to make fun of people for. I draw a lot but not that well. I enjoy typing long bouts of nonsense but I don't enjoy reading it. Overall I'm a friendless creepy wreck. And I'm single, hey ladies.
I'd like to think that I've matured a bit in the past few years, but the old me would like to say I'd conformed a bit.
But no one cares, hooray. This looks like a fun forum, maybe. I might not be too active, especially if there is no serious debate.

Dec 27 2006, 11:02 AM
I introduced myself back in September but never began actively posting, but I won't be posting at the official forums anymore due to slight issues between myself and the staff. As a result I'll be more active here.
My name is Doc Hux. I like the Elder Scrolls, and the internet. I also like RPing but your RPs here are at a whole other level from the pitiful little ones I throw together. I feel too intimidated to consider joining.

jack cloudy
Jan 9 2007, 05:43 PM
Hi there, I'm Jack Cloudy, also known as cloudyman, Jackie and other kinds of nicknames people think up here.

The name comes from a certain character I'm writing a story about and you will get to know him once I've actually written the chapter in which his name is used for the first time. I kinda liked it, so I used it.
I live in the Netherlands, which is the little country below the sea of which Holland is a province. Yes, Holland is a province, not a country. And below the sea? We built a lot of big walls along the coast to avoid the Atlantis scenario.
I've been mostly active in the fan fiction area and have in fact managed to write and finish a few stories there, coming down to about 211 pages in word, not counting short stories and unfinished ones. So yes, I am a bit addicted to writing. Other addictions include Morrowind, Luper Alkad (Lup for friends.), Chrysamere and Telekinesis.
Since a short time ago, I've also joined the roleplaying section in which my addictions include, Jumping (Tarhiel style but with safe landing), more Telekinesis and Liches. I have serious problems with keeping my characters from becoming ubergods which can lead to funny situations at times.
Anything else? Well this thread is past the 200 so will it be locked? Or is this particular thread not ruled by the rules?

Hi, Im Erka. Big fan of all things TES. Have been so for some years.
Fargoth
Jan 31 2007, 08:56 AM
Hi,
I'm Fargoth, also known as Myself. I like TES and a lot of other RPG games. In Morrowind and Oblivion I am known as a dark elf named Draver. I favor destruction, (short)blade, mysticism and marksman.
I don't make any mods, but I tryed to change some details (example: make the Emperor young). I joined the house Hlaalu. I enjoy to be the part of these forums, even if I'm yet Evoker.
Malpense the Dark
Jan 31 2007, 09:59 AM
G'day guys
I'm Malpense the Dark, usually just Malpense to make things easier. I've been hovering around these forums for a while and have just started posting my own stories over in the fan fiction section. I live in Australia, Tasmania to narrow it down and I'm just about to start college. I'm interested in ancient history, computer graphics and design and of course- video games. I recently got an Xbox 360 so I've been playing Oblivion and Gears of War pretty hard. I'm also a fan of the Knights of the Old Republic games.
Cheers,
Malpense

Feb 5 2007, 04:37 PM
Hey, My name is DavidBeck and I joined Chorrol.com a while ago, but never got around to introduce myself.
This is probably due to the fact that I cannot start new topics!!!
I can add replies, but I can't post my own questions!!
Everytime I do, a message appears stating I do not have permission.
I've tried contacting the forum administrator, but everytime I click on the link to send him an e-mail, the same message appears.
What is going on!?
I posted this information here hoping that someone will read it and try to help me.
Thanks for fixing this problem!
Edit: Question answered via PM.

blockhead
Mar 23 2007, 11:38 PM
Hey all.
I'm blockhead, the same blockhead you see on some other Morrowind-related forums. I have been playing Morrowind since it came out and have created many MW plugins. I am not sure if I can link external stuff here ... but a google on blockhead & Morrowind should get you there

Recently I have become interested in Morrowind fan fiction (both reading it and writing it). A member of the chorrol forums who I know from another forum lured me here with tales of much Morrowind fan fiction to read.

My Non-Morrowind interests include electronic music, linux.
I'm not saying my age here

Hello there blockhead, you came to the right place for Fan Fiction. We are chock-full of all kinds of stories, some good, some great, some amazing. I have to see a bad one yet, (though I haven't read too much of them, so I don't know if my opinion counts) I recommend The Story of Trey (that might not be the correct name, I haven't kept up-to-date with it for a while) to start off with, then maybe you coule post some of your own or read some others *cough*
mine*cough*.
EDIT: Oops! I just realized you are not supposed to respond to any posts here! Sorry guys, I only read those rules once, ages ago. Feel free to delete my post if you wish.

Apr 5 2007, 10:42 AM
Hi,
I'm new here, and Jalnos is my character from Oblivions name.
My real name is Hamish and Oblivion is what got me into TES. I would like to get xbox live to get Shivering isles as soon as possible. Argonian is my favourite race, and Chorrol is my favourite town.
I love to write fantasy fiction stories, so I will get something up in that forum ASAP.
Apart from TES I like to play video games, sports, and to meet with my friends.
Hopefully I'll make a positive impact on the community, because this place looks great.
See you around the boards!

My name is..., well you can see for yourself. Me myself and I are into TES myhtos and I am an avid H.P. Lovecraft fan. I am a very interested in RPs and also the betterment of humanity, (when I am not partying).
I am a difficult person to caterogize because I am a tech-geek but I am on the Varsity football team. I hail from Fishers, Indiana, a corn country where nothing happens all the time. We are useless to the United States, and I call Indiana "Appendix USA." But whatever, at least we have NASCAR (lolz)

Howdy there, I'm darkynd, hailing from NorCal. Not too much to say, other than that I enjoy reading and writing fan fiction, and I plan on giving most everyone my two cents in that thread... eventually. Yeap.

Aug 8 2007, 12:25 AM
Hey everyone!
I'm allshallfade, or Maggie- I'm 20 years old and I'm currently a college student. I love to read and write, and to play video games that involve the player in a deeper level then simply pressing buttons. However, I am an avid supporter of the preservation of the environment, and I love nature and the outdoors. Some of my favorite activities are backpacking/hiking, kayaking and white-water rafting, along with writing about my experiences... and writing fanfiction, of course! I'm a generally easy-going, laid back person, and I love to have fun, wishing to experience life at its fullest and most pure.
Can't wait to get to know everyone!

Hello all!
Like the Cosmic Banana, I too have been a fan of ES since Morrowind.
I found Chorrol.com through a link at the Oblivion site, and became thoroughly engrossed in the fan fiction, especially the parodies!
This looks like a great site, and hopefully I'll be around for a while!

Hello everybody! I'm Andreas from Sweden. I'm 13 years old in May so don't be surpised if my english isn't so good. I'm also Minque's son. I play Morrowind on my computer and Oblivion on my xbox 360. Right now I play more Morrowind than Oblivion because sometimes I feel that Morrowind is a bit better because it's more weapons and it's very hard to find a good weapon in Cyrodiil I think.
Anyway, I'll be hanging around... See ya!

Ethelle
Apr 7 2008, 09:02 PM
Hello to all members of Chorrol,
I have heard much of this forum, so I finally decided to join. I go by the name Ethelle, though many years back I was known as Fayra. And here's my CV:

I'm 21 years old currently, and in the coming twelve weeks I'll obtain my Bachelor's degree in Biology. And if all goes well, I will be starting my Neurology Master's courses in September, concentrating on Animal Behaviour and Welfare.

Other than the above described boring stuff, I love to write, read and draw, especially when it's related to Elder Scrolls. I also love to walk, hammer away at rock formation for fossils (no, seriously) and to visit foreign countries as long as it's not above 25 degrees Celcius. I especially enjoy nature abroad because we have no nature whatsoever where I come from. Also, history interests me, so I can usually be found in a museum when the weather is bad. 50% of my spare time I spent at my computer though.

I think I know most of you here already, so now it's time to browse the forums a bit.

Apr 7 2008, 10:33 PM
Hello. I just joined today. I don't know what to say but is is probably a good start to introduce myself.
Then Ecce Homo !
I'm 50, widower, heterosexual and animist. I'm not interested in politics. My favorite colour is blue and I drink too much coffee. I have a ferret pet, a small yellow car and I collect gas masks.
I play tesc games for some time yet. I think I began playing games in 1981 or 1982 and the first TESC game I played was Arena but I began to like the series with Morrowind. Now I prefer Oblivion because I found it easier to write my own stuff in oblivion than in Morrowind.
I shall probably not post very often because I have little to say.

LeTren Thundakk
Apr 14 2008, 05:24 AM
I'm LeTren Thundakk, (or Thrall of Warcraft, if that means anything to you.) I'm 18 years old.
I am VERY proud to call myself a Tolkien, DnD(and all that it is an umbrella for: Forgotten Reealms, Dragonlance), and Elder Scrolls fan. I try to write as much as I can, when I have the time and energy.
I haven't enjoyed television since they canceled Courage the Cowardly Dog AND Futurama, so I don't watch a whole lot. I enjoy Sean Bean movies (Although he dies all the time.).
I hope to become a better writer and person as far as I can age.
0rimus
Apr 14 2008, 06:19 AM
My RL name is Steven. I'm 16, 5' 7" (163cm, or so), and very stupid, and extremely intellegent at the same time. I usually prefer Oblivious (intentional mispelling) over Morronwind (again) and despite my clever play on words, just now, I love both games dearly. Alas nothing can beat killing people in Oblivious with Soilwork, Tool, SlipKnot, Scars of Life, Dope, etc. playing full blast. Having suffered indescribable pains and worldly realisms at a young age, I find myself with more depth and a degree of wisdom beyond my (or anyone else's) age. This of course an arrogant assumption, and the first step to being wise, is to never claim to be wiser then anyone else, because no one is. Through logic I can rip worm-holes in the time-space rifts, transporting myself to my own demetia ridden mind, distorted by aforementioned experiences, choice in music, atheism, and watching too many (all) of Tool's music videos. Then I wake up and realize I'm still at school. I enjoy sleep a little too much, same with food. I'm suprisingly athletic despite seeming outwardly average, or thin. I love very few things, but the things I do like i delve into with ravenous hunger for further understanding. Example: I like swords, so I went and did extensive research into sword design and metallurgy, with no other reason then I wanted to. I also like to say redundant/obvious things. I rant alot.

Apr 15 2008, 12:25 AM
Hello Everyone
I am the Sphinx
My heritage as a warrior and magician goes back as Rameses II on Earth in another galaxy.
I have been placed here on Nirn by the nine to clean Tamriel of evil .
The nine pleaded with Ra for help in preventing the destruction of Nirn.
I have full automomy to carry out my duties thoughout Tamriel but alas i fear the daedra are aware
of my presence and have reportedly created a clone of me.
Very ittle is known of him other than he is a member of the dark brotherhood and may rule his own realm in oblivion.
My last contact was an elf "Ubbacanno" his last words were "beware the ruler of Colovia".
He also spoke a little too enthusiastically of Nanatala and the resurection of the Aylieds i doubt that will happen as i have hidden the crown in a secret location.
I dont know what to make of all this.
Now that the Oblivion crisis is over my Mages and i remain vigilant to prevent the collapse of the empire.
Pehaps members of of this community can contact me here on this website or visit me on a covert basis in Chorrol,
as i now head the fighters guild and even may pesuade you to join me in restoring peace and eradicating corruption from the legions as a member of the guild.
Yours sincerely.

Hi I'm Lisa! I'm 28, and from California. I've been playing Oblivion for over a year now, and I love it more than ever. It truely is the best game ever made.
In my freetime I love to make art, including Oblivion fan art. I've also been writing an Oblivion fanfic since August. I'm on alot of other forums and sites (Planet elder scrolls, Lucien Lachance forum, DeviantArt, fanfiction.net, etc...), so some of you might have already seen me around, or seen my drawings.
Glad to be here too! And I look forward to making new friends.

Hey everyone.
I'm Deus13 and I'm a huge fan of the 'Oblivion' installment.
I have, however, never played any other installment. As I was learning that Morrowind was great and as I was about to purchase it, 'Oblivion' came out. I've played oblivion countless hours. Is it worth it to go back and play Morrowind?
It's definitely worth it In my opinion, though Morrowind is quite different from Oblivion in a number of things and you may find it quite a bit more of a challenge.
I'd also like to direct you to this section;

Oh, I didn't see this...
Is mise Silver-Fin, I've been playing Oblivion since it came out, but was heavily disappointed by the main-quest storyline and the emphasis on graphics over content. However, the AI and the Dark Brotherhood quests certainly made up for this.
I still believe Morrowind was better, though.

Hey, my name's Josh and I'm an Elderscrollsoholic. Aha, sorry, couldn't resist. Actually, I say Elder Scrolls, but regretably, I've only ever had the chance to play Oblivion, and from what I hear, many Elder Scrolls "Veterans" as it were, consider the older installments to be better. Then again... don't we always consider what we grew up with / what we were first introduced to to be the best?
Anyhow, I digress, I hope to be postig here quite regularly, and I look forward to talking with you all.

Hello.
My name is Philip, i come from denmark, and has had Oblivion over a year now.
i played morrownd for a couple of years before i stumbled upon morrowind, and if i am to go into the main history behind the games, i am stil a morrowind fan. But then again, in oblivion i think there are so much more history in the single factions.
i would wish i had tried some earlier instllments just to get more of the history inside, but i guess looking through most books in oblivion will go. i even found some personal favourites, but don't ask me of names, i just recently returned to oblivion.
i am searching for shivering isles in denmark as i have allready bought knights of the nine, which i think is a cool expansion, though it has the an annoying feature, i don't like having to be forced to lose my infamy to get that armor

i've read some stuff about the shivering isles expansion, and it seems like a fun game. so i guess i'll have to continue the search in the stores were i live untill i find it, or get in the mood to find it on the net.
i am 16, and have absolutely no life...

Octavia here.

I'm still fairly unknown since I didn't have Internet access at home until March last year (first time I confess it online!) and still shy away from big forums. I've been playing Morrowind for many years and Oblivion since the beginning of last year. I started modding last year when I finally purchased Morrowind for PC and I love it. I still haven't played through Bloodmoon or Tribunal for some reason and I mostly ignore the main quest completely.
