When Khajiit was putting his PC together, he decided to go with Win7 for the OS because of all the fuss over Win10.

Thus, I'm stuck with 10. Which I like for the most part. But it just gives me one heck of a time with updates on the driver.

My W10 seems to work pretty well - my current puter came built with it. I don't see anything in my task manager using a significant amount of processing while I'm sitting here now. Windows does not even attempt to update my Nvidia graphics card - I have Nvidia GeForce installed and it lets me know whenever my graphics card has a new driver available (and I choose when/if to install the new driver).
Acadian's puter behaves nicely because it knows that otherwise it would get Buffy on its case. And it doesn't want that 
Same with me, Acadian. 10 has never once given me an issue, and it leaves my Radeon drivers alone.

Agreed as to Win10 and graphics drivers. Nvidia drivers in any case. There were a LOT of complaints about forced involuntary driver updates back when Win10 launched. I didn't mess with Win10 until some time afterward. By then that had apparently been worked out. Which reminds me I'm prolly due a video driver update. I believe this PC still uses the one I installed just after assembling it and installing Windows over a year ago.
I have gripes with Win10 for sure, but this isn't one of them.

I had to update because world of warcraft was throwing a fit at me.
If I vanish for a bit, it's because we might need to evacuate. There's a fire about 30km out, but there's no winds. If it spreads too far, we're headed to his sister's house.

Tomorrow I get to go see a dentist and get the rest of the right side of my teeth pulled since they've started to go bad. Odd really since I eat on the left side of my mouth but both my mom and dad have had bad teeth so yay to DNA.

Just got out of the dentist, the extraction was rather painful even with the Novocaine so either the dentist didn't get nerve, they had a weak supply of Novocaine or my body was kicking it. Either way it didn't feel to good but at least it was quick. The next tooth I get worked on gets the filling, I'm going to try and preserve what teeth I have left.
