Yikes. Can't blame you for ditching that. I got rather lucky on that front, as the oldest of the younger generation I'd be the one left to keep the others in line, or at least relatively quiet if nothing else, while the adults congregated in another room.
I don't so much mind the family, but between the six year old who's nuts about me, and one of my other cousins, who's like a decade younger than me and thinks he's "'ard", it gets rather tiring.
At least there's plenty of party food and cake.
I really hate those family getting together stuff, I just dont�want do be there. Which I won�t this time. The straw that broke the donkey�s back was a couple years ago when my aunt teared me a new one because I was about to take food when it was presented to us. We were all guests at her and her man�s house and I thought I�d take some real quick so my grandma could take right after me and I�d be out of the way but oh-ho no! She had to take first because she was the oldest and she was female! Like, what�s that got to do with anything!??

Some people need to realize the world had moved on. Though somebody could've warned you she was like that in advance.Don't have anything that bad, but I've got an aunt I don't really talk to. We pretty much remain civil enough to say hi and bye, but that's about it.

She�s a teacher and has always believed she knows everything (she really does believe that!) and her "husband" argues with her constantly but he does it in a funny way, they never shout or scream in an angry way. He�s always so calm about things, even when his whole house had burnt down I couldn�t see the slightest difference in him! Just got back from family gathering.
Spent half of it playing Pokemon and Magic the Gathering with one of my cousins.
Spent the other half being sat on, climbed on, and hugged almost to death by my six year old cousin, which everyone else found cute. I'm pretty sure she's actually a very small, shaved Wookie or something.

No, no, it kills a number of people equal to the amount of bullets in the magazine before you pull the trigger. Just read the damn passage!
