That is such a cute cow! I like cows. They always look so laid back

Don't let those adorable doe eyes fool ya! Try to get their heart rates with your stethoscope and they'll fling you across the barn! These Jersey cattle are on the smallish side and somewhat resemble Bambi, but that's as far as the cuteness goes.

I always liked working with Holsteins and Guernseys. They're bigger and craggier looking, but are very nice cows to work with. My favorite bovine patient was a Guernsey who always knew what I wanted to do and was always cooperative.

Just can't judge a book (or a cow) by her cover, huh?

It's a lot easier to manage, that's for sure. It took me twenty minutes to blowdry and straighten it yesterday. That was a three-hour task with my long hair.
